Import creating extra entry in Location Data Tuple

Hi Experts,
I am using SAP MDM SP 04 in which I have a xml which has Plant level data and is imported in to Location Data Tuple.
On import I am using set Ruple update with all field as matching fields.
For New records - Create
For Existing records - Update Mapped
In few records I am getting an error with Two entries in Tuple, one valid and another with just one field filled in and others not populated.
Please help me resolve this, and also explain why is it happening?
Please Guide!
Thanks in advance,
Ravi

Hi Ravi,
Check the below SAP Notes, which describes the cases of creating an extra entry in Tuple while importing happens in MDM 7.1 SP04

  • Creating iCal entries based on date/time appearing in text on any app

One thing I like about iCal's integration with Apple Mail is that the mail client is able to sense dates and times in email messages and then allow you to create iCal entries. But it seems that this date and time sensing is only limited to Apple Mail when technically users could potentially want to create iCal entries when a date and time appears on any app, such as on a web page in a web browser, in a PDF, or a word processing document. It seems logical then for iCal to be integrated with OS X's text services, so that at least if I highlighted a date and time, I could right click on it and bring up an option to create an iCal entry on based on that date and time.
Does anyone know if this feature is natively supported (for which I have yet to enable), or is there a third party app out there that will allow me to do this?

Just a quick update. I tried the first two -- text2cal and Calendar Creator -- and they don't seem to work on OS X 10.6.6.
However, on another note, I found some discussion regarding Snow Leopard's enhanced data detectors being natively able to do what I've been looking for. But I just can't seem to get it to work on my computer:
"Enhanced Data Detectors now link dates, times and other items found in text to actionable items in other applications, like iCal. For example, a drop-down menu that automatically appears when you select the time or date parts in a text enables you to create a new iCal event from a selected date or show the date in iCal." • Create service entry sheet

    Hi,
I have a requirement to create service entry sheet.
Data which has to be input is taken from a Z table.
I am using the FM BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE, but I am unable to find mapping for some of the fields in the Z table in the FM. These are as given below:
    ZPROJ_DESC(Project  Description)
    ZHOURS(Hours)
    ZMAN_DAYS(Man days)
    ZCOST_TYPE(Cost Type)
    ZTS_STATUS(Time sheet status)
ZUID_UPLOAD(User name in user master record)
    ZRES(Resource)
Could you please help me by giving a possible mapping for these fields.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Import option is not showing the Data Source created using ODBC

    Hi all,
I'm new to OBIEE, just installed OBIEE 10g in my system with the help of some reply from this Forum (thanks to Kalyan for this).
Now when I tried to create new rpd, the Import option is not showing the Data source I have created. I have created new Datasource in the SystemDSN tab of the ODBC Administrator window,I have tried this by creating the Datasource in the UserDNS tab as well.
Mine is Windows 7 Ultimate. The new data source which I have created through the ODBC Administrator window is to connect to SQL 2008 (I'm trying to get some table from SQL 2008 database), I don't have Oracle data base.
While creating the Data source ODBC Administrator is showing only two drives (SQL Server and SQL Server Native Client 10.0 ) , so I have created the Data source using the SQL Server Native Client 10.0 drive.
Can some one help me to understand the issue and to solve it.
    Thanks,

  • Data loader : Import -- creating duplicate records ?

    Hi all,
does anyone have also encountered the behaviour with Oracle Data Loader that duplicate records are created (also if i set the option: duplicatecheckoption=externalid) When i am checking the "import request queue - view" the request parameters of the job looks fine! ->
Duplicate Checking Method == External Unique ID
Action Taken if Duplicate Found == Overwrite Existing Records
but data loader have created new records where the "External Unique ID" is already existent..
Very strange is that when i create the import manually (by using Import Wizard) exactly the same import does work correct! Here the duplicate checking method works correct and the record is updated....
I know the data loader has 2 methods, one for update and the other for import, however i do not expect that the import creates duplicates if the record is already existing, rather doing nothing!
Anyone else experiencing the same ?? I hope that this is not expected behaviour!! - by the way method - "Update" works fine.
    thanks in advance, Juergen

Sorry to hear about your duplicate records, Juergen. Hopefully you performed a small test load first, before a full load, which is a best practice for data import that we recommend in our documentation and courses.
Sorry also to inform you that this is expected behavior --- Data Loader does not check for duplicates when inserting (aka importing). It only checks for duplicates when updating (aka overwriting). This is extensively documented in the Data Loader User Guide, the Data Loader FAQ, and in the Data Import Options Overview document.
You should review all documentation on Oracle Data Loader On Demand before using it.
These resources (and a recommended learning path for Data Loader) can all be found on the Data Import Resources page of the Training and Support Center. At the top right of the CRM On Demand application, click Training and Support, and search for "*data import resources*". This should bring you to the page.

