I am using the following hardware: cDAQ 9188, Mod1: 9425,Mod2:9476,Mod3:9221.
Labview 2011, evaluation version
Program flow:
Login.vi: logs in the user with correct credentials.
Test Selection.vi : bunch of 5 combo boxes within a Timeout event of event structure and their respective RUN buttons. Each Value  change of  a RUN button, asynchronously calls a  program vi that is a component test. On exiting Test Selection vi , another new vi is called(asynchronously) that monitors the status of all programs via global variables.
Test panel.vi: This vi is called when above vi quits. It has a bunch of 5 strings displaying names of Tests that were selected in the earlier vi(combo boxes), their respective boolean indicators(indicating if the vi is running or not), string indicators(updating the cumulative test cycles/hours in the corresponding test in text format) and string indicators also for the start time. Alongwith them are View buttons.
This program is also within an event structure. the timeout section handles, updation of cycles status booleans through global variables inside a for loop. Whenever a View button infront of a test name is pressed, it simply opens the front panel of the test vi that was RUN in Test Selection.
(I cannot attach snapshots of the program, so I wrote the entire thing )
The error doesn't occur at any specific point.
Just a guess, could the asynchronous calls be causing this? I want several vis to be running in the background and their front panels opened when the user wants to see more than just the cumulative cycles being shown on the Test panel. Any suggestion how I could achieve  that without asynchronous calls?
there are some memory control APIs (Application Control palette eg Request deallocation), could those help?

Just too follow up on the problem I was having, I have found the root cause of this problem. Changing the number of elements read from a FIFO just hid the problem, it didnt get rid of it. It was the result of a couple of errors. listed as follows:
Channels incorrectly defined in FPGA meaning i was reading more channels than i needed to
when i process the data I was processing too many channels so one of these was empty
When i wrote the empty channel to a tdms file it crashed
once i cleared these issues the code is now stable
Hope it helps
Please remember to accept any solutions and give kudos, Thanks

Is there a parameter I should be using in the XML or is there a setting in Peoplesoft that will accomplish this?

Unfortunately however, even with the TCP tweaks enabled, I still only get a little over 1 Gb/s through the two aggregated Gig ports. It seems as though the aggregation is only using one port, though MRTG graphs of the two switch ports do in fact show that they are both being utilized equally, essentially splitting the 1 Gb/s speed between
    the two ports.
Problem with the server? switch? Aggregation software? All the above? At any rate, I seem to be missing something.. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated! If you're only running a single stream, that's all you'll see. Teaming/aggregating doesn't make one stream go faster.
If you ran two streams simultaneously, then you should see a difference between a single 1G interface and an aggregate of two 1G interfaces.

We are using 7 types of Purchase Orders and net price is updating for all type of purchase orders except one which is the PO type is FP (Using exclusively for foreign material procurement).
I have observed in table u201CEIPAu201D - Order Price History: Info Record and field u201C PREISu201D price is not updating ONLY in FP type PO. In P, item level, Material data tab u2013 Info Update has been selected,
Could u please explain why it is not updating in EIPA-PREIS, what are the reasons?

    Hi,
I have made a program that reads data on the FPGA of a cRIO-9075 and sends it to the RT-target.
I am no longer able to adapt the vI on the FPGA and save it without labview crashing.
The erros sign i get is Exception: Noncontinuable exception (0xC0000025) at EIP=0x00000000
The program and the eror can be found in attachement.

    Hello Jasper,
I cannot reproduce the issue at my end. I can add something to the FPGA VI and save it without any issues. A couple of things I can think of for you to try to fix the issue:
    1. Mass Compile the folder containing the project. To do this goto: Tools >> Advanced >> Mass Compile. Browse to the folder where your project is and select current folder. then start the mass compile.
    2. Copy the contents of your FPGA VI into a new VI and see if that solves the issue. The current VI might be corrupted somehow under the hood and this trick can correct that.
One other thing. I noticed that you use a lot of DMA channels to transfer data to your host VI. That is not going to work since the target only has a limited number of DMA channels available. I would advise to reduce the number of DMA channels by bundeling the datapoints and send them with one DMA channel and then unbundle the data again at the host side.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I am getting this error and I have no idea what to do to fix it. I tried to reinstall java but i didn't work any Ideas i can't get anything done without solving this problem.

I managed to figure this out through laborious guess and check. Just thought I would share the bug in case anyone else ever runs into it.
A third party library I was using wrote try catch statements wrong:
    try{
    catch(Error:*){
No idea why the original author did it like this, probably meant to write "error:*" and didn't release shift fast enough after the "(" but as you might suspect "Error" is a reserved object name to cannot be declared as a paramenter variable
    when replaced with:
    try{
    catch(error:Error){
the memory access bug went away. What is strange is that the incorrect try/catch statement works just fine when published to swf, air, or android and is only an issue with the iOS converter, and obviously produces a very cryptic error.
I was using CS5.5 so maybe this has been fixed (if not I would suggest making this a compile time error) but just thought I would post my findings.

