ITunes U raw reports - storefronts do not match real geo location

Hello,
in iTunes U raw reports the storefronts do not match real geo location.
I've made some tests choosing different country stores in iTunes client instead of the real one where I'm geographically located.
Then I preview and download some episodes taking note of my IP (WAN), date and time, actions, client used, episode titles ; then looking in the raw  report for that IP address( I suppose the last two fields are X.X for a privacy reason) , time, actions, client used and episode titles, as expected I've found the storefront I've selected instead of my real geo location.
This is a correct behavior of the new reporting system, but the problem is that I found in my reports unexpected activities for some countries probably because users choose a different or incorrect iTunes contry store and that could make the reports unreliable if looking for the countries that follow our iTunes U site.
It would be nice to have the real geographical  location; we are an international scientific and no profit organization, and our mission is to transfer knowledge, and for that reason we would understand which countries follow us.

You are welcome. I'm glad you got it back up.
(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

There are other things you can do, and you'll find differing opinions about such things. In general, I think implementing the "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server" and adding the SARE rules will help a lot. Good luck!

    I thought, You can post manually to your stock account.
    First you can look the account change history for your stock account. Automatic posting check may be change by someone at past, and after manually posting, check it again.
    Z programs which is posting FI document with BAPI, system can not look automatic posting checkbox in FS00. May be Z programs posting to your stock without MM module.
    How can you catch this document?
    Answer is, please add BKPF-AWTYP field to your FBL3N report.
    Call SPRO -> Financial Accounting (New) -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Customer Accounts -> Line Items -> Display Line Items -> Define Additional Fields for Line Item Display
    Please add new entry with using BKPF-AWTYP then save this customizing and please run RFPOSXEXTEND report with using SE38 transaction. While running this program, a pop-up appear on your screen, please click "YES" after that program will finish correctly. Then you can see "Reference Transact." field in FBL3N report.
    Then list your stock account with using this report and get subtotal for "Reference Transact.". If this field value is MKPF, these postings is coming from MM module. If there is a BKPF or BKPFF value, those are posting manually from FI module.

    Don't really see an easy way to do that. You don't get an option to say
    machine name not= to serial number or visa versa. The only thing I can
    see to do is create a basic workstation report and display machine name
    and serial number and do a side by side comparison.

    When I run the inventory in warehouse report, the value (using last purchase price) does not match the inventory finished goods account. Can you please advise why?

    Dear Jane,
    The only report for inventory to link to financial statement would be Inventory Audit Report.
    All other reports are just for your convenience. They are not financial based.

  • 1.My itunes app list on laptop does not match my devices, how do i fix?

    Two questions...
    1. my itunes app list on my laptop does not match my iphone and ipad2.  It has apps that have been deleted years ago as well as some of my wifes apps and mothers which leads me to...
    2. I have setup my mom's ipad mini and wifes iphone 4 a while back and the accounts have merged almost.  Some of their apps when I set them up show up on my app list, some of my wifes songs transferred to my itunes account, when I go to update my apps it asks me for their passwords and already has their usernames listed, all while logged in under my account.  Also, when i log out and then log in under them, the same songs, movies, etc that are downloaded under MY account show up.  Shouldn't I log in under them and see their songs, etc? Logout, log in under my name and see MY list?

    Tthe stock values are matching in the company code level for previous financial year but when checking for few sties, the stock values are not matching.
    For Ex. year 2008 MM Stock values Rs. 10 Lakhs & FI values also same Rs.10 Lakhs for the company code level.
                 If you check the same for few sites( Site1, site2, site3, site4) & same year, the MM & FI values are different.
    I really appreciate if you help in this.

  • ITunes Sign In - Credit Card Does not Match Address

    Hello -
    I'm new and logged onto itunes for the first time.
    1) I wanted to redeem a gift card, but when I logged in the program asked for my credit card info
    2) I then typed it in (want to use Amex) but I got one error that stated my area code needed to be 3 digits. Then I hit the button again, and got an error that stated my bank account information does not match my address.
    Has anyone had this problem? My boy friend did buy the ipod for me, does this matter?

    Unfortunately, a gift card is not a valid form of payment for the Music store. iTunes uses the credit card info to verify your location, and as a gift card doesn't have the same address info as you do (it will have an address for the corporation that issued it), iTMS is unable to verify your address.
    You may, however, use that gift card to buy a pre-paid iTunes card (I see them in the checkout lines of many stores) which you can use on iTunes, and even to set up an account.

