Why doesn't it work in C++?Does this have something to do with the comment "Note that it is not an LL(1) grammar"? [http://java.sun.com/docs/books/jls/third_edition/html/syntax.html]

<allow-interfaces> - The allow-interfaces element indicates whether the user-type class-name can specify Java interface types in addition to Java class types. Valid values are "true" or "false". Default value is false.
<allow-subclasses> - The allow-subclasses element indicates whether the user-type class-name can specify a Java class type that is abstract, and whether sub-classes of any specified user-type class-name will be permitted at runtime and automatically mapped to the specified super-class for purposes of obtaining a serializer. Valid values are "true" or "false". Default value is false.

  • What exactly are the cron scripts doing?

    Hi,
Hope the subject says it all: I have searched but not found a detailed explanation as what the cron scripts (daily, weekly, monthly) actually do, and if the utilities (Onyx, Cocktail, Xupport, etc) are doing exactly the same.
Can someone point to a site or explain?
    TIA
    Dan

    Hi Dan,
    (in addition to Barry's reply)
    Yes,
    1) running the Daily, the Weekly and the Monthly tasks manually with an utility, or
    2) running them yourself with the
    sudo periodic daily
    sudo periodic weekly
    sudo periodic monthly
    Terminal commands
(or this one: sudo periodic daily weekly monthly), or
    3) leaving your computer running 24/7/365 so that they run automatically,
all three ways do exactly the same thing.
--> To see what they do exactly, the best way is to open Console, and in the /var/log section, look for "daily.out", "weekly.out" and "monthly.out".
What exactly are the "cron scripts" doing?
    (Periodic tasks)
In Console, you'll find a lot of different files that grow with more and more information every minute, even every second for some of them.
The three Periodic tasks regularly rearrange them and compresses them so that they don't take too much disk space.
They also rebuild some system database so that the data never gets unusable by the system.

    Hi Pravin
For a beginner in CRM - Sales would be a right choice to understand how CRM behaves when integrated with backend R/3.
Still as far as CRM goes, most of the components are not exposed to their fullest potential and that is why its not outshining the competitors in market.

  • I accidentally deleted "empty cache" from safari drop down, what are the keystokes for doing it manually?

What are the keystokes for doing it manually? or how do you reload it to the drop down menu?

"Empty cache"  is not available in Safari 6.  (It's not possilble to delete that option from the Safari menu).
    Several workarounds.
One. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select:  Show Develop menu in menu bar.
Now from the Safari menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches
Or, from the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari.
Select:  Clear History  (that empties the cache as well as deleting history. Deselect all the other boxes, then click Reset.
Unfortunately, Safar 6 omitted the empty cache keyboard shortcut.

  • What are the following Fields meant to contain...?

What info are the following Fields in iTunes meant to contain?
    'Comments', 'Description', 'Category', 'Grouping'?
    Thanks.

They're not meant to contain anything, so they may be blank. However, those fields are there for various purposes. For example, pick any song or Podcast in your Library:
Comments: this field can have a note about the song, Podcast etc. etc. Amazon use the Comments field to make a note of the Amazon ID they assign a song when they sell it to you. You can edit the Comments field if you wish, adding any note that you want, for your own purposes.
Description: is used by Podcasters. They enter a description of their Podcast, typically a little information about that particular show. This field for a song etc, can be found (and edited) on the Videos tab of the song, (even if it's not a video!). Not all Podcasters make use of this field and not usually used in songs.
Category: Used by iTunes Radio services, to identify the type of programming they offer. Also used by Podcasters. Not always used by either service and not usually used in songs.
Grouping: Ah! Now, this is a good and useful field. Suppose you want a song to be in two different genres. Well, that cannot be done. However, if you want one song with genre "Rock" to also be included with all your "70's Pop" genre, simply type Rock into the grouping field and then create a Smart Playlist which has the rules: Genre is 70's Pop and Grouping is Rock. This Smart Playlist will have all the "70's Pop" genre in it and any song that you have typed "Rock" into the Grouping field. It will not have any of the other Rock genre in the list.
Actually, a Smart Playlist can make use of any of the fields you have mentioned. So it's possible to create a Smart Playlist that picks out any song or Podcast etc. containing a particular word in the Description field and a different word in the Comments field.