  • OSB (ALSB) to implement a Resequencer? (EIP Pattern)

    Hello *,
has somebody ever tried to implement using OSB (BEA ALSB) the Resequencer EIP Pattern (Hohpe, Woolf)?
    http://www.enterpriseintegrationpatterns.com/Resequencer.html
Generally I wonder how the OSB product concept maps to the EIP Patterns. Are there some guidelines for scenarios like Splitter/Aggregator , Enricher/Filter, etc.?
my customer want's to implement at least the Resequence and Splitter. Any tips are very welcome here!!
    grtx,
    \thomas

    Hi Thomas,
Depending on your exact requirement for your Resequencer you may be able to use the underlying WebLogic JMS Unit of Order to get this. Read more here:
    http://download-llnw.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11035_01/wls100/jms/uoo.html
With regards the other patterns, OSB supports all the ones you mention:
Splitter/Aggregator - use the split/join functionality described here:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/userguide/splitjoin.html
Enricher - this can be achieved in a number of ways depending on where you are getting your enrichment data from. Service callouts allow you to invoke a service from within the proxy message flow, Java callouts allows you to implement Java code, and there is an XQuery function to allow you to read content from a database (note in the next release of OSB we will have support for the Oracle database adapter and so will have richer functionality here)
Filter - again this depends on the exact requirement but there are a number of options here including routing tables, if/then capability, operational branching, etc.
    Hope that is useful.

This is a fatal error. As to catching it, Windows does it already for you, that is why you see the dialog. Trying to catch it yourself by some means wouldn't add anything as it is ABSOLUTELY unsafe to continue the process after this error. It could eat your breakfast, or the harddisk or something else!!
Something in your application is using huge stack space. This could be in LabVIEW itself, if you use some form of very strange VI settings, but since the LabVIEW VI execution itself is not stack based it is unlikely that the large project in itself would be the cause of it. Most likely you make use of some external code library somewhere, that has huge stack space requirements, either by allocating huge buffers on the stack (a very bad thing to do) or by calling functions recursively without a safe upper bound (just as a bad thing to do).
Also you should qunatify what a large project means. I have done projects in LabVIEW with about 1000 VIs and more already 15 years ago.

  • Access violation (0xC0000005) at EIP=0x012B60E6 within a dynamically called VI

    Hi
I have been seeing Access violation (0xC0000005) at EIP=0x012B60E6 within a dynamically called VI.
The VI is called by reference and is strictly typed.
The VI controls a function generator, a robot and a microcontroller device.
All of the above are synchronised using functional globals.
If I let the code run the FG will operate so I know the top level dynamic VI has defiantly been called and successfully entered, however within that VI as other VI’s are called (there are many) LV crashes with access violation.
The VI's within the top level VI are using HiD communicatiuoins over USB with the peripheral instrumants.
The LV crashes are totally random and sometimes the code will operate until the end and close down successfully.
I can only seem to guarantee smooth operation if I set a breakpoint within the top level VI, then the entire system runs perfectly.
In fact it seems that even if I remove the breakpoint (after the first break) and close the VI the system will continue to run until close.
Has anyone any ideas? I have run out!

    Hi MAC1,
I have been looking at your issue and wanted to ask if you are calling the VI's into Teststand, using the LabVIEW adapter?
If this is the case, it may be worth looking at another forum post regarding the issue.
    LabVIEW Access Violations- Teststand
I am currently looking into what could have caused this access violation.
If you could provide any further information in regards to the top level VI or if you could post it on here, that would be really useful.

  • Access violation (0xC0000005) at EIP=0x0534BABC when launching Exe

    Hi All,
I am facing "Access violation (0xC0000005) at EIP=0x0534BABC" issue when I tried to launch my exe. Earlier versions of the exe were running fine until I added Email notification features using .net SMTP APIs and built it again.
    System,
Development and Deployment systems are different. I am able to run source code on both systems and Exe on Developement system. But exe is not working in Deployment system.
    Exception,
I have attached the sanpshot of crash report pop-up and Log Report of the exception.
    Please help!

    Additional details,
When I tried "Run as administrator", I could see the exe icon on the task bar for few seconds then it disappears. It basically fails to launch, also I don't get any error message.
The Exe is created in development PC which runs 64 bit Window 7 and 32 bit LabVIEW. The deployment system has 32 bit Windows 7 and 32 bit LabVIEW. I hope it doesn't matter as far as my LabVIEW installations are 32 bit in both systems.

  • Phase One EIP Files?

Can the Adobe DNG Converter 5.3 open and convert Phase One P65+ files to DNG?
Checked the Adobe camera support screen and found every Phase One model supported except the P65+ and no mention of EIP files.
    Thanks

Not really, at this point if you want DNGs, take the original raw into Capture One 4.x and save them out as DNGs from there...then Camera Raw 5.3 can open them.

  • Kernel panic on EIP

    Hi,
I am fairly new to MAC and have read all the primers to debugging kernel panics. I have traced that the kernel panics is pointing to EIP. After that I dont know where to go next. Could someone please help me debug the kernel panics below?

Boot into Safe Mode and report if the panics stop. If they do then you need to remove all your third-party stuff:

I would begin with uninstalling Sophos, LogMein, Cisco, and RIM software. Update the Parallels software to the current version - 7.0.15095.768120.
    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash.  Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder.  Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space.  If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder.  You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder.  Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item.  Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder.  Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences.  Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS.  Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term.  Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default.  You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead.  Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The item generally has a ".pkg" extension.  Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications.  Here is a selection:
    AppZapper 2.0.1
    AppDelete 3.2.6
    Automaton 1.50
    Hazel
    AppCleaner 2.1.0
    CleanApp
    iTrash 1.8.2
    Amnesia
    Uninstaller 1.15.1
    Spring Cleaning 11.0.1
Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
