Weird zoom in itunes.

Is there any way to zoom out the text in itunes, or change its resolution. I got a new PC in July and the monitor is 1080p and its the first time I've noticed this. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about.
You see I can't read most of the sentences fully and the search bar at the top right corner looks strange.

This has fixed itself. Must have been a bug that was cleared up with one of the updates.

  • Unable to subscribe to my podcast... weird message from iTunes. Ideas?

Help. I am unable to subscribe to my podcast...weird message from iTunes saying that The item I requested is currently not available in US stores. This a a FREE podcast and it appears that way when I do a search for it. However, it does not appear in the category I put it in.
When I go to Advanced and put in the URL manually it does work.... but that makes it difficult for viewers. I want them to see it in Podcasts>Arts & Entertainment>Photography and then be able to subscribe.
    What can I do now?

Is your library located in the Pictures folder? See if you can do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #1, Repair Permissions, followed by Option #4, Rebuild Database if necessary.
Also to see if you've inadvertently installed some malware or adware download and run Etrecheck.  Copy and paste the results into your reply. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that was developed by one of the most respected users here (and recommended by Apple Support personnel) in the ASC to help identify the more obvious culprits that can adversely affect a Mac's performance.

  • Stretch(Zoom) in iTunes

I've loaded iTunes U video clip  and play in itunes  ,but I didn't see a zoom button to stretch that video on my macBook Pro.
It's only appear on Quicktime player .
I don't need a black bar on the left or right screen . for 4:3 clips.
How to solve this problem?  Just add a little button and some Quicktime feature.
It's useless to have a 16:9 screen display on macBook, if you cannot use .

Except in pretty rare cases, the people reading and responding in this forum are just other Apple product users like you and Apple probably won't see your comment here. Apple doesn't use the Apple Discussions forums for garnering product feedback or suggestions since this intended to be an end-user to end-user (i.e., users like you helping other users) technical issue support feature. You should send feedback via:
http://www.apple.com/feedback/ - Apple products feedback links
You should realize you can already do what you wish.  OSX does have Universal Access (in System Preferences) which lets you magnify any view in any application, and you can adjust your monitor resolution to generally display a smaller area in a larger size.

  • Weird view on iTunes that wasn't there before

I opened iTunes today and instead of just the list of my songs in my play list, it had the list but it wasn't filling up the whole area, it was kind of made smaller and then it said iTunes store below it. How do I get rid of this? I didn't have it like that the last time I used iTunes. And how did it get there in the first place?
Now more weird things are happening!!! I'm getting so mad!!!! Now some kind of box came up and said something about based on questions I answered, I didn't answer any questions, then it asked if I wanted to organize me music and I said yes then it started adding songs onto iTunes that are stored on my computer but that I had deleted off of iTunes. *** is going on!!!!?!?!?!?! I'm so mad, now I have to go and search for those songs I had deleted before and delete them again and its over 100 of them!

it had the list but it wasn't filling up the whole area, it was kind of made smaller and then it said iTunes store below it. How do I get rid of this? I didn't have it like that the last time I used iTunes. And how did it get there in the first place?
That sounds a bit like the MiniStore. See:

  • Weird Colours in Itunes and Quicktime for Movies

    Hi there,
Whenever I play videos in Itunes and Quicktime, all I can see are weird blurry colours on the screen although the sound works perfectly fine. The same thing happens when I try to play the movie trailers on the apple site...I have to open the trailer at least 5 times before it produces the proper image for the video, but that trick doesn't work for Itunes...these videos work perfectly fine on my Ipod however, it's just on Itunes and Quicktime they are blurry colours.
How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks.

does anyone else have this problem?

  • Macbook Pro slow start up, freezing on Safari, weird things on iTunes

I have a mid-2012 Macbook Pro and it's never seemed to operate optimally. It's slow to start up and sometimes freezes on Safari pages. ITunes is difficult to navigate and does weird things. I haven't done the latest update because we don't have Wi-Fi at home. Could it be that or could I have a hardware problem? Thanks!

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • Weird scrolling since iTunes Match is active?

    Hello,
I have recently activated iTunes Match on my Mac. It works fine, except one thing: Scrolling through my iTunes library is REALLY weird now. When I use the two-finger swipe gesture to scroll down or up, it first scrolls really fast, then slowly for a long time. When I try to scroll back because it scrolled too far, it takes a while until the scrolling is finished, then it scrolls back (again much to far). If I for example swipe upwards three times in a row, it would scroll up to the start of my library and then bounce against the window corner several times.
This is so weird and a little hard to explain. Scrolling was all fine with iTunes before I started iTunes Match. Does anybody else experience this?

Are you on Lion? If so, I don't think this is related to iTunes Match. iTunes 10.5 adopted Lion's 'rubber-band' scrolling, but as you've noticed, Apple have done a really shoddy job: scrolling in iTunes is much less responsive than other apps, and the physics is quite different. There's not much you can do except leave Apple some critical feedback and hope they fix it in an update.

