11g asm cp command gives ASMCMD-08202: internal error: [asmcmdshare_error_m

Subject: 11g asm cp command gives ASMCMD-08202: internal error: [asmcmdshare_error_m
I'm having problems using the 11g cp command to copy a remote asm file:
ASMCMD [+] > cp DBQNL8_G1_DATA_AREA/admt/parameterfile/spfile.325.678643027 [email protected]_dbd0121:+DBDNL2_G2_DATA_AREA/ditob/tmp/spfileADMT.ora
Enter password: ***********
ASMCMD-08202: internal error: [asmcmdshare_error_msg_05] [8201]
E: amscmd failed
The source and target asm are 11g, databases ditob en admt are 10.2.0.4.0.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Tim

Yes:
target and source are RAC databases in asm.

  • How come every time I open certain apps, my imac gives me an internal error message then it crashes?

I dont understand it and I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to, Thank you ....eddyy

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

I wondered if this was caused by a fouled TZ setting, so I also tried resetting the TZ agent using:
    emctl resetTZ agent
    Then:
    SQL> alter session set current_schema = SYSMAN;
    Session altered.
    SQL> exec mgmt_target.set_agent_tzrgn('ser456.css.virginia.edu:3938','US/Eastern')
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
I started the dbconsole, but the problem persists.
If anyone knows the fix for this I sure could use the help.
    Thanks, -Mike

    Hello,
Once you change any major setting for some reason EM console don't like it . At this time you should drop old repository and recreate a new one.
    To drop
$> emca -deconfig dbcontrol db -repos dropTo recreate
$> emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreateTo Create
$> emca -config dbcontrol db -repos createRegards

  • Who can give me a suggestion about java crash with Internal Error ID?

I running my server performance test, but after 7 hours, the jvm crashed and give a java internal error ID with "*53484152454432554E54494D450E43505001A8*",
and I can not query any valuable information from Google by this internal Error ID. Who can give me a light?
I have run the performance test on the other machine with the same service logic, the other environment not crash, It's very strange!

  • ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcratr_nab_less_than_odr], [1],

    Hi All,
In our lab 11gR2 RAC setup is up and running (11.2.0.1). Last night due to some issue with power or power failure servers went down directly.
When restart the RAC server, all the RAC related services are up and running except second node VIP is offline and database was down.
When I go for database startup through srvctl command it gives ora-00600 internal error.
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcratr_nab_less_than_odr], [1], [2692], [912], [913], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
From metalink (ID 1296264.1) I come to know there was a power failure causing logical corruption in controlfile.
From metalink doc having steps for single instance but not sure how to follow the same steps in cluster environment.
Is any body ever face the similar issue in RAC environment? Is this only second node VIP issue ?
    Thanks...

Conceptually you have one database, and one set of control files, accessed from multiple instances.
If the issue would have been with online redo logs (there is one thread of redo log files per instance), instance would have mattered.
Now it doesn't matter, as there is one set of control files per database, not per instance.

  • Internal Error when starting presentation services

I have installed OBIEE on XP(SP2) and started all services. http://localhost:9704/em works where http://localhost:9704/analytics gives http 500 internal error. Can anyone provide me solution please?.

I have checked from em, Application Analytics is running. On the command window of Oc4J, Could not create Java Virtual Machine message will appear and also could not allocate memory heap will work. This happens only when BI Presentation Services are invoked. I am thinking this might be some configuration issue but could not localize.

  • "Internal error (-5002) occurred" On Pick List Update Picked Quantity

    Hi Experts,
I have an SDK program that simply tries to update the Picked Quantity in SAP. Previously it has been working fine, until I try to use the same logic for items managed by Batch or Serial Number.
In this scenario, I have created a PickList with only 1 row, the item is managed by Serial Number.
I try to simplify the code as below.
    Dim oBaseDocument As SAPbobsCOM.PickLists
    oBaseDocument = oComp.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPickLists)
    BaseDocument.GetByKey(12345)
    oBaseDocument.Lines.SetCurrentLine(0)
    oBaseDocument.Lines.PickedQuantity += 1
    oBaseDocument.Lines.BinAllocations.Add()
    oBaseDocument.Lines.BinAllocations.SetCurrentLine(0)
    oBaseDocument.Lines.BinAllocations.BinAbsEntry = CInt(sBinAbsEntry)
    oBaseDocument.Lines.BinAllocations.Quantity += dXML_Quantity
    oBaseDocument.Lines.SerialNumbers.InternalSerialNumber = sXML_BatchSerialNo      ' <--- ***
    lRet = oBaseDocument.Update
I have added the *** line for handling the Serial Number, but when it hit the Update command, the SDK returns "Internal error (-5002) occurred".
I'm not sure what does it means.
Anyway I tried to remove the *** line and it works fine for item not managed by Batch or Serial, but the issue will remains for the Items managed by Serial or Batch.
Please advise whether I missed anything in this code.
    Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Krisma

    Hi Krisma,
I haven't done this thing practically but error -5002 will occur, if there is any Invalid Object.
    You can check it accordingly.
    Hope it helps.

