Is it possible to change the height of Spry Menu Bar items?

I'm new to websites and have been trying to understand the CSS of the Spry menu bar. I've managed to put a horizontal menu bar in place and with the help of some previous discussions in this forum, have changed the colours of the menu items and have even managed to centre the text - Thanks!
However, I really would like to have a smaller menu bar - height wise.
I've tried reducing the default height of the menu bar items by adding a height and by reducing the font size and padding. The results have been varied. In Firefox and in Dreamweaver's 'live view' there is still a thin line showing underneath my horizontal menu which is the background colour of the div my menu sits in. In IE there is a similar 'chunk missing' from the bottom of the items.
Is this something that can be done? I've seen lots of help on how to change the width of the items, but have not found any which suggest that the height can be changed.

Sure. You just need to be thorough. Keep in mind that in a Spry Menu Bar you are making the link-text in the list-items block elements, so you will want to change the line-height of the a element. Pick style selectors in the css stylesheet that end in a, with or without an additional class (a.classhere), and play with the line-height.
Another attribute you can consider is the difference in height between Cap and lower case and All caps. You can usually get away with a smaller line-height and a smaller font-size with all caps, because there are no descenders on the text to require more line-height. Keep in mind also that when you state a line-height, your text will center vertically in the line-height, as far as I know, so you might even get away without top and bottom padding.

Does any know a way of changing the calendar to use the 24 hour time instead of AM / PM? I would ideally want it displayed this way as all entries are in 24 hour time.

You can't change the canvas at runtime. But you can put the scrollbar on a stacked canvas and then show or hide that stacked canvas on different canvases.

You can change the background display color in the playback preferences, either black, white, or checkerboard. This does not change the output color. If you want to add a color to the video, you have to place a custom generator underneath your video and change the color in the inspector.

Possible to change Order of Icons in Menu Bar?

Hey I was wondering if there is any way I can rearrange the icons in the menu bar such as battery status, bluetooth, ichat, spaces, volume and time. I found you can kind of change them by disabling the presence of the icon in system preferences then re-enabling it, it you can change the order a little bit. Is there an easier way to do this? I have the sound icon in between my battery status and time and would like to move it to the left.

The above solution will not work when testing on the desktop as Capabilities.screenResolutionY returns the actual screen resolution of the host machine and not that of the emulated device.
I too would really appreciate a method to obtain the devices status bar height (i.e Capabilities.statusBarHeight) for calulating component width and height upfront.

I'm using the standard CS5 Spry Menu Bar (Horizontal) in Dreamweaver. I have it set up exactly the way I want with CSS. However, I've very little experience with Javascript, consequently I'd like to ask anyone here for some help in modifying this aspect of the Spry Menu Bar. I'd like it to 'click-open' and not open when the mouse is over it. I've tried to change the delay variables in the code to something that has a longer duration in milliseconds; unfortunately, this tends to cause some bugs such as the menu re-opening once the mouse is no longer near it and other such bugs.
The ideal solution for me would be to have it open when it's clicked on once. The reason I need this is because the menu appears over some buttons - there's no way around this for me, it's the layout I absolutely must have. Although the buttons don't overlap with the menu, they are very close and it is annoying when your hand slips a little and the menu pops up over it all.
I'd appreciate any help at all, thank you.
PS:- The Javascript containing the delay variables I tried to modify.

How to change the height of the advanced paragraph window in WPC?

Hello,
I would like to have a bigger window when I work with the advanced paragraph in WPC in order to see better the content.
It´s ok if I see at the beginning the default size. However, I need the posibility to maximize the height of the window to a predefinded maximum height.
It´s maybe possible to give an extra property for like MaxHeight="500" in the xml-File?

I had another idea to solve it. If I couldn't change the height, i'll create my own web form (based on article form), only with paragraph field.
I've tested this option and worked. But I prefer to use the standard web form.

If I could override methods in these classes - I feel I could then change code to change the height from the defult based on the content.

It is using c#, but we could convert it to vb.net, that document has shared the detailed methods which we need to deal with to resize the row.
In addition, since there is a control DataGridView which has more features such as rows property and autosizemode which allows us set row's height, if possible you could consider using that control instead.

Add a parameter for layout on selection-screen (p_varmm LIKE disvariant-variant).
As you are in backgroud mode, ALV will be printed with this layout (assuming you call correctly the MF ALV_LIST or REUSE_ALV_GRID)

Just got automatically installed the latest 6.22 version of skype few minutes ago and I got a few questions.
First and foremost, how can I MANUALLY change the height of the textbox, where I type the messages. I would like to make it larger, like in the previous versions of skype. I don't want to move my mouse cursor through the entire monitor to reach this tiny textbox.
And second, why you guys are trying constanly to ruin something that is working perfectly ? Going to revert to the previous version until you fix all these nuisances.

There is no way to do this, it is designed to be strictly landscape with keyboard, portrait without - not the best thought-out phone on the market, mainly geared towards compulsive texters and e-mailers.
There's no way to know whetherNokia will change this with any future updates, perhaps you should make the recommendation to them directly using the 'contact us' link.

So, I have an HP Pavilion g7-1075dx Notebook with Windows 7. I'm an avid gamer and wish to play the newest games. However, there's one problem thats keeping me from doing so. Alot of the newer games require newer video/graphics cards. This particular laptop has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. The newest games seem to require ATI Radeon HD 4850 and above. This is the only thing thats keeping me from playing games like Starcraft II on the highest settings OR in the case of Star Wars: The Old Republic, it almost keeps me from playing the game, period, due to the graphics being too much for my current card to handle, causing massive lag. I was hoping I could change the video card. Upgrade. However, i've heard that with most laptops or notebooks you can't upgrade anything other than the RAM. I'm hoping anyone on here can help me out and tell me if it is possible to get a new video card for my laptop. We don't have a desktop computer so this laptop is my only hope for a long time to play newer PC games.
