I have upgraded my iTunes for Windows and I have lost all my apps and music.
Although i signed in with my iTunes account, i can see only 5 apps (that i downloaded in the last 2-3 days), although on my iPad and iPhone i have more than 100 apps.
If i connect my devices to iTunes, the syncronisation will be made the other way, from iTunes to iPhone/iPad, so i will lose everything.
1. How can i restore these apps from the iCloud back-ups from my devices to my iTunes? Or any other method possible?
2. If you can also give me a suggestion about how to find my music playlists, that would save me from a lot of useless work on creating them again.

Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
In the unlikely event that all the media has been inexplicably and permanently removed from your computer, see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
When you get it all working make a backup!

For Windows: [Windows HDD]\Users\[Your Username]\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media
For Mac OS X: Music\iTunes\iTunes Media
If they are not there, then there is absolutely no way to recover them. -

I updated my iPhone and lost all photos, videos and e-mail accounts. How do I get them back?
I updated my iPhone yesterday (simply to get rid of the reminder that was bugging me). The last time I updated the phone everything went fine, my settings, ringtones, messages photos etc all backed up perfectly. This time around all my photos are gone, my videos have disappeared, ringtones are back at factory settings and my e-mail accounts are all gone. I've also lost all my messages which is a real bummer because there were contact details in some of them. I've tried restoring the phone from iTunes and going back to a previous backup but no joy. Can anyone help?

Pictures were never in iTunes. iTunes is not a photo management program. It is merely a tool that allows syncing of a specified folder to an iDevice. Was the folder that was being synced copied from the old computer to the new computer?

I recently bought 4 songs, and 1 ringtone from the iTunes Store on my iPhone 3GS. I went to plug my iPhone in my computer so I can transfer my music from my iPhone to my computer. When none of my music files transfered I got a little worried so I looked on my phone under Sound and under Ringtone I didn't have any of my ringtones that I had bought, and I didn't have the 4 songs that I bought that night either. I have searched my phone, and I have turned it off and on, but still nothing. I have searched my computer but still nothing. I loged into my iTunes account and under Most Recent Purchase I go to Purchase History, and I can clearly see the 4 songs and 1 ringtone that have disappeared from my iPhone. I do not know how to get those ringtones back or the music back to my phone. Please help me!

MDouble-click your hard disk's icon in the Finder and check whether the amount of free space has increased.
If the amount of free space has not increased, and the name of your account's home folder was accidentally changed, use the instructions in this article to reset it.
If the amount of free space has not increased, and the name of your account's home folder was deliberately changed, open the NetInfo Manager in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, click the padlock, type in your password, and change the last part of the home property of that user to point to the desired name of the home folder. Don't delete or alter any other accounts, properties, or groups, including that account's name property. When done, log out and log back in.
If the amount of free space on the hard disk has increased, use an application such as Data Rescue to get your data back.

After spending hours at the pc today i finally updated itunes
After doing this i updated my iphone 3gs to ios 5, it was backed up prior to the update.
i finally managed to update to ios 5 after about 5 attempts, but now i have no voicemails (which i need as i have a car insurance claim going through and that was my proof they were in the wrong!!) and no apps!!
When i first tried to resync my iphone to itunes it didnt recognise it but now it does.
Prior back up has DISSAPEARED!!!

You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. -
I attached my iphone to my computer to put my music and photos on the computer. Now i have lost all my apps from my phone. I dont understand what has happened and i cannot find my apps on my phone or computer. Can anyone help?
If you have iCloud backups then you should be OK except for a few odds and ends. See this:
iCloud backups include nearly all data and settings stored on your device. iCloud backups don't include:

Data stored in other cloud services, like Gmail and Exchange mail

An iTunes backup includes nearly all of your device's data and settings. An iTunes backup doesn't include:

It sounds like you are wanting to copy your content from your iPad to your computer. You can trasnfer your iTunes purchases from the device to the computer with the following article:

Connect your device to the computer. If it is synced with another iTunes library, the following dialog may appear:

The content will be replaced with whatever existing content is in the current iTunes library your device is connected to. If there is no content in the iTunes library, nothing will be synced to your device, and your device will be empty.
Please note that this feature works only for items that were purchased on the iTunes Store. Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library. Please see this article for more details.