  • ECP / OWA 500 internal error message

    Good Afternoon all;
We have just installed our first Exchange server (2013 SP1) on a 2012 r2 Standard server.
The installation went without any errors. I installed the mailbox and client access in one server. I followed technet 2013 help for installation (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx).
After installation , I can open up the toolbox and the exchange powershell without any problems.
However, when I try to access https://localhost/owa or ecp , I can put my username and password (domain\username and password) , it gives a 500 internal error.
    I have tried the following
    Resetting iis with iisreset (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/2f64d305-e9e2-4f48-a5b4-4f72d7bca801/exchange-2013-owaecp-http-500-internal-server-error?forum=exchangesvrclients)
Tried logging in with https://servername/ecp or owa (http://www.alihassanlive.com/e2k3/2014/2/9/cannot-open-eac-in-exchange-2013-500-internal-server-error.html)
I did this redirect thing, it did not help (http://msexchangeguru.com/2013/10/30/http-redirect-owa-ecp/)
Tried the netbios name (exchange) , it did not help, also tried netbios.domainname , it did not work either (http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/568178-http-500-internal-server-exchange-2013-ecp)
I CAN NOT FIND THIS SERVICE ON MY SERVER , if someone knows how to enable or find it, that might be my problem(
Make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Forms Based Authentication service is started. ??? Any ideas where I can find this service , I looked everywhere and did not see it.
I have not deleted the ECP or OWA directories from IIS yet.
I did do the authentication stuff (enabling windows authentication, forms etc.)
Any ideas WHY am I having the error message still ?
Note : We have a lab , and only 2 servers, one has the AD and the other one is only exchange server.
    Thank you
Note 2 : I have not done anything with AD after I installed exchange server (the user thats logging into exchange server is the administrator in the AD)

    Hi Yigit,
    Thank you for your question.
We could refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:
Change different browser to check if the issue persist
Make sure the difference in clock settings between the DC and the Exchange server is greater than five minutes. Try synchronizing the time between DC and Exchange server
Restart Exchange server and make sure Exchange ping DC without any problems(including DNS)
Turn off AD and Exchange’s firewall  which is build-in to check if the issue persist
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
    Best Regard,
    Jim

  • CORE4007: Internal error: Unexpected Java exception thrown (java.lang.NullP

    Hi,
Currently we have a custom devoloped Java application deployed in oracle iplanet webserver 7 with JDK 1.6. I am receiving the below errors. The application is not stable. It gives a 500 internal error sometimes when browsing. When i checked the error log. Below is the message.
CORE4007: Internal error: Unexpected Java exception thrown (java.lang.NullPointerException, no description), stack: java.lang.NullPointerException
Could you please throw some light on this.

You need to fix your custom developed app since it is causing the errors and instability. Tell the developers to properly verify the input data and improve their exception handling so you get better error messages that tells you what went wrong.

  • Internal error in FW CS6 when changing fonts

Has anyone else been plauged by an internal error when using fonts in FW CS6?
Whenever I create some font and then go back to edit that font it won't let me, it gives me an internal error. I have tried deleting the following files > Fireworks CS6.mch, Font Map, Fireworks CS6 Panel Prefs & Preferences... nothing appears to work.
I have since then uninstalled and reinstalled FW.
    I'm using creative cloud...
    Thanks

This sounds like the same problem that I have recently been having with FW CS5:
If I try to edit an exiting text entry, the program allows it -- but as soon as I move the cursor out of the text area, it reverts back to the original, saying that the 'file is locked'.
I also get an error message saying an "internal error" has taken place in the program. Then, when I close the program, I get the following error message:
I have been using this version of FW for several years (it's an authentic, registered copy), but the problem began in just the last few weeks. The only changes that I've made to my system in the last little while are the regular WIndows 7 updates. (Could there be a connection?)
I've tried reinstalling the program, but the problem is still there.
If you find how to solve your problem, can you post how you fixed it?
    Thanks.

