A confirmation of service is created instead of GR goods receipt inb. deliv

Dear Experts,
When I post an inbound delivery created for a PO item with confirmation control (0004) - Shipping notification, No material document is created. In the document flow I see Completion of service is created and no PO History Update follows.
When I try the same inbound delivery posting for a PO items which has 0001 (Confirmations) as confirmation control, the Material Document is created and PO history is updated too.
Do you know where I can alter the setting to create GR posting instead of Confirmation of Service for PO items with 0004-Shipping notification (Inbound delivery) confirmation control?
Thank you very much!
regards,
Shoira

  • Batch needs to be created 1st then post goods receipt with inbound delivery

    Hi,
We are having split valuated materials with batch managed, we need to post goods receipt with inbound delivery.
When we create inbound delivery with PO batch is blank which is correct.
Now when we try to post GR with IBD in VL32N we need to put batch, but we are getting error message as batch is not available in receiving plant.
In this case we have to create batch 1st with MSC1N and then we can put batch number in Vl32N and can post GR.
If material is not split valuated we can put batch manualy(Without creation in MSC1N) in VL32N and it is allowing to post GR with batch.
Can you please let me know this behaviour, is there any SAP note available about this behaviour.
    Thanks

    Hi Uwe,
Can an inbound WHSCON IDoc used for doing both the goods receipt in the PO and the update of the message flow in the delivery?
The binary answer would be no. You should use WMMBXY or MBGMCR instead.
But if we are doing goods receipt against Inbound delivery then answer is YES with additionally E1EDL18-QUALF = 'PIC' populated. But please remember no partial receipt is possible against Inbound Delivery.
We should populate E1EDL20-VBELN with our Inbound delivery number and line item info should go to E1EDL24.
I have done a similar interface recently where we are doing receipt against Inbound delivery. But our case was a bit complex because we had to support against Inbound delivery. So we had to go for a custom solution on top of IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

  • Create Automatic Reservation for Goods receipt of FG

When an order is created, the components from the store are reserved automatically. It implies automatic reservation for good issue.
What about AUTOMATIC reservation for goods receipt of finished product? Is it possible to make automatic reservation in PP for goods receipt of finished product, when finished product is ready?
I know that manual reservation for goods receipt of finished product can be done by using MB21 (521).
    Thanks in advance.

Your requirement is a little bit confusing...
If you have production order, why do you need GR-reservation for the to-be produced material? The production order itself is a GR-MRP element nad you can post the GR agains it.
If you don't have production order, I understand you need something to plan the GR.
But it seems you want to have both the PrdOrd and the GR-reservation --> you will have the same thing twice in your system.

  • Creating Unplanned Batches for Goods Receipts

Recently we had an incident where a goods receipt for a final product did not meet an analytical FDA requirement. We were able to segregated the portion of the material that did not meet this regulatory commitment. We have a manufacturing process in place that will allow us to rework this material however we need to assign this failed portion a new batch number. Since part of this final product is good we want to avoid a re-id of the total quantity of the goods receipt. Is there a way we can create unplanned batches and split a goods receipt for a planned process order after manufacturing has occurred?

    Ryan,
For these requirements, you might want to consider classifying your batches. Through classification function, you can assign multiple characteristics to your materials (e.g., one characteristic for inspection type, one class for original batch number, and one class for process order number) and assign specific characteristic values in batch.
I'm not sure which version of SAP you're currently using, but the following is the link to help.sap.com on batch management.

Batch classification is specifically discussed in Batch Specifications section.
    Hope this helps.

  • Create Automatic Reservation at Goods receipt during Backflash

Create Automatic Reservation (Movement type 311) at Goods receipt during Backflash

    Dear Iqbal,
In a REM scenario if required the materials(raw materials or the components) will be staged using T.Code -MF60.Using this the
system creates a stock transfer reservation for 311 movement for the missing parts.
Input can be the planned orders or production orders or else directly for the BOM explosion with the required quantity of the
    header material.
Once the stock transfer reservation is done, the same can transferred using MF65.
    Kindly check these threads,

  • Confirmation of service in the document flow, where it comes from?

    Dear all,
I found a confirmation of service after I picking and posting goods issue, from the document flow.
I just wondering, where it comes from? Or, how can I configure it on or off for display?
(This is a standard ERP system, should not involve in the CRM module)

Edited by: Peng Li on Apr 29, 2008 10:38 AM

    Hi Peng,
This usually happens for inbound deliveries usually happens when a movement type is not found for the relevant item. Please check in the delivery item if a movement type is maintained.
Another possibility is that the material is a non-stock (service) material type for which goods movement are not relevant. Check the material type from the material master.

