  • How do I use jdk 1.4 with weblogic 6.1?

    Want to use jdk 1.4 features(logging and regular expression) in a weblogic
              application I am developing. How do I get weblogic 6.1 to run with jdk1.4

              This is off topic but see the url below on edocs.
              You will need to make sure that your classpath points to the 1.4 jdk. Changing
              your $JAVA_HOME in the startup script is pretty much it.
              When developing your application, make sure your classpath is set properly .For
              example in the setExamplesSever.sh script you point to the 1.4 jdk.
              FYI This is not yet a supported platform.

    i am facing some problem with the parsers (my application needs to use a crimson parsers which is not supported by jdk1.5 i guess)
    so i am trying to change the jdk version by changing the asenv.conf file
    but the appservers wont start up if i do so.

    This is strange. Setting AS_JAVA to the install location of your jdk instance should work. I have done it many times.
    What kind of errors are you getting in the server log file?

  • How to change used WD windows for BPM process instance?

    Hello SDN!
    We have two BPM processes (A and B) and two WD DC (A and B). Process A uses window from WD DC A, process B uses window from WD DC B.
    We deactivate process A since we need process B to be used and since A and B use the same WebService. But existing instances of process A still using window from WD A. Is it possible to switch instances of process A from using WD window A to using WD window B? And how we can do this?
    Regards,
    Lev.

    Hi Lev,
    Try this:
    Use an exclusive choice in your process. Create 2 Human Tasks after the Choice with these 2 WD Screens (A & B).
    Based on some condition, you can execute either one of the Human Task. Once this branch of the Exclusive choice executes, place an Uncontrolled merge so that the process execution does not wait for the other branch to execute.
    In this way, based on some condition, you can either execute either WD Screen A or WD Screen B without affecting each other.
    Hope this helps.

    Sid.

  • Q? how to change filename of receiver adapter includeing payload attribute?

    hi all.
    our scenario is IDOC - XI - FILE.
    IDOC is standard type .xml"
    Despite of searching help library, just read about how to change using payload value.
    How to change the filename using payload attribute?
    Message was edited by: ChangSeop Song

    Hi,
    You can create the file name dynamically from the payload of the receiver adapter as follows.
    From the requirement you have stated, you want your file to be named as,
    TPSDLS<shipmentid>.
    For this, in the reciver file adapter, give your filename as <b>TPSDLS%var%</b> and under variable name substitution,
    <b>var</b> --> <b>payload:IDOCTYPE,1,Shipments,1,ShipmentID,1</b>
    here, var acts as your variable name and it first looks for IDOCTYPE and its first occurence, shipment and its first occurence and finally, shipmentID and its first occurence. There by generating the filename dynamically.
    For more info on this, check the topic <b>variable substitution</b> under this link.

  • How to change inner content of HTML tag using HTMLDocument?

    I want to change the inner content of an HTML tag from a HTMLDocument. The tag is like
    <span id ="id1">Replace me</span>.
    So I want to change the text "Replace me" inside the span tag and replace it with an other text.
    I can get the span element using
    HTMLDocument.getElement("id1")
    I have tried many things with the Element instance i got from getElement. But I find no way to change the inner content of the HTML element. Any ideas?

    If I use JDK 1.5 the SPAN tag works, so I checked the core of the problem which is inserting HTML code in an HTML tag.
    setInnerHTML works fine for block tags like DIV but not if the tag is a leaf element like the SPAN tag. I have tried to use the following code for leaf elements:
    Element elem = m_htmlDocument.getElement(id);
    int nStartOffest = elem.getStartOffset();
    int nEndOffset = elem.getEndOffset();
    int nLength = nEndOffset - nStartOffest;
    m_htmlDocument.replace(nStartOffest, nLength, html, elem.getAttributes());
    This works, but only if the new HTML string does not contain HTML tags like a link <href..... >. If the string contains HTML tags the replace method masks all characters like < or >. So the link is not shown as link in the HTML page but as HTML text.
    The next thing I have tried is using
    m_htmlDocument.setOuterHTML(elem, html);
    This works too but it replaces the whole original HTML element like the SPAN tag.
    So there is still the question how to insert HTML text into a leaf Element in a HTMLDocument.

