Why is submitting an app such a frustrating process????
Ok off the bat, I'm a designer not a programer and I just find this whole process of submitting an app so much harder than it has to be. For FOUR DAYS i've been trying to submit a simple app to no avail. Where's Apple's famed "ease of use" when it comes to THIS PROCESS....
my store is as follows....
1. I created an ipad mag that I named "Maybach Magazine" using Pugpig as the framework.
2. I tried to upload to the app to my itunesconnect account. During creation of the app, I had gotten the "bundle ID suffix" incorrect so I could not upload the app (note: that this was the day before Apple changed the policy to allow you to modify the bundle ID suffix) so I deleted the app mistakeningly thinking that I just restart the whole process. As you know... now I can't use the name "Mayback Magazine". SMH.
3. I'm pised at that... but moving on... I create a new app and entitle it "Maybach - Urban Lifestyle Magazine" - kind of ***** but has the two keywords in it that I need "Maybach" and "Magazine".
4. In xcode I rename my app Mayback Magazine 2 so now the identifer has also changed to "MaybackMagazine2"
5. So before I upload in itunes connect I set my bundle id to "Magazine"... and I enter my new bundle id suffix "MaybachMagazine2"
6. I save it.. go to xcode and try to validate it.. but alas.. it tells me "Please make sure that you have set up a record for this application on iTunes Connect."
7. Go back and it seems my bundle id has defaulted to "Mayback Magazines".. and older one I created...
8. I try to change it in the drop down menu back to "Magazine" and save it but i get "The Bundle ID you entered has already been used." Really???
Anyone have and suggestions on what's going on... what I can do.....?
This is really.... really frustratiing....
There are three questions to ask yourself:
1. Do I have a Apple developer account which gives me the permission to submit the app?
2. Have I looked at Apple help in my Menu bar of Xcode?
3. Have I looked at http://www.devshed.com/c/a/Smartphone-Development/How-To-Submit-an-App-to-the-Ap p-Store/1/.
Use these three questions to "guide you through your infuriating, but app-making" journey.
And if all else fails sometimes making an app isn't worth the anxiety.

When I start up from a bootable Hard Drive copy, Adobe Apps such as Photoshop will not open.
I use SuperDuper to make bootable backup Hard Drives. When I boot from these drives Adobe Apps such as photoshop can not be opened. Is there any way to make functional backup drives? Those same Apps when brought up from Time Machine will can not be opened.
Alas, fire ant, you cannot run Adobe Photoshop or any of their Creative Suite apps remotely. It's their anti-piracy restrictions, also the installer for PS puts a whole bunch of resources and drivers into system folders that again, due to anti-piracy efforts, cannot be copied via SD or any cloning process. (said system files NEVER copy out the same size)
This is why it wants you to reinstall and it will put in the correct files - If you have an installer, just re-install to the cloned drive and re-enter the product key and password.
A P-I-T-A, but that's Adobe for you.

I have 4GB ram running 10.7.5 . Would installing Mavericks make it easier to run apps such as VMware,Xcode and ADT(Eclipse)?

Well if you are entertaing the idea why not up grade the OS
Then see for yourself how you use your Mac. You can always upgrade at that point.

Generally speaking, if you can't find the books you want in the iBookstore, try one of the other stores which provide free ereader apps, such as Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Google, or Sony.
Regarding ClubReader, ask the people who make it. -

Why does all my apps say waiting?
I'm posting my experience because 1) lots of people are having this problem, frustration is high (as was mine last night) 2) I haven't seen any solutions online that worked for me, and 3) I spent half an hour on the phone with Apple Tech Support so you dont have to. Spoiler alert: It solved my problem.
I had the same problem described above and on other threads, though different from many other threads. I had just gotten my brand-new iPad (spring 2012) and spent hours choosing, redownloading (I had an iPad 2) and organizing apps into folders. Then... it happened. No new apps would download, each icon would show up and say "Waiting…" for hours if I left it alone. It should be noted that I was redownloading iCloud backups of purchased apps, not a restore from my iPad 2 backup or individual app downloads from the App Store.
I tried all the suggestions out there that I found, to no avail. It seems those measures were aimed at iTunes downloads rather than the iCloud restores: delete the pending downloads, clear the iTunes download cue of partial downloads, log out of the iTunes store in Settings, hard reset, and log back in, etc.
So I called Apple Support and they suggested I "Erase all contents and settings" option in Settings -> General -> Reset. It was to make sure it wasn't a hardware issue, and it downloaded apps fine, so I repeated the Erase and restored my iCloud backup. And voílà, after 4-5 hours of app downloads (I have HUNDREDS of apps, your restore may not take as long), I'm back up and running, able to download apps and iTunes songs/podcasts.
Steps:
1. Backup to iCloud BEFORE you do this if you already have your apps and folders set up just how you like them
2. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all contents and settings
3. On startup, choose "Restore from iCloud backup", or "Set up as new iPad" if you don't wish to use a backup
It really is MUCH less painfu than I ever thought a wipe and repeat setup would be, thanks to the magic of iCloud backups! Good luck.

