A command to run a script function in 2004s

Hi guys
I would like to run a piece of script before first load of a WAD template.
I know that in the properties of the template there is an option to run action before first display.
The thing is that I would like to run script and not a command.
Is there a way?

You can use the standard process OS Command if it is in the process chain.

The script is already saved as Get-ServiceStatusReport.ps1 .
On powershell it does not run like .\Get-ServiceStatusReport.ps1 (parameter).
But i have to call it as function:

Need command to run sql script from sql prompt

I am beginner in sql i need a command to run sql file from sql prompt.In notepad i have write 10 to 15 tables creation and saved as .sql i want to run this file from sql promp pls some one help.I am very great full to all users in this forum.

You can also use the 'start' command.
You may also want to look in the SQLPlus User Guide and Reference (for your release) at the set command for commands to set the number of lines per page, turn headings on or off, and so on:

Run Maintenance Scripts

On my PM G5 in the past I have successfully run maintenance scripts as follows:
periodic daily weekly monthly
from the terminal window with no problems. Usually when the command line is
executed the sys asks for master password and when it is entered, the program runs
without further messages, only cursor displayed, until it finishes and returns
the command line prompt.
Now suddenly when the command is executed the sys returns:

I have run the disk utility and repaired permissions and repaired the disk
with no change. There were some minor repairs done to permissions and disk.
I would appreciate advice as the how to fix this problem and to prevent
future occurrence of same.

If I'm reading your code correctly, you're starting a Korn shell session, then executing your C shell script as if you were at at the session window's prompt. If that is correct, you haven't caused your standard out (stdout) to hit ENTER yet. I'm not an expert, but I hope this works for you.

How to run a script from Oracle Form (Beside using HOST command)

I would like to run a script from Forms 6.0. I know that we can actually issue this command :
host('plus80.exe' username/password@connect_string @c:\scriptname);
BUT, is there any other alternative ?

Sqlplus is a different program, so one way or the other you have to leave Forms to run sqlplus. What is you objection against HOST?
You can also run sqlplus from the database, but again you need a stored java procedure to call sqlplus (sort of HOST command that runs in the database).
Francois' solution works if your script just has a query to run, but if you have specific sqlplus commands (spool etc.) forms_ddl is probably not a solution.

Running SQLPLUS script from command prompt on SUN

We are making a migration from VMS to SUN ( SunOS 5.10) and from 9i to 10g. We have encountered an unanticipated problem with running scripts from the command line in SUN(SQLPLUS execution from the command line). All of our packages have a naming convention such as "DM$LOAD.PKB". I know it is a strange naming convention.
The problem is that when the package creation script is run in SQLPLUS at the command prompt SQLPLUS can not open the file.

Setting the escape character does not seem to help.

Unfortunately, we can not rename the scripts. This can be done from a shell script, but our Tech Services refuse to run the SQL scripts from a shell script

Hi,
I'm receiving a confusing glitch running a batch process in
FW MX 2004.
I want to resize images in one folder and export them to
another. I step through the batch wizard and on commencement of the
batch receive an error:

Javascript/vbscript functionality (java script functions are not running) issue in Internet Explorer 10 and 11

We have developed web portal using classic ASP and java/vb script. We used to run it absolutely fine using Internet Explorer 8. Now we just migrated to Internet Explorer 11. But after that no java script functionality is working in our
web portal.
Our web server is configured on windows 2003 server and IIS version 6.0 and has .net Framework (Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727).
Could you please suggest us that is there any workaround to this?

Have you tested this web portal in compatibility mode, Tools\Compatibility view settings? or click F12 to use the developer tool, change the the document mode and user agent string to 8, check the result.
And under Tools\Internet Options\Security\Custom level, scroll down to "Scripting", enable "Active Scripting".

I have 20 .sql Files, each one has CREATE script for stored peocedures. I want to run the script for each SP of the file in the database. Instead of copy and paste from each file, is there any command to execute script from each file.

You can place that sql script either in drives.
IF suppose you placed your scripts file in D:\,
connect to database thru sqlplus and run like this

How can i run Oracle scripts from command line.
Actually i need to run these scripts from MSBuild before running Unit test projects

That would be the easiest variation

would be an often used variation
And then there is of course the version with parameter passing:

Mx:Script function + run time error

I am calling an mx:Script function from a combo box in Flex 2
in a "change" event..... e.g:
<mx:ComboBox id="discountType_cb"
change="changeDiscountType()">
in the function I am changing the "text" values of some
labels within the application depending on the selected value of
the combobox etc..... e.g:

The application runs without any errors and the function
seems to work and do what is expected to do... although I get the
following runtime error when the combobox is changed:
"TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method
of a null object reference."
Any suggestions?

to be:

An error occured while running a script

On launching Bridge, I an consistently receiving the following error.
"There were problems loading a startup script the last time bridge was launched. Would you like to load them now?"
Clicking [Yes] produces the following error:

I am running Bridge Mac CS2 - 1.0.4.6
Adobe Stock Photos Update 1.0.8
Power Mac G4 733 / OS X 10.3.9
Updating either Bridge or Adobe Stock Photos does not correct the behavior.
And curiously Stock Photos appears in the Favorites pane and appears to function.
Any help ?

The Bridge v1.04.6 PS CS2 I am presently using has always come up with the Internet connection Error Message and none of my large imaging machines are connected nor will they ever be connected to the Internet.
Is there a setting to do away with the Bridge trying to connect on my
behalf ? I've spent a lot of time trying to 'fix' a problem that shouldn't have arisen.
It wastes a lot of time trying to do something, which I do not want it doing.

Running elevated scripts from SCVMM on a Hyper-V host

SCVMM 2012 R2 conveniently lets me run scripts on hosts using the Run Script Command.
When not using a runas account, the scripts are run on the host using the Local System account which seems to be unable to run elevated commands. In particular, I want to run the Get-VM Hyper-V cmdlet on the host, and this cmdlet does not work (or rather,
returns an empty list) from a non-elevated Powershell.
I don't want to disable UAC because I don't want want to weaken overall security on the host just for this particular scenario.
Is it possible to use SCVMM's Run Script Command to run elevated commands on the host? Alternatively, can I get Get-VM to return the list of VMs even when run non-elevated?
(In case it's interesting, I want to run Get-VM on the host rather than Get-SCVirtualMachine on SCVMM because I'm interested in the IDs of the SCSI controllers of the VM, and it seems that SCVMM and Hyper-V each return different IDs. If there's a way to
get the Hyper-V-visible ID from SCVMM cmdlets then I won't need to run any script on the host at all).