  • ITunes 7.3.2: ArtWork does not match Images on Cover Flow View and iPod

    Hello everyone, this is my first post, thanks in advance for any and all help.
    I have loaded most of my music collection onto iTunes, and authorized it to get album artwork. It has only found about 60% of my cover art (I have a lot of international discs, etc.), and of what it does find maybe 60% is correct. So I have spent a lot of time adding artwork by either scanning in cover art or cutting and pasting from the web. I go to "Get Info" and check the artwork tab all the time to make sure that only artwork that is correct or that I have added is attached to each of my song files.
    However, I have noticed that there is a significant amount of my song files that, when I use cover flow view, or when I play the songs on my video iPod, the artwork that is on the artwork pane and what appears on the cover flow view don't match. Or the artwork that is in the artwork pane (and the only artwork in the get info artwork section) and what shows up on my iPod, don't match up. It is, for an OCD completist like me, rather annoying.
    As an example, I have a lot of compilation albums. I have probably 13 different albums by different artists but which all have the same name of "The Ultimate Collection". There are some tracks for each album where the artwork pane and the cover flow view artwork match, but not all of the tracks.
    I selected "group compilations when browsing", but that doesn't help. I selected all the tracks from the same album and clicked yes to whether it is a compilation, and that didn't work.
    Does anyone have a simple, QUICK solution for making the artwork I have put in the artwork pane override or force itself on the cover flow view? Horrible phrasing I know, but thank you in advance for your help!

    I had the same problem when I updated to 7.3, but I was able to fix it.
    As far as I can tell, itunes 7.3 sees all music files (in your user/itunes/music folder) with the extension .mpg as quicktime movies, not mp3's and itunes won't let you add a cover to them. The problem is that songs imported as mp3's by previous versions of iTunes were all given the extension .mpg and not .mp3 (at least on my machine). I was able to fix the problem by simply changing the .mpg to .mp3 for all of my songs. As soon as I did this, the album artwork showed up again.
    You have a few options for how you change the extension. You can right click on every file in your itunes library and select "Show In Finder" to change the file extension, or if you have many songs to fix (I had 793) you can download 'A Better Finder Rename' (search for it at www.versiontracker.com, it costs $20 to change more than 10 files at a time) which will make the changes automatically. If you are cheap you can always set up an automator work-flow to get the job done.

  • ITunes' "Sync Apps" and iPad do not match.

    Trying to figure out what my options are here (and what might have happened to cause this)...
    Currently, the "Sync Apps" box under the Apps tab in iTunes is unchecked. The image displayed of the iPad reflects the correct number and placement of apps on my iPad.
    Checking "Sync Apps" changed to a much-reduced set of apps, with placement that is WAY off.
    While I'm interested in what might have caused this, what I'm more interested in is figuring out how to get the two in sync. I can't run the risk of losing data on the iPad and, if possible, I'd prefer not to select apps one-by-one in iTunes (there are about 100 I need to sync). Any thoughts?

  • Download Interactive Report data does not match on-screen data

    Hi,
    I have a page which has a process which runs a query and returns a random % of rows from a table, and saves this into a collection.
    Then, based on the random rows, I want to select data from another table, where the rows match certain columns in the collection.
    I have created a query to select the data I want, and have it displayed in an Interactive Report region.
    The data on the screen is fine, but when I go to 'Dowload' the data to csv or excel from the Interactive report, the data is different.
    I have also created a normal report region with the same query, and when I download it from here, it works fine, so I know it has nothing to do with the query.
    Any ideas?

    Process Point: On Load - Before Regions
    Run Process: Once per page visit
    Then in the Interactive report query is something like:

    This is because of web caching. You should invalidate the page caching in the access tab of page properties or you just change the page url with a dummy paramater like this
    http://domain/portal/page?_pageid=6,1,6_11&_dad=<dad>&_schema=<schema>&1=1
    Here &1=1 is a dummy parameter
    This will invalidate the cache and the page will be refreshed.

  • Report Records are  Not matching with database(Toad,oracle )

    When iam executing one of my  report ,it fetches data  around 4000,
    when I am executing same sql in toad database or oracle , I am fetching  6000 records .
    There is 2000 records diff ,we are struggling with this issue from 4 days .
    I across verified:
    1. I enable and disabled the retrieve duplicate row .. still  there is diff in records
    2. Universe:  disabled    controls Limit size of result set to
    3. even i tried creating derived table  using same sql ,still issue with report data count report

    Can you check below things -
    1) Max rows retrieved condition in Query\Data Provider properties in your report. It might be set to 4000.
    2) May be your rows retrieved are 6000, but in report it is aggregating the KPIs. Can you check what is the row count at database level if you apply Sum(KPI) + Group by.
    3) What is the difference between the query generated by BO and query you are running at DB level? esp. the where clause.
    Assuming: No record limitation is set at universe level.

    I am requesting your help to find out why our customer receivables/vendor payables aging reports total does not match our balance sheet accounts receivable/ accounts payable account for the same period.

    When you run the report with an ending/aging date in the past (like the end of last month), if you do not display BP's with zero balances, it will leave out BP's who have a zero balance AT THE TIME YOU RUN THE REPORT.  Some of them may have had a non-zero balance at the end of the month, but they will be left off anyway.  So if a customer owed money on the last day of the month and he paid it on the first of the next month, his balance will not be shown on the report if you run it even one day later.
    I feel this is a design defect in the report, but it is the system behavior.

  • After installing iOS6 on the iPad 2, iTunes will not match/Sync.

    After installing iOS6 on the iPad 2, iTunes is wiped out and will not match/Sync. Any ideas?

    I had the same problem. Ended up plugging my ipad into my computer and doing a complete restore. Once the resore was complete, i signed out and back in to the itunes store. turned off the itunes match setting and turned it back on. works fine now.