  • What are the risks when doing a Delete / Re-load of Data in InfoCube?

    Hi,
What are the risks/issues when doing a complete Delete / Re-load of Data in InfoCube?
    Rgds,
    Mark.

We are introducing a new Key Figure to the InfoCube and this KF needs historical data.
The only way I thought this could be achieved was by deleting the data from the InfoCube and re-loading it (It gets loaded from R/3 with no ODS used).
Is this the only way or are there other options in a BW 3.5 environment?

  • What are the Settings when doing Green Screen?

I had the green screen settings saved on my computer and somehow they've disappeared. I have been in the meantime just making an educated guess by using these settings:
    Ultra Key Output Composite
    Setting Custom
Key Color (eyedropper) the green just above the shoulder
    Matte Generation
    Transparency: 50
    Highlight: 0
    Shadow: 50
    Tolerence: 100
    Pedestal: 100
    Matte Cleanup
    choke: 0.0
    Soften: 0.0
    Contrast: 0.0
    Mid Point: 50
    Spill Suppression
    Desaturate: 50
    Range: 25
    Spill: 50
    Luma: 50
    Color Correction
    Saturation: 100
    Hue: 0
    Luminance: 100
This is my result so far, but I used to have different settings and these were just ones I had to experiment with as I couldn't find the original ones. Here is my upload to YouTube using these settings, I realize I need to invest in more lights which would probably make this process easier:
    link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7mGYyQofOg&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA
and this is the green screen only, although this was done in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 and I can't figure out why it's got that black frame:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zEAOXB5lSQ&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA
This was the green screen shoot that I used the settings that I lost that was given to me from the Adobe Forum some time ago (again I'd have a better result if I had more lighting):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9_VNk8v0ks&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA

No one can tell you what settings to use, it is unique to every single scene (and sometimes changes during the scene as well!). Start with the eydropper, then tweak settings until it looks as good as possible. Move sliders and watch results. I'm sure you can Google up some tutorials on setting the keyer controls.
As a constructive criticism, I viewed the YouTube videos (keyed and original) and forgetting about keying for a moment, the quality of the clip itself as just a video is very sub-par. I would never even make any attempt to key such a poor quality of source clip. Sorry. And close the shade, the light coming in from the left on the subjects arm is apparently also glaring into the lens and causing the washed out area in middle of image.
One does not need to spend big bucks on pro lighting. Go down to the hardware store and get some of the those shiny metal bowl type of light fixtures that have a spring clamp on them, less than $10. And get "GE Reveal" bulbs, which create a nice clean light (standard incansdescent bulbs have a reddish cast).
Get your subject farther from the green background, and light the background separately. Throw some light at the background, as even as possible, such as one light angled in from each side, and then put another light or two on the subject. That is a good starting point. Use manual white balance on camera and get a good focus and you should be in business.
    Good luck
    Jeff

  • What are the tools for doing xslt mapping.

    Hi All,
I am doing a a scenario with xslt mapping. Can anybody give be step by step procedure for doing xslt mapping.

    Hi Ankur ,
U can use Altova XMLSpy for XSLT Mapping.
    See the below links
    XSLT Mapping
    /people/prasadbabu.nemalikanti3/blog/2006/03/30/xpath-functions-in-xslt-mapping
    /people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/01/05/design-time-value-mappings-in-xslt

    XSLT Mapping with java enhancement
    /people/pooja.pandey/blog/2005/06/27/xslt-mapping-with-java-enhancement-for-beginners
    Step by Step procedure:
for doing xslt mapping you need to create a .xlst file containing the xslt mapping of source and target data.
U can use Altova XMLSpy for creating .xslt mapping.
Following following steps for executing this mapping.
    1. Create Source Data and Target Data Type in IR.
    2. Take xml representation of source data and open it into Alto XMLSpy.
    3. Create .xsd file for above source xml data.
    4. Repeat above two procedure for Target Data.
Now Creating .xslt file you need to Use Alto MapForce.
    Steps will be:
    1. Open the Alto MapForce. Import the source .xml and .xsd file in it.
    2. Similarly import the target .xml and .xsd in the MapForce.
    3. You will have both source and target data available in MapForce in similar fashion as you have in IR.
    4. Do the graphical mapping using extensive list of functions available there.
    5. Save the mapping file.
    6. Click the XSLT Tab . You will have the entire .xslt logic there.
    6. Copy the above content and save it as .xslt file.
    7. Create a jar file for the above .xslt file.
    8. Go to IR , Import the .jar file into 'Imported Archive'
    7. In Message Mapping , Choose XSLT from drop down box of Message program.
    8. Import the jar containing the .xslt file.
    9. Test the mapping

