Query Notification fail with unhandled exception (orageneric11.dll) error

Please help
trying to run "Continuous Query Notification Example" from
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28395/oci10new.htm
(after some modifications example launchs and begin "waiting for Notifications")
then i make changes in oracle table "test_table" which "myCallback" listens.
After commit changes in table programm get notify about this changes and call function "myCallback"
Then myCallback call function "processQueryChanges" which
fail programm with exception in debug:

Yes, I have imported all the transports and all of they are success. I am able to use SAP authentication and able to create connection and retrive all InfoCubes and Quries also. Error is only when i select the query to create universe.
As i understand from the erros shown is , in the server some graphis card or driver is missing.
Moreever, I am looking for loging into the Desinger using SAP authentication from Client machine. For SAP authentication, i should install Integration Kit in client machine.( corect me if i am wrong ). To install Integration KiT , it is asking Crystol report server in desktop before integration kit.
Does it require ?

On your C drive, under Program Files>SAP MDME 5.5>Import Manager is the first place to start- Import manager log is an XML document created, and shows the steps import manager went through before it failed. It could give some ideas about the cause. Other than that, I have seen that not setting key mapping accurately can cause this exception.

ARV_BC_XMB_DEL Fails With Raise Exception

Hi All,
 I have scheduled the archiving job in PI 7.0 through sxmb_adm -> Schedule Archiving.
 After scheduling I can see two jobs successfully released
 1. ARV_BC_XMB_DEL - This job uses the program "RSXMB_DELETE_ARCHIVED_MESSAGES"
 2. ARV_BC_XMB_WRP - This uses the program "RSXMB_ARCHIVE_MESSAGES"
 The second job (which is archiving of xml messages) is running good but the First Job "ARV_BC_XMB_DEL" fails with a
 "ABAP/4 processor: RAISE_EXCEPTION."
 Both the jobs are running fine on DEV & QA systems.
 But the first job fails on Pre-Prod & Prd (which are high available systems).
 Any hints/help on why its failing with an exception on Pre-PRD & PRD ?

anyway you can disable this rule/monitor as no control from monitoring solution in that case. Or try to rewrite the same monitor...
The problem in your case is when function tries to get Max Server Memory MB by connecting to master DB, but you can replace it with performance counter like Target Server Memory (KB)...

Indexing Lotus Repository fails with an exception

Hi,
I am trying to index a lotus repository. But after indexing around 10000 documents the indexing fails with an exception.
"Crawler global_index_Telstra Technology Doc Library failed - com.sapportals.wcm.service.xcrawler.XCrawlerException: crawler task INDEXMANAGEMENT_global_index.409bc343-1a86-2710-0292-b5747d8b1241 terminated unexpectedly (retriever failure)"
Does anyone have an idea why its happening like this

Hi Prakash,
assuming your intrante sites are crawled by a crawler profile "for Web-RM" the most common things you may still need to do are:
- In the crawler parameters, Mark "Follow Links (or Redirects on Web-Sites)", if your start page(s)
- On the intranet sites, check if they use robot information that says "noindex" or "nofollow" and possibly change that
If that does not help...sorry, it's OSS again.

BPM_DATA_COLLECTION fails with (Output device "" not known) error

Hi all,
I have an issue with Output BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job in the satellite system failing with 'Output device "" not known error. Since it is collecting data for Solution Manager system why does is it trying to find an output device.
It did not fail before and now I added another key figure (custom one) which is done the same way the other custom monitors are done in "Z_BPM_ECU_COLLECTOR" report and then in /SSA/EXM program, but the collector job started to fail.
Also, for some reason there are two BPM_DATA_COLLECTION jobs, one is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 and the other is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2. _1 runs every 5 min and _2 is less frequent. They both seem to runt the same job which is /SSA/EXS. Why are there two jobs scheduled from solution manager in my satellite system?

I am experiencing this same issue in our ECC 6.0 system. We currently have ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001 applied to our system. These jobs finish successfully in SM37, but I'm seeing the same error messages in our system logs (SM21).
When I try to update the output device that is associated with these jobs, the user ID running the jobs is not valid since it's user type is Communication Data.
Does anyone know if it ok to change the user for this job? Should it be run by DDIC? I believe the jobs were created automatically when we applied ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001.

