SOA EM is not accessible though SOA server is up in 11g windows7

Hi
I have a issue with SOA 11g issue on windows7.
My installed versions are
WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.3.0
SOA : SOA 11.1.1.2 with latest patch - ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1
sequence of starting the server
Started weblogic admin server from C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\SOA_base_domain\bin

I am able to access the http://localhost:7001/console/ and see the servers(admin and SOA) status as
=================================
AdminServer(admin) RUNNING OK 7001
soa_server1 LocalMachine RUNNING OK 8001
=================================
When trying to access SOA em, it is showing page can't be found.
When checked SOA infra status from deployments, status is as below
soa-infra Active Warning Enterprise Application 350
Any idea what are the guideline that i should follow for bringing up the SOA infra?
Regards,
Hemanth.

Can you check whether you have any application with name "em" under 'Deployments' section on weblogic admin console? If it is there then make sure that it is in "active" state. If it is not active then restart the admin server and check again.
If you do not see any "em" application there then you might have missed including enterprise manager module while creating domain. In that situation, please refer below thread to include enterprise manager in your domain by extending it -

  • HTML5 Content not accessible on Windows Server 2008r2

    Hello,
I created a small Tutorial within Captivate that should be viewed via a Webpage, so I exported it as HTML 5. It runs fine on all browsers except:
Internet Explorer on Windows Server 2008r2. (Only the loading gif is displayed)
This seems to be a common problem ("HTML5 on Windows Server" gives me alot of google results). The solution for this is to activate "Desktop experience" on Windows server (I tried it and it worked). The thing is: we can't ask all users to install this feature.
Is there a possibility to make the HTML5 content run on these machines? Is there a setting in Captivate or something I can change in the exported files? (The Tutorial doesn't rely on multimedia to heavily, so If there is a possibility to deactivate certain functions this might help)
    Best regards
    CP
Edit: There seems to be a problem with the Audio function (Debugger says "not implemented" at "return new audio"). there is no audio in my project, but it still includes huge load of audio-related code in the CPM.js

    Hello,
I'd ask the SCORM package provider or in Microsoft's  ASP.Net forums:
    http://forums.asp.net/
As Microsoft's ASP.Net forums are on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.

  • Composite with dependency not working after soa server restart

    Hello,
I have composite application that invokes another composite application. After deploying those work fine. But after restarting soa server the one having dependency does not work any more. To soa server log I get following:

Any idea what is the problem?
Is it somehow possible to configure which composites are started first during server startup?

Yes, I did that. I'm not all that happy about this as a solution either, but it's better than making multiple copies.
We have since found out that his is a known bug and that it is fixed in some, but not all, deployments.

Oracle SOA Platform - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
    Symptoms
A SOA Project has an external reference to a Web Service or a reference to another Composite.
When the SOA Server is started, the Composite is trying to access the WSDL of it's referenced Web Service in order to load data structures. If SOA can not find the WSDL then the Composite fails to load/deploy.
Once this happens the Composite can not be started, or shutdown, from Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control Application.

Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.]
javax.wsdl.WSDLException: WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Error reading import of oramds
    Cause
When SOA Server is restarting the Composite can not access the WSDL of it's referenced Web Service (it is not available).
In the first scenario there are two Composites on the same server: CompositeA and CompositeB.
In SOA Suite 11g there is no possibility to specify the load order for the composites. If CompositeA references CompositeB and if CompositeA is firstly loaded then it can not access the WSDL from CompositeB and the issue occurs.
In the second situation there is one Composite on the server (CompositeA) which references an external WebService (ExternalWS). If the ExternalWS is not available when the SOA Server is starting then this issue occurs.
    Solution
    Solution 1
Redeploy the affected Composite into the SOA Server.
You can do that but it is not advisable in a production environment and in a development environment it will take a lot of time to redeploy the composite manually
    Solution 2
Copy the abstract WSDL locally into the project.
This is documented in these articles in our Knowledge base:
    •     Document:1155033.1 Node Restart Cause Composites To Become Unavailable. Response: '503: Service Unavailable'
    •     Document:1151973.1 Boot Order Of The Composites Upon Soa Suite Restart
    Steps:
o     a. Copy and use the WSDL file in the Project
o     b. Edit the WebService Adapter
o     c. Change the "WSDL URL" to point to the WSDL copied into the project
    o     d. Redeploy the Project
o     e. Make this configuration with all the Projects that have a references with other Web Services
    Solution 3
Use shared artifacts in Metadata Service (MDS). A WSDL used by more than one composite is a shared artifact per definition. If the WSDL structure is changed (that is not happening frequently in a production environment), you will normally deploy a composite with a new version because overwriting it will break your production environment. Moreover, in a development environment you will need a proper process in place where different developers access the same artifacts within MDS. In addition, when you use external WSDLs (owned by third parties), you will have a proper process/agreement in place to be notified about modifications affecting your applications.
    1.     In order to use shared artifacts a MDS connection must be configured in jDeveloper:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#SOASE85488
    2.     Deploy the shared artifacts:
o     a. Create a JAR profile and include the artifacts to share
o     b. Create a SOA bundle that includes the JAR profile
o     c. Deploy the SOA bundle to the application server
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#SOASE85472
If the shared artifacts (WSDLs) needed are from other composites this step can be skipped
    3.     Create a new WebService
o     a. When completing the "WSDL URL" click on "Find existing WSDL's"
    o     b. Select "Resource Palette"
    o     c. Go to the SOA-MDS
o     d. Select a WSDL from a Composite or the one deployed at step 2.
    Known Restriction 1
The port and the location for the WSDL reference is not completed automatically by jDeveloper in the composite.xml file. This information must be inserted manually. In Bug:10287325 is raised this issue and it is available for SOA 11gPS2+.
    Known Restriction 2
Another issue regarding MDS caching is raised in Bug:10218147 - the MDS cache is not refreshed when an artifact is deployed or deleted.
In order to refresh this cache the server must be restarted. This Bug resolves the issue but in a production environment the server restart will be the preferred option. The reason for that is because in a production environment you never deploy single composites under the same version after artifacts (WSDLs) have been modified.
The fix for the Bug:10218147 can be an acceptable solution in development environment where redeployment would be quicker than restarting the server.
Bug:10218147 is available for SOA 11gPS2+.
To find out more information about how to use Shared Metadata check the following documentation:
Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite 11g

    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#CACFEAJJ
    Solution 4
The last solution is to use an UDDI (Universal Description Discovery and Integration).
Oracle recommends Oracle Service Registry 11g (OSR). The advantage is that you can use OSR and SOA Suite in a Shared WebLogic Domain.

Abstract: WHEN SOA SERVER IS RESTARTED, SOME SOA COMPOSITES COULD NOT LOAD/BE DEPLOYED
    Detailed Problem Description
    ====================
When a SOA composite get dependencies with other SOA composites located on the same server, if the dependency is still not loaded, the SOA composite will not be loaded, and there is no possibilities for Entreprise Manager console to restart it (EM crash). The only way to make it working is to redeployed the SOA composite from jDeveloper that is not acceptable in a production environment.
The composite that has the issue cannot be start-up or shut-down, although the Enterprise Manager do not show any errors with it.

  • Oc4jadmin not working for application server control in SOA suite 10.1.3.1.

    Hi,
We have installed the SOA suite, and I can login to the various components using oc4jadmin/password (bpel, esb, rules author), but for some reason that oc4jadmin password is not working for Application Server Control, which is the only piece of this I really need to log in to.
Any thoughts on what is going wrong?
    Cheers,
    Pat Rock

Maybe you change this password internally for another application (such BPEL, WSM,etc) and didn't make change for your main OC4J container.
You can try to change this password by...
    1. Open the file [OASHome]\j2ee\home\config\system-jazn-data.xml
    2. Find the section that looks like this
    [user]
    [name]oc4jadmin[name]
    [display-name]OC4J Administrator[display-name]
    [guid]88836370D11611DC9F30F9C1CD6F1A73[guid]
    [description]OC4J Administrator[description]
    [credentials]{903}F+iG1A46edXG9RdfY0pD2O4Ge/qyEjsg[credentials]
    [user]
    3. Replace the value separated by the "Credentials" starting and ending tags with your new desired password, prefixed with an exclamation point
    Example:
    [user]
    [name]oc4jadmin[name]
    [display-name]OC4J Administrator[display-name]
    [guid]88836370D11611DC9F30F9C1CD6F1A73[guid]
    [description]OC4J Administrator[description]
    [credentials]!newpassword[credentials]
    [user]
    4. Save the file and restart OAS
This should not affect other applications.
    Greetings.