  • Weird look for Itunes 8.1 64bit on windows 7 RC.

    Hi there.
I have this weird problem with my itunes on the new windows 7.
    Its look like this.
    http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/2453/itunesw.jpg
I did not have this problem before with windows 7, i used the beta before RC and there did it work, i have the newest graphic driver from nvidia to my graphic card.
can anyone tell me if it is a problem with itunes or the drivers in windows 7?

oka, i did ask the same question somewhere else. And got this.
Additional bugs found so far also include the visualizer and new genius features. It appears at least for some people that the iTunes visualizer does not seem to be working properly in iTunes 8.1. When you enable the Classic visualizer and start it up, it will stick in one mode and not change automatically. Usually this feature can be enabled or disabled by pressing the M key to toggle between automatic and frozen modes for the display. However, this doesn't seem to be working anymore. You can still switch the view and colors by pressing the Q, W, A, S, Z, and X keys to toggle between various settings for the visualizer, but it seems this bug will have to be addressed by Apple in another update. Deleting the iTunes preference files does not help this issue, and new user accounts are also affected.

  • Weird effect in iTune

Laptop : HP Pavilion dv7-4061nr with Beats Audio
    iTune: latest version
For some reason I'm getting this weird sound effect, sorta like a hall effect or something whenever I'm playing music in itune. I just recently bought this laptop so the speakers can't blown. Whenever I play music from Windows Media or youtube the sound quality sounds right or good. So it can't be my speakers. I checked the all settings and EQ and everything's okay. I also like iTune so I don't wanna change to a different media player just to get good sound quality from my laptop and I need it for my iTouch and apps.

Right, this will be the last attempt to uninstall iTunes. I wanted to try the last way just in case it worked, it doesn't, so I wont be offering that as a fix anymore.
Instead, try "Revouninstaller". Again, backup first if you're unsure. I've had success with another person on here who was having that same problems as you using that software.
If this works with you too, then this will be a permanent solution to audio quality problems in iTunes.
    Good luck.

  • Hi everyone.   Weird Zoom in Safari

    Hi everyone.
Something weird is going on with Safari where suddenly and unexpectedly, it will ZOOM in.
At first I thought it was the new scrolling, three finger swiping, etc that Lion has but I cannot get my Magic Mouse to zoom in or out at any time, without holding the command key, just as before with Snow Leopard.
Also, when it has super zoomed, the Command Key + Magic Mouse function will not zoom it out again.
So either Safari 5.1 or Lion has a bug, or I'm doing it with my Magic Mouse but I don't know what I'm doing!
Anyone shed some light or anyone suffering the same problem?  It makes filling out forms on most sites impossible.  I am using Mozilla for most browsing now.''

It sounds like the new Lion feature of "smart zoom"  only a few programs support it but Safari is one of them.
A double tab with one finger will zoom and another double tap will unzoom.
    Regards,
    Captfred

  • A weird question concerning iTunes?

Ok I guess this is my question. I am a huge fan of the band Tool and as some of you may know some of their songs are in two parts, like part 1 leads into part 2 (i.e. Parabol - Parabola on Lateralus) and I was wondering if it is possible when having the shuffle feature on that if Part I of a song would come on iTunes would play Part II of the song and then go back to random shuffle. I know this is kind of weird, but if this were possilbe that would be real awesome.
Thanks for you guys' time and input.

    hi Sp0t!
not a weird question at all.
there's a sort of workaround for that. reimport those two songs from the CD using the "advanced > join CD tracks" they'll be imported as a single track that will play all the way through parts one and two.
there's a worked-through example of doing this in this thread:

  • Weird font in iTunes store.

I am running the latest iTunes version on a Windows XP and I get these weird font which never happened before. How can I fix this?

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.
Start up in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
If you still have problems, then from the Font Book menu bar, select
              File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...
You'll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.
Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

  • Weird zoom behavior, please help

for no apparent reason my desk top zoom in like 500% the courser now moves the background screen computer work if I can get the courses to the desired place. Rebooting leads to normal appearance of the desktop for about 5 seconds and then the desk top zooms in again, tried all I know to get rid of the zoom and reset with no success, any ideas? thanks

Go to System Preferences +Universal Access+ pane Seeing tab. Turn OFF the Zoom feature.
If the current zoom makes doing so difficult, you can also toggle it ON and OFF by hitting Command-Option-8.

  • How do I fix this weird screen on iTunes?

I rented a movie on my macbook air on iTunes and it won't play at full screen, only on this tiny black screen. I also can't press pause or play from the screen. Not sure if any of you have experienced this problem but if someone knew how to fix it that would be much appreciated.

What are you referring to? Full screen on your Classic?

  • Weird quirk in itunes, scanning through a song..

when iTunes is in full screen mode if you hold down the forward button it scans through the song just fine, but when you have the mini player displayed, when you hold the forward button it scans for about a second then goes to playing normal. It wont scan through a song.
Has anyone else experienced this, or can anyone verify this?
