Link Between Gr posting Date & Schedule Date

Dear All
Kindly can know which tables will help in linking grn posting date with schedule delivery date.
we are doing Po with multi schedule for each items,
and so for every item we get more than one grns.
I want to know the link how the system updates the Grn qty & open Qty .
Let me give example
Eg: For Po 4100000321 ,line item 10,
      schedules        qty
01.01.2008             30
10.05.2008             50
01.06.2008             60
Grn  date       grn Qty
11.01.2008           28
12.05.2008           52
01.06.2008           60 now by the same i just want to know  difference between the schedule date and grn date. if can link these dates with reference to any other field kindly let me know

Hi,
You can find Schedule lines in EKET table and PO GR history in EKBE,
but they can be joined only with PO & line item no. and not with schedule lien no. (becuase while doing GR in MIGO u don't refer to Schedule line  no. )

  • Query need (Today's date - schedule date) --- Important

    Hi
I have BEx report. One of the fields in this query is a date field i.e. schedule date (characteristic). I want to add up one more field in my query which will show me (today's date - schedule date). I dont know how to implement it.
    Pls let me know
    Thanks...

What about "Query date" to be used as today's date. Or do it in user exit variable in ABAP via sy-datum variable.

  • FAX Sending - Link between SOST items and PO Data

    Hi all,
We have a message type to send FAX to the vendors.
    This is tracked in SOST.
There are some FAXes which get failed and are to be tracked individually in SOST.
We need to make a report which gets all the failed PO #s.
We are not able to arrive at the db link between the items in SOST and the PO data.
Can anyone of you let us know how this can be done ?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the Replies Ramani and Monika...
I alraedy have a relation between the Accounting Doc and Billing Doc (VBRP-vbeln to BSEG-belnr).
what I am looking for is the Item wise one to one mapping.
i.e  Assume that we have 4 items in VBRP under one Billing Doc....
2 items have Similar Materials (Assume XYZ) and same Profit center (eq..MNO123)
and the Other 2 items have material (ABC) and Profit center (PQR6789).
Now these appear in Bseg as only 2 items, all the items with similar materials, profit center etc will be clubbed in Bseg (While Accounting). I.e In BSEG you will only find 2 entries for the above 4 items of VBRP.
I need to divide the data that I am getting from BSEG exactly as they are in VBRP.
Pls suggest if you know of any table where I can find this.....If not a table.., then a way to figure out the division of these BSEG items exactly as the VBRP items.

  • How to make link between xcelsius components with sap data using Web servic

    Hi all,
I have a doubt regarding connection between Xcelsius components and SAP data.
I created one Web service using Function module and made a connection between xcelsius and that web service using binding URL. It shows imput and output parameters perfectly.
But I cant get any idea as to how to connect Xcelsius components with these parameters.
    Can anybody help me out..
    please its urgent.
    Thanks,
    Simadri

Have you bound your output parameters to ranges of cells? Select the item, then click the icon to the right of the Insert In: box and select the cells.
Add a spreadsheet component to your chart and bind it to the cells, then preview the model. Do you see the data coming through?
If you do, then you can click File > Snapshot > Export Excel Data. Then close Preview mode, and import data from spreadsheet and select the sheet you just exported. This gives you real data to work with when designing the dashboard.
    Hope that helps.

  • Calculation of basic date and schedule date

I update material master from routing with CA97 to material master
work scheduling data with base quantity 1000
When MRP running, planned order for 54000 PCS is schedule with work scheduling data.
when i schedule planned order (change)
the calculation basic date & schedule date differs for 19 days
    cause basic start shift
    why is this happend?
is this cause by rounding when transforming minute from routing to days in material master?
is this because i used shift sequence and scheduling with breaks?
    some strage case again is
for base qty 1000 processing time is 0.97
for base qty 10000 processing time is 6.93
is there any solution for this case?
    please help.

    Hi,
Yes. The schedule date is generated considering your factory calender also in addition to the routing data. For eg.. Suppose if Saturday and sunday are holidays, the schedule date will be extended to 2 days.
Pl. check the  unit in your routing for the second query.
    Pl. refer the link

  • Basic Dates and Scheduled dates

    Hi Team,
What is the basic intention of having two dates ( Basic dates & Scheduled Dates) in Process/Production Order.
If we reschedule a order in APO PPDS the scheduled Dates in the Process Order ( In ECC) gets changed but not the Basic dates.
Once we Release the order then system carries out the rescheduling of the Order and the Scheduled Dates gets copied to the Basic Dates.
This creates a discrepancy between the dates appearing in MD04 and the dates appearing in Product view of APO PPDS.as MD04 always copies the Basic Dates.
What is the logic behind having this Process......?.
    Regards,
    Rajesh Satope.

    Rajesh,
A simple solution for this could be that in SAP R/3, scheduling parameters for Production orders for the Plant/ordertype combination activate "Automatic Scheduling" and also define "Adjust Basic dates". This means when ever the order is saved it would perform a scheduling and the basic date would get adjusted as per the scheduled dates.
Coming to your query on difference, generally the basic dates in R/3 are derived based on the Inhouse production time defined in the material master of the material Plus the FLOATS defined in the schedule margin key which is assigned to the material MRP view.
Scheduled dates are derived based on the operation time schedule of the order.

  • Failed to retrieve data from the database/invalid argument provided when employing link between two web services datasources

    Post Author: vpost
CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
I am trying to join information from two related web services within CR XI. I have successfully set up the web services as data sources have been able to get to the point where I get good data back. However, when I try to pull in certain fields, I get an error that says "Failed to retrieve data from the database/invalid argument provided". Here's the scenario:
The web services are structured as follows:Web Service 1 (Artist) has attributes of Artist Name and Date of Birth.Web Service 2 (CD) has attributes of CD Title and Release Date. Underneath each CD are songs, each of which have a Song Title and Artist Name.
I have defined both web services and defined a link between Artist.Artist Name and CD/Song.Artist Name. I am able to run a report with Song Title and Date of Birth that crosses web services. I am able to run another report with Song Title and CD Title that crosses the different levels in the second web service. However, if I add CD Title to the first report or Date of Birth to the second (both of which effectively force CR to employ the link between the two web services AND the CD/Song hierarchical structure in the second web service, I get the aforementioned error.
Any assistance understanding how multiple web services can be linked in this manner would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Not sure about your exact situation, but having similar problem with another application and have tracked down to security. Added user to group Domain Admin and it works fine. It appears to be accessing a subdirectory which it does not have permission to use and then times out and returns the "invalid....". Seems that once the query just over a certain size (and I'm not sure what triggers this) it needs to make use of temparory file disk, intead of ram.
I'm still trying to track down which temporary it's trying to uses - so if you have any ques.

  • Diff. between contract cash flow starting date&the 1st posting date

gusy , please if some 1 know where can i post the real estate threads don't hesitate 2 send me the link cuz i can't find it yet ...
i would like to ask also about the diffrence between contract cash flow starting date and the 1st posting date of the contract?? isn't it necessary for those 2 dates to be identical ?? because when i receive or realize cash from that contract i've to post it ..

    Hi,
the difference is quite easy to explain.
contract cash flow starting date is the date sap uses when generating the cash flow, this is used if you have contracts in sap that were created before you using sap and where you would want to see the cash flow for information reasons.
The 1st posting date of the contract is actually the date beginning of which sap will be posting the conditions.
Say your cash flow starting date is 01 January 2007 and your 1st posting date is 01. july 2007, yor cashflow will show you what would have been posted, if the contract had been handeled in sap from january through june, starting in july, it shows what is to be and what actually has been posted.
As to your question regarding a sap re-fx forum, please use your search, we are still trying to get enough people interested and there is a thread where you can sign up. Until then, feel free to post your questions in the Financials forum.

  • Difference Between Basic Date Scheduling and Lead Time Scheduling.

    Dear FRndz,
Kindly help me out the difference between the Basic Date Scheduling and Lead Time Scheduling.
    Regards,
    SRini

    Dear,
    Basic scheduling :
    1.Basic dates are calculated.
    2.Exact to day.
    3.No cap reqmts are generated.
4.Uses the inhouse production time from material master.
5.Carried out automatically during planning run.
In basic date calculation ( order start date/ order finish date ) the system always
    calculates backward scheduling.
    1. From the reqmts date the system subtracts the GR processing time to
    calculate the order fininsh date.
    2. From the order finish date the system subtracts the inhouse production time to calculate the order start date.
    3. From the order start date the system subtracts the opening period given in scheduling margin key to calculate the order opening date.
    Lead time scheduling :
    1.Exact to second
2.ie production start date /time and finish date and time are calculated.
    3. cap reqmts are generated.
    4. uses times from routing.
    5. carried out only if the scheduling mode in MD02 screen is kept with indicator 2.
From the order finish date the system subtracts the float after production to calculate the production finish date.
From the production finish date the individual operations in the routing are scheduled backwards to calculate production start date.
From the production start date the system subtracts the float before production
    to calculate order start date.

  • Difference between Posting Date & Baseline date in MIRO

    HI,
What is the difference between Posting Date & Baseline date in MIRO?
    Regards
    Chandan
    Edited by: Chandan H N on Dec 14, 2009 11:11 AM

    Dear,
    Posting Date:
    Posting Date in the Document
Date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling.
    Use
The fiscal year and the period for which an update of the accounts specified in the document or cost elements is made, are derived from the posting date.
When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
    Note
The posting date can differ from both the entry date (day of entry into the system) and the document date (day of creation of the original document).
    Baseline Date
Baseline Date for Due Date Calculation
Date to which the periods for the cash discount deadline and the due date for net payment refer. This is the case for line items in open item accounts.
For line items in G/L accounts, the item is due immediately on this date because there are no cash discount specifications.
    Procedure
During document entry for open item accounts, the date may be defaulted. For this, a terms of payment key must have been specified in the customer's/vendor's master record for which a default value is requested in the document.
The proposed date can be overwritten.
If the cash discount rates (and days) have not been entered, the baseline date for payment is the same as the due date.

    Hello
In table knvp there are link between customer and partners. These partners can be companies but also persons.
Thje personnujmber is filled in case.of a person.
Does anyone knows the links or the tables belonging to that pernr ( like the adddres, email etc.).
i do not want the functions.
    thanx in advance

    Hi,
Master data of personnel number are stored under infotype tables (table PAxxxx).
e.g. the address is stored in infotype 0006 (PA0006), while email is usually stored in infotype 0105 (PA0105)...
The key fields of those infotypes tables are mainly the personnel number, along with the validity dates and a subtype field if needed (e.g. the standard subtype for email in PA0105 is '0010')...
fyi, You can display/maintain all PA infotypes through transaction PA20/30...