  • Facing issue in configuring soa server in local jdev 11G

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue in configuring local soa server in jdev 11G. I was trying to do the practice excercises in the local jdev and while configuring soa server followed following steps :-
    1. Configure SOA to install the Integrated OC4J Server
    a. In JDeveloper, select Tools -> Preferences, Run, and then select Integrated OC4J Server.
    b. Next, select Tools -> Configure SOA…
    c. Complete the dialog for your configuration specifying the database location and the SOA schema user name and password
    d. Use the Test button to test the database connection and then click on Ok
This will take 8-10 minutes to run and when finished will end with "Build Successful."
In the end I am getting following log file
[echo] ==Starting standalone oc4j. Check server log D:\FMW\JdevInstance\system11.1.1.0.22.47.96\o.j2ee\embedded-oc4j\log\startsoa.log.

    Hi Heidi,
Thanks a lot for your response. The solution you provided worked for me. I am able to configure SOA now and the SOAConsole is coming up properly.
One issue I am facing while deploying my application . The application is getting deployed properly but it does not show up in the console if I look at Default server console I can see this error message :-
    Incorrect db schema version.
The database schema version "11.1.6" from the database does not match the version "11.1.7" expected by the server.
The database schema for your SOA installation was not properly installed or your installation is using a database schema installed for a prior release.
The database schema currently in place has probably been configured for a previous release; please re-install the database schema and try to start the server again.
Though I have configured the database locally just like mentioned in the training material. Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
    Regards,
    Ranjana

  • Cannot deploy soa app from jdev, cannot find soa server

I installed/configured weblogic server, SOA, OSB, BAM. I started admin server, I created a managed server for soa: soa_server1, and started the managed server successfully. I opened weblogic console and see soa_server1 is running. I started EM, and see soa_server1 is running, and see the following 4 nodes listed in the left pane of EM:
weblogic domain, Application deployments, metadata repositories, user messaging services, but not SOA node.
When I created a simple soa application, and tried to deploy it to the server, JDev couldn't find the SOA server; when I tried to force deploy it by click the finish button, I got the error:
No SOA configured servers found for deploying the archive file:/C:/zzzz/YY/development/JDev/mySOA/CreditCardValidation/validationForCC/deploy/sca_validationForCC_rev1.0.jar
    (oracle.tip.tools.ide.fabric.deploy.common.SOARemoteDeployer)
I followed each step of the Oracle SOA tutorial. Where should I configure SOA server? How could I fix the problem?

you should create an application server connection in your JDeveloper to deploy your composites...
you can create a new connection by going to File/New/Connections/Application Server Connection...
while deploying the composite through jdeveloper, select the application server which you have created...
If possible , bounce the servers again...It should show up...
    Thanks,

  • Human Task JSPs not deploying on SOA 10.1.3.1 production

    Hi All,
I am trying to use a custom JSP for a Human Task on SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 & JDev 10.1.3.1. It seems that the JSPs are not being deployed, or they are being deployed in the wrong place.
The error I get in the Worklist application, when I try to view a task is:
The requested URL /default/FridayMorning/1.0/HumanTask1/HumanTask1.jsp was not found on this server.
I have tried this on multiple SOA Suite server machines, one with only one domain, and one with multiple domains, and have also tried developing the project on different JDevelopers on different machines, with the same result.
I could not find the JSP registered anywhere on the AS Control. I understand they are meant to be deployed under orabpel?
The BPEL Suitcase does not contain any jsp files, and in the output directory, there is a .jsps folder which contains the java and class files that relate to the JSPs.
    To recreate:
    Open JDev
    Create a new application
    Create a new BPEL project
Drop a Human Task into the process
    Give it a name
Click on the magic wand to define the task
    Give it a name
Click on the + to add a parameter, select the payload of inputVariable
Click on the + to add someone to route to, pick a user
    Save
    Close Human Task
    Save process
In the Applications Navigator, expand the project, right click on the HumanTask folder and select Auto Generate Simple Task Form
    Save all
    Build all
    Deploy to BPEL server
Go to BPEL console, start the process
Go to BPEL worklist, select the task
    The error appears.
We have also tried using custom JSPs (instead of simple ones).
Also, I noticed that if you delete task form files from the popup menu, and then regenerate them, you only get the .tform file, no JSPs are generated.
Can anyone else verify this happens to them?
    Thanks,
    Mark Nelson

OCMS stands for Oracle Communication and Mobility Server and is basically a SIP Container embedded as a hook into OC4J 10.1.3.1. I'm using JDK 1.5.0_12-b04. Wondering if there's any other way to check configuration of the JSP compiler.