  • SJSE8 - how to change JDK

    Hi.
    My application don't use any features of JDK1.5, therefore I would like to compile it so it can run also on JRE1.4 and not only on JRE1.5.
    I'm using SJSE 8 and my question is, how can I change the JDK of SJSE 8 so it will use JDK1.4.2 ?
    Many thanks
    Miso

    I'm assuming that the IDE itself is running on JDK 5.0.
    Prior to starting, you will need to download and install jdk 1.4. After that:
    Go to Tools->Java Platform Manager. There cick Add Platform... and point to the jdk 1.4.
    The right click on your project's node and select Properties. There navigate to Libraries and in the top part of the dialog, you will see a drop-down box for the Java platform. Set it to 1.4 jdk.
    At this point you are completely set up.

  • How do I use Sun Web Server 7.0u1 reverse proxy to change public URLs?

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)
    for hosting some of the public resource and reverse-proxying other parts
    of the URI namespace from other backend servers (content, application
    and other types of servers).
    So far every type of backend server served a unique part of the namespace
    and there was no collision of names, and the backend resources were
    published in a one-to-one manner. That is, a backend resource like, say,
    http://appserver:8080/content/page.html would be published in the internet
    as http://www.publicsite.com/content/page.html
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.
    Another quest, possibly related in solution, was to make a tidy url for the
    first page the user opens of the site. That is, in the current solution when
    a visitor types the url "www.publicsite.com" in his or her browser, our web
    server returns an HTTP-302 redirect to the actual first page URL, so the
    browser sends a second request (and changes the URL in its location bar).
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    So far I found that I can't solve these problems. I believe these problems
    share a solution because it relies on ability to control the actual URI strings
    requested by Sun Web Server from backend servers.
    Some details follow, now:
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if
    I "restart" a request. Turning the error log up to "finest" I see that even
    when making the "service-passthrough" operation, the Sun Web Server
    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    [04/Mar/2009:21:45:34] finest (25095) www.publicsite.com: for host xx.xx.xx.83
    trying to GET /content/MainPage.html while trying to GET /test, func_exec reports:
    fn="service-passthrough" rewrite-host="true" rewrite-location="true"
    servers="http://10.16.2.127:8080" Directive="Service" DaemonPool="2b1348"
    returned 0 (REQ_PROCEED)My obj.conf file currently has simple clauses like this:
    # this causes /content/* to be taken from another (backend) server
    NameTrans fn="assign-name" from="/content" name="content-test" nostat="/content"
    # this causes requests to site root to be HTTP-redirected to a certain page URI
    <If $uri =~ '^/$'>
        NameTrans fn="redirect"
            url="http://www.publicsite.com/content/MainPage.html"
    </If>
    <Object name="content-test">
    ### This maps http://public/content/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
    ### Somehow the desired solution should instead map http://public/data/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
        Service fn="service-passthrough" rewrite-host="true" rewrite-location="true" servers="http://10.16.2.127:8080"
        Service fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="host=www.publicsite.com:80"
    </Object>
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
        NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"or desperately trying to set the new request uri like this:
        Service fn="set-variable"  uri="/magnoliaPublic/Main.html"Thanks for any ideas (including a statement whether this can be done at all
    in some version of Sun Web Server 7.0 or its opensourced siblings) ;)

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)please plan on installing the latest service pack - 7.0 Update 4. these updates addresses potentially critical bug fixes.
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.> now, if all the resources are under say /data, then how will you know which pages need to be sent to which back end resources. i guess, you probably meant to check for /data/page.html should go to <back-end>/content/page.html
    yes, you could do something like
    - edit your corresponding obj.conf (<hostname>-obj.conf or obj.conf depending on your configuration)
    <Object name=¨default¨>
    <If $uri = ¨/page/¨>
    #move this nametrans SAF (for map directive - which is for reverse proxy within <if> clause)
    NameTrans.. fn=map
    </If
    </Object>
    and you could do https-<hostname>/bin/reconfig (dynamic reconfiguration) to check out if this is what you wanted. also, you might want to move config/server.xml <log-level> to finest and do your configuration . this way, you would get enough information on what is going on within your server logs.
    finally,when you are satisfied, you might have to run the following command to make your manual change into admin config repository.
    <install-root>/bin/wadm pull-config user=admin config=<hostname> <hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    you might want to check out this for more info on how you could use <if> else condition to handle your requirement.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdaer?a=view
    finally, you might want to refer to this doc - which explains on ws7 request processing overview. this should provide you with some pointers as to what these different directives mean
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gbysz?a=view

    please check out the rewrite / restart SAF. this should help you.

