-3001 error

Hi,
I am using Oracle 10g and ODP.NET 9.2.0.401 on Framework .Net 1.1.
Pool is off on my connection string.
When I execute an ExecuteReader via a corrupt db link ; I correctly obtain an ORA-24338 OracleException (which catch in my application).
Then when I execute after an other ExecuteReader directly in my database ; I obtain an -3001 OracleException (internal provider exception) :
Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException Erreur interne du fournisseur de données(-3001)
à Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException.HandleErrorHelper(Int32 errCode, OracleConnection conn, IntPtr opsErrCtx, OpoSqlValCtx* pOpoSqlValCtx, Object src, String procedure)
à Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleCommand.ExecuteReader(Boolean requery, Boolean fillRequest, CommandBehavior behavior)
à Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleCommand.System.Data.IDbCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior behavior)
à Cnr.Shared.Persistence.DataSource.DBDataSource.ExecuteReader(IDbCommand cmd, CommandBehavior behavior)
Someone can explain to me what's happen?

  • Getting error 3001 when using Excel Easy Table.vi

When making a call to Excel Easy Table.vi (Report Generation Toolkit) I get a 3001 error.
I have attached an example VI to demonstrate the problem.  Please run "Add Table Example.vi" in the attached zip.  This sample program is made up of VIs from a larger program, so it made more sense to create a sample program and only include the required VIs than include the entire large program.  So that is why the Report class wire comes from a functional global VI.
What is a bit strange is that Excel Easy Table is used to write a summary table at the top of the spreadsheet successfully in "Initialize Report.vi."  It is only when I then make the additional call to Excel Easy Table in Add Table Example that I get the 3001 error.  If you have any ideas why I'm getting the 3001 error, please let me know.
    I'm using LabVIEW 8.6 and RGTK 1.1.4.
    Thanks,
    Joel

    Hey Joel,
I figured out why this error was occuring. After comparing how you were adding the columns in the Report Write Info Table.vi in the Initialize Report.vi to just using the Excel Easy table VI, you hadn't provided a reference to which worksheet it needed to write the data to. I changed your code to include this reference and it worked perfectly without any errors. I have attached a .zip file with those changes so you can look at it.
FYI: Don't try to use this code as a direct replacement with yours. In order for me to reproduce the error, I had to modify several VIs in order to get it to run.
I hope this information helps you with it.

Actually if you look to the right of this page in the "More Like This " section you'll see people reporting a -3001 error message when using Software Update. I think these are quite old discussions but among the solutions are a Permissions Repair or updating through a new user account. It would cost nothing to try.

  • Error -3001 when upgrading to 10.5.3

getting a -3001 error with a recommendation to check my internet connection. Software Update is able to find the 10.5.3 update via internet connection. Mail, Safari, .Mac Sync all also work, network connection is green...can't figure out why it won't allow a download of the software update. This is for my MacBook if that matters...
    any thoughts?

Try creating a new Admin account (System Prefs/Accounts/unlock/+), logging off your normal account, logging in on the new account and running Software Update from there. If this works it will do the update for all users and you can go back to using your usual account but it will probably not 'really' solve the problem and you will likely have to repeat the process for each new update (though you can go on using the same new account).
Update notifications on your usual account are probably correct.

I'd been getting the - 3001 error for an idvd upate for a few months. I finally went out to the apple website and searched for the version update manually in the downloads section. Once I downloaded and installed it went through and everything is working now.

  • Error 3001 when trying to watch a rented movie

I've rented my first movie off iTunes Movie Rentals (Fantastic 4 - Silver Surfer). The file downloaded fine, but at the end of the download it shows error 3001 (There was a problem, etc.) but gives no specifics.
I tried it on my MacBook Pro and my girlfriend's Dell, both running the latest version of iTunes, but I get the same error when trying to play the movie, or when I click "Resume Download" (although it looks like the movie had downloaded already).
Any tips on how to fix this? I was looking forward to watching this with her tonight.
Not a good first-time experience with this rental thing I must say

I am getting the same error ("3001") when downloading - not watching. At first I was getting err = 8008. 8008 would happen about 1/3 through the download process. Download would freeze, and issue iTunes would alert an err = 8008. After contacting Apple, they claim to have reloaded the movie and instructed me to try again by:
    1. Delete my /User/iTunes/Music/Download folder
    2. Check for Downloads
After several attempts, the download process finally proceeded past the original freeze point. Download is now 99.9% complete, but now crashes and issues a pop-up alert "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (3001). There was an unknown error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
1.6G of 1.7G has downloaded. When I try to "play" the existing file, I am presented with another 3001 error pop-up.
    Grrr....

