PLEASE sort out podcasts not refreshing in store,costing me 100 subs a week

OK, Please can some sort out the problem that me and others are reportedly having with our podcasts are not updating in the store, and for me right now, it's costing me 100 listeners a week, it has been like this now for 2 weeks.
The problem right now is simply it is not updating in the iTunes store.
The cast has been going for nearly 3 years now, and never had a problem.
But I'm getting messages from a lot of people saying the latest shows are not in there.
And sure enough, go look now at cranky gamers UK, and you will see in the store, episode 91 and 92 are there, well if I tell you I uploaded episode 94 last night, episode 93 never showed up, BUT, and this is the major problem, the casts are on the host,as I downloaded but they are not showing up in store, and it's crippling me.
So PLEASE, someone sort this out, it is costing me listeners each week.
If no one can, can someone pease inform me of the proper contact details for itunes support for podcast owner problems.
This is killing me people, someone please help.

I appreciate the reply, but on a comeback..it is clear by a mere few minutes scouring these forums, what is happening to me is happening to others, and has been for a while, some with a lot more podcasts on there hosts at a time.
Yes my situation is unique in a small way, as I only have 2 shows on at a time due to space restrictions.
However, I still say something is completely off, for the simple reason, I was getting emails from listeners who have never even seen episode 93, that's over a week old now, so the delay thing doesn't work.
And to finally put another slant on it, why in 3 years next month has this NEVER happened before...in all that time, my show I upload, not only downloads right away, but more to the point...also appears in the store, ithin minutes, not days.
So like I say I appreciate your theory, but it's way off...simple facts are, in the last 2 weeks iTunes store is failing to refresh casts...not hours, not days, but in my case right here..weeks...don't forget episode 93 was put on the server a week yesterday...and is still on there....so explain just how the itunes store is...say..slow....
And as described, I'm losing listeners because of this....

    I am enjoying the new Zencast software but I really would like Creative to sort out the rewind, fast-forward and time display for audio podcasts, in time for the final version. I believe that I am not the only one experiencing problems. On my Zen Touch I cannot use the rewind or fast forward functions for podcasts, and the elapsed time displays 0.00 and no progress bar.     Same problem here, is really anoying to have to listen 20-30min again because there is not fastfoward working, also not able to see how long that show is going to be,or if its almost over, hopefully soon we'll see a final version

  • Podcast not updating in store

    I recently changed the feed url for our podcast using the <itunes:new-feed-url> tag to a different host since our other host was converting the .mp3 files to flash which messed up the album arts among other things.  The redirect is working for anyone who subscribed already and the new episodes are downloading just fine but the preview in the iTunes Music Store still only shows the podcast episodes from before the switch.  I don't know if I set the new feed url wrong or if I need to resubmit the podcast to the Music Store or what.

    Everything is correct. The Store is using the new feed, and all the episodes appear in the Store and for subscribers. There is no action you need take.

    Ok, I'm now getting really annoyed with downloading Mountain Lion. I left my Mac Book Pro - 6 month old in download mode all night and nothing! I have started again and in 5 hours about 5%!
    What is going on - Apple is this good customer service?

    It could be your Internet connection and not the Apple servers. I downloaded it again (although I already had the GM developer version) over a very slow Internet connection and it took about 3 1/2 hours. You can always pause and then resume the download - Lauchpad will let you know how your download is proceeding.

  • Why does most recent podcast not show in store

    I like to download the BBC Newspod podcast to listen to on my way home from work. The BBC upload it at 5pm GMT. I usually try and download it around 5pm EST (5 hours later). However, most days when I click on "get more episodes", I can only see the previous day's episode. However, when I check in the ITunes store on my Mac, the episode is there and ready for download. Why is the iPhone music store taking longer to update with podcasts and why is it not in sync with episodes that are available in the main iTunes store?

    they could be limiting access to shows to save bandwidth. it's not necessarily a 'problem', but it could be the way things are. try checking this with another podcast, though that isn't necessarily a problem as each podcast might have their own settings. why don't you try contacting the tech support for the people who make the podcast and ask them?

  • Will someone PLEASE sort out this confusion.