  • SOA Applicaiton is not configured in the container

I'm running the SOAHelloApp from the JDevStudio11 installation guide. The SAO Compiler indicates "Build Successful". I then go back and execute the Deploy Method A - Run (select composite.xml and select the run button) and I get a message: Cannot run the composite! SOA application is not configured in the container.
I then went back a re-ran step # 9 of installation to configure SOA to install the Integrated OC4J Server. Within these steps is the process to do the SOA Application Configuration Dialog which runs for about 7 minutes with a "Build Successful" mesage.
I then re-run the deployment method A from above and get the same message.
I setup the three environment variables as specified in the installation:
    mesage = C:\Oracle\jdevstudio1111
    JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_01
    JDEV_USER_DIR = C:\Oracle\jdevinstance
The installation guide mentions that the JDB used to create jdevstudio for windows is included in the jdevstudio1111.zip but doesn't indicate where. I wasn't sure if I need to point to somewhere within the unzipped directory for my JAVA_HOME?
Everything seems to be working correctly but I still get the error message. If someone could provide help I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks

My failure was actually in the SOA Configuration. It actually ran to "Build Successful" but when I reviewed the log file it stated that "Configuring SOA Infrastructure has FAILED" and indicated that I should check the following log files: soa-infra-java.log and startsoa.log.
However, this does not provide me with the answer to my failure. The full log has been attached below.
I changed my JAVA_HOME to be C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_01 instead of C:\Oracle\jdevstudio1111\jdk (pointing to an installed version of Java versus the version included in the unzipped jdevstuio) and it seemed to go further in the setup.
Any help to get this configured would be appreciated.

the below error message is displaying .

    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
Please can someone guide me how to resolve this.

The system cannot find the file specified
I have tried from so many forms. This is so frustrating. Thank for everyone/anyone who wants to help. So this is what happened: I had to uninstall my previous sqlserver 2012(which worked great) for some reason, and I uninstalled everything from that download.
Then I installed the trial edition of sql server 2012 (64 Bit) and It wouldn't connect to the database. (Error mentioned above.) My local DB is COWBOYS. (COWBOYS is also my computer name.) After this, I have tried downloading sqlexpress and sqlserver 64bit
many times and cannot connect to my local DB.
How do I connect to my Local DB?
Also, I think this might help: (When I run sqlserve.exe, which I was able to find in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\LocalDB\Binn, I get an error: Your SQL server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with(Error getting
instance ID from name). Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.
I would happily re install it, if it wasn't my 20th time.
I don't have any remote connections, I don't use username/password, only window authentication. I work mostly on visual studio, but without able to store /retrieve data, I don't know how to survive.
May be the solution is very simple, but I am too frustrated.
Some of the things I have tried:
From a command prompt, enter one of the following commands:
net start "SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)" OR
net start "SQL Server Agent(instancename)"(for instance)
on my sql configuration, I cannot start anything because there is nothing there to start. I can post more details, if that would help. Also, some more details about the error:

Any one that can help me, I will be greatful. Thank you so much. p.s. please ask me anything if you have any questions.

It sounds like there are a couple things going on here.  First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance.  Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error.  If you get an error, post the error message your hitting.  If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect.  If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog.  Ex:  "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name.  However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format.  Ex:  COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install.  Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

  • Site not accessible from the Load balanced web front end server - sharepoint 2010

    I have a production environment with 2 WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2), 2 APP's and 2 SQL clustered VM's.
2 WFE's are load balanced using hardware load balancer.
An A-Record(PORTAL) is created in DNS for the virtual IP of the load balancer which points to the 2 WFE's.
A web application is created on the WFE's on port 80.
alternative access mapping is configured and the load balanced record "http://PORTAL" is used under the default zone.
Under IIS I have edited the bindings for the sharepoint site at port 80 and added the HOSTNAME as PORTAL.
Result: The site is accessible from outside the server and works fine.
ISSUE: The site is not accessible within the WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2).
When I browse the site from the WFE's server it ask for the credentials and when I enter the credentials and click OK it ask the credentials again and again and in the end displays a blank page.
Kindly help me in this issue because I am clueless and couldn't find anything helpful on the internet.

  • The server was not found or was not accessible.

    I've upgraded to a Windows 8.1 machine, and installed SQL Server 2012 (version 11.0.3128.0), and SQL Server Express 2008 R2 (v 10.0.5500.0).
I've created a database in the 11.0.3128.0 instance, and populated it by restoring it from a .BAK from another server.
I've opened Visual Studio 2012, and accessed the database via the Server Explorer, with no problem.
I've copied a running web app to this same machine, and opened it in Visual Studio 2012.  But when I attempt to run in debug mode, my first attempt to access the database gives me this error:
"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.

Here's my connection string, as defined in the <connectionStrings> section of my App.Config:
