I have this query defined in my data template:

Issue: The inv_comment is not printing on the PDF output.
I had the temp directory defined under the Admin tab.
I'm guessing if it's the LONG datatype of the long_text field that's causing the issue.
Anybody knows how this can be fixed? any help or advice is appreciated.

I'm getting the following error when i'm trying to create an inbound delivery for PO.
                                                                                Diagnosis
The system attempted to find the reference movement type for
     the Warehouse Management system. A corresponding entry is
     missing in table 156S with the argument 101/X/X/ / /X/.
     The argument consists of:
     o   IM movement type
     o   Indicator: Value update
     o   Indicator: Quantity update
     o   Special stock
     o   Movement indicator
     o   Access indicator
     o   Indicator: Consumption
Can someone help me to resolve it? as it is not happening always

Thanks for the response and yes i did maintained IM/WM mvt types for 101 in both places.
If the movement type is maintained well why SAP says it is not?
SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > IM > Define Movement Types - "Assign WM Movement Type References to IM Movement Types'
Related tabel is V_156S_WM
If you check your configuration you will see that there are many entries with 101, and there are several other parameters...
First you should check what you are doing in IM, what parameters that mvt has (qty, value update, special stock, etc) > after that you should check whether it is maintained well in WM customizing - see steps in my previous email.

When I click on 'Engineering' tab in the characteristics value assignment for the parent material i.e. sales order material I get dump with following message,

Error During Import: File Could Not Be Imported

I am trying to load some .AVI movies from my digital camera into iMovie; most of them will, but 1 or 2 for some reason will not. I have played some of these videos on my old G3, which I replaced with this new computer; most loaded in OK.
The clips that won't load look smaller than the others when playing (don't know why). I played the movies and converted them to Quicktime again in MPEG Streamclip and they played fine (also in VLC PLayer, FWIW).
I am getting this error message: Error during Import: File Could Not Be Imported.
Also, I am trying to change the orientation of one clip that I inadvertently shot sideways; I did this in Bitlist but it won't load now into iMovie. Is there away to change the orientation in Quicktime (I'm not buying QT pro) or another free converter that will work?

* choose 'DV stream' as export option
* in the 'DV stream' dialog, you're offered the option 'turn'.. rotate in the wanted direction and choose '75%' size to get all into the video...

I just found an error in the file name for my camera raw cache file. The error is in my username. I don't know how to correct the error or if I should just leave it. I'm not sure where my cache file is stored on my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you are on a Mac if when you first set up your account you left out the i in Wilson nothing you do will change that. The REAL account name will always be alicewlson. Once an account is created you can't actually change the name of it. You can change the name that is displayed but not the REAL account name.
Simplest thing to do is stop worrying about it. Everything is as it should be, that is except Wilson being spelled without the i.

Are you sure which you told about Master Data Management?
As usually you cannot delete file if that file opening by some another application.

Error while Debugging MSA 'Creation of Login Object Failed'

Dear Friends,
I am working on CRM Mobile Sales 5.0 SP 5.
I have setup my Mobile Client and Mobile Application Studion On the same machine.
I have perform the initial generation of the application from Mobile Repository server to my machine.
it gave me 6 errors and 12 warnings and took about 4 hrs for generation.
Now when i tried to debug the generated application,
i get my login screen and once I enter username and password.
Error popups up stating "Creation of login object failed".
and then another error
"Starting MPPFailed" (MPP is my project name).
Please suggest me how should i go about to debug the application solving the above errors.

Am not sure if you were able to resolve the issue but below are some points:
a. I think the dlls sfabol and msa are not any more registerable, since they are more of VB.NET components and here assembly is registered and not the dll.
b. For logging into the application just ensure that you have user id in table SMOUSER and the employee for that user in SMOMITABT table.
c. If this is fine, then ensure that you have the latest BDOC metadata information on your laptop. I think in 5.0 also you need to use Clientconsole to download this information.
d. If this is all okay, then try running SQL profiler and check if the query to the ides db is being executed by the framework. If the query is fired then it means application seems to behave properly but the query is not retrieving relevant details.

after quality inspection i move the stock into warehouse integrated storage location. if i clear inspection lot in qa32 for a material after saving it will pop up express message"error during creation of transfer order for a material".i configured that after qc inspection automatic TR is created.i just proceed with manual.
its a issue related with workflow or configuration....i checked with automatic TO all the things are deactivated.....where i am missing

transaction flow - variant (remove the transaction variant if any)
but this will remove the transaction variant(custom) which you created , it will take the standard variant for your transaction VA01

Error during dump file Import from 11g DB into XE database

Hi ,
I have a dump file exported from a 11g database. First i imported this dump file into another 11gdb test database and it worked fine.
Later i tried to import it into an XE database. But import completed with error message as shown below. This error message appeared only for few tables.
IMP-00015: following statement failed because the object already exists:
Note - I created a new schema in XE database and tried to import the dump into this schema. So there is no chance for the object to exist before the import operation.
Does anyone have any idea why import in XE fails? Is there any limitation/restriction in XE?
FYI - All the tables that failed to import contains LOB data in it. Is LOB datatype is not supported in XE? Does this cause the problem during import?

Going from 11g to XE(10g) is problematic for two reasons 1st - 11g exports not necessarily compatible with an earlier version and 2nd I have found that in some cases 11g exports can have problems when importing back into another 11g(11.1.0.7) instance due to stack overruns whereas an 10g export to 11g normally works fine..

ODBC error generating temp file: "Unable to create file buffer" Server 2008

Guys:
I have a 32 bit application that has been running for years with no problems under XP and MS Server 2003.
To access the oracle DB we use MFC drivers and ODBC system datasources for Oracle 10g and 11g.
We recently moved from MS Server 2003 to Server 2008 Standard Edition (32 bit).
We also upgraded our DB from 10g to 11g R2.
Now the application gets intermittent errors when accessing the database like the one below:
"Unable to create file buffer"
I looked this up on other forums and it seems to be a problem with the ODBC driver creating uniquely names temp files
in the system temp folder. This was a documented problem some years ago and was fixed but now seems to have
reared its ugly head for Server 2008.
I'm not sure who the culprit is: 2008 32-bit or the 11g drivers.
I just know that some of our transactions fail because ODBC has problems and this is killing us.
As you see we are still running on a 32 bit OS and have created the ODBC DSNs using odbcad32.exe.
The application connects to the DB and works MOST OF THE TIME but random transactions now fail because of this error.
If I try to kill all of the *.tmp files from the windows temp directory it seems to solve the problem for a while but then the problem comes back rather quickly.
Any help here would be apprciated.

Don't just delete the offending file...it will be recreated eventually. Post a dummy file to prevent the error from reoccurring.
My only question is why you put more info on database and ODBC versions here and not in your SR? I'll note this in your SR for ya ;)

Error during prdn order creation co01

Dear All,
During creation of production order by co01 a error message is generating i.e."13.05.2035 comes after end of factory calender" for some of my Fert materials only in one of my plants.Bom & Routings,Workcenters are valid for this FG & also for Sfg's which exists in as components in this fert material.At the time of availability check the system generates this error.Factory calender is valid for 2010 but if the error is due to validity of factory calender the system should generate error for all the Fert materials which we are producing in same plant which is not happening actually.The problem is for only a few of Fert materilas.Pls help suitable answer will be awarded with points.

The problem i think should be in ur lead time for those materials for which the error is occuring.
See ur factory calender is valid up to 2010 but for some materials because of the order quantity and the lead time from routing its going beyond the 2010 ( means that order is getting scheduled beyond the2010) so it is giving the error.
Pls check the same and revert.
