A method or a bapi to add a contact to a customer

Today the only one solution I found is to attack the SAP table directly, but Is anybody know a BAPI to add a contact to a customer on SD ?

Hello All,
I wanted to add additional partner functions(2) to the list of partner functions which gets added by default while creating a customer. I am currently using BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEDATA1 to create the customer master. There i do not find any option to add my partner functions.
NOTE: I need to update KUNN2 field as well while adding my partner functions.
Could anyone please help here?

Hi,
No you should not feel confident with SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL.
It is used for only one very special case. The maintenance of consumer. And this should only be true from the transaction itself.
There exists other cases, one of the oldest one is the BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1. But is is exclusively reserved for SAP Online store.
Despite the fact CMD_EI_API is quite difficult to use, it has the main benefit that is it supported if being triggered directly.
For the maintenance of customers, there is NO BAPI and NO direct function module.
There are some functions modules like the one above where the name is looking nice. But these should not be used.
The only valid solutions are :
Below ECC 2005 (6.00), the only solution was batch input and DEBMAS idocs. See note 384462
Starting with ECC 2005 (6.00) and above: a synchronisation tool has been introduce. See class CMD_EI_API and VMD_EI_API

Hello,
I see that you suggest using BAPI BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE to create a Routing. What about Changing a Routing? I do not see a standard BAPI to do this.
We are currently writing a custom program to update the Routing via batch input/call transaction, but it has proved to be problematic.
Is there any other method (preferably an SAP Standard one) to update Routings?

How to use BAPI to add a new version for a claim number in WTY transaction.
I am using function module " BAPI_WARRANTYCLAIM_ADD_VERSION ".
It needs to copy all contents of previous version to a new version.
While doing so i am unable to copy fields like valic valoc etc. Any ways by which i can copy this values.
WTY will update PNWTYH , PNWTYV and PVWTY tables.

Hello everyone,
When I receive a phone number by text, and I want to save it in my contacts, how do i proceed?
Here's what I'm doing : long press on the phone number, select "add to contacts", select "create new contact", I enter first name and last name, but the phone number doesnt appear anywhere... I tap "Done" , but when I chech the contact details, there is no phone numbers, just the empty contact I created...
What am i doing wrong?

Yes, I just noticed this issue too. My friend sent me his address in a text, and I tapped on it and did "Add to Existing Contact" and selected him from the list and nothing happened. I tried a few times, and then once when I tried manually entering it, like 6 copies of the same address suddenly showed up. I deleted all but one, and then it didn't display an address anymore, even though I left one intact. I tried adding his address to a different contact using the same method and that worked, so I had to delete my contact and re-add his information fresh. Adding the address using the automatic URL in text worked after that. Ridiculous.

You can try BAPI_PARTNEREMPLOYEE_GETINTNUM and BAPI_ADDRCONTPART_SAVEREPLICA.
For mass updating of contact persons data it might be better to update such data from customer master transactions like VAP2 or XD02. The reason why I would not recommend to use BAPI_ADDRCONTPART is because it will not update the contact person table (KNVK) which is the main contact person table. VAP2 or XD02 will assure a consisten update on
both tables KNVK and ADRP. Therefore, you may use SXDA or LSMW or SM35 via batch input
Please have a look to notes 384462 and 306275.
If you still want to use directly Bapi_AddrcontPart-savereplica, please check the documentation or in the BOR (Transaction SWO1, Object BUS4003, method SAVEREPLICA and menu goto/documentation).

Add a field in the Customer Equipment Card and Service Contract called: Previous owner (with orange arrow to see BP card). The BP code of the previous owner should be transferred to this field.

When 50 instruments go to another BP we have to alter 200 records (close 50 CEC and 50 Contracts of the current BP - add 50 CEC and 50 Contracts to the new BP). This takes some hours to do the change.

If you want to know the previous owner of an instrument then this information should be visible in the CEC and Serive Contract screen in the field Previous Owner (add orange arrow to it as well). You should not have to close the CEC and Contract, but be able to overwrite it with the new BP code (like it was in version 2005).

First close all the CEC and Contracts of the current BP and add new CEC and Contracts to the new BP

How do you add a contact shortcut on the main page?

On my Droid X I was able to add a picture of my favorite contacts on my main page and call them with one-touch. VERY CONVENIENT! I got a Droid RAZR MAXX HD last week, but cannot seem to find where I can add a contact shortcut. Anybody know how to do this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

If you want to have a contact set up on a home screen where it defaults to either sending them a text or calls them at a certain number
Select the "APPS" button, scroll at the top to "Widgets": scroll till you get to "Direct Dial" ( if you want to phone them) or "Direct message" if you want to text message them.
Once you place the icon on a home screen it will open to your address(phone) book where you choose the contact.
This way you can add as many individuals and their preferred method of contact as you want.

Actually it works the same if your Skype is in the default view as shown in the video There is no longer an "Add to contact" button even though it's still in the menu. Skype is already focused on the search pane, so the step 1 in the video is no longer required, but the rest is the exactly the same.
1. Start Skype
2. Type the name of the contact you want to add (it's already focused on the box)
3. Click "Search Skype" or press the enter key to request the search.
4. Find the contact in the list and click "Add to Contacts".
5. Type your welcome message and click "Send".
There are longer ways to perform the same task, but this method is one step shorter than the video. I'd hardly call the video useless.

It's easy on Android, but I've not sussed it on the iPhone - can't create a group etc. Tried to create a group on Mac, but it either doesn't exist or won't sync to the phone with usb, nor will other contact details created on Mac. I'd rather not use the cloud. I'm sure contacts used to sync to my old iPod touch in Snow Leopard.
Is it not more logical to have the phone as the main source of this sort of data? We're more likely to update on a device we carry all the time surely?

In your Mail Account in Preferences, go to the Signature tab, create whatever you want then select Attach Signature and add it to your account. You can create multiple signatures and apply whichever you want from the Signature Box of your New Message panel.
