2 Stage Dialing with ISDN-30

I have 2 problems here, i have setup a cisco 3640 router with ISDN-30 (E1 Link) as the voice gateway and a SIP server. I have enblock a range of numbers from 62991000 to 62991099 with DID service.
The problems,
1) Whenever I dial any of the numbers above, i will hear a tone and i need to key in the last 4 digits again in order for the call to get through. Can i configure such that the router will pass the called number to SIP server.
2) How can i configure the router so that the reicipent will see my direct number instead of my main line number?

Put the direct-inward-dial command on the pots dial-peer. This will forward the dialed number (with the matched destination-patten stripped) to your SIP server directly and shall not give you a secondary dial-tone.

I have created a container in Flash Professional CS5 for my project’s CBT. I’ve been able to script many of the features we require using AS3, but there are a couple of things I’m still trying to work out.

This function is present when I publish the CBT with Captivate, so obviously there must be code available. You can set the Captivate button to open url in new window and pause movie.
Is there something I can add to the html file that is similar to the “has Priority” for mobile devices or is there javascript that can be added to the flash itself?

You would send a command to Flash from JavaScript when window.onblur event occurs.

755p Voice Dial with BlueTooth

I've searched all over the place for help with my quest to make my Treo 755p "Smart" phone have bluetooth voice dial capabilities. What seems to be out-of-the-box functionality for many normal phones (no "smart" in their name) is apparently difficult to achieve with the Treo 755p, and apparently with all Treos from what I've seen so far. Here's the conclusion that I'm coming to, but I just can't believe it, so I'm posting this here in the hopes the experts (that's you guys) will either correct my misunderstanding, or (hopefully not) confirm that I'm on the right track.
APPARENTLY:
Voice dial capability is not part of the Treo 755p; one has to install a 3rd party program or service to gain this functionality. There are a few good options out there, but they do cost additional money.
Voice dial programs apparently work pretty good with the wired headsets that come with the Treo package. Apparently (although I have not tested it yet) pressing the button on the side of the treo or one the wired headset can be configured to activate the voice dial software, and the user can speak into the wired headset microphone to dial by voice.
Extra digit dialing is apparently not supported by most (if any) of the software I've seen that works on the Palm platform. (This is hard to tell exactly, because some software works only for the windows platform, which I don't have.)
Bluetooth headsets configured in hands-free mode will launch the voice-dial software, but I've found that the treo does not connect the voice dial software to the bluetooth headset, so instructions are not heard through the headset and the headset microphone is ignored for voice dialing. Others have apparently had the same issue, from what I've seen posted in this forum and on other fora as well.
The only method I've heard of anyone successfully using a bluetooth headset for voice dialing with a Treo is to bypass the Treo Bluetooth Handsfree mode, purchase an extra bluetooth adapter meant to add bluetooth capabilities to non-bluetooth phones, and then pair the headset with that adapter. This adapter typically costs $10-20, but is sort of big and must clip to your phone or to your belt. This adapter plugs itself into the treo's headset jack and simulates a wired headset. Apparently this mode works well, for yet more cost and additional bulk with makes it difficult to fit the phone into standard casings and/or take the phone out to work with the PDS without unplugging it.
One such adapter is the Cardo "Node" (http://www.cardowireless.com/node/434), but you can't buy it from their website anymore so I'm looking for other options.
I've heard that Jabra also has one, but I'm not sure of the model number, price, or form-factor.
Am I on track with this? This just doesn't sound right to me. I've seen postings that users have had this issue from the earliest Treo models, so I would have thought that Palm would have addressed it by now. I've always thought of Palm as a reputable and responsive company, so I'm hoping I've missed the "silver bullet" solution. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It was good to see others as frustrated as I am about the Treo’s glaring deficiency – kind of a support group. I kept thinking I must be wrong because I traded up from a dumb phone and couldn’t believe my new palm is incapable of Bluetooth voice dialing.
The voice dialing companies all say it’s a problem with the Treos. I have asked the people at Palm and, though they are very nice, they haven't been able to help. The people I spoke with didn’t seem to understand what I wanted and then spent a great deal of time trying to find the answer. In the end, they confirmed: you can get Bluetooth with a Treo, and you can get voice dialing with a Treo, but you can't get voice dialing over Bluetooth. They didn't know if a solution was in the works.
I am really puzzled about this problem. How hard can this be? As Bob Smiley said, you can get a Bluetooth adapter to simulate a wired headset, and any one of us could superglue it to the Treo, but why?
It seems to me that this is such a basic function that, especially with all the upgrades, they should be able to fix it easily. My impression is that no one at Palm is working on this and that no one is scheduled to work on this, but I hope I’m wrong.

stage width & height properties are read only, you cant
change the stage size by using actionscript.

