PDF Editor for Playbook

Is there an app available for the PB that will alllow you to fill out forms.  I am a salesman and a co-worker of mine has an Ipad and she can fill out all forms on her Ipad using PDF Expert.  Is there something similar to this for PB.  THanks

There is an android port of a PDF annotator called 'qPDF'.You would need to side load it.
Also, try Jotsy or Repligo.
If you need help with sideloading instructions, please say so.

What is the best pdf Editor I can get to my imac?

Old thread, but still very useful. I too looked for a pdf editor for ages and stumbled across your forum. I've gone through the same crazy search for a good PDF editing program for my macbook pro, but never found a free one that could really help.  Ended up going with PDF Editor, and it has definitely been a good move.  Pretty cheap at $49 compared to Acrobat's $450!!  Unlike Scribus and Skim, this is an actual PDF Editor that I like to use to type text into PDF documents.  I've also used it to add internal links back into my documents that didn't take when I convert word documents to PDF.  They do a free trial version so you can test it out before you buy it, and it seems to be compatible with lion and mountain lion.  Website is http://www.pdf-file-converter.com/pdf-editor-for-mac/.  Good luck!

  • Pdf editor for mac

I need a pdf editor for Mac Pro Retina & some pointers on software for creating ebook on Mac.

Currently going back to the ID file making the change and re-writing PDF---working fine, just wondering if there is a better way.
    Nope. That's the best way.
Be sure and follow Steve's instructions. It'll make life happier for you.

  • Looking for a PDF editor for Mac.

I have hundreds of PDF files that contain the combination of letters  "XX"  and I want them all to be "HH" is there an editor out there that can do this?
I tried using Pitstop, and it cannot batch anything like this.  I would like to be able to do many files at the same time.  If I have to do them one at a time, I may as well keep doing it the way I am.

Just looking for a way to make text edits in the PDF, I have found some editors for PC but having issues with PS fonts.  Yes I could change everything to open type, and then do the change, but that may bring on new problems.
    thanks

  • Anyone know of a PDF Editor for Curve 8530?

I have done some searching via my laptop, and while there are many PDF viewers, I have been unable to find a free or other version of a PDF editor (that would for instance allow me to insert UID and password in the editable field of a PDF doc) for the Curve 8530.
thanks in advance if you know about this.

I am afraid you might be out of luck, doing this on your BlackBerry device.
    Don't know of any.

  • PDF Reader and Editor for Playbook

    Hi Guys,
Hope all is well with you...
I recently bought playbook, adobe pdf reader sucks...period....I cannot find "words"...No options at all.
Whenever I read a book, I like to underline the text which I find important, also when on the middle of the page, if I need to refer another name in the document, I use "find"....Now  I am not able to do both. Also there is no app on the app world as well. So sad...
Can anyone face similar problem, Hope you guys can help me...
    Thanks
    Sincerely,
    Chandra

I downloaded yesterday Jotsy from the BB App Store (right now it is available for free).
Besides being a PDF Reader it also allows you to select a page number without scrolling to it, highlight text lines, add comments, circle text, and save these changes or undo those changes.
Jotsy comes in ‘2 slices’. You install one on your PB and the other one on your PC. When you install the PC component you need first to install java (I had to uninstall it, then installed java from java.com, and then re-installed Jotsy to get the Jotsy icon placed into the notification area of the system tray. You need this one.
Today I set-up a “cloud’” account with box.com (right now it is available for free till March 23) and now Jotsy syncs with my files in the Jotsy PC folder on my desktop and the Jotsy box folder in the “cloud”, i.e. the box.com’s server where one can store up to 5 GB of files either from your PB or smartphone (via upload from your media card folders or send your attachments from email as an email forwarded to your box account (wow)).
What does sync do? It copies files from both locations to your hidden Jotsy folder in your PB so you can work ‘Offline’ on your documents. One thing I didn’t like. I needed to upload my PB OS 2 manual to the “cloud” from my PB document folder rather than move it locally (I guess this is good for service providers). However, now I can go directly to pages I want tot go from the index without scrolling through the whole manual and make notes right there in my manual or underline text.
If this is what your are looking for click the like icon in this box. Thx, matt

  • Pdf viewer for playbook

    Hello folks,
I picked up a PB in the hopes of being able to read pdf docs on the go - that was the motivating factor.
The Adobe PDF reader included is terrible.
I tried a PDF document on an ACER 7" tablet and it opened as I expected - but on the PB - the rendering of the PDF is terrible, the PDF is blurry.
Are there any PDF readers that I can download - I am willing to pay.
    Thanks,