  • 72dpi photo converted to 300dpi.  What are the disadvantages of doing this?

    Hi,
Somehow I misplaced my original 300dpi Tiff photo, but was able to locate the same photo on my MAC which I had converted to a 72dpi JPEG photo. I need the photo to be of a higher resolution and increased the dpi to 300 as well as saved it as a TIFF instead for printing purposes. Is this recommended? I recall reading somewhere that it is never a good idea to increase the dpi once it has been decreased?
    Thanks!

There is a good standard answer for that question, "That depends." Once an image has been saved as a JPEG image, some of the original image will have been lost. That is something that is simply inherent with JPEG images. And each time that image is saved again as a JPEG, more of the image will be lost. This loss can be minimized by using higher quality settings in Photoshop Elements. In reality, if high quality is specified it will typically take several saves before image loss begins to be visible.
Once you have opened the JPEG in Photoshop Elements, you will have the highest quality that you will ever be able to get from that file. And you will not be editing the JPEG, but rather the pixels that were stored in the JPEG file. If you resize to 300 PPI without resampling you will probably not do any further damage to the image, but the dimensions will be smaller because those pixels have been squeezed closer together. But if you have to resample in order to make the image larger, then Photoshop Elements will have to create additional pixels, and this could produce undesirable results.
But it isn't going to hurt anything to try. Open the JPEG in Photoshop Elements and see what you can do. Whatever the result, make sure to save it to a new filename. You will still have your original JPEG image to go back to if necessary.

  • What is an ageing report? What are the data sources used to develop an agin

    Hello BW gurus,

    Thank you.
    TR.
    •     Developed AR ageing report, created invoice layout and processed invoices.
What is an ageing report? What are the data sources used to develop an aging report
    •     Worked on month-end and year end processes such as Balance Sheet Statements and Profit and Loss Accounts.
What data sources does one use to get Balance sheet and P&L accounts tables and fields.
    •     Involved in the end to end implementation of BW at Reliance Group as a team member.

    •     Extensively worked on BW Statistics to optimize the performance of Info Cubes and to create Aggregates.
What do you mean when you say worked on BW statistics to optimize the performance of Info Cubes.
What are aggregates why do you need them?
    •     Prepared design documents from the Business Requirement documents and identified the
relevant data targets for satisfying the customer requirements.
What are the design documents does one prepare, please give an example.
    Is cube a data target?

What is an ageing report? What are the data sources used to develop an aging report
Aging refers to values in different time period ranges. Example, the customer (credit) aging report can look like this.
customer (credit)  for current period, 0 to 30 days, 30 to 90 days, 90 to 120 days. This is the way aging is classified.
What data sources does one use to get Balance sheet and P&L accounts tables and fields.
For P&L information, you may use 0FI_GL_6 datasource (or 0FI_GL_10 if you use ERP 5.0 version). This datasource reads the same information used in R/3 transaction f.01 (table glt0).
What are the tasks a BW consultant normally performs when he is involved in an end to end implementation project or a full life cycle project?
Requirement gathering, blueprint creation, development etc
Refer to posts on Sap Methodology  and Sap lifecyle
What do you mean when you say worked on BW statistics to optimize the performance of Info Cubes. What are aggregates why do you need them?

Design document is basically a document to say  how the design is to be developed for a particular solution ex: FI it says what is the data fow and what are the data targets  to be used and how data shld be stored  for providing the client a solution they need.
    Is cube a data target?
Yes cube is a data target.
