(a) How do I connect PCI-485/2 to FP-1001 modules (cables, adapters, Terminal Box or converters? (b) How do I wire FP-1001 modules to get a Full Duplex network up to PCI-485/2?
We are going to set up an RS-485 network with FieldPoint, we need to know which cables to buy and wiring diagram for connecting the FP-1001 modules to a PCI-485/2 card. Can I use CAT-5 UTP cables that we use for our existing LAN?

The RS-485 standard does not specify a particular connector jack and/or pin-out so you typically see variations throughout the products that provide RS-485 serial communications capabilities. For this reason, the FP-1000/1001 User Manual and the PCI-485/2 User manual do not specify how to connect to each other (or other devices) by pin numbers, but rather by signal names. Likewise, there is no common RS-485 cable with connectors offered for sale.
You will have to build your own custom cable. It is best to use a shielded cable with two twisted pairs.
From a host interface (PCI-485/2), you will cross wire the transmit and receive lines to the first device. This means that you are connecting Tx+(host) to Rx+(sensor), Tx-(host) to
Rx- (sensor), Rx+(host) to Tx+(sensor), and Rx-(host) to Tx-(sensor). The pinout for the PCI-485/2 should be in the user manual. I believe, but am not totally sure (please re-check the manual), that pin 1 is gnd, pin 4 is Rx+, pin 5 is Rx-, pin 8 is Tx+ and pin 9 is Tx-. You will use one of the twisted pairs for the Tx+ and Tx- lines (host) and the other twisted pair for the Rx+ and Rx0 lines (host).

On those cards you had a choice of either full duplex (used by default in XP) or another setting reached by right click properties of the card in Device Manager. I forget exactly but I think it's the Direct Sound support?that needs to be turned off within that properties panel to enable full duplex. It's an either or situation on these cards. If direct sound is on, the full duplex mode is deactivated. I think Direct Sound games would still work, just without the hardware buffer support. I guess you could just toggle that back on when gaming and off when conferencing. You probably need to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Connecting PCI-6035E and SCB-68 and control a laser to turn on/off
I have connected SCB-68 to a 15pin cable and connected to a laser. From computer I have connected PCI-6035E board to SCB-68 to control a Laser to turn on and off from a LabVIEW program. I have connected PIN#, 6,7, 14 from SCB-68 to 15pin connecter cable, and I connected PCI-6035E board to SCB-68. My program is not turning on the laser.

Thanks for the manual. Youll need to set up the jumpers for external modulation and laser enable as shown in section II of the manual.
On you 15 pin connector you will need to wire pin 4 to pin 5. This will enable the laser. Later, once you can verify modulation, maybe we can use the DAQ card to control the on/off.
You made mention of DACOUT0 and AOGND, these look like the signals you need to connect- DACOUT0 wired to pin 8 (EXT MOD) and AOGND to pin 7 (GND).
NOTE: Looks like 0V into the laser is no power, 1.350V into it is full power, so do not exceed 1.350V when commanding the analog output voltage.
Hopefully this should get you started. Wear the proper wavelength laser safety goggles.

Just use cable.
Can we succeed to connect them ?In general it is possible to connect the PCI-7344 to a motor drive without using a UMI-7764 but you will loose some safety features and the level of noise immunity for encoder signals will be decreased.

I navigated to Summary tab (not Info Tab) and checked "Sync with this ipad over Wi-Fi"

you'll see a pop-up and there's a tab called 'Devices' there. If you click that, you will be able to check a box that says 'prevent automatic syncing for iPods, iPads and iPhones' or something like that.

NB: if you don't even see the menu bar that has options like 'File, Edit, View, etc', first click the black/white square button on the top left of your screen, and then click 'show menu bar'. It should pop right up.

Halfway through the OS X Yosemite update it says I am not connected to the internet (when I know I am because I can search through the app store). How can I fix this? I cannot get on Safari because it requires an update to Mac OS X 10.9 or later.
Just to be clear. You have downloaded the Yosemite installer. However you say while it's updating you get the error you are not online. This is confusing since you shouldn't be able to use your computer in the process of updating.
Exactly where do you see you need to 10.9 to get on Safari? -
How do I fix phone. I'm getting waiting for activation error. When I try to sign in under imessage or facetime, I get a check network connection error. My connection is great because i'm using my wife's phone which upgraded with no problem. Please help someone??
wifi is fine, apple servers r to busy to effectively use facetime and imessages right now is all. and activation error is due to high server traffic as well. keep trying or wait, thats it

Did you respond to the verification email from Apple by clicking the Verify Now link? Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

I recently changed my wifi password at home and now my iphone will not connect. It will not ask me for a password just says will not connect to network. Advice on how to get iphone to ask network password for wifi?
First, try tapping on the network in the Wi-Fi settings and then tap "forget this network". Then reselect the network in the main Wi-Fi settings screen and see if will then ask for a password. If not, try resetting the Network Settings in the General -> Reset section and then reconnecting to your W-iFi.

Do E series DAQ boards work in full-duplex mode ? Especially PCI-6025E .
I believe I may have sent you an e-mail about this. However, I would be glad to post about it here as well.
Full-duplexing is not a term we commonly associate with our DAQ boards. It is usually used in reference to serial-type communication that can go both ways at the same time (such as a modem). The best answer I can give on this is that the 6025E you asked about has 3 additional DIO ports (PA, PB, PC) which can operate in Bi-Directional Mode. This allows them to function as both inputs and outputs. The 6025E User's Manual is the best place to find more information about this.

I presume you use your notebook with original preinstalled OS that you got with your notebook so it should work without problems.
Connect your notebook to the TV with HDMI cable. If your TV has several HDMI ports please enable right port on TV and after doing this use FN+F5 key combination to switch from notebook to the TV.
When you use FN+F5 key combination can you see several options including HDMI option? -
