Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

This has been happening to me for months now and it's started to annoy me. I have Windows 7 installed and have seriously tried everything to fix this, deleting old back ups, cheacking my firewall, unintalling and reinstalling itunes, deleting pictures that may be corrupt. I just plugged my phone into a USB connected to my sisters MacBook and it backed up perfectly! Is this something wrong with my computer?
Even if deleted all the backups shown in iTunes Preferences>Devices, check the actual backup folder on your computer to be sure there isn't one still there that needs to be deleted. You will find them at one of the following locations:
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista/7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

I own a 13-inch MacBook Pro and for the past day, my wifi on my laptop says I only have two bars of connection and is running very slow,but all of my other devices such as my iPhone and iPad are connecting perfectly to the wifi. How can I fix this? I have tried to shut my laptop off and let it rest and I have also re-started my wifi router three different times. Thanks so much!FCP, and all software on OSX, has a few different "preference" files (the extension is .plist), which store all your user settings. Each time you resize a window, change a setting, anything, this file is re-written. Kinda easy to see how they would become corrupt every now and then.
-Close FCP
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences and delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data and delete Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
-Empty your trash
Relaunch FCP and see if that worked.
Download FCP Rescue to make this process easier in the future. When you have FCP running really smooth, open FCP Rescue and create a backup of your preference files. If it starts acting wanky, just run FCP Rescue and Restore your backup preferences. Works really slick, and it's free.

Take it back where you got and and get your money back.
As has been pointed out, if there was a "previous owner", the phone is not "new". Thephone you purchased is most likely stolen. If whoever you bought it from won't give you your money back, turn it over to the police. -

Let's first try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

This usually caused by a customised hosts file.
These need to be the only entries in your /etc/hosts file:-
# Host Database
# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
# when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.
127.0.0.1 localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1 localhost
fe80::1%lo0 localhost
Remove anything below these entries, then try and reconnect with GC. Once GC starts properly you can put the extra entries back in your hosts file, GC should start normally afterwards.

Here's a screenshot... it attempts to pull form iCloud but fails... so then moves to the next song after a couple seconds.. other songs that are failing do same.
Btw, tried deleting all copies form iTunes and iPhone then re-downloading... no love. Same issue (exact same incorrect artwork)! -
Have a Macbook Pro and a 4th gen iPod Touch. Downloaded and install iOS 4.3.2 yesterday. Upgrade went without a hitch, but now iTunes on My Macbook Pro will not open. I get an error that says --The file "iTunes Library" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes--. I am running iTunes 10.1. I searched for Updates to my MacBook Pro (running 10.6.7), but comes back saying no updates available. WHAT IS GOING ON??

why are some of the songs on the play list I am trying to burn to a CD "grayed out" when I start burning the CD and there for not included in the finished CD? How can I fix this problem. Btw, I have been using iTunes for years and this problem just came up quite recently. Thanks

It works fine in my car (when it's connected to bluetooth). But otherwise, the sound on the phone is dead.
What can be wrong and how can I fix it?Please not that the iPhone uses mono channel for internal speakers, the other path that you see is not the speaker per say. It is the phone microphone. Try using headphones, you will hear both channels. If the problem still persists when using headphones, check your sound balancing in the settings. Go to setting-general-accessibility scroll down and check the slide under mono audio. It should be put at the centre for you to hear both channels ON YOUR HEADPHONES

I have iTunes, latest version, open in Windows XP and get an error 45048 message when I try to update apps thru the store. How can I fix this? I have reinstalled iTunes twice but problem continues.
Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again. -
I have two versions of Pr, one is the latest 2014 and when trying to open a Pr2014 session, I get an error message saying the project was saved in a newer version and cannot be opened. Could there be an issue with an older Pr application on the computer? Please help!
You need to be very careful which project you open in which version.
For 2014 make sure its on 2014.1 build 81. -
