No on the book title, no problem there.
The issue is: my book pages appear as on white paper, no background that resembles a open book and also no option to change fonts. The book was created in iBooks author, there was a problem going with the "Publish" menu route so I was instructed my Apple to "export" the file and submit that. I think that's the problem after reading that iBooks author is a hybrid epub file.

It is a silly feature, but Apple would be remiss if they did not offer it.
Go to the App Store someday and read the reviews of iBooks.There is an incredible amount of bellyaching because the new (iOS 7) graphics don't look as touchy-feely as the iOS 6 graphics. A lot of people want to feel like they are holding a piece of tree in their hands when they read eBooks. Doesn't compute for me, but as an author, I don't want Apple to kick these people in the shins, either.
As for the processing hit...uhm...unless you happen to be rendering 3D animations at the time, it probably isn't going to ruin your chip's day. -
Currently the inset margins I set for caption text in the gallery widget resets to zero when previewed on different iPads. These are galleries with different images and the captions are set to “individual caption per image” in the interaction panel.
BUT the inset margins will preview correctly if the gallery caption is set to “same caption for all images” in the widget interactions panel. How does one go about fixing this in iBooks Author? So I opened the files in TextWrangler to search for a word I know I highlighted in a particular book. That helped me identify the correct file for the book I am concerned with. I did a Time Machine restore of the file and got my notes back the way they were. -

Thanks!The arrows don't show up on the iPad, they are only to aid navigation within iBA. You can use boxes in the background to frame your galleries (as the background is off). I believe it's also possible to change the colour of the dots beneath the gallery too, although I forget how to do that right now.
About Apple's rigid UX – I agree that it can be frustrating. Apple intended iBA to be used by everyone, and the sort of design options and customisability we might want may confuse the less experienced user. Apple also wanted the UI for every book to be the same – from the point of view of the new user, once you've used one iBA ebook (or iBook, I'm not sure what Apple want us to call it), you can use them all. Otherwise end users would to get used to a slightly different UI on each book, which kind of works against the idea that ideally UI should be intuitive enough to be invisible. I can see the point in that. I have created a 'How to use' section in every iBA file I've made. It get's old quickly.
Oh, and (you probably know this, but…) you can choose your own custom icon for audio. It's limited, as it's only a placeholder image that allows you to play an audio file, there's no ability to pause the audio or stop it once you choose the view as thumbnail choice. Something I'd like to see changed.

I did purchase it again for my iPad mini whilst travelling without my MacBook Pro but now io7 and iOS 8 photos do what they do not sure iPhotos on iPad as well necessary... -

I just got Flash CS4. I think it is supposed to have several categories of templates. I only have the advertising category. How can I get the standard Adobe CS4 sample templates, like the photo slideshow? I cannot find anyplace on the Adobe.com site for template downloads.

The new update limits album sorts to album by artist year and is too limiting. How do I get the standard sort by album alone?
Click the heading of the Album column to cycle between Album, Album by Artist and Album By Artist/Year.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Copy them from your PC to a flash drive or an external drive, then open iPhoto and select Import to Library.
Depending on your settings, iPhoto might open automatically and ask if you want to import them when the device (camera or flash drive or external drive) containing the images is connected.
At the end of the import, iPhoto will ask if you want to delete or keep the photos on the other device. Keep until you're absolutely certain all images are imported correctly and you've viewed them in iPhoto. It's always nice to have a backup. -

You need to install a newer Mac OS X version to get a newer version of iCal. If you're using a PowerPC Mac, you can't upgrade the OS or iCal further.

I have always been able to sync by plugging into my computer Mac OS 10.6.8 which does not interface with icloud. Now my iphone only wants to sync calander and contacts via icloud and will not sync when plugged in. Does any one else have this issue and or ideas?

My AppleTV keeps dimming as if it is in energy saving mode. My TV and DVD/Netflix player do not do this. How do I disable the energy saver feature in AppleTV? BTW: This is my second AppleTV device so it does not appear to be a product defect.
I keep seeing versions of this same question, and it's always the same answer: it's the TV. Well, it happens to me as well. But it only happens when viewing programming via Apple TV. My cable is totally fine: no dimming. Only with Apple TV. So what's the answer?

SCCM issue - "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number"
I have a problem with the error "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number" recurring.
I am trying to install Acrobat XI Std silently by SCCM.
I've used the Adobe Customisation Wizard to create a mst which include the volume serial number we have with our licence purchases. Note that I am in Australia. I use the command line in SCCM for the install as "msiexec /i "AcroStan.msi" TRANSFORMS="D&B_AcroStd.mst" /qn" which fails silently. If I install on a local machine using an admin command prompt and changing to /qb at the end, I get the aforementioned error.
I have a few things to try and resolve, having searched the adobe forums and other forums for the solution. The mst is only trying to install US English & I have even gone so far as to use the direct editor in the customisation wizard and change some values in the property table to resolve this. In the property table I can confirm that LANG_SEL_DEFAULT = ENU, REGIONAL_LIST = ENU, LANG_LIST = en_US, ProductLanguage = 1033
Is there a way to check the language specified for ym serial number?

Thanks for the location, I've downloaded and then when I tried an install of the newly extracted msi (admittedly on the same computer) I got exactly the same issue. Of note though is that running /qf automatically brought up the same serial number and the same incorrectly spelled company name. Installing on another computer (freshly imaged) doesn't have those inputs already present under /qf. Next when I try using the transfrom (a new one) with /qr it gives an error of the serial number, displaying the entire serial.

I've had a look through yours and it seems our issues could have the same origin. Looks like I may have to call customer support regarding the serial number as Sabian suggested in your thread.
The bit that gets me is when the same serial number is used in a manual install (or /qf) then it installs ok without any errors. -
I would like to create the a swatch, add it to the library and import to the swatch panel. The help pages available relate to earlier versions of Muse, which does not work with the 2014.2 release version that I have. I have created a library folder, imported the colour swatch as just 4 colours as a mulib file. I drag the four colours on to the muse page in design view but that is as far as I get. Can anyone help? I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write