  • How not to get a 'Journal Import Created' description at the Journal Entry Lines?

For records loaded thru the Journal import,
I always get a 'Journal Import Created' description at the Journal Entry Lines.
Instead of this description, I want a
more useful information which I may
    include at the GL_INTERFACE table
    possibly at the REFERENCE10 field.
For those who will reply to this question,
thank you very much in advance.
    null

To populate this journal description, the Reference10 field must be populated in the GL_INTERFACE table.
However, I have also discovered (version 11.03) that if you populate this field, but then import summarized journals, Oracle discards the value and reverts to "Journal Import Created" unless the value in the reference10 field is identical for all records to be summarized.

  • Is a BAPIBadi available for uploading data to create Service Entry Sheet?

    Dear MM Gurus,
Users are currently entering Service PO and creating Service Entry sheet for the Subcontractor consultants  (using Transaction code - ML81N) by referring to the Service PO.
Due to the high amount of data, the users do not want to create Service Entry sheet using ML81N.
Rather, they have the flat files containing approved timesheet data of the consultants every month and want to upload the flat files. Is there any BAPI or BADI available for uploading such data monthly, to create a Service Entry sheet automatically? Is this feasible?
Do other companies follow this procedure? Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.
    thanks

  • How to create an album based upon date of importing photos

today i imported over 2000 photos with dates accross three years time frame. how can i create an album based upon the date i imported the photos? or can i.
if not, how would i add these pix to a specific album without going through the whole library some 15,000 photos strong now?

Check out the Film Rolls ->
    View -> Film Rolls
Each import creates a Roll, so the most recent one's should be easy to find. Select all and make an album from them.

  • When importing, creates folder with wrong date

I found a curious bug in Lightroom 4.2.
If I have pictures taken after 23:00, Lightroom creates an import folder in the next day, but the dates in the files are correct.
    Example:
    The file's date is: 29/11/2012 23:19.
However if I hover my mouse over the image in the import dialog:
The date that appears is 30/11/2012 00:19. Here's the detail:
After you import, you get the image in the wrong import folder, but the meta on the image is correct:
I've started to notice this before, but always thought of a wrong date on my camera. Just noticed that this happens with my camera, iPhone, and any other photo that has a time after 23:00.
Do you know if there is a solution for this?
    Thank you in advance,
    Manuel Azevedo

Does your computer time match with your camera time? Summer-/winter-time apart?
The reason, why I am asking this: the map module auto-assumes that these times match (rather than asking you in which UTC-time zone your image time stamps should be interpreted when tagging from a gpx-track).
Could be that something similar is happening in import module if you let LR auto-create destination folders based on date-time.
I have no experience with this as I prefer to explicitely give the names of the new destination folders myself.

  • Import GL Journal Entries

Can someone please tell me the exact format to use when importing GL Journal entries using the SDK DI
I have tried using the sample that is in the DI Objects with absolutely no luck at all.
What exactly ARE the mandatory fields? I have a .txt file which is so simple it should work. 2 lines only plus a minimal header.
When I use the AccountCode and the ContraAccount and the shortname Account in the one line the system throws me back an error which states the ContraAccount does not exist which is not true.
Then my default period is set as this month and the system gives me an error stating my date is in the wrong period.
I would appreciate all the help someone can give me please as I am confused.
    File input is:
    "GJH","10/08/04"
    "GJL",161010,500045,,22.00,"10.08.04",0,"10.08.04",161010,"10.08.04"
    "GJL",500045,161010,22.00,,"10.08.04",1,"10.08.04",500045,"10.08.04"
    Mapping is:
GJH equals Header and the date is mapped to TaxDate
GJL equals Line and the mapping is:
    Field 02 = AccountCode
    Field 03 = ContraAccount
    Field 04 = Credit
    Field 05 = Debit
    Field 06 = DueDate
    Field 07 = LineNbr
    Field 08 = TaxDate
    Field 09 = ShortName
    Field 10 = ReferenceDate1
I am testing using the UK Demo Database