Redirected to emergency dialer with the name of th...

I have updated to the latest version of Skype (5.2) on my phone and now everytime I try to call or video call my friend it immediately changes to the emergency dialer and shows my friends username in place of where the numbers I would've dialed in the emergency dialer.
The person I tried to call told me that instead of showing skype call screen with the answer & ignore buttons, they too got redirected to the emergency dialer and when that person tried to call me instead, the same thing happened where they got changed to emergency dialer with my username ontop and for a split second I could see a blank blue screen before being also changed to the emergency dialer with that persons username ontop. When I press the back button it takes me back to the Skype chat screen, and at the bottom of the chat it says missed call, no answer.
This only happens with this one specific friend I'm trying to call and he says that for him I'm the only contact where this problem occurs. Every other contact I call works fine.
I tried all the usual troubleshooting steps, signing in & out, clearing data & cache, re-installing the app, yet nothing worked.
I am using ZP998 on Android 4.2.2.
Any ideas as to why this happens or how to fix it?

And you mention the thousands of messages that will have to be rechecked, but it will not be thousands of messages since this happens only before you create the contact, so of the thousands of messages that someone will have, only a hundred or so will be like this. And what kind of load will this produce anyway, it will happen very rarely and only the messages that have a number instead of a name will checked.
You're saying that currently there is no solution to this, so there's nothing I can do ? No software or something that can help me ?

Btw, this is supposed to be a smartphone with good hardware for it to use, my sis' phone can do what I asked, and it's an entry level nokia phone.

Stage Performance with 2408 audio interface
a)I need to set a playlist with my 80 projects in front of me, ready to play and with a minimum loading time every time I select a new song to perform.
Each of my logic project has about 30 audio instrument tracks and 10 audio instrument tracks with many plug in.
I consider buying On Stage but the software only takes 20 projects at the time.
Is it possible to program more than one on stage software in the same computer and to program my 80 Logic projects?
I don't want to learn how to use Ablaton live, now I am finally comfortable with Logic.
b)About the loading time and the computer CPU:
1) what would be the best deal to avoid the loading time between the songs: I can bounce my 50 tracks to a 4 stereo audio tracks, create a new project with these 4 audio instrument track to make faster or
2) I can just leave the project with the original tracks but even with my Mac book Pro 2.4 GHZ, the computer crashes sometime because too many effects and tracks. (2 GB ram)

An external audio interface will not make a significant difference to the CPU strain. All it might do is improve the quality of your output signal. It will also not improve (or alter) the intrinsic audio quality of a bounce, unless there are external hardware synths/modules involved.
In the best case scenario (high end interfaces) the latency might drop a few milliseconds.
If you do not record audio, you can turn off software monitoring.
I also have the Lush, it's a lovely synth, but also a CPU-hog that can pretty easily overload the one CPU-core it is processed on.
What often helps with these synths is to turn off any FX (delay, chorus reverb, etc) that are built into the synth, and use Logics plugins as inserts on the channel strip. Also, turning off FX on synths reveals the actual ("virgin") honest sound of the synth itself.

Time Machine Backup Failed - Copy stage failed with error:11

My TM backups started to fail on a Mac Book Pro running 10.5.8 a few weeks ago with the 'Copy stage failed with error:11' message. It seemed to happen after coming out of hibernation from clamshelling the laptop.
This happened a few times before when I had initially set TM up so to 'fix' it I just blew away the TM backups and started fresh. I would rather not do that this time as I have accumulated 3 months worth of backups.
My TM is on a samba share, I've searched a bit and followed a guide:

to try and fix the problem by deleting a .inProgress backup but this has not helped. unfortunately this has did not fix it. I had also read that there are sometimes problems with TM and Spotlight indexing so I have turned spotlight off completely. Still no luck.

These can usually be stopped by excluding the backups from any anti-virus scanning, and Spotlight indexing, at least on supported volumes. Unless you're sure you have Spotlight off entirely, try excluding your backups via System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy.

Both of these appear to indicate problems on your backup drive, perhaps directory problems. For a supported one, a +*Repair Disk+* (not permissions) will often fix it. If there's a way to run that on your backups, it's worth a try.
It's also possible there's a problem on your internal HD, so it's worth doing a +*Verify Disk+* (not permissions) on it, too, via Disk Utility. If that shows errors, you'll have to boot from your Install disc and use it's copy of DU to repair them.

Can I backup a frame relay NNI trunk with ISDN?

