TS3276 error message when trying to send email

On my Apple Iphone 3G, using Rogers as a cell provider, when an email came in and I tried to reply to it, it came up with an error message " A copy of this email has been placed in your outbox. The senders (me) address "[email protected]" was rejected by the server."
I have checked all the settings and they are exactly the same as those on my computer mail settings. I can receive mail but cannot reply to this email.

First unlock your caps lock key. Typing in all caps is inappropriate in online forums (considered shouting) and is hard to read.

  • I am receiving an error message when trying to send an email.

I recently had to change my email password.  Now when trying to send or forward a message on my Iphone 4s I am receiving an error that my user name or password is incorrect.  My phone service is through AT&T and email is embargmail.com.

Where did you change the password? Did you go into the email account on your phone and change the password as well? You need to check your SMTP settings, as that is what controls sending mail. If you get an error when trying to receive mail, that is the incoming server.

  • Error Message While Trying to Send email from Mac Mail...

hello. i have been following the discussion board from some time, and finally made my first mac purchase. only 3 days old.anyways, i am trying to send mail from my .mac email account. i paid for the 1 year subscription,so i know my subscription status is still up to date. however, when trying to send an email using the Mac Mail application,i get this error..
    Error
This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
the connection to the server "smtp.mac.com" on port 25 timed out.
    can someone help me?
    my isp is: Cox
    location: Virginia, USA
just incase someone needed that. oh yes,i can also receive mail, but i just can not send any emails. i was trying to send an email to a "gmail" acct, and i also attached a 2mb pic.thank you to anyone who can assist me.

This error message indicates your ISP blocks the use of SMTP servers that are outside of their network (or not provided by the ISP) on Port 25 which is the default/common port used by SMTP servers. Some ISPs allow the use of an authenticated SMTP server only that is outside of their network (such as the .Mac SMTP server) on Port 25 but some block its use regardless.
These restrictions are in place as part of an overall effort to prevent spam emanating from the ISP's domain.
Are you also accessing an email account with the Mail.app that is provided by Cox and if so, are you able to send messages with this account?
    Something to try.
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the Account Information tab for your .Mac account preferences at the SMTP server selection, select the Server Settings button for the .Mac SMTP server.
Enter 587 in place of 25 in the Server Port field and when finished, select OK to save the changed setting.
If this doesn't resolve it and you aren't accessing your Cox email account with the Mail.app, you need to create your Cox email account in Mail or at least add Cox's SMTP server and select/use Cox's SMTP server to send messages with your .Mac account which is invisible to all recipients.

  • Receiving an Error message when trying to send an email

    Help
All of a sudden whenever I try to send an email I receive an Error message stating it cannot be delivered. The message suggests verifying addressee, checking SMTP server settings and verifying any advanced settings. I have tried different addressees, and all the information in the Mail Preferences looks accurate to me. Any ideas what could be causing this? It just started happening.
    Any info is greatly appreciated

    Hi Susan,
Many ISPs have recently started blocking outgoing (smtp) mail via port 25 that doesn't use their own smtp server. (This is to try and combat spam).
There are generally two ways to overcome this:
    1) Use the smtp server of the ISP that you are currently connected to. (If you have a laptop and connect from different places this may mean you have to select an appropriate smtp server at each location.)
    2) Connect to your preferred smtp server on a port other than 25. This will depend on the setup of that server. For instance the Apple .Mac smtp server allows connections on port 587 (reference Apple support article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75124)

  • Error message when trying to retrieving emails.

    Hi,
For some time now, maybe a couple of months, every time I go to download email from my btinternet address I get the following error message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Btinternet (xxxxxxxxxx) account.
    Server Error: 0x800CCC90
    Server Response: -ERR inactivity timeout
    Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800420CD
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure(SSL): No
I am receiving my email, but usually end up with multiple copies. My email setup hasn't changed since I started using this laptop 18 months ago so I'm puzzled as to what is causing the problem.
    Anyone else experiencing this problem?
    Solved!

    Yes I'm still with BT.
My Btinternet address has always behaved differently to my other email addresses. For example, I know that I can't use it with Mailwasher. If I do, again, I would end up getting multiple emails because of email staying permanantly on the server and not being downloaded properly. But this was all sorted out when I first joined BT and has nothing to do with the current problem.
The only thing I can think of is that the problem is now being caused by Norton Internet Security when is scans incoming emails. I've fiddled with the settings and time will tell if it sorts the problem.
    Thanks for your reply Keith.
    Hi.
Indeed turn off email scanning, including for sending emails. There is no real need to have that facility, and it can cause the issues you are seeing.
The reason for multiple emails, is due to the timeout when trying to receive them. The task doesn't finish completely at the fetch "stage", so the end signal is not sent back to the server - so it thniks that  the emails have not actually been received - hence it will send them again.
As for Mailwasher - I use it wothout problem, so it sounds like NIS is causing an issue here too.