    Forms

First of all, why don't you get a new handle. "Forms" is almost worse than leaving it a number. It may be just me, but I tend to ignore posts from people with numeric handles or nonsense names. That brings "Sysdate" to mind.
Now... You cannot access package procedures and functions with types defined in the package that way. Your problem is caused by your attempt to use duplicate TYPE declarations in the form -- that just does not work. It is too bad the Forms compiler gives you the internal error code, when it should just say what I have above.
Instead, remove all your type declarations from the form. Then in the variable declarations, reference the types declared in the package. For example:
      t_bus_unit     Pkg_xyz.t_db_bus_unit_tab;
t_trans_set    Pkg_xyz.t_db_trans_set_tab;That ought to get you going again.

  • When trying to login in OIM 11g after providing credentials, it gives internal error 500.

When trying to login in OIM 11g after providing credentials, it gives internal error 500.

please note: 500 error is the most difficult HTTP error to troubleshoot , because it is very generic. It could be because of many things.
So, if you could provide us the OIM diagnostic logs when you receive it, it will help as to be helpful.

Use SQL*Plus to execute SQL, PL/SQL and SQL*Plus statements.
    Usage 1: sqlplus -H | -V
-H             Displays the SQL*Plus version and the
                       usage help.
        -V             Displays the SQL*Plus version.
    Usage 2: sqlplus [ [<option>] [<logon>] [<start>] ]
      <option> is: [-C <version>] [-L] [-M "<options>"] [-R <level>] [-S]
-C <version>   Sets the compatibility of affected commands to the
version specified by <version>.  The version has
                       the form "x.y[.z]".  For example, -C 10.2.0
-F             Enables the failover mode for a RAC environment.
-L             Attempts to log on just once, instead of
                       reprompting on error.
-M "<options>" Sets automatic HTML markup of output.  The options
                       have the form:
HTML [ON|OFF] [HEAD text] [BODY text] [TABLE text]
                       [ENTMAP {ON|OFF}] [SPOOL {ON|OFF}] [PRE[FORMAT] {ON|OFF}]
-R <level>     Sets restricted mode to disable SQL*Plus commands
that interact with the file system.  The level can
                       be 1, 2 or 3.  The most restrictive is -R 3 which
disables all user commands interacting with the
                       file system.
-S             Sets silent mode which suppresses the display of
the SQL*Plus banner, prompts, and echoing of
                       commands.
      <logon> is: (<username>[/<password>][@<connect_identifier>] | /)
                  [AS SYSDBA | AS SYSOPER | AS SYSASM] | /NOLOG | [EDITION=value]
Specifies the database account username, password and connect
identifier for the database connection.  Without a connect
identifier, SQL*Plus connects to the default database.
The AS SYSDBA, AS SYSOPER and AS SYSASM  options are database
        administration privileges.
<connect_identifier> can be in the form of Net Service Name
        or Easy Connect.
          @[<net_service_name> | [//]Host[:Port]/<service_name>]
<net_service_name> is a simple name for a service that resolves
            to a connect descriptor.
Example: Connect to database using Net Service Name and the
database net service name is ORCL.
               sqlplus myusername/mypassword@ORCL
Host specifies the host name or IP address of the database
            server computer.
Port specifies the listening port on the database server.
<service_name> specifies the service name of the database you
            want to access.
Example: Connect to database using Easy Connect and the
                     Service name is ORCL.
               sqlplus myusername/mypassword@Host/ORCL
The /NOLOG option starts SQL*Plus without connecting to a
        database.
The EDITION specifies the value for Application
        Edition
      <start> is: @<URL>|<filename>[.<ext>] [<parameter> ...]
Runs the specified SQL*Plus script from a web server (URL) or the
local file system (filename.ext) with specified parameters that
will be assigned to substitution variables in the script.
When SQL*Plus starts, and after CONNECT commands, the site profile
(e.g. $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/glogin.sql) and the user profile
(e.g. login.sql in the working directory) are run.  The files may
    contain SQL*Plus commands.
Refer to the SQL*Plus User's Guide and Reference for more information.

Can anyone tell me what may be going on? Yesterday I had configured channel bonding for network interfaces. Did firmware update on RAID adapter and updated linux packages including kernel. Going to old kernel didn't help. I tried restarting processes, that also didn't help.