Problem description:
(MacBook Pro 15” late 2008, OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 installed, no pending updates) computer is running very slow - takes 2-3 minutes to open apps such as Pages, even when no other apps are open. Randomly freezes and becomes unresponsive, requiring forced power down. Randomly logs off. Removed Kodak AIO software via Clean My Mac2, but BonjourAgent still there and requesting access. Cleaned weekly with Clean My Mac2 and running Sophos AntiVirus. 2GB memory installed. Currently 169.99 GB available of 249.2 GB capacity.

We have two iTunes accounts on one computer. Why is my music, apps, etc showing in my husbands account? Home sharing is NOT selected. This recently became an issue when we added additional devices. Now we keep getting each other's apps!

He intentado creando nuevas cuentas y desinstalando iTunes y volviendolo a instalar.

Really Apple?
With the release OSX 10.8.5 Apple has once again showed its true colors, and continued its efforts to create a closed Apple system, which eliminates third party vendors, unless, one can only assume... they pay.
Included in this OSX update is the disabling of the built-in camera to work with third party applications such as Skype and Gmail video chat. No surprise the camera works just fine with Apple apps such as Facetime and Photobooth.
The answer I got on my call to AppleCare to ask for assistance in reinstalling 10.8.4, so that I may Skype again, was we can not do that. You can not go back unless you have a time machine bkup.
Can anyone help me get back to to 10.8.4 on my 2013 MB Air?
I do not have a time machine bkup as this computer is not used to store important documents.

I go settings then store to sign in but I can't sign because it says my apple id has not yet been used before the iTunes store? That's why I cant download apps?
That means you have to sign into/view your account and review you account and make sure you have a valid payment method specified in your account.

First Issue: All of my purchased apps (games) and apps such as Weight Watchers, Facebook, WeatherBug, Sports and Pinterest, Notes, Nook, etc. are all locked up. They simply flash, then nothing! How can I fix this to make them work again? If I have to delete the purchased apps, will they still be in iTunes, or will I have to re-purchase them?
Second Issue: When I synced to my desktop (Windows XP) All my photos loaded onto my iPad2. I don't really want all 3000 + pics on my ipad!! How do I get them off? Next time I synced, they loaded again! Now I have so many duplicates! How do I get rid of the photos and prevent this from happening again?If none of your third-party apps are working, but the Apple built-in ones are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted. In terms of re-downloading apps then you can do so as long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
For synced photos, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the Photos tab on the right-hand side you can control which photos are synced to the iPad : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . If you don't want any photos to be synced then try selecting just an empty folder. -

Thank you.My iPhone 5 wouldn't start after I turned it off a few minutes after writing this. It went into recovery mode and I had no choice but to connect to iTunes on PC and restore.
I restored to factory setting first, just to validate my phone was okay. For a second consecutive iOS update, the iPhone 5 did not update smoothly while connected to PC and iTunes - I had to retry two times before the progress bar for the update showed. (The exact same problem with the restart occured when I updated to 7.0.4.)
The good news is that I was ultimately able to restore the iPhone 5 to factory settings while running iOS 7.0.6. I did have a backup from about a month ago lying around and was able to successfully restore with that as well, so the damage done is almost negligible since I had my contacts, notes, mail, etc. backed up to iCloud.
Once I completed both restores, the sync with iTunes worked fine. -
Why has my iBook app frozen? I was perusing a list of authors and got stuck on Jane Austin. I can't get back to the home page and my book shelf. Pleas help!
You don't have much choice, do you? You're either going to have to restore the software or take it to the Genius Bar to see about getting that button fixed.

You can use File Sharing in order to transfer the Word documents and the notes depending upon what apps you are using. Take a look at this.

You can always email files as a last resort type of thing. That may not be practical depending upon the number of files that you have. -
Does anybody have any idea on why the stock/factory apps are placed in the dock and springboard in the slots they are when you do a full restore?