EM failed to show any charts on home screen with "Unhandled exception..."

Query Designer, Execute fails with missing iView (Portal Runtime Error)

Hi,
I have followed all steps to integrate Sap NetWeaver 2004s BI into EP. Checks done so far indicate that all is well between the EP and BI. From within the EP, I can execute the Bex Web Analyser iView and from there I can execute a query on the BI backend. From the BI backend, executing the function module RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST returns the 'BI test service' success message. SSO is working fine as no user/passwords were prompted for. From the trace file, I can see no errors appear but I do see authentication success messages. So far, so good
But, when I execute a query from within the Query Designer, it calls the browser and then errors with the following error:

Looking at the trace file, all it tells me is the same, that this iView is not found.
If I logon to the portal and have a look at the iViews within the 'platform-add-ons/bi' folder, I can see the following 4 iViews:
BEx Broadcaster (com.sap.ip.bi.bexbroadcaster)
BEx Portfolio (com.sap.ip.bi.bexportfolio)
BEx Web Analyser (com.sap.ip.bi.bexwebanalyzer)
My Portfolio (com.sap.ip.bi.myportfolio)
I cannot find the missing iView (com.sap.ip.bi.bex).
Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions. Here is what happened:
1. I have run the deploy and change template again (BIPostInstall). Step 10 failed but I am not too concerned as it does appear that SSO is working both directions. Also, step 13 failed which is the 'Configure Repository Manager'. The error I got here was USER_AUTH_FAILED: User account for logonid "" not found. I am not sure where it is getting the blank userid from.
2. The 'com.sap.ip.bi.business_explorer_showcase' role suggestion looked very promising. I found some doco on it and it does mention this role and when assigned, then you see the Business Explorer tab. I assigned it to all users and to all groups. When I went back into the portal, sure enough, the Business Explorer tab was visible. From within there, I could run query which all worked fine.
BUT, when executing a query from within the BEx Query Designer, I still got the same error:

Do you know if this is an actual iView that should exist in the portal content ? If you have this working, can you see this iView in the portal?
3. I had a look at this note (872043) but I could not get the sap download manager to work to get the zip files attached to the note download. If you have it still, could you email it to me ([email protected]) and I will try that. Did you apply the zip file?
I can't find any further trace information on why this missing iView error is happening. I've amended the severity level on the areas which a SAP note detailed but the only information I get is that a missing iView was called.
Function module RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST still works fine and I can execute a query from the Web BEx Analyser iView.
I just can't execute a query from the BEx query designer due to the missing iView.
I don't know whether it is a communication problem even though SSO both directions seem to work OR whether I do have some content missing from my portal.

Upgradebootstrap has failed with unknown exception

I'm stumped. Running SharePoint 2013 over Hyper-V with the following topology:
1 Database server
3 Application/WFE servers (1 for Central Admin, some BI stuff, 1 for Search, 1 for Project Server)
It's a very basic test farm, running 2013 with SP1, only one site collection on port 80. Trying to set up Project Server on a separate server from the rest of my test farm. Installed Project Server, no problems. Got the "Failed to
initiate the upgrade sequence" error. Discovered I needed to install Project Server SP1 so did that, no problems. Still getting the error. The logs give me nothing to do on, other that there's an SPUpgradeException error thrown, that's
all.
Anybody know what to do next? Thanks

Tried that. Now the upgrade wizard won't run at all. It says that the other two servers are missing the Microsoft Project Server 2013 installs altogether. I tried reinstalling them without success (because they are already there, according
to the installer). I then uninstalled Project Server on the Search and Project server boxes and ran the upgrade on the Central Admin box, which then surprisingly worked - except it left Central Admin off so I restarted that. Somehow, along the
way, both of the other boxes were removed from the farm. Then I tried reinstalling Project Server on the Project Server box along with SP1 and reran the wizard but the wizard acted as if the box had never been on the farm so it did a complete "Add
me to the farm" configuration but it DID work. Next I added the Search server and the same thing happened, had to re-add it to the farm but it worked too. I'll have to tweak my search service to get it running on the search server again, but
otherwise everything looks as it should, including, shockingly enough, Project Server.
(Here's an interesting error - at one point I ran the wizard, got a "can't locate master database error", clicked on Advanced Settings button and got an unhandled exception crash - I think it might have been a timeout error originally).
The key takeaway for me is you have to use all the exact same components (OS, installs and patches) when adding servers AND always apply in the order you added them or you are just asking for a resume-updating moment. Just glad I got to learn this
on a test platform. SharePoint is the "SharePointiest" piece of software I have ever run across.