  • Error Message  when trying to "Save Email as Activity" on Outlook 2007

    Hi all,
This is a problem that we have logged with SAP, but they cannot find any reasons as to why we are having the problem. So I'm hoping someone here might be able to shed some light...
After logging onto SAP through Outlook:
When "Saving an email as Activity" using the Outlook ADDON, we get the following error message:
    AppName: bo_syncext.exe      AppVer: 8.0.0.49      ModName: bo_syncext.exe
    ModVer: 8.0.0.49      Offset: 000cc9d5
This does not seem to work on any of our computers, except one!
He is a Superuser, and he can save emails on his PC only.
I can also save the emails, if I am logged on his computer, and am set up as a Superuser. I cannot if I am not a Superuser.
He and I cannot send emails as a Superuser on my PC.
This would lead me to think that it is a problem with our PC settings (security settings?).
Has anyone else had this problem?
    Outlook version: 2007 (12.0.6514.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000)
    SAP Business One 2007.
    Many thanks
    Shaoni

    Hi
I also have the same issue.
I can save an email as an activity for only one user, this user is a super user.
If i log on to that users machine as them, then sap as a user with the issue change them to a super user it works.
However logged on to any other machine it won't work. We get the error message ;-
Outlook itegration - error signature - AppName bo_syncext.exe, AppVer 8.0.0.49  Mod Name ntdll.dll ModVer 5.1.2600.3520
Has anyone fixed this on a system ???

  • SOFFICEINTEGRATION 898 error message when trying to send excel file to

    Hi,
I am trying to send excel file from sap dp planning book using macro with document function to outlook mail.
when i am running the macro online its sending the file to my mail
but when i am scheduling a background job and executing its giving me SOFFICEINTEGRATION error 898
    can you please help?
do i need to do any setting any where
    Thanks

    Hello,
Programs that run in the background cannot address controls on the frontend. This is why you are not able to run a Program using SAP Office Integration which is a Frontend Control and can be used only with the SAP Gui. Since background process cannot make use of UI screens or actions hence it's not possible use SAP Office Integration in background processing. The reason for this is explained in note 674060. Therefore sending emails using a batch macro is not supported.
    Best regards

  • Error message when trying to send a picture message (multimedia)

I am unable to send picture messages and receive "Can't send message right now. There are too many unsent multimedia messages." I tried to upload pictures to print thru the Walgreens app, after becoming frustrated with the application I canceled the upload. I've been having trouble sending messages ever since. I've tried to clear all running applications in the Task Manager, and checked the Multimedia message limit through my Messaging Settings and increased the limit. I can't figure out how to clear the unsent multimedia messages, can anyone help? Thanks!

Was your 3G data connection active when you were trying to send the pictures?  Have you tried to send picture to yourself?  Dial *228, option 1 to reprogram the phone to the Verizon Wireless network?

  • Why am I getting error message when trying to send attachments?

I am having a time sending attachments, and most of them have been jpeg, with Safari. After a time when I push "send", I get a message that "Safari cannot open the page". It then says" "lost network connection" (NSURLerror Domain-1005")
How can I correct this, please ? Is there anything I haven't done to prevent this? I am fairly new to the Mac OSX, and still learning .....thanks !!!
This has happened when I have scanned something and then tried to send it, or just tried to send something that was downloaded from my Manager to my desktop...

I am "wired" and at home when this occurs. I actually sent some things...saved to my desktop, and attached them to a letter I sent my Sis, and she got the pictures that way. I was surprised she got them, as it still said that Safari could not open the page and then it gave me the same message about "lost network connection: INSURErrorDomain-1005.

  • Why am i getting error messages when trying to get email, why am i getting error messages when trying to get email

For the last two evening, my email has not been coming through with Comcast email.  I get error messages like unable to verify user name and password or connection to the server has timed out.  I have done a soft reset, deleted the email account and reinstalled but nothing works.

I had this same problem happen to me about 3 weeks ago or so. I'm with Rogers in Canada (iPhone 4).
Out of nowhere I started having errors with both of my email accounts on my phone (Hotmail, Gmail) which I had been using without problem since I got the phone in October 2010. I tried re-entering settings, removing and setting them up from scratch again, all to no avail. First it was Hotmail but Gmail shortly followed. I could, however, check both of these emails via a browser on a computer, so I knew those services weren't both down.
It also happened on two different wi-fi networks and with 3G.
Then as sure as it started, it ended. It was after about 6-10 days that all my email returned to normal.
If you've only had it happen for a few days now, I'd give it maybe another week and see if it goes away. I know this isn't a fix, and I was never able to find an explanation for the problem.
