5th generation ipod touch rear camera no longer works; have tried everything; now what?

so my ipod touch 5th generation's rear camera hasnt been working for a month or two. the front camera works, but once I click on the button to switch to the rear, it freezes. i have tried resetting my settings, backing up and restoring my ipod, force closed and moved the camera app, etc. also, when i use facetime or snapchat, the rear camera option doesnt even show up. Online ive read that this is a hardware problem, so i was wondering what i could do or where i could take it to be fixed? and if i did take it in, how much would repair cost? thanks in advance.
also, there is no apple store around me within like two and a half hours. i bought this from best buy in 2013, could i take it there or can i send it in to apple?

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I have a 5th generation IPod touch, and today when i turned it on everything was fine. Then suddenly the screen froze and changed colors and lines started coming from the sides of the Ipod until the reached the middle. Now it won't turn back on.

I tried restarting it by using just the power on button at first. Once that failed I held the power and home buttom for ten sconds and that didn't work. I then plugged in the ipod to see if it needed charged, and repeated the same two steps at before but to no avail. Finally, I opened up itunes and plugged my ipod in, but nothing came up. I then tried to turn it on for a third time, but nothing happened. I just confused on what happened. Could it be a bad display, or did the whole thing just die on me? Help please.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ipod Touch 4g won't respond, I have tried everything.

I have a Ipod Touch 4g that I have had for about 8 months. One day it just turned off randomly. I didn't think much of after I reset it. Today it wouldn't stay on for more than 5 minutes because it was shutting down. I let it sit for a few hours, came back and reset it again since it had shut down. It started to boot normally until it switched to white-on-black format; it gave me a "Acitvation Required" messege in the middle of the lock screen. It also told me that voice over was on and told me how to turn it off, which I have never seen up to now on my ipod. After several resets it still did the same thing. I then tried to restore it, and now it stays on the black screen and won't reset, charge, or be recognized on any of my computers or itunes. I had it charged most of the way when all of this happened. Can anybody give me any advise as to how to get my ipod back up and running? Thank you for your time.

My key sounds and lock sounds no longer working, have tried everything!! Please help?

I have only had my iphone 4s for two months. The key sounds and lock sounds not working, happened after plugging it in for charging. It's all switched on in settings. Now it only vibrates when a message comes, or new mail etc, even though I have tones set it doesn't play them. I have done a full restore and hasn't worked either. I have also noticed the amount of power has disspeared (number) now too. What should I do? Thank you!

My 5th generation iPod touch issues

Hey,
My 5th generation iPod touch is just over a year old. About a month ago I started realising that my battery wasn't lasting as long as it always had. I then realised it was getting really hot, and I have now noticed my front camera isn't working.
I have seeked lots of advice, I began dimming the brightness right down, closing all apps that were not being used, using airplane mode when I could, but still the same problems.
I then reset the iPod and then fully restored it but still no luck.
I live in the Caribbean right now on yachts and so getting to an Apple store is impossible. Is it a hardware issue and in need of being replaced?
If so how much is this going to cost me as it is now 2 months out of warranty?

5th generation Ipod Touch won't charge past 20%?

I bought my 32 gb 5th generation Ipod Touch not more than 2 weeks ago at my local Walmart. Everything was working perfectly until today. All day, my ipod would charge until 20%.. run on this charge for approximately 10 minutes, and then die again. It does not continue charging after the 20% mark and I'm not quite sure how to verify that it does. I've tried using the charger with different usb ports/computers but still no luck. My ipod has been going through some pretty cold conditions temperature-wise the last few days.. does that have any affecton the battery maybe? Ahh, at this point I'm just frustrated.. hopefully someone knows how to fix this!

5th Generation iPod Touch Syncing issues

I recently receive a 5th Generation iPod Touch as a gift and I am having issues with it. I plugged the iPod into my Windows 7 PC with iTunes 11.4.0.18 and had issues from the start. First, my iPod would not even sync any media content from my library. So I messed around with the settings until the content was on my iPod. Once, it was on there I went to play a song that I had downloaded and it immediately skipped the song and kept going to the next available song , so I went back on to the forums to see that it could be a corruption on the backup and all you would have to do is restore your iPod and it would fix your issue. I did that got to the same step and a few songs played but most skipped. The album art is there for most of the songs not the music. I then went to iPod>On this iPod to find that every song I had just sync had an exclamation point error by the song. This is only happening on the On this iPod menu the music plays fine on the music menu without an issue. I am curious of what I am doing wrong here? I also read that it could be a much bigger problem in that I would have to delete all my music and re-install it. If that is the case I will deal with the iPod as is. It is not worth my time to spend hours trying to re-install 15+ GB on my PC again.

A profile is used on iOS device to add specific settings and similar things to an iOS device. Tryically, they are added when the iOS devices is controlled by a company or school.
However, some apps install a profile. If your iPod is not controlled by a company or school then it seems an app added the profile. You can good the title if the profile and see if that gives any info.

I have a 5th generation iPod Touch and it got a small amount of water in it around the speaker. When I tried to see if my music would play through it, it couldn't. But, when I tried my alarm to make sure I could still hear it, you could. The sound was fine from the alarm, not as loud as it used to be but I could still hear it. Why doesn't the sound work with my music and apps? Also, would I be able to exchange it if I have a warranty?

No sound coming from docking station speakers from my 5th generation ipod touch, with lightening connector

Bought a new 5th generation ipod touch (16 GB at the weekend, that has the new small "lightening adaptor" connection). I also Bought an acoustic solutions Docking station that had the same size lightening connector. Apps on 5th-Generation iPod touch Not Updating

After updating my 5th-generation iPod touch to iOS 8.3, none of my apps will update. It goes to the point of showing the square inside the circle, and all activity stops after that. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