I have integrated 11.1.1.6 OID with Active Directory 2008 and OAM 11.1.2
I have configured synchronization profile using EM interface.
Both domain rules and mapping rules look all good and status ok.
Bootstrap of users from AD to OID worked fine.
For password authentication, I have configured the plugin using ODSM interface.
While running the ldapcompare command to invoke the plugin, it is failing with :

I can see the orcladobject objectclass exist for the user sraj. Also the orclsouceobjectdn matches with that in AD. checked this using dsquery.
Telnet to AD port 389 works from OID server
I have checked on note 395186.1 and the error matches but all solution did not work.
Any help will be appreciated to get the plugin working.

This issue is resolved now. I was using the wrong DN for the user while running the ldapcompare command.
In the ldapcompare command, I changed -b "cn=Sudeep Raj,cn=users,dc=subhajit,dc=com" and then it worked fine.

TopLink UOW commit fails with no exception

I have a simple toplink example trying to insert a record into a simple table with no relationships when an error in our application is thrown. The code will work for a seemingly random amount of transactions then it will stop working. Looking at the logs it appears that toplink has completed successfully, and the insert statement that was generated is fine but the new record is not in the database. Also if we look at the toplink model object the primary key field has been populated with the correct sequence number (we have setup toplink to use the Oracle sequences). To get it to work again I either need to stop and restart OC4J or if I can get toplink to throw an error (like inserted value to large for column) things start to work again plus the records that did not seem to get committed before get committed with the next successful uow.commit(). But if we choose the option of restarting OC4J then the records that were not committed are completely lost.

Having problem with svchost.exe/ntdll.dll errors causing GPSVC (Group Policy Client) to crash preventing users from logging into the server.

Recently (within the past 2 weeks) I have noticed a few of our servers will have problems with the svchost.exe application causing the GPSVC (Group Policy Client) to crash. The only fix at that point is to reboot the server since the GPSVC service is tied
to svchost.exe and therefore is protected from being manually restarted.

All of our servers are running Server 2008 R2 Enterprise where we use Citrix to deliver desktop sessions to our users, but some are virtual and some are physical. This seemingly impacts our virtual machines more, and our VMs are hosted through VMWare, however,

I've searched and cannot seem to find any information as to what may be causing this, or even really where to start. Would someone be able to help me identify what might be causing this event, specific with the Exception code: 0xc0000024, which causes
the Group Policy Client service to stop?

You still out there looking at things? If so I have an update. The issue hasn't stopped, even though it did seemingly die down for awhile, however, it is now back with a vengeance.
I am able to force it to happen by killing the svchost process that is hosting GPSVC. If I run gpupdate /force, then logout/login it does get GPSVC running again. Furthermore, if I simply start svchost again via the Task Manager GPSVC starts running again.
When I access the server remotely with KVM it acts just like it does as if I'm logging into it via Citrix/RDP which for Admin IDs gives an error saying "Failed to connect to a windows service. Windows could not connect to the Group Policy Client service...",
however, normal user accounts just get a message when logging into the server "The Group Policy Client Service Failed the Logon. Access is denied."
I haven't opened a case with Microsoft yet, but we about ready to because of the increase in these errors.
If you have any further suggestions that would be great, otherwise I'll provide an update once I get word back from Microsoft.
**EDIT -- apparently I mistook the the server's SCM's actions as my own. I was able to successfully crash the GPSVC service by killing the hosting svchost process, however, after I crashed it and let it sit crashed for awhile when I attempted
to restart either by starting a svchost task, or running gpupdate /force it failed. Either that, or there is a timing issue where if we don't restart the svchost process, or run gpupdate /force quickly enough it won't be able to recover without a reboot.

Userform controls disappearing in Word 2013/Windows 8.1 with High-Res display - DLL error?