I have been experiencing serious issues with the pdf reader on the playbook.. the fact that its completely featureless (no search, no bookmarks, no highlighting) is almost minor compared to not being able to open pdf attachments in many cases. I'm not sure if it has to do with the encoding of the pdfs that I sometimes receive via e-mail, but they open fine on the laptop running adobe as well... I find it outrageous that a "business-class" tablet can not handle full and unlimited viewing/editing of the most commonly used document formats (this includes how remarkably featureless the docs-to-go software are). What do you do when you have your tablet with you and receive an e-mail but cant read the attachment pdf?
Is there any hope that the adobe reader is being developed, and an upgrade is in the works?
BTW I really like the PB, but these huge lacking features are causing more and more frustration as I attempt to use the device on a daily basis for the purpose that it should have.. only to find I can not Instead of android player, basic office functionality should be fixed. I read the ipad is getting an MS office suite next year?... pfff

  • PDF Editor for tablet, recomendations

Hey guys, I have been tasked to find a software to be used on either a windows or or droid device that is comparable to "pdf expert" a proprietary iso app.
    mu requirements are as follows:
-dropbox tie in to import documents from server
-basic drafting tools for drawing basic home footprints and adding texts.
-ability to work on and combine and separate documents with predefined editable fields and drop down menus.
-able to create custom folder layouts to store documents
I am in the process of evaluating any and all possible apps and devices. upon my recommendation my company will be buying 50 devices and 50 subscriptions to the selected program.
currently we are using "pdf expert" and ipad 1s. the app has upgraded beyond the functionality of the device, and after evaluating the ipad 2 we have decided the rigid functionality and the inflexiability of the ios platform is no longer workable for us. Im not interested in argueing the point. please make some recommendations of apps for droid and windows that may work for us. thank you so much!

There used to be others, all I find now is...
    https://sintraworks.com/index.php/sintraworks/pdfclerk_home
Which isn't much good since they don't sell a license anymore, might contact them, but try the demo first, I don't quite see how it works.
Their replacement PDF Nomad does NOT run on 10.5.

  • Pdf editor for ipad 2

Is there an app for editing PDF documents, like adding notes to them, and a Microsoft Office for ipad 2?

There is no actual MSO for the ipad that I know of, there are some equivalent apps, and some cloud based.
Microsoft office compatible apps and services
    Apple's iWork apps

    3rd party Microsoft equivalent apps

    Others, including cloud based
Microsoft Office Web Apps:These are versatile apps since they can be used on or off the cloud. Expect a simplified experience to the full version of Microsoft Office suite.
OnLive: Access both a degree of Windows desktop functionality and full Windows versions of Microsoft Office Suite.
CloudOn: This was one of the first solutions for iOS productivity. Syncing with Dropbox, CloudOn offers a more complete Windows desktop. The tradeoff is it also offers a more pared-down version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
rollApp: Offers Open Office programs for iOS, also utilizing Dropbox.
LogMeIn: Remotely access your home computer's desktop from your iOS device. This solution requires coordination of logins, settings, and hookups. The free version does not offer file transfer, but you can get a separate, free app for that.
Google Docs: Now featuring Google Drive for iOS, users no longer have to battle with pressing the Refresh periodically to initiate syncing. This makes collaboration much smoother, resulting in a stronger office productivity product.

  • Simple editor for pdf files!

I've tried a couple of pdf editors, for various tasks. So I wanted to pass on what I feel is a very comprhensive, easy to use program.
The program is called Infix, it's prduced by a company called iceni and it can be downloaded and used right away!
I first found it usefulness in filling out government documents. Instead of downloading the documents, printing them out, filling them out, scanning them and finally sending them, I download them into infix, fill them out and send them...it's that easy! I also found it an easy way to hight different parts of a document and printing it out, already highlighted and ready for the meeting!
So. if you want to edit pdf forms, or even write them, this is one super tool to use!

    hi,
    For this 9 points..
    great...
which editor is not a matter.. you can use even notepad..
so first you to concentrate on Programming concepts...
    Any way.
you can use editplus / textpad / or better you can use Eclipse (free)

  • Which pdf editor do you recommend?

I been searching for PDF editors for a while. As most of them have a price, I guess asking for some advice might be handy. I have seen the iAnnotate and seems to be very good, a quite expensive. $9.99. Which other do you recommend?
    Thanks