  • Can't Preview Widgets -- Error 3001

I'm running Dreamweaver  CS5 on a Mac (Snow Leopard). When I try to invoke the Widget Browser's Preview feature, I get an "Error 3001" which means that file or folder access is denied. But on which folder or file do I change the read and write permissions? I've looked around the Web and in changed permissions in my Library and on the HD's Library but nothing seems to work. The widgets do install but I have to configure them manually. Your help appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Arnie,
I'm having the same issue on a Win 7. Did you get your issue resolved. Nobody I've spoken w/ knows how to fix it. I had the same error notice when clicking 'Help' on all apps that are in CS5 and a tech person fixed it in 3 mintues - but I didn't follow his actions in the registery and they refuse to let me get in touch w/ him (Varun in installation dept/India). Please let me know if you fixed the 3001 error when opening the Widget browser. Thank you.

  • Error message in JDeveloper

I keep getting the following error message when trying to execute a custom package:
Error starting at line 1 in command:
    call xxnwu_bud_vacant_pkg.GET_POSITIONS ('31-JUL-2009', 3001)
    Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-04063: package body "APPS.XXNWU_BUD_VACANT_PKG" has errors
    04063. 00000 - "%s has errors"
*Cause: Attempt to execute a stored procedure or use a view that has
errors. For stored procedures, the problem could be syntax errors
or references to other, non-existent procedures. For views,
the problem could be a reference in the view's defining query to
    a non-existent table.
Can also be a table which has references to non-existent or
    inaccessible types.
*Action: Fix the errors and/or create referenced objects as necessary.
I called the package and it worked fine. I then added code but forgot to insert the ; at the end of the statement and it did not compile giving me an error message. I fixed the error and recompiled the package. When I tried to call the function again I got the above mentione error. I removed the changes I made so that the function would be the way it was when it did not give me an error but it still gives me the error even though it is the same code that worked an hour ago. The package compiles without any errors but I keep getting the error above.
    Does anyone have any advice??
    I have tried SQL Developer 1.5.1 & 1.2.1
I have tried to drop the package and re-create it but it does not solve my problem.
    Thanks

    Hi,
since there is no JDeveloper 1.5.1 & 1.2.1 I assume you mean SQL Developer. In this case you are posting to the wrong forum. Please post it to the SQL Developer forum

It looks like the PACKAGE compiles fine, but the PACKAGE BODY has an error.
Klick on the "+" left of the package to expand it.
Right-click on the package body and compile it.
    You should see error messages.

Due to the fact that Oracle VM Release 3.1.1 does support shared SAS storage (SAS SAN)
I created a partition, share it by NSF and placed there ovspoolfs.img ... access to this partition is at all servers ...
You can mount it manually, but when you try to enter a server in the cluster, OVMM write that the partition is mounted on a different path
    (sorry ... machine translation ...)

    Ok,
We have a dataset generation class that runs remotely as a windows service in VB.NET.
On some machine, when they have connected and are running a query, they get an exception thrown

Now everybody is hitting the same server, using the same installation of ODP.NET. It's in the GAC and installed fine.
Any ideas why we might be getting this?

Add to that some users are now also getting Data provider internal error(-3001) errors ???

  • Explain plans for PL/SQL code?

    Hi!
I am pulling SQL statements (select, insert, update, delete, etc.) from PL/SQL code and producing explain plans. Some of the delete statements have "WHERE CURRENT OF" in them which produces an ORA-3001 error (feature not implemented) error. How can I do an explain plan of these statements? Can I replace "WHERE CURRENT OF" with "=" to get a plan? How far off will the plan be? Any suggestions, ideas, etc. greatfully appreciated!
This is Oracle 9.2.0.4/5 on AIX if it makes a difference.
    Thanks!
    Dave Venus

WHERE CURRENT OF shouldn't be a problem. Here above an example on 9.2.0.4 on AIX5.2 :

    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
    With the Partitioning option

  • Software updates networking issue

every time i try to update my software,
the bar gets about three quarters of the way and gives me this message
"None of the checked updates could be saved
A networking error has occurred: Cannot open file (-3001). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again."
now i have 12 updates needing to be downloaded including os x 10.5.3

I had the same problem when trying to update to 10.5.3. You can download the 10.5.3 update from apple's website, apply it, and see if you still get the -3001 error for the other updates.
