When I upgraded to win 7 I was told to uninstall iTunes and its helper programs. Now when I try to install it I get this message that it's not part of the original program.
When I upgraded to Windows 7 I was told to uninstall iTunes and its helper services. Now when I try to install it I get a message that says "the files I'm trying to install are not native to this program. Is this being blocked by Windows 7 security that I'm not used to. I'm not using the Windows firewall. How do I find what process is doing the blocking. Any ideas would sure help. Rex
I understand where you are coming from. I had the Ultimate Tier at one point, but I didn't watch alot of those channels so I downgraded.
Another problem with changing my tier back up to Ultimate is that I was told I would lose the discounts associated with the package I have now. The discounts won't transfer to the new package and they can't give me an equal amount of discounts with a new package. At least with the Sports Pass, it is an add on like HBO, so you can cancel at anytime with no penalties or changes to your plan.
Verizon does advertise the Sports Pass on its website. Here are the channels. The only ones I would be interested in would be beIN and ESPN Classic, since I will be losing that channel sometime in May since I only have the Extreme tier.
beIN Sports HD
CBS Sports Network
ESPN Buzzer Beater HD
ESPN Goal Line HD
ESPN Classic
HRTV
Longhorn Network (Outside of Texas)
Outdoor Channel SD/HD
Sportsman Channel
TVG
World Fishing Network SD/HD

From within Photoshop Elements, when I try to open Editor, a box opens that states I must activate the software. I registered and activated the software last year. When I click to activate, I get a message that I am not connected to the internet. I am connected. How do I get Editor to work?
You would get the redemption code, or perhaps even the serial number, from whomever you purchased the software from, apparently Amazon, so talk to them. This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve sold something that didn’t have all the numbers needed to license it.
A redemption code is something that is usually on the inner disc packaging if you purchase the media in a box, and there is a barcode on the outside of the packaging that must be scanned at the checkout register to activate the hidden inner code so you can redeem it at home on that website. This is what happens if you buy PSE from a brick-and-mortar store like Best Buy. I don’t’ know what happens if you purchase the downloaded version as I have never done that.
A redemption code is 24-digits of letters and numbers that you enter into a website to get a serial number, once and only once. The serial number of only 24-digits, no letters, is what you enter into the software during the install or when you run it and it asks if you want to register or run in a trial mode—whatever the exact phrasing is.
In any case it sounds like you don’t have either a redemption code or serial number—although perhaps something is listed on the purchase confirmation or your account online at Amazon or even in an e-mail from Amazon. -
i added a new email address to my iPad, i am getting the mail but not being allowed to send , i keep getting a message that i am not connected to the server

Your question has ended up in a relatively low traffic forum, Using ASC (How to use this website). I have asked our gracous Hosts to move it to Using iPad where it may get a more rapid and targeted response

I just upgraded to Yosemite. Now when I try to open one particular document in Excel, I get a message that there's not enough memory. I can open other documents. The document I can't get to is the spreadsheet of my passwords. Go figure. When I check the storage under "about this Mac" it says I have 150 GB of 249 GB. I have a MacBook Air. Help please. Thanks, Connie

I cannot synch movies to my iPad. This has worked for me in the past. I keep getting an error message that I am not connected to the internet. Yet, I certainly am. How else could I post this message. I can listen to music clips from the iTunes store, fetch my email, and read current newspapers on the internet. I restarted both my iMac and my Ipad and that didnot help.
I completely understand what is happening. I know that you are connected to the Internet. I made the suggestion because I have seen it work in similar circumstances. The Apple iTunes servers can be a bit fussy about things and sometimes rebooting the router clears up this miscommunication between iTunes and your network.
Have you tried signing into your account and then try to sync again. Go to Store>View Account. You will have to enter your password. Then try to sync again. Or try signing out completely in Store>Sign out. Quit iTunes, sign in again and then try to sync again.
Sometimes refreshing settings will help clear up weird problems. -
The new update for my computer is ready to be installed. When I try and install it, I get a message that my start up disc is full and does not have enough room. I have tried every avenue I can think with no resolve, of course, I am not a computer genious. Can anyone at all help? Thank you so much.
You need to discard or save to an external disk and then discard some of the stuff we all tend to keep forever (movies, music, pictures, docs, apps no longer used, etc.). A clogged up disk also does not function ideally either.

When I try to update the operating system, I get a message saying I am not connected to the internet. What should I do?
If you are trying to do a wifi update, make sure you have a good signal, plug in to make sure you have adequate power. Try updating through iTunes on your computer.

Since upgrading to Lion I am having problems with Safari on my Macbook Pro. I am using wifi to access the internet and the internet works in all other application except for Safari. When I try to access a webpage most times I get a error message saying I am not connected to the internet. If I click on diagnose the problem, I get connect again to the internet through the diagnostic process and the webpage generally works. This is not a problem when wired to the internet.
Check your network settings, in particular the advanced setting "DNS Server". If it is by chance 127.0.0.1, make sure to change is and use a know DNS Server (from Google for example, or your own Router local address).

I had a month long trial of Lightroom and I decided to purchase a prepaid 12month Lightroom/Creative Cloud license. When I uninstall Lightroom and then reinstall it, I get a message that says trial ended with the option to 'buy'. How do I install the purchased year long license to my desktop or add a license number? Also wondering where I might find this number?
ThanksPlease try to perform the steps mentioned on below links

When ever I try to download a game I get a message that I am not connect to the internet
when I try to download a game from any website, I get a message that says;
A network related error has occurred. Please ensure your computer is connected to the internet and click yes to retry now or no to exit. If I click yes I get the error again.
What can I do to fix this problem? These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

I get a message can not connect to the internet when trying to open Mozzila Firefox. It was working fine until my internet service went down. Once back up it was not working. I have tried installing and uninstalling the browser. I have looked at the firewall and proxy on my computer. Still not working Internet Exployer works fine. Deleted all cookies also.
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
See [[Server not found]] and [[Firewalls]] and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firewalls -
When ever I try to open Firefox I get this message saying it can not open.
"Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features." I did research on it and I found information on it and it said to to see if the cert6.db is read only and if so unchecked it and restart Firefox, I did that and it did not work same message came up so it then said to delete the file and let Firefox create a new and that should work and it didn't finally they said the fire could be corrupted and to reinstall it I did and it will still not work and i also have over a hundred gbs of free hd space so its not enough room on the hard drive.
There are a few possible causes for that error, for details see [[Firefox is already running but is not responding]].

Some web pages did not load correctly. (on Imac). Deleted Firefox and moved Profile to another drive to backup.
Downloaded new Firefox. When I try to install, I keep getting this message-"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."
I went in and searched for all occurrences of Firefox or Mozilla and deleted.
It will still not load.I cannot get Firefox to run now. I backed up my Profile to another drive. Cannot create a new one as Firefox will not run. It says there is another copy running. However, I have deleted all Firefox and Mozilla files and downloaded new. When I try to run it, I get the message to close Firefox as two cannot run at once.
I did create a new Mac account logon and can run Firefox there, so something in the other account is showing Firefox is running.
I also checked in ACTIVITY MONITOR and in SETUP and there is no Firefox or Mozilla running.
So, where can this bug be hiding????
