Unable to export BPM Project

I'm on Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 and have installed the plugin bpm-jdev-extension.zip and have successfully created a BPMN process. I've been able to deploy the composite and it works great.
However, I'd like to be able to export the project in Jdeveloper. When I go to the export option, the only item I see is "UML as XMI".
It doesn't give me the option to export the BPM project.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
I am little bit confused. What exactly do you want to Export. Like your entire application to some other machine. Or you want to deploy this application on some other soa/bpm domain. If so, then you need to get JAR for your workflow project and EAR for all the rest of the things. Incase if you already deployed this once to any domain, then under your application root folder/deploy folder, look for any EAR or JARs. Just take those and deploy to any other soa domain. Generally under your workflow project also you should see a folder named deploy and under this see a workflow jar sca_MyProcess_rev1.0.jar. While deploying if you choose option to include all taskdetails also in the same jar, you will have only one deployment file. Just take this and deploy to any other soa domain.
If you want to export the source code itself, you can copy the entire application folder and move to any other jdeveloper folder or other machine.
For any application/project in JDeveloper, you can go to properties for that -> Deployments -> and create any new Deployments you want like JAR, EAR, WARs etc.
Thanks

  • Unable to Export iMovie project in everyway I have attempted for the past 2 weeks. Please Help! Due date coming up!

I've unable to Export iMovie project in everyway I have attempted for the past 2 weeks.I have a late 2012 iMac with 8gb of RAM and 700 gb of free space on the hard drive. The video I am trying to export is 48 mins long with most of the source footage from a NIkon D3100 and several other cammcorders. I've been exporting with Apple Intermediate codec because that was the only one that has work so far but it only worked once and since then I have had to make changes to the project and now I'm unable to get it to work. For all Quicktime exports in H.264 or AIC (my prefered format for this export since I figured it'd offer the highest quality when I import it into Encore for making a dvd out of it) Which just stops exporting in the last few minutes without explination as to why or it crashes and quits. It either leaves a partial file or nothing at all. When I do "export movie" I get a "not enough memory Heap zone error"
I don't know what to do any help would be greatly appreciated!
By the way I happen to have Adobe CS6 Production Premium but didn't know how to use it as well when starting the project and now really regret not using it because it appears to be 10x more stable and capable of handling all the tasks I want it to do.

Are your event clips in h.264? If so, you can solve this by Right clicking on your Event Name and choose "Optimize Media". You can choose Full for 1080P or Large for 960P according to your preference.
After you have optimized your Event, you should be able to Share with no problem.

-108 mean you are running out of (free) RAM.
Try restarting the computer just prior to sharing. That frees up RAM.

Ok - after much cutting, trial and error and days of work I have never really established a root cause for the -108 error. Nothing I did resolved the issue to the orginal project.
The only work around I have found is to split the Original Project into two.
What I found was that anything around the 60 mins mark and above just failed to render in HD and showed the -108 error.
What worked for me was creating two project files - one around 57mins long - the other a part 2 - around 17 mins long. All using exactly the same source clips, photo's, music and transitions as the orginal.
This now works. I guess having it split in two makes it a little easier to work with as I wont have to keep rendering the first part which does not change but really wish Apple would throw some light on this.
Anyway - I hope all of the above at least proves useful for others.
    Good Luck

  • Unable to deploy BPM projects with human tasks from BPC

I’m trying to edit and deploy a BPM process from Business Process Composer (web based tool). To do it, I followed the steps below:
    1.     I created I project in JDeveloper
    2.     I created the Human task from using the “Auto-generate task form” option
    3.     I converted it to a template
    4.     I published it to BPM MDS
    5.     On Business Process Composer I created I new project based on my published template
    6.     And I finally I deployed it with no errors.
When I ran the BPM it creates I human task but I’m not able to access its form on Business Process Workspace.
On Business Process Workspace I can see the task created by my BPM process, but when I click on it to access its form I get a 404 message (message below).
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
I think this error occur because my Task form project was not deployed. To fix it I undeployed all the applications and then I deployed the BPM application with all its tasks forms from JDeveloper. It worked fine (I can actually access the task form on Business Process Workspace), but now I’m not able to edit the BPM process on Business Process Composer anymore.
Then I finally repeated the steps 3 to 6 on top of this post in order to make the BMP process editable on Business Process Workspace but this time I receive the error at the end of this post taken from server log.
No matters if I publish the project on MDS BMP repository as a template project or as non template project. I always have the same problem.
So, how can I use a BPM project that contains Human Tasks forms on Business Process Composer?

I came across the same issue, and now resolved it like this.
Firstly, you shouldn't deploy QuoteProcessLab with other UILabs like ApproveDealUILab and so on. So, if you already did it, then go to Weblogic EM and undeploy it.
Secondly, you should deploy each of UILab separately as standalone application. So, deploy EnterQuiteUILab, BUsinessPracticesUILab, and so on each. These will run independently behind and when your project created based on template in the Composer runs, it will link each of these on human task.
Thirdly, publish you QuoteProcessLab. And follow the book about how to create a project based on template in the Composer.
Just one thing you should be careful with is, when you do auto-generation for human task, it sometimes doesn't work fully, unfinished halfway through. So, make sure that the icon 'go to existing business form taskflow' in .task file takes you to the human taskflow.
If it fails, do another auto-generation. Sometimes DataBindings.cpx can get corrupted by JDev, but let's not go too far for now.
    Mostly, it will work.