    Hi,
You haven't posted all of code, but I suppose you add a Line object immediately after creating a new JournalEntry object. But when you create JournalEntry object you already get one empty Line, so you have add lines from 2-nd. It's a common issue with the DI Business Objects. I've got the same messages when tried to recieve invoices.
    Best regards,
    Mark

  • Metadata conflict: Doesn't show location data

    Hello there,
I imported some pictures to Lightroom and edited them there normally. After closing lightroom I edited the location information via GeoSetter (www.geosetter.de). Looking at the images via ACDSee, I see correctly entered City, Sublocation, Procince, Country Code and Country Name in the IPTC data.
Firing up Lightroom 2, I do not see these metadata changes, location fields are all empty. So I click on Synchronize folder and synchronize Metadata. Lightroom now gives all images a Metadata status of "Has been changed". When I click on "Resolve conflict", the location data still is not shown, but actually the location data is deleted when looking at the image again via GeoSetter (or ACDSee) - basically the Lightroom-state-of-things (no locationdata) has been restored I guess. Ok, moving on.
I go back to GeoSetter and reset the location to where it should be, click on synchronize metadata in Lightroom again and the Metadata status is "up to date" - no "resolve conflict" possible, the problem now is:
The location data is STILL in the IPTC fields, Lightroom doesn't show it though, location fields are empty and stay empty even after synchronizing, or Lightroom deletes it as previously stated.
What is the correct way to edit metadata externally and how to tell Lightroom to resolve the metadata conflict by ACCEPTING the external changes and not reverting to the status quo?
    Sincerely,
    Dennis

    >will this method not revert any prior changes made to the images? (e.g. Crop, Keywords, Local Adjustments).
It will, which as you have already figured out, isn't a good idea.
I don't know anything about Geosetter, but my guess is that it's writing the data back into the original photos. Unfortunately, Lightroom doesn't see these changes when Sync folder command is used because it's looking for a Metadata Change date, which is normally stored in XMP. There is a workaround though.
You haven't mentioned the type of files that you're working with, but I'll assume they're raw. If so the workaround is to use the Lr "Save Metadata to file" command before working on them with the external application (Geosetter). This will create an XMP file for each photo that contains all your existing metadata plus any Develop adjustments. Now you can save the new IPTC back to the files using Geosetter. Once that part is completed you can use the "Read Metadata from file" command knowing that all your original Lr metadata and develop adjustments will be copied back along with the new IPTC info.
Above also works with JPEG and TIFF files

  • Create Service entry sheet based on % work completion

    Dear Experts
Is it possible to enter the percentage for planned services, while creating service entry sheet.??
    For example:
My client requirement is like that, while creation service PO, there a planned service like 1 lot - 10,000RS.
while creatiog service entry sheet, they need to keyin like 34.567%, so it possible to keyin as 34.567% while creating service entry sheet. if so please advice me the steps..is there any confiq to be done?
    Please advice me..
    Regards
    Saravanan

    Really appreciate your response!
They want percentage enter with min 3 decimal points like 34.567%, its one of most important requirements, bez the 3rd digits of percentage,...will shows big fluction in VALUE. say around like millions.
Thats what they want to be implemented.
While creating service entry sheet, instead of Quantity field, is it possible to bring the Percentage field in SES?
There is one control data in condition table, where we can assign percentage, but i dont know the confiq...i dont know is this the correct place or not...even after change to percentage..whether it will allows 3 digit decimal or not..that one more question?

  • Regarding pricing not picking from contract while creating service entry

    hello,
we are facing a problem -we have created a contract with a service item and made a purchase order with the same reference as well. problem starts while creating service entry sheet while adopting the services its not picking the rate from the contract. please guide us how to proceed further.
    thanks,
    ritesh

    Hi Ritesh,
please check the pricing date in the contract service item and also in the entry sheet header. The price could be probably not found due to different validity of the pricing condition in contract - the price from the contract is not valid on pricing date of   the service entry sheet.
The price in SES is determined on the base of the value in the
field 'Price Reference Date of Entry Sheet' (ESSR-LBLDT). This field
is located on 'Basic data' tab.
However, enhancement SRVESSR (customer exit EXIT_SAPLMLSR_010) can
be used for changing this behaviour.