I have a .dotm file with a large number of modules and userforms. Creating new documents from the template works fine on almost every computer I've tested it on (hundreds), but I've run into a setup that fails consistently.
Two different Samsung ATIV 9's with a high res display and Windows 8 (64bit)/Office 2013 show the same problem:
When opening a new document based on the template for the first time, it works fine. If I open the VB editor, everything looks normal, userforms are intact.
On the second and all consecutive attempts, it throws a "Type Mismatch" error. Opening the VB Editor, I get a compile error on lines of code referencing components of the first userform (alphabetically). Opening that userform, it shows only a blank
multi-page control, and all the other controls are missing - hence the new compile errors on controls that used to exist. If I remove that userform and save the file, the project compiles, but opening a new document from the template will result in "Word
has stopped working..."
I can actually reproduce this behavior starting from scratch - new blank document, save as a .dotm. Create a new userform and add a multipage control. Clicking any control in the toolbox to add it to the form will result in a "Type Mismatch" error,
even though there's no VBA code. I can then successfully add the control to the form. But, once I save and reopen the template, the multi-page control is blank, and the other controls I put on it disappear.
I at one point got an error from the VB Editor that it "could not open macro storage" and the included help suggested that might be due to an incorrect version of vbe7.dll.
The only copy of vbe7.dll I could find was at:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\vfs\ProgramFilesCommonX86\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA7.1
The dll version was 7.1.10.44
I tried replacing that file with a vbe7.dll file from a working computer (version 7.0.15.89 from c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\VBA\VBA7), but that just resulted in the VB editor not loading at all.
I have tried both a 32bit Click-to-run version of Office 2013, and installing off a CD with 64bit Office 2013, both had exactly the same error.
The reason I'm wondering if it's a high-DPI display related error is that googling about vbe7.dll errors, I came across this hotfix:

which claims it "Fixes various Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) issues with displays on high-DPI devices."
Neither the 32bit or 64bit installer for that hotfix would run, they said there was no affected programs installed.
My reasoning for suspecting a hardware/DLL incompatibility is this:
1) It's not the template or the VBA code, since those work elsewhere and the same behavior happens with any file with a userform
2) It's not the Office version, since both 32/64 bit, MSI and Click-to-run didn't work
3) It's not Windows 8.1, since this same template works fine on other machines
4) The first time I open the template on the affected machines, it works fine - but the template is shipped compacted and decompiled. After I open it once and then close, Word has compiled the code and corrupted it somehow, because whatever the first userform
was in the list shows up as blank.
5) It feels hardware-specific, since out of hundreds of machines, I've only seen this behavior on two of the same laptop model - seems like too much of a coincidence.
Is there any chance the VBE in Office 2013 is somehow incompatible with this hardware? If that might be the case, does anyone have any idea how I'd go about testing and/or fixing it?

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59501-60000/sp59861.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. If you see an entry for IDT HD Audio ( or very similar IDT entry ), right click the device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall. If there was no IDT entry, just proceed below.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete. Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio.

We are using TINA backup solution and windows 2003 backup is failling with VSS error.
For testing purpose we initiate a system state backup (or any file backup) with the help of windows 2003 ntbackup.exe and found it is failing with below error.

Resolution:
After getting this error we check Shadow Copy provider and writer health and fond it is fine.

Next I check Shadow Copies details from volume properties (right click on C or other drive then select properties then click on Shadow Copies Tab) and found it is showing the same error code..
From this error it is clear that the issue is inside the registry hive and due to junk hive shadow copies services not able to working properly.
For me the server have two disk we check disk signature at MBR and found the disk signature was.
Signature disk 0 : 9351912b
Signature disk 0 : FDFBE035
But at registry we found lot of nonexistance signature. Which indicate lot of junk valu inside registry.
Now how can we resolve this issue?
It is very simple just delete the registry key “volume” (registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\STORAGE\Volume”) and reboot the server it will “Volume” registry hive automatically.
Note:
When you remove registry key it is showing error unable to delete, then please right click on it select permission then take ownership and assign full permission to your login account.
Please be careful when you delete registry key because system can fully crashed if you delete or modify wrong registry key.
Your can take a backup of the registry key by exporting.