  • I/B EDI IDoC for Service Ent Sheet & Goods Receipt against PO SAP ECC 6.04

    Hi EDI Experts ,
We Have ECC 6.04. We are planning to have  inbound  EDI IDoC for Goods Receipt against PO & Service Ent Sheet .
1.For Goods Receipt against PO  I have identified below Message type:
MBGMCR / MBGMCR03 - Used in SRM Confirmation IDOC from SRM & SUS
WMMBXY/  WMMBID02- Messages Types - I remember used in last Project
Can anyone please suggest/confirm me , exactly which is most used and most suitable ?
    2. For Service Ent Sheet  inbound posting I unable to find any IDoC and never heard same.
( I learnet that from SUS Service entry posted in ECC by eSOA with PI ( XML).... or in other cases it may created using some BAPi)
What is exact fact ?  Is there  Service entry sheet can not pe posted by IDOC ?  If yes, how ? if now, what is the best options ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    NAP

    Hi ,
    In MM-SUS deployment,
Until SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.04,  Service procurement using MM-SRV & SAP SUS, was not  provided. But,  as of “SRM 7.0, only in combination with ECC 6.04 ”,  SAP standardized the “Service Procurement” scenario along with Material Procurement  for MM-SUS deployment  and  so fully supported for Material & Services .
Please refer the Note 868192 & 1269540 and Technical scenario matrix ( criterion 18) document for details.
So for there is Enterprise Services ( eSOA) and not IDOC. Please see below messages for Services.

  • Performing goods receipt based on TO confirmation for putaway

    Hi All,
I am testing the possiblity of creation/confirmation of TO that will post goods receipt the purcharse order or inbound delivery. I have set the Shipping control value to 2 - Copy WM quantity as delivery quantity and post GR/GI. But what is the process to make sure when I perform the confirmation of putaway transfer order it performs the goods receipt. I tried creating a PO followed by creation of TO manually using LT01 for 101 movement type (yes i made config changes to allow 101 to be used for manual TO creation). And finally confirmed the TO. Nothing happened.. there is deficit in 902 storage type.
Or is this functionality just for picking??

    Hello,
    1. If you are using Handling Unit you can configure the posting of the delivery before or after the TO.
For that you should go into the IMG and select: Logistics - General->Handling Unit Management->Basics->Delivery->Define
Sequence of Transfer Order - Goods Receipt.
Within you can specify for each warehouse and delivery item category when to post.
        Remarks:
             1. For working with inbound delivery you should set the Control Confirmation Key to 0004 in the PO/Info rec.
             2. You can not post before TO together with Partial posting of HU. you need to decide.
    2. If you do not work with HU then you will have the minus in 902 area till you post GR.
option 1: you post the GR with transaction MIGO and create the TO imidiately automatically after posting (customizing via the
                       WM&IM interface).
option 2: you can use the user exit at the end of TO confirmation and call the function "BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE" to post the GR
with the TO confirmation quantities. Remark: you need to execute commit before you call the BAPI again.

  • WM LT01 Source BIN# not FIFO on Good-Receipt-Date, instead on QUANT# ?

    Hello,
Encounterd a strange FIFO logic when doing LT01, the PICKING sequence is based on QUANT# instead of the Good-Receipt-Date.
Could anyone please help to advise how to fix the problem ?
PS : YOu may have to give more detail advice as I am not very good in WM.
I could provide details if required.
    Thank you.

    from http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/c6/f845874afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
Strategy F: FIFO (First In, First Out)
    Use
With this picking strategy the system proposes the oldest quant in the storage type as the quant that should be transferred.
The system generally calculates the "age" (length of time in storage) of a quant on the basis of the goods receipt posting date from the Inventory Management (IM) application component. The system automatically sets the goods receipt date in the quant and in the transfer requirement for every goods receipt posting in IM. When the transfer order is created, this date is copied over to the quant record of the destination storage bin.
You can accept the goods receipt date that the system sets or you can enter a different date. Regardless of whether the system proposes the goods receipt date or you enter a different date, the date is used to calculate the age of the quant. This date influences the sorting sequence for each material.
    Prerequisites
When you define the storage type record to use this strategy, enter f in the Picking strategy field.

