Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version

Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.

Video chat not working, Please help.
Since upgrading to Tiger, I have tried just about everything suggested on this board to get ichat av to fully function. For months I have been trying off and on to use the AV functions of ichat. I have spent days reinstalling, clean installing, trashing plists etc... I have had success in engaging in a boring audio chats with all of the bots (appleu3testXX) but never have had luck with getting video to work. (But for some reason today i can not even audio chat with the bots, am getting insufficient bandwidth error) I can get the video preview and that is it. I get the error "Can not get video from the camera" when i attemt to connect to one of the bots. I just want to video chat with my sister halfway across the world. The error i get with her is "User failed to respond", or I failed to respond. I consider myself somewhat computer saavy, and am almost to the point of writing my own standalone application inorder to video chat with her. We do have a router (either a Cisco 828 G.SHDSL or a Cisco 805 Serial Router) at the studio to service the 50+ connections here. Our IT person has made the necessary adjustments on his end with the router. I am located in Amsterdam with about a 900 Kbps connection.

T61 Video Out not working - Please Help!!!
I just bought a new Samsung SyncMaster P2470 monitor. First time I connected it to my comp I was actually able to see my desktop on the screen but everything had a pink hue. I thought it might be the cable so without switching the display back to my laptop - I disconnected the VGA cable and swapped it for another. From that point on I have not been able to see anything on my external monitor! If I hit Function-F7 my laptop screen goes black but nothing shows up on the monitor.
I have updated the bios, reinstalled my drivers (intel mobile chip set), and scoured the web for an answer. I know it's not the monitor because I've tried it with other laptops and it works fine. I'm going crazy here because I really want to use the thing and right now it's just an expensive paper weight! Any help would be greatly appreciated!I've searched through the forum and there are a LOT of people with this same issue so I have a hard time believing that it's a hardware issue (unless every comp is supplied with a really crappy VGA port). I cannot believe there isn't a solution to this yet...

Video mirroring not working on iso 5.1.1 on iPad 1
I'm using an iPad 1 wifi and installed all possible updates (latest available for this model being iso 5.1.1).
I can use the Airplay function but this one is limited to audio - no video signal seems to be transmitted!iPad 1 is not capable of Mirroring, thorugh Airplay or otherwise.. You could perhaps Airplay from Apps with Video Output such as the videos App or the Photos App in slideshow mode.

You mean an image such as a scanned document?
If that is the case, the file doesn't contain any text for Reader Out Loud to read. In order to fix that, you would need an application such as Adobe Acrobat that does Optical Character Recognition to convert the images to actual text.
You can also try to export the file as a Word document or something else using ExportPDF which I believe offers OCR and is cheaper than Acrobat. -

I think you misunderstood the guy. The up-to-date program isn't working for a lot of people. I'm eligible for the free upgrade but it fails to recognise my serial. From what I've read, this is affecting a lot of people who purchased their computers online. Apple seems to be fixing the issue though, so my advice would be to keep trying. Alternatively, click on the manual verificaton link so they can check your order for you and send the redemption code after they do.