    pl. understand that - like with more web servers - ordering of directives is very important within obj.conf. so, you might want to make sure that you verify the obj.conf directive ordering is what you want it to do..
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if

    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    now, you are in the totally wrong direction. web server 7 includes a highly integrated reverse proxy solution compared to 6.1. unlike 6.1, you don´t have to download a separate plugin . however, you will need to manually migrate your 6.1 based reverse proxy settings into 7.0. please check out this blog link on how to set up a reverse proxy
    http://blogs.sun.com/amit/entry/setting_up_a_reverse_proxy
    feel free to post to us if you need any futher help
    you are probably better off - starting fresh
    - install ws7u4
    - use gui or CLI to create a reverse proxy and map one on one - say content
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6601/create-reverse-proxy-1?a=view
    if you don´t plan on using ws7 integrated web container (ability to process jsp/servlet), then you could disable java support as well. this should reduce your server memory footprint
    <install-root>/bin/wadm disable-java user=admin config=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm create-reverse-proxy user=admin uri-prefix=/content server=<http://your back end server/ config=<hostname> --vs=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    now, you can check out the regular express processing and <if> syntax from our docs and try it out within <https-<hostname>/config/<hostname>-obj.conf> file and restart the server. pl. note that once you disable java, ws7 admin server creates <vs>-obj.conf and you need to edit this file and not default obj.conf for your changes to be read by server.
    >
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
    NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"
    ordering is very important here... you need to do this some thing like
    <Object name=default>
    <If not $restarted>
    NameTrans fn=restart uri from=/¨ uri=/foo.
    </If>

    If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

    i have 5 html pages that share a common header, footer, and sidebar. how do i use my nav bar to change the content of the body without duplicating a lot of code? thank you!

    i inherited the website. It’s for a non-profit and is not very
    sophisticated, and neither am I in webdesign. It currently has multiple
    pages that are identical except for that body section, so whenever i change
    the navigation (in the sidebar) I have to update every html page.  I want
    to have one basic page, and just call in the different body content based
    on the link the user selects from the nav bar. How can i do that using a
    script? i am using Dreamweaver.

    Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password.  You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in.  hope this helps.

  • How to change the default left alignment setting in Word 2010 professional (personal use)

    Hi, I use Word 2010 Professional for my personal use at home, and somehow the default setting for the left alignment in a new Word document has been changed to a hanging indent at .25.  So every time I open a new Word  document, the left margin
    has an indent setting.  I have to change it to 0.0 every time, which is annoying.
    I've tried to go into the "Options" section, under "Custom Settings" to de-select an auto left margin indentation, but I can't seem to find an option to do that.  Can anyone please tell me how to change this setting in the master Word 2010 template,
    so that every time I open a new doc, the left side is aligned at the 1" margin with no hanging indent?
    Thank you.

  • I'm using the same Apple ID for both my iPhone 4 and iPad2, now I'm thinking of create a seperate Apple ID for my iPad 2, can anyone please advice on how to change my iPad2's Apple ID to a new one? Thanks!

    Hi, I'm currently using iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with the same Apple ID, now I want to change my iPad 2's Apple ID to a new one so that it can be seperated from my iPhone 4's Apple ID. However, when I tried to change my iPad 2's Apple ID, my iPhone 4's Apple ID also changed. But I want to maintain the same old Apple ID for my iPhone 4 and try to change the iPad 2's Apple ID to a new one so that I can get it to my kid to use it. I would be most grateful if anyone in this forum can advice me on how to change my iPad 2's Apple ID and I can still maintain the old Apple ID for my iPhone 4? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Apple ID's are not device specific, so when you changed it on the iPad 2 it changed it on the iPhone 4 as well, since it's the same account still. What you need to do is create a second Apple ID (so you'll have two accounts, one for iPhone 4 and a seperate one for iPad 2).
    To create a new Apple ID on your iPad 2:
    1) Go into Settings > Store.
    2) If you are already signed in, tap your Apple ID on the screen and you will be given a few options, one of which is to sign out of your account.
    3) After you sign out, now click the "Sign in" button.
    4) Tap "Create New Apple ID" and follow the instructions on-screen.