I have four Cisco routers interlinked as frame relay switches. I would like to backup my NNI trunks with ISDN, is it possible? If so, how do I configure my frame-relay route statements to point to the ISDN if the same statements also point to the serial NNI trunk?

No, you cannot backup with ISDN a Frame relay NNI trunk.
ISDN can backup frame relay interfaces DTE-DCE.

Dial with country code as prefix won't work

The Sony Z1 latest ROM have the issue, it can't dial when the phone number don't have + before the country code.

If you actually use the country code, it has to be prefixed with + (or two zeros)
If you are calling a number in your home network/country and don't want to use the + sign, then omit the whole country code at all.
It is not possible to call a number along with country code without + or 00 before this code, and this is not some xperia thing, it simply works this way (unless your operator have some different policy but I can only guess about it).
When everything have failed already, try to read the manual.

Integrating a Predictive Dialer with COD

We are in the process of implementing Contact on Demand with CRM OnDemand. We have users that do nothing but make outbound calls and we were going to load campaigns and use leads to make those calls and record dispositions. We would also like to use our predictive dialer system to make the calls and pass connected calls to the reps. We thought we could use a web service to let the dialer know when an agent is marked as available and route the call to the ACD queue for the agent. It would be alot more efficient if I could route the directly to an agent vs. routing through the ACD queue.... I was wondering if anyone had thoughts as to an alternative using these 2 technologies.....

You could set up DID's for the agnets in COD to bypass the ACD. you could set agents to work off hook and auto accept. You could connect to server and agnets work pinned up during your dialer activities so that there is less call setup time.

Send data during dialing with java enabled mobile devices

hi every one ,
this is the problem :
i have 2 mobile phone with java enabled os , i want to call (dial) from phone1 to phone2 with java code , (this will be done by platformRequest("tell:123456"))
AND then i want to for example press key '1' in phone1 during the call some program send this key to phone2 and in phone2 i want to switch this key and understand that was key '1' ...
how can i send this data for example a key pressed event to another phone with J2ME ???
i am developing it with netbeans Mobile Application by the way ...
could you please tell me your opinion and help me in this ,

Async Dial with mutiple groups and ACS

has anyone else tried / managed to have multiple dialer mappings on a remote access router with the user dynamically allocated to the correct one based upon the details they provide as part of the PPP process?
In my case I have an ACS server 3.3 which deals with the authentication through AAA passed on by the router running 12.2 mainline. This works fine but the end user now wants to have an 802.1q trunk from the router onto the network with the dial in users IP address allocated by the ACS server and the user placed in the relivant dialer group and therfore VLAN mapping to give them access to the services they would have if there where on the LAN normally.
I guess the IP address allocation could be dealt with via pools on the RAS box but this would still leave me with the problem of dialer interface allocation based upon an authentication process which happens away from the router.

Purchase Process from a Second Stage Dealer with Excise Inclusive

Hi Everybody ...
I am facing a scenario in two of our projects where the vendor happens to be a second stage dealer. This means that he has actually purchased the raw material from the manufacturer, and paid the excise to manufacturer.
Now this vendor gives us an invoice where he has included excise duty in the invoice amount. This invoice amount also includes his own commission. The excise duty remains same as was paid to the manufacturer.
The invoice also specifies VAT applicable on: 'base amount' + 'excise' + 'dealer's commission/profit'
Now the tricky part is how to separate the excise amount from this? The profit our dealer is charging is separate and non-excisable. Though VAT will be applicable.
Example:
Our vendor (a stage 2 dealer) sends us an invoice of Rs. 1180/- with excise at 8% (say, excluding cess for the time being).
If excise amount here is Rs. 80/-.
This gives us a Base amount = Rs. 1000/-
Dealer's commission/profit = Rs. 100/-
VAT = 4% of Rs. (801000100 (non-excisable))
I have not been able to map this into SAP B1 2007B.
Please suggest if there is a way this scenario can be mapped onto SAP B1 or if it will require some level of customization.
I need to accomplish this in the next 2 days.

With reference to the query., pls note that you can put the 1180 in the unit price and assessable value or the per unit excise amount*qty in the Assessable value field. In the PO or GRN where you are putting the data be sure to have the Assessable Value and Tax Amount (LC) fields on. So you can put the assessable value and go to the tax amount table and put all the data in the tables and update it.

MGCP Gateway With ISDN BRI interface

E.164 dialing with CallConnector for Salesforce

Hi,
I have a little issue with the callconnector for salesforce client.
When I click on a number beginning with "+" to dialout, the call is not placed.
We're using CUPC in our company and I know "+" dialing is resolved with "application dial rules".
I'm not sure how the "+" is supposed to work. Is it the same than CUPC or is there anything else to configure ?
Anyone help ?
