try a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Open Finder. Go to the "Go" menu in the menu bar. Press and hold Control and click on Library. Go to "Preferences". Find a file named, "com.apple.iTunes.plist" and delete that file. This won't delete your iTunes content. It will reset iTunes. Try it again.

The Yosemite update wrecked your Ps CS5.1 installation. Thank Apple for that.
The workaround is to uninstall CS5, look for, download and run the Adobe CS Cleaner Tool, Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility, install CS5 from scratch, apply all available updates to it, and then Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility once again, in that precise order.
You should know that there are bunches of bugs and issues that Apple still has not managed to fix in Yosemite. Users have been advised to downgrade to a more stable issue of OS X and some have.

The progress for some games will transfer since some games synce progress to a cental server. For other games you will have to have the backup of the old iPod.
You can restore from backup or access the backup. See:

If you have acces to the old iPod yu can make a backup by connecting the iPod to the computer and right click on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore from that backup.

Firstly, the icons when you load safari are your bookmarks in the favourite section. To remove them you can simply either delete them or move them to another bookmark folder. To access your bookmarks tap the blue book in the top right corner and then go through to bookmarks and select and edit from there, goodluck :)

How did you restore from your old hard drive?
Technically all that was needed was to use Migration Assistant on the fresh OS X install to migrate users accounts and programs to the new machine.
You can use a SATA to USB adapter to connect the old drive if you want to go that way and start over with a fresh install again on the new drive.

I have a 3GS I have just updated the iOS from IOS 4.?.? to iOS 6.?.? I realise this should have been done ages ago. My phone works after the upgrade, but none of my Apps, Photos from designated folder or Music will sync.

When I do connect the phone. iTunes says back up was interupted and to click to resume, it just then hangs on time remaining without a number? If I dissconnect during this I get Error (-10) I can then access my phone in iTunes and my phone does work? In iTunes I can see all the things that were on my phone, all the Apps/Music/Phots/Other etc.. with their relevant amount (Music 8.2gb/Apps 2.1gb etc...) in the coloured bar along the bottom, so if I then click Apply you would think it would just copy them to the phone. It doesn't as soon as you click Apply the multi coloured bar and catagories changes just to 'Other' and (1004mb) and only the basics are on my phone. No music, no additional Apps and only Camera Roll, not photos from chosen folder.
Any suggestions would be great.

To do this your device should be firstly connected to computer and iTunes is open. Put your device into dfu mode: 1.turn off your device 2.press and hold power and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds and release power and keep holding home until iTunes says a device in recovery mode. now should be able to restore.
