Web Apps using Item Description in Google Maps Mouseover

Does anyone know if there is a way to use alternative fields from the web app to display in the pop up on the google map when you are plotting web app items on a google map from the list view? I seem to be only getting the option to display the address (which comes from the standard address fields) and the Item Description. I want to use alternative fields (ie a summary field) as the Item Description copy is too long.
This is the pop up I mean. The top line is the Item Name, the address is coming from the standard item address fields, and then the view property link is what we have placed in the description field. We would like to change what we use the item description field for and therefore use another field for this map.

Spring 2.0 provides custom support for TopLink Essentials in Tomcat out-of-the-box. You should follow the instructions here: http://static.springframework.org/spring/docs/2.0.x/reference/orm.html#orm-jpa-setup-lcemfb-tomcat
Essentially, Spring provides a custom class loader for Tomcat and doesn't use an agent.

Two web apps using the same EJB client jar

I am currently deploying two web apps on a server. Both web apps use an EJB client
jar (the same jar) to access EJB's and both apps work when tested independently.
The problem arises when I log into app A and then log into app B. As soon as
I do app A loses it's references to the EJBHomes, and other classes.
It seems a classloader is unloading the first classes and instances loaded by
the first app and then loading them from app B's client.jar.
If I put the client.jar in the system classpath everything is fine, but that's
just a hack.
Is it not possible to deploy two web apps on a server using the same client.jar's
in their own WEB-INF/lib's?

As Pravin mentions, the checking of those boxes in Workbench triggers scheduled jobs within the EAC that kicks off the scripts at the appropriate time/day. But as you've noticed, there's not a ton of flexibility and you don't get cron or Windows Scheduler-type capabilities.
If you need to do something special, you can manually kick off the report generation scripts from your control directory using the runcommand.bat (or sh) script or place the command into a cron/Windows Scheduler job:
For example, to kick off the WeeklyReports job, you would do this:
runcommand.sh WeeklyReports runSo, assuming you go down the route of creating multiple ReportGenerators and scripts, you would create a job to kick off the new script you've created at the appropriate time.

SSO to Web App using Application Integrator - not working (SP15)

I have created a web app system and generic app integrator iview for my web application (and set up user mapping etc.), following the Application Integrator how-to guide but it does not log me into my web application. I have got the Yahoo example working, and if I use a HTTP System & URL iview for my web application, that also works. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be, or where I should start looking?
If I use a http sniffer, I can see the correct URL and parameters in the following:

Bit of a weird one: I've found a way to make it work but I'm not sure exactly how... the problem was that the portal was opening my web app URL in an iFrame (which can be seen from the code above). I tested this by just creating a html page with the URL + parameters in an iframe, and it wouldn't log me in (and took over the whole browser). So I guess the problem is with my web app rather than the portal.
However... I then discovered that if I add my web app address to the Local Intranet security zone in my browser (IE6) settings (before it was in the Trusted Sites zone), it no longer minded being in an iFrame, my test html page worked and so does the portal iview. I cannot find which security setting is causing this - I've tried changing the Trusted Sites to match the Intranet zone settings exactly, but it still doesn't work if my web app address is Trusted opposed to Intranet.
If anyone has any idea what is causing this behaviour, I'd be very grateful - obviously it isn't a portal issue but I'd still like to find out the cause in case it comes up again in the future.

SSO to Web App using Application Integrator - not working

I've set up App Integrator for my web application, following the Yahoo example in the guide. My URL template is <System.protocol>://<System.server><System.uri>?<Authentication> and the fraction for user mapping is op=<MappedUser>&pwd=<MappedPassword>.
It doesn't log me in. Even if I change the URL template to the actual address of my web app and use a real user & password (rather than <Mapped..>), it still doesn't work.
I've got SSO to my web app working using a HTTP system and URL iview but I would really like to see the App Integrator working as well. Any ideas?

How to inspect web app using safari and ipad and USB cable?

On my mac I have
OSX 10.10.2 (14C109)
Safari Version 8.0.3 (10600.3.18)
On my Ipad 2 (MC769X/A) i have
OS 8.1.3 (12B466)

Javascript "on"
There are no "privacy" or "private mode" settings that I can see.
I physically connected my iPad to my Mac and chose that I trust this computer. Confirmed that it's connected by looking in iTunes (and quit iTunes afterwards).
I opened a web app on my iPad that's running on my local server, and then opened safari on the mac.
I then opened the Develop menu and can see the ipad. The menu does not contain any other entries other than "Use for development..."
My mac also shows "No inspectable applications", whatever that means.
If I choose "Use for development" under the iPad menu, nothing at all happens and the menu item disappears.
To get the iPad sub-menu back again I have to quit Safari and then re-open it.

