TS1702 How have I changed to US site so I can't download anything from App Store?
I can't update as I get a message that I am on the US site and need to change to UK. I have downloaded 2 apps in the last day with no trouble so am puzzled and annoyed.
Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

Simply, you can't download it.
If you want to upgrade to iphoto 11 then you'll need to either
1. Upgrade your OS to 10.7.5 - which requires a purchase of the OS
Or
2. Find an iLife 11 install disk. You may get one on Amazon or Ebay. -
I just bought a new Ipad mini a while ago, and created a new apple ID *********** , I can't download anything on apps store, it keeps on asking for a credit card but I don't have one. Can I create an account without a credit card?

It is the same for the app store. You are required to have some sort of payment method in the record.

Since I actualize my iphone 4 to ios6 I can´t download applications from app store in it they seem to by downloading but within some seconds it's like if not clicked the download button. But then I have "waiting" mode applications that I never search for.

I try to buy music to make my credit off and I can't buy coz store location are wrong.... Thiis is never ending loop !!!!!Ok, so I figured it out. I checked my iPhone and it was having the same trouble. So I went to settings (on the iPhone and iPad) selected store and logged out of the store. Then on my computer, I logged in to iTunes. I went to buy something (a free item...doesn't have to cost anything) and it prompted me to update the payment info (essentially needed to add the security code to my credit card). Then I gave it a minute or two to process...just in case. Logged back in to my iPhone and iPad and everything is back to normal.
Glad it's working, but they should really fix that issue on the mobile devices. Luckily I have iTunes on a computer, so don't have that (they only have the iPad...which they wouldn't be able to update).

Can't download Mavericks from App Store "you have updates available" error
I am running Lion which came with my iMac and it's up to date. I wanted to finally upgrade to Mavericks so I started downloading it a few days ago, but cancelled the download because it was taking so long. So today, I went to start it again and now I'm getting the error: "You have updates available for other accounts Sign in to (my account) to update applications for that account." I have no other Apple accounts. I have searched for this error here an all over the web and performed all of the suggestions: repair permissions, Spotlight, you name it, I've tried it. I even had an older Mavericks install file on an external and it just bounced and wouldn't install.
Any new suggestions?OK, I'm answering my own question here in case it will help others.
I suppose you could call it user stupidity, but I'll say it's bad user experience on the part of the App Store.
I went ahead and clicked the "Install App" button, hoping I would then have the option to just download but not (reinstall) Mavericks. That is exactly what happens.
The App Store displays a warning to the effect of:
You already have Mavericks installed on this machine. Do you want to continue and just download the installer?
You click the 'Continue' button and you're good to go. -
Every time I try to download Lion, the download, the download appears to start, but then stops, saying an error has occured, with nothing downloaded, and the App icon disappears from the dock.
Has anybody else experienced similar?same problem and precisely with the OS X lion up to date program.
I called apple but they said there's nothing they can do for now. there are many problems they are trying to resolve and one of them is the up to date program.
the only solution available they said is to wait. but they didn't specify for how long.
One would think that they'd test their solution well when they took the decision to make the OS available only though the appstore or at least offer a back up solution should people be unable to obtain it like it is the case for us. -

I have tried to change my Apple ID and was successful but when I go to the App Store my Apple ID appears as the old one. I no longer have a password for it. Now I can't download anything. What do I do?
Your apps were purchased under the old ID, so they will have to be deleted and re-purchased/downloaded under your new one.

I'm using a mid 2014 13" rmbp. I reinstall the Yosemite due to the wifi issue, when finished, the iMovie was not installed, I try to download it from app store, but it's not free. How can I get iMovie back?
It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked. -

On each film's description page in the store there should be a list of the language(s) and/or subtitles that it has on it e.g. here in the UK one of the new releases, Svengali, has listed on its description page :
If there is a particular film that you would like to buy in a particular language that is not currently available in the Swiss store then you can try requesting that it be added, but unless the Swiss rights-holder for the film agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, so you will only be able to redeem and use the Spanish gift card when you are in Spain with a Spanish billing address on your account. -

Please if anyone can help apple doesn't seem to care?If you need to reinstall Mac OS X 10.8.x (there is no 10.8.6 yet, by the way), restart your Mac, hold down the Option key so you see all the bootable partitons, and boot to the Recovery Partition. From there you can reinstall Mountain Lion. You will need a good Internet connection.

Hi I have downloaded compressor4 from Apps store but it won't open - says compressor not properly installed. The reason for my purchase was that compressor 3 stopped working. I tried to reinstall from the FCP disk but it was 'greyed out'. I followed suggestions from the apple site to clear various library files - mainly relating to Qmaster but this didn't make any difference, an iwonder igf perhaps this is the reason for the compressor 4 programme not working. Thanks
TomYou need to export a self-contained video from FCP 6. Import the self-contain video into Compressor 4.