    Ruchik,
The workbench should never throw this type of exception. This is rare and we would like to determine exactly what lead to this situation so we can quickly address it. If possible can you please open a service request with support to get issues like this reproduced.

  • Unable to export project

Regardless of what hard drive I specify, when I try to export my project I get a message that says the following:
    Could Not Create File
The export file could not be created. This may have occurred because there is insufficient disk space, or there might be a problem with the directory permissions.
Yesterday I had no problem exporting this project. Any ideas? I've restarted my computer and still I get that message.
    Thanks,
    John Link

I found this solution here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7087866
It appears that, at least in my case, there are rules to the symbols you can use in your track title. Hope this helps anyone else coming along. It would be nice for the error message to be a little more specific, or even accurate! LOL.

  • How to generate a project report for a BPM project in Oracle Jdeveloper 11g

    Hi,
Till Oracle 10g we can generate a project report by right clicking on project name in BPM studio project navigator.
Is this facility available with Jdeveloper 11g for BPM project as I am not able to generate the report.
If this is possible than please let me know how can i generate.
    Thanks
    GG

    Hi there,
I would also like to know when the Project Report functionality will be available for 11g.
My client have several BA's who are crying out for documentation and exported diagrams, which are exactly what the Project Report features provided.
Any ideas if it will come back?
    Cheers,

  • Error while saving BPM Project to MDS: BPM-70801 : Metadata operation failed

    Dear All,
I am working on BPM 11g.
I installed the following products for BPM 11g
OS: Windows 7 SP1 Professional Edition all with 32 bit
    Installed s/w:
        JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 Generic Version
        OracleXE 11.2 Win32
        ofm soa generic 11.1.1.6.0
        wls 10.3.5
        RCU 11.1.1.6 for schemas dev_soainfra, dev_sdpm and dev_mds  - Utility run successfully.
Overall Installation is successful wth no issues.
Configuration of Weblogic server for domain is ok with admin server, soa_server1 and bam_server1 with test connections is ok.
I am using browser as Internet Explorer 9
In Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 after creating application, project and process
From BPM MDS Navigator I configured the connection for Database 11g XE as well using
    Override Application Server user/password
For SOA MDS I included the dev_mds user with MDS partition as obpm
tested connections all ok (weblogic and soa_server1 up and running)
In Jdeveloper I am able to export the BPM successfully.
In the BPM Project Navigator when I use the Project --> SalesQuote.jpr --> right clicking with
option as  Save to BPM MDS the following error is occured as
"Error while saving BPM Project to MDS: BPM-70801 : Metadata operation failed".
If the error is resolved than I can see the project in BPM composer.
My queries on this error are
    1) Has soa_server anything to do with this error
    2) Is dev_mds schema to be reviewed
what can be the possibility to resolve the BPM-70801 error.
Please provide the solution ASAP or send me the reply to my  [email protected]
    Regards
    Ajaz Ahmed

    Hello Ajaz,
BPM-70801 is a very generic error that can have multiple causes. Please provide the error log from servers log file. From what I understand, you are using a separate soa_server1, so watch out /your_domain/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa_server1.log

  • BPM project always breaks my NWDS Workspace

    Hi All,
i am very sure this is because of the buggy NWDS, but how to avoid it or walkaround?
this is what happens to me:
i create a bpm project in process composer perspective, add web dynpro components dependency, do output input mapping, use a wsdl on the "Start" to trigger the process(a separate web dynpro page will call this wsdl) .
the problem is, every time i close nwds, and open it again, the project breaks my workspace, it can not open the project any more. i have to create another workspace, copy the process's dc into the new workspace, create project from development perspective, and then work on it.
imo, creating a new workspace again when i open nwds is not a walkaround. can anyone give me some hints on this?
or let me know how to upgrade the process composer perspective, i tried to download the SP5 version of NWDS, but looks like the process composer perspective is not there.
    thanks in advance.

    Regards,

I've noticed similar issues when working with 12c Composer's PAM as the sharing mechanism.
If you can, bring your project up in Oracle BPM Studio and then export it as an .exp file.  You should then be able to import it back into Composer.

