OCM SDK and OLS/VPD

Would I be able to use the Oracle Content Management SDK to build my own version of Oracle Files/Files Online/iFiles application but enforce security at the DB level (assuming all my content was labeled) instead of at the application level, using OLS. We would need to preserve the individual users identity to the DB.
Thanks,

  • Flex SDK and AIR runtime version in mobile

    Hi, guys.
I'm trying to make my first Flex mobile app.
I'm a little confused about the relationship between Flex SDK and AIR  runtime versions for mobile development.
In the "Developing Mobile Applications with ADOBE FLEX 4.6 and ADOBE FLASH BUILDER 4.6" pdf document, it says:
    "AIR requirements
Flex mobile projects and ActionScript mobile projects require AIR 2.6 or a higher version. You can run mobile projects on physical devices that support AIR 2.6 or a higher version of AIR.
You can install AIR 2.6 or a higher version only on supported Android devices that run Android 2.2 or a higher version. For the complete list of supported Android devices, see Certified Devices. Also, review the minimum system requirements to run Adobe AIR on Android devices at Mobile System Requirements.
Note: If you do not have a device that supports AIR 2.6 or a higher version of AIR, you can use Flash Builder to launch and debug mobile applications on the desktop."
So, I go and check the Certified devices in http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html and find that the minimun FLASH PLAYER version accepted by ALL devices is FP 10.1
    1. Does this mean that if I want to release an app to target ALL mobile devices, then I can only use Flex 4.5?
    2. Do support for Flash Player mean the same than support for Adobe AIR? Or the application will prompt the user to install whatever version of the AIR runtime and all of them would be supported by the device, even in the FLASH PLAYER support is for a lesser version?
    Thanks!

Thanks for your help, Flex harUI,
The first impression that comes to mind is that FP version is indeed only for the web browser plugin. Then, why does the official Flex 4.6 mobile development documentation have a link to that page that only speaks about the supported FP version in mobiles under the title "AIR requirements"??
This makes it way too confusing.
Do you know whether there is something like an equivalent matrix/list of mobile devices with their supported AIR runtime versions?  I went a great deal in trying to keep my original app under 400kb... I didn't know that in the end it would end up weighing 9.5Mb... :S
    Thanks again,

  • What's the difference between Java SDK and the Enterprise Edition?

What's the difference between Java SDK and the Enterprise Edition? Are they both free?

both r free but they are used in diffrent applications. sdk are used for simple apps that run on your computer while j2e (enterprise edition) are ment for large distributed computer systems that include servers and such. if you don't know the diffrence you probably wont need the the j2e, only the sdk.

  • Problems with stacked bar chart in Java SDK and CRDesigner

    Hi @ll,
I have an issue with the rendering of stacked bar charts through the Java SDK and the CRDesigner. unfortunately, my research in this forum and with the help of aunt google didn't lead to success.
    These are my problems:
I have a  stacked bar chart which, when datasets/stacks increase in number per bar, displays errors:
1.)  the single stacks of the bar merge together randomly and form bigger stacks with the sum of the singles. the information of  single stacks gets lost in the bar.
2.)  the total sum of all singles is bigger than the maximum value on the y-axis displays. thus, the scaling is wrong.
1.) appears in the CRDesigner as well as in the Java SDK
2.) only occurs in the Java SDK
Is there any trick to turn the random merging of slices off?
Is the false scaling a known issue and is there a bugfix/workaround?
    many thanks for all advice
    Tom

    hi folks,
i found the answer to the above problems:
when you specify the recordfields that are responsible for the change to the next stack or bar, the 'stack' fields have to be unique.
in my case i evaluated durations in msec (as stacks) from different devices (as bars). randomly i had the same durations for one device. what happens is, that CR does not notice a change and accumulates to the first stack with the same duration.
surprisingly this also seems to derange the axis scaling. fix the problem by simply using an overall unique recordfield like rownum or a formula that forms the current timestamp to text as identifier for the stacking.
    cheers

  • If I already have the android SDK and AVD installed from prior installation for eclipse do I have to

If I already have the android SDK and AVD installed from prior installation for eclipse do I have to do it again for dreamweaver if I want to develop for android ?
Also, if I'm developing for android, ipad, and iphone and I want them all to be the same can I do it by only making one site or I have to make a different site location for each?

Inquire of whom?  Apple?  Seems to me your carrier is giving you the run-around.  They are the ones who provide the service, so they should be able to tell you the plan specifics.  Get on the phone again with them and insist on an answer.

    Hi,
Wanted to know which AIR SDK and FLEX version is fully suporting the iOS6 to submit to Apple.
I found that AIR SDK 3.4 is supporting iOS6, though the code created for iOS 6 is not working correctly when build from Flash Builder 4.7 AIR SDK 3.4 FLEX SDK 4.6 .

  • How to setup older Flex SDK and AIR 1.5?

I found an older Flex app that I wanted to install.  It looks like it uses Flex 3 SDK and Adobe AIR.
How do you setup a different SDK and use a different version of AIR?  I would think the latest version of AIR would be backward compatible but it doesn't appear to be that way.  It seems that the SDK version and the AIR version must match exactly or the app won't compile.  Is this right?

    Hello,
I have to build and RIA for a Companys Intranet and i am not sure, if it is legal or possible to do so for free with the Flex SDK?
I also would like to know, whats the difference between the Free Adobe Flex SDK and the OPen Source Flex SDK? Which of those do i need to

  • Compiling a CSS into SWF without merged SDK and dynamically loading

I have a flex application that is built with the SDK merged in (for my own good reasons). This application dynamically loads a style SWF that was built without the SDK merged. Unfortunately, it seems that the loaded SWF fails to resolve its references with the SDK and gives me a 1014 run-time error.
If I merge the SDK into the CSS SWF then it works. If I set both my application and the CSS SWF to use the SDK as an RSL then it works. In short the matrix is:
    CSS SWF, SDK merged?
    Application, SDK merged?
    Works?
    Yes
    Yes
    Yes
    Yes
    No
    Yes
    No
    Yes
    No
    No
    No
    Yes
I do not want a big CSS SWF to dynamically load with all the SDK in it when I already have the SDK loaded with my application. Any help much appreciated.

    Hi,
In you rsl project properties, go to Flex Library Build Path and go to library path tab. Here you can edit your imported library. There's no need in RSL to import the libraries merge into code but external(even the Adobe libraries should be loaded as external) cause you load it already from your application project (as rsl or merge into code).
    Bye!

  • Java SDk and Java JRE?

Do I need both the Java 2 SDK and Java 2 JRE(both standard edition) in order to make Java applications? If I do, how do I get them to work together? Which do I install first? Where should I install the SDK in order for it to work with the JRE(and vice-versa)?
    Thanks all!

You need the SDK. When you install the SDK, you get the tools to develop in the language as well as the JRE to run your code. The JRE download only comes with what you need to run Java. The SDK includes the JRE.

  • Flex SDK and online emulation coding, your opinion on my project

    Hi to everybody,
I'm an actionscript developer and I've started a project 2 years ago.
Since I wanted to test dynamic bitmap generation, I started this path by coding a graphic driver that emulates some old graphic chip used in consoles.
I could see it can work very well in AS3, so thanks to Flex SDK and FDT I have coded some more complex emulators.
Llittle by little I've built some classes that emulate some more chips such as SN76489, AY-3-8910, Konami SCC, Namco, TMS9918/TMS9928 and other graphic drivers for arcade emulation.
There are few project around the web on this subject, some of them such as fMAME are done thanks to Alchemy but, mine is pure AS3 with a lot of otimization, simple code, byte code friendly structures and a lot of caching methods.
The audio has to be fixed, I still haven't find a good caching way to play the audio generated by emulated sound chips with the streaming feature of flash player. To increase quality and fidelity, I need to rise the buffer, but the delay between a graphic event and its corresponding sound rises too...
Unfortunately on some old PC and some netbook they are a little slow because they use a lot of CPU and memory. I will be very glad if you can tell me your opinin about this work and eventually your PC configuration you are playing with.
These are the four consoles/computer I've emulated:
    SEGA SC-3000/SG-1000: http://www.play-sc-3000.com
    SEGA Master System: http://www.digimorf.com/ASms
    MSX 1: http://www.digimorf.com/ASReplay_MSX
    CBS ColecoVision: http://www.digimorf.com/fcv
And these are some MAME concept based arcade games. To play with these ones you need to use te same control keys of MAME:
    - Click on monitor to focus flash player
    - 5 or 6: Insert Coin
    - 1 or 2: no. of player to start
    - Arrow keys: move
    - X, C: fire buttons 1, 2

You can set the maximum number of connections by using:
    ServerSocket server = new ServerSocket( port, backlog );
Where backlog is the number of connections at any one time. I'm not sure - but I'm guessing that the physical limit is dictated by your hardware. Once you queue is full of connections, you are right - any further connections are refused. The default number of connections is 50.

  • HFM SDK and Excel 2007

    Hi there,
is it possible to get HFM SDK working on Excel 2007 for an EPMA application?
I imported the .bas-file of the "ExtendedAnalyticsBatch"-Sample (VB6) in Excel and tried to get this work. But i cant't even import the necessary dll's.
Has anybody an idea to get this work or first of all to import the dll's? Or isn't it possible with this combination of SDK and Excel-Version?
    Google doesn't help that much.
    Thanks & best regards

    Hi,
Please refer to the Note 1240811 - Known issues with BPC and Office 2007.
    Hope it helps.

  • Photoshop CS4 SDK and 64-bit Windows

Will there be an SDK for 64-bit Windows or do we just use the CS3 SDK and compile plug-ins in x64 mode?
Does CS4 support both 32-bit plug-ins and 64-bit plug-ins when the 64-bit version of Photoshop is installed?

Well, now that Photoshop CS4 has released, we have some answers. Yes, there is an SDK at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop/sdk/. Yes, both 32-bit and 64-bit environments are supported on Vista-64. This is done by installing 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Photoshop.
    Nicely done!
