I just upgraded to Firefox 4--what happened to the secure site icon at bottom of page?

I just upgraded from Firefox 3.6 to 4. There used to be a secure site icon at bottom right of secure pages. Clicking on the icon opened a window with all security info for that page. Now there is no icon. To get the same info I now have to click on the button in the address bar and then click again on the "more information" button. This is not intuitive and seems like a step backward. Is there a way to bring back the old secure site icon?

Security button to initiate actions to clear history, delete cookies etc was always at the top of the firefox window, but had disappeared when I opened firefix today. It was very convenient and useful, so would like to know what's happened to it?

It was just a plain looking button marked security; don't know if it was added by an extension as it was always there. Clearing the recent history is just one action the security button performed, along with deleting cookies and a number of other security related deletions. So, just being able to clear recent history is only a small part of what the security button would do for me, with just 2 clicks, so much faster and easier.

What happened to the option for a dialog box upon closing that allowed for modifying the automatic history clearing options, and how do I get it back?

I no longer find this option in the privacy settings under the Tools/Options menu. Is there a setting I can modify in the config file to reactivate this function?

As I remember, that pop-up box disappeared after Firefox 3.5, as well ask the "Ask me before clearing..." option check box. What happened to the tab audio playing icon?

So, I have a lot of tabs open and as we all know some music starts on one of them. No problem, just look for the audio icon on one of the tabs, then close the tab or mute the audio. I look at my tabs and I do not see the audio playing icon on any of the tabs. Has that feature been removed? If not, can it be activated some kind of way? Thanks.

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
You can close a tab with a double-click on that tab or via the right-click context menu of that tab.

What happened to the preview window & Bridge icon?

In PSCS6, I don't have a preview window in the "Open" dialog box. In PSCS5, when I clicked on an image file, I had a thumbnail preview. Also, the Bridge icon in the toolbar disappeared, which was visable in PSCS5.

Lost two features, Photoshop has. The Adobe Jedi have waved hands and said, "these are not the features you're looking for".
You can conceivably put a Bridge icon on the desktop near where it used to be, and leave a little room outside of the Photoshop application frame where you can see it, or use the File - Browse In Bridge menu item, or Alt-Control-O (or the Mac equivalent if you're on that system).
If you're on Windows, you could consider getting a codec pack that will provide you thumbnail images right in the dialog and Explorer windows. I can recommend the one that I use: The FastPictureViewer Codec Pack.

What happened to the "Security Update for Microsoft Word 2010 (KB2899519) 32-Bit Edition" software update?

When I deployed my software updates this particular one shows that there is some hash mismatch. So I deleted it from the package, the software update group, and the data library in the content library on my DP.
Then I wanted to re-download it and re-deploy it, but it does not show up at all in the "All Software Updates" section.
Am I missing something here?

I did click that bar, Peter, and it still does not show that update.
Is this just me, or is this really odd?
I was able to successfully re-deploy this update by going into the update group created by the ADR and downloading that update in my 2014 package that it needed it to go into (the ADR that I currently have is for my 2015 package that will start running in
January, but when I ran it, it went into the 2015 package). Then I right clicked on the software update and added it to my DEC 2014 update group by selecting the "Edit Membership" option and then I checked on the "DEC 2014" box.
After that, I just updated the DP and then ran the necessary client actions from the Right-Click Tools from Now Micro on my collection and it installed just fine.
The only update that shows up in the "All Software Updates" section is the 64-bit version of KB2899519, not the 32-bit that I am looking for.
But, I would really LOVE to know why this update is not showing up in the "All Software Updates" section.

It seems to have been completely deleted, along with some detailed feedback by myself and other Beta testers. (I can't find it if it is archived, anyway.) None of my many, many LR5Beta forum contributions are listed in my "Content" tab in my Adobe profile. In conjunction with the new Firefox button in Firefox 4.0 and with the addition of some new features that added a number of new menu items, many of the older menu items were moved around or only appear under certain conditions. It can be a bit confusing until you get used to the changes, but beyond adding new menu items in the future for new features, I don't think there will be major changes like that for awhile.

That's a good question. I may have installed FP 10.1 Beta in many of the attempts to resolve the issue. I've scanned my registry for any reference to Flash and removed anything that remotely resembles Flash Player (of course backing up Registry first). I've run uninstall_flash_player.exe, which doesn't appear to do anything. I've checked logs and there's no reference to Flash Player being installed.