  • Flash Builder 4 for Mac: Unable to export a release build

    Hi
I've been unable to export release builds of any AIR projects when using a Mac installation of Flash Builder 4. I can run the AIR apps within the IDE, but I keep getting the following error when exporting: "One or more errors were found while trying to build the release version. Unable to export."
The weird thing is that I can export the exact same AIR projects using my Windows 7 copy of FB4 just fine, without any errors.
    Details of the Mac installation:
    OSX 10.5.8
    Flash Builder 4 plug-in version, v4.0.1, on Eclipse v3.4.2
I performed a fresh install of FB4 today (before anyone suggests it ) but to no avail.
The error log - I wasn't sure what to copy, so just took everything that had the right time entry:

    Hi Chris
    Thanks for your reply.
I had already seen that post, and the answers were not applicable to me. But thankfully I have found the solution now!
I Googled the error message: "org.apache.xerces.dom.DeferredElementImpl.getTextContent()Ljava/lang/ String", and came across the following bug report:
    http://code.google.com/p/alkwarel/issues/detail?id=10
As suggested in the link above, I deleted the xerces.jar  located in user.home/Library/Java/Extensions/. I then cleaned my project, and FB4 for Mac finally exported the release build!
That bug has been annoying me for MONTHS. I'm so happy it's fixed now!
    All the best,
    Zabeen

  • Error Deploying and Publishing a New BPM Project

I'm trying to Deploying and Publishing a New BPM Project (based on http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/config_guide/index.html), but the following error:
The size of the attachment exceeds the limit of 10000000 bytes
    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Hi,
There are two options (radio buttons) when you publish and deploy. Right now you are probably picking the second option (to publish and deploy the exported project from Studio).
Try it again using the first option. I haven't had to do it in a while, but using this you should be able to point the Process Admin tool to your project's directory directly and not your export file.
    See if that helps,
    Dan

  • I can not export a project to roll the camera

I can not export a project to roll the camera displays a message "an error occurred in exporting"

    Hi wishborne,
I'm here to help! Are you unable to log in to ExportPDF, or unable to convert files once you're logged in? I tried to check your order history, but don't see any orders under the email address that you use here. Did you perhaps sign up using a different email address, or sign up via Adobe Reader?
I look forward to hearing back from you. We will get to the bottom of this.
    Best,
    Sara

  • XML export "unable to export the data."

Strictly speaking I am just using the GUI, not trying to do this programmatically.  But this is related to a development project & I figure the dev forum will have better insight.
Attempting to do a simple export of a plain table from Access. right-click table>export>XML>"OK">checkdata only>"OK"
    ...unable to export the data.
A very unhelpful error message with zero indication of the reason or how to correct it.  This is a single, simple table.  Exporting other formats is fine.
What should I even be looking for as a cause for this?  How hard is it to dump a table into XML with tags for <record> or <row> and tags for the column names?

What you call a simple export Access may not. What are the data types of the fields in this table? Can you post a copy of your table, with only some test data, to a public place like a free OneDrive account?
Surely I agree you should be afforded a better error message regardless.

  • Unable to commit the project status change

    Dear Experts,
I am developing a utility program to change the status of multiple projects at once.
I am changing the status of Phase, task, check list, check list item and Project status from
Create to Release, release to Complete and to Work Effor Complete. With respective status change BAPIS.
when ever the projects is not able to change the status success fully due to validations
such as person respondsble not mainted or any other basic data is missing,
We are not committing the changes if every thing goes fine we are commiting with BAPI: BAPI_CPROJECTS_COMMIT_WORK
but when we commit with this it still retaining the previous project status in LUW and trying to commit previous project too.
    and commit is getting failed.
I am not able to roll back or free the project with BAPI:BAPI_CPROJECTS_ROLLBACK_WORK and BAPI_BUS2172_FREE
BAPI_CPROJECTS_ROLLBACK_WORK: when iam trying to use this BAPI it is going to short dump
BAPI_BUS2172_FREE:  It is returing error saying unable to free the project.
Could you please tell how to roll back the changes to the project or how to commit only success full projects (Project with out any errors in status change.)
    Kindly do the needful
    Thanking you.

    *Status Change for Check List
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUS2176_SET_STATUS'

    *Status Change for project
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUS2172_SET_STATUS'
          EXPORTING
            project_definition_guid = p_guid
            is_business_transaction = lv_bus_trans
          TABLES
            return                  = t_return.
If there is a sucess in changing the status.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_CPROJECTS_COMMIT_WORK'
        TABLES
          return = t_creturn.
    Else.
        CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_CPROJECTS_ROLLBACK_WORK'
          TABLES
            return = t_rreturn.
    Endif.
    Endloop.
In the above code when we are executing  BAPI_CPROJECTS_ROLLBACK_WORK is going for dump.
If we simply commit with  BAPI_CPROJECTS_COMMIT_WORK for all the projects then if any project
commits with error same error is re produced for all the following projectsid (unable to destroy the LUW).
and in CRM we can't use 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_ROLLBACK'.

I am using Iphoto 11 ver 9.4.3 on mac using oxs 10.8.5 i want to export calendar projects to an external hard drive. my goal is to store them in an external hard drive so it doesn't use up memory on the mac hard drive. is it possible to copy the specific projects without copying the entire library? what is the easiest way to do this? i have tried export and import but it didn't seem to work.

    What do you not understand?
You can duplicate the iPhoto library (command - D ) and delete everything except the project and its photos from the copy and move that
    Or
However the calendar takes very little space - it is simpy database entries - it is the photos in the calendar that take space - and for most people you would wnat to keep those photos in your library
you can use a photo in 50 calendars and it still is only one photo in your library - as I explained calenders do not exist as such - they are simply database entries telling iPhotop how to display the calendar - they take almost no space at all