I'm sorry I don't buy this as an answer because:
it's for a question that is 2 years old and for older devices. My devices are all the latest version
I have XCode and I'm a member of the develop program already.
XCode does not offer a way to create a project or other pairing between safari on the mac and on the ipad, since that is a built in feature of Safari
It works with IOS Simulator, but not with the actual device even when all correct steps have been followed to pair / connect them
The problem I'm trying to resolve works in IOS Simulator but does not work on an actual device.

Liquid sorting web app list items

FIltering is great in Liquid, but sorting the data by custom fields is something which our clients are really asking for.
Trying to say to a client, you can only sort alphabetically etc. is really making BC seem really unfriendly. Please, please, please can this be added or someone show me how this can be achieved without writing hundreds of lines of JavaScript for something which is so rudimentary in other languages / programming systems.

Are you trying to allow the customer to set the sort order? And/or allow the customer to categories web app items into groups? Or simply, sort the data by a particular custom field, such a category?
Here's a simply solution I've got working: FAQs grouped into categories. I took this one step further and allowed my customers to even edit their categories, but you can hard code this per site if you like.
1) Collect the web app data into collections, so we can sort by custom fields.

Phone only gets emails when i access the internet using opera mini or google maps

at first, i thought the problem was related to gmail and pop, so i forwarded all emails to my bb address, but the problem still remains. if i start google maps and let it load for a second, all of my emails and facebook notifications will come through at the same time, but they wont show up on their own. any suggestions? i am using sprint

1- Is there a good way to estimate or get a better accurate measurement of the amount of memory required/used by a running ADF app within Weblogic Server ?
Eg How much memory footprint does a deployed ADF app uses (not including those apps that comes with weblogic installs in the deployment section of WLS UI) ?
2- Because we have ADF as a web app, is there a usually a big increase in memory usages of ADF web app when more people are logged in ?
Any memory tool as a quick way to get the memory sizes ?

AFAIK,You need to first calculate the live data size for your application with the help of the GC logs to find out the ideal memory for your app to run :)
You can enable the GC logs -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintGCDetails -Xloggc:<Filename> to find out the live data size for your application

In short NO. What you have to do is to go through various tunning options at all the layers of ADF to increase performance as well as to have minimum memory consumption. Go through the Fusion Middle ware guide for the same. You can other memory profilers to understand how the memory is used by the application.

Problem on web app using root context in weblogic 7.0.2

I got problem on servlet which running on root context "/" in weblogic 7.0.2. I have remove the default web app (which use the root context) before the web app. The web application was deployed without any error.           We are facing the same problem; i.e. we are getting the same error message when we are trying to run our struts application on Weblogic 7.0.5 using JDK 1.3.1. This problem occured particularly when we tried to do a load testing using approx 20 concurrent users (a lesser load was supported though). Can you please let us know how this problem was sorted out on your end?

View a image in a web app using scroll bars.

I am using Dashcode to make a web app and i will be displaying images. How to i display the width of the image I can see the image by scrolling up and down but cannot see the width of the image as i cannot scroll left and right.
I need a horizontal scroll bar so i can scroll along the width of the image.
soz its kinda confusing.
Basically i need to put an image in a scroll area but don't know how.

See [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968863 I'm only getting one quarter of a screen on Flash Player on Firefox] (unsolved).
Not sure if that's relevant but does the display of the slide change if you make sure that hardware acceleration is enabled? The checkbox is here:
Firefox menu > Prefences > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Note that any changes take effect after you exit and restart Firefox.
To see whether Firefox actually is using hardware acceleration, you can check the troubleshooting information. Either:
* Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
Toward the end, in the Graphics section, look for this row:
GPU Accelerated Windows
The number will show a ratio of accelerated to non-accelerated window. If hardware acceleration is disabled, the first number will always be zero.
By the way, is the SharePoint PPT viewer using Flash, or Silverlight, or another plugin? Typically Firefox will display an icon that looks a bit like a "Lego" block in the address bar showing what plugins are in use in the page.

Office Web App - Use for viewing but not for editing

Hello,
i'm searching for a possibility to use the web app server only for viewing documents but not for editing.
I want to accomplish this for docs and ppts.
So the possibility to edit in Web App should be greyed out or even better, vanish completely.

You can remove the bindings for OWA for some actions.