  • Goods receipt slip and creates multiple objkey in nast for edi

    Dear SAP Guru,
I have a po that has 2 lines and I do the goods receipt using the MIGO of all 2 line items.  I also have all the setup so that I create an idoc when goods receipt  is performed.  The problem is multiple idocs are created. So, for this it creates 2 idocs; each idoc has both PO lines.  When I look at the NAST table, there are 2 entries with 2 different objkey in material_doc_noyearcounter format. For example, the NAST table has 049000000120090001 and  049000000120090002.  My problem is, I only need one objkey in the NAST table so that it only create one idoc which contains both goods receipt line items.  Your expertise is greatly appreciated in this.

    2. Before you set up the output determination, you have to run the program RM07NCUS for each client in which you want to use the output determination function.
This program copies the basic settings from the SAP standard client (000).

  • Creating Invoice from goods receipts PO

Is posible create a invoice using all goods receipts PO to one provider, or is necesary create one invoice by goods receipt PO document?

    Hi
I didn't understand what you mean but my guess is
You want to merge multiple GRPO into One invoice ..
    If I am correct ,
Document Generation wizard is only available in A/R module side
You can take a look at this  from Sales A/R> Document generation wizard
But.. You can use  Copy from  to merge multiple document and convert into one if it is one provider .

  • How to create Zero Goods Receipt

Hi there world of SAP geniuses,
How do I create a zero goods receipt order?
My client's requirements demand that I create a zero goods receipt order.

The client has a progress payment requirement -  every stage of GR a certificate will be issued indicating workdone.
This is important because there are two points of information to the GR - interfaced and manual entry. Retention is involved and will be indicated at the GR stage. This has to flow into the invoice.
    E.G.
    Month        Work Done    GR         Cert
    Jan            100                 100         100
    Feb            150                 150         250
    March         0                     0*            250
So it all boils back down to creating a ZERO QUANTITY Goods receipt!
Thanks for all your help in advance.

  • CONFIRMATION OF  PURCHASE ORDERS CREATED FOR SERVICE

    Hi,
We have implemented the Extended Classic Scenario on SRM 5.0 and WF1400020 has been activated for Confirmation of Services. When a service confirmation has been done, but not yet approved, the system allows you to create another confirmation, even although the first confirmation was for the full quantity on the purchase order. Can anyone please assist in explaining why this is allowed.
    Thanx

    Hi Marinda,
your problem was mine. I've posted for it a message to SAP AG.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the system behaviour you have
described in this message is exactly how it is designed to work.
Technical reason for the system behaviour:
After approving a confirmation the system performs the following steps:
    1) it creates an IDoc which will be passed to the backend for creationof the goods receipt document on the backend.
    2) at the same time it creates an entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB for
the PO. If a user now would try to perform a confirmation he will get
the error message 'System user' already processing purchasing doc item
    'xxxxxxxxx' 'xxxxx'
    3) the entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB remains in the table until the
report CLEAN_REQREQ_UP has detected that the goods receipt document in
the backend has been posted succesfully. Then this entry will be deleted and the status of the PO will be set to "Fully delivered" respectively
in case of a partial delivery the open quantity will be reduced accordingly
If you want to achieve the immediate locking of the PO
for confirmation you always have to use a workflow without an approval
    step for the confirmation
I hope this information has helped you.
Please, is useful, reward points to me.
    Regards,
    Christian

  • FM/Class for creating service confirmation from service order

    Hello Gurus,
Does anyone know a FM/BAPI/Class to create service confirmation from service order ?
    With warm regards,
    Kallol Bhowmick

    Hello Kallol
You can trigger a confirmation from service order using action profile.
Here is how to define action profile:
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Actions > Actions in Transaction
    Dialog Stucture> Action profile:
    Object type = BUS2000116
    Context class = CL_DOC_CONTEXT_CRM_ORDER
    Dialog Stucture> Action Definition:
Processing time: Processing using selection report
Check box schedule automatically, Changeable in dialog and executable in dialog.
    Dialog Stucture> Processing types
Permitted processing types of actions: Select - Method Call
Settings method call: Method - COPY_DOCUMENT (you can also try COPY_DEF_ITEMS)
    Processing Parameter:
-Select change icon a new window opens - container editor
-select create icon another window opens - display container editor
    Here enter following:
    Element = PROCESS_TYPE
    Name = PROCESS_TYPE
    short desp = PROCESS_TYPE
    Tab > Dtype:
    Structure = CRMC_PROC_TYPE
    Field = PROCESS_TYPE
    Tab> initial value
Here maintain the transaction type of your confirmation.
save your action profile. Now assign action profile to Service oder transaction type.
    I hope this info helps.