    A while ago I sent an email to BT regarding clearing up a confusion on my paperless bill. I received the following directly quoted reply which is by no means clear.
    "I have checked your account and confirm that the bill dated 11/08/11 for £30.20. The recent bill dated 12/09/11 is your other monthly bill for £42.41.
    Presently, you are on Broadband option 3 + Unlimited Anytime plan at £28.00 (inclusive VAT) per month and Line rental is on top of this, which is £13.90 (inclusive VAT) per month. So, these are your monthly charges."
    So am I paying 2 monthly payments on 2 seperate bills. Or am I paying £28 for the broadband plus the line rental fee of what appears to be approx £13 or so as ONE monthly bill combined, a total of £42.xxx a month.
    This is starting to get confusing to say the least. Because if I take what has been said by the person who replied to me I am now paying a total of what appears to be £70 odd per month for a service that stated £28+line rental for both bb and anytime calls when I clicked to start it.

    I checked and it does not appear in the Applications folder.
    I tried yesterday on an ethernet connection with a download speed of 2 Mbps but, unfortunately the connection died(It happened from the ISP end, which is out of my control) in between after which there was no trace of the download that happened for so long(till the internet connection death). 
    One more serious query which I am unable to understand. If the internet connection, dies in the midst of the download is in progress why is it so that the state does not persist and one has to restart the entire process again. Is there no solution for this?
    I tried so many times and its the same case after some amount of download it vanishes. So many unsuccessful attempts. I am ****** off now. Is it not possible to see Mavericks? Why does different machines of Apple behave differently? Somewhere it goes smoothly and somewhere like my mine. Why did not Apple release a non apple store version? Is this not a bad sign of letting the users struggle when something is being offered for free?
    The reason I asked as whether we can download the .app of Mavericks is that, there are so many applications that I have downloaded web and have installed. All that works fine. Can't we do the same here? You download a copy of Mavericks installer application and upload it for me in Google drive or like online storage places which can be downloaded and used by me? Help me understand.

    Can anyone tell me, if the warranty period on my laptop has not passed, can i return my laptop to toshiba and have all my issues sorted out.     Software issues are not covered by warranty!
    This means that you will have to pay for everything if the ASP technician would not find any problems!
    This is why you should recover the notebook in order to check if its only a software related issue.

    Reinstall the VAP (value added package) and flash cards utility

    This is not a bug or hardware problem. You will notice this CPU behavior because the CPU supports an feature which helps to save the power and reduce the heat dissipation

    Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
    I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer.  Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected.  It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
    If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated.

    The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great steps to review for issues with the Podcasts app for iOS:

    Default settings: From your Home screen, tap Settings and then Podcasts. These settings are shared by all of your podcast subscriptions. These are known as default podcast settings.
    Refresh Every: You can choose how often your iOS device checks for new episodes to your subscriptions. It's set to check every six hours by default.
    Limit Episodes: You can pick how many episodes you see for subscriptions.
    Download Episodes: The latest episodes of your podcasts will download automatically if your iOS device is connected to Wi-Fi.
    Delete Played Episodes: If this is turned on, episodes will delete 24 hours after you finish playing them.
    Use Cellular Data: If your iOS device has a cellular connection, you can allow downloads to use cellular data when Wi-Fi isn't available. This is off by default. Downloads using cellular data are limited to 100MB per episode. If an episode is larger than that, it won't start downloading until you're connected to Wi-Fi.
    Podcast-specific settings: The second place you'll find subscription settings is within the Podcasts app. Tap a podcast subscription under My Podcasts and pull down with one finger to reveal the settings buttons. These settings are unique to each subscription. If you don't change anything here, the podcast subscription will just use the default settings. If you do make changes to a specific subscription’s settings, they'll only apply to that podcast.
    Play: This setting lets you change the order in which a subscription plays. If you're listening to a news style podcast, you may want to set this to play the new episodes first. If the series is more episodic, you may prefer to play oldest to newest.
    Sort Order: This changes the sort order of episodes that appear for a podcast (not its playback order).
    Subscribed: When this is on, new episodes of this podcast will be marked as unplayed as they become available.

    I just read this solution, tried it & now it's working...
    I think I found a fix...I went to Settings, iTunes & App Stores, then click on your Apple ID...view Apple ID...change country region to USA (even though it was already USA...just do it again...go through the steps making sure the United States store is selected...agree to the Terms of Service, THEN I think what the key is is to RE-auhorize your credit card...in my case all I had to do was enter the security code...and it worked...I am now able to download the YouTube app for example...couldn't do it before.
