A User facing a issue of "Collaboration Folder is not created"

Dear All,
A user facing an issue of collaboration folder is not created even through they have created in the SRM Potal.
Can anybody put some light on the issue as soon as possible.

Issue with Collaboration Status property - not displaying discussions item

Hi all,
We have a strange issue. We are displaying the collaborationstatus property in some of our iviews. When I add a feedback to a resource, the icon under this column appears and on clicking opens the sub menu with item Feedback (1). But when I start a discussion on the same document and then check the sub menu under this icon, it does not show the item for Discussions, which it should as the collaboration status property is composed of discussion_topic_count property also.
Since this is working on one of the systems in our landscape, I checked the settings of the repository managers and services. Everything is same on both servers. But it works on one and does not work on another.
Has anyone faced this issue before? Does anyone know the solution to this?
BTW I extracted all the KM property values for the file on which I had started the discussion and the discussion_topic_count property was not available in the list, even though the properties corresponding to feedback, reviews and comments were available.

Even if I don't use a custom item renderer class and stick it straight into the list control, I still get the same exact issue.

Database folder is not created while installing sap netweaver 7.01

Hello,
i am trying to install sap netweaver on my laptop, but i am facing a problem while installing it.
installation gets completed within few minutes and even no databse folder is being created in the drive.
when i try to start the the application server a error message appears
"service name is invalid,
more help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2185
start database failed"
suggest me a solution please.
is it so because before running the main setup, i installed the maxdb seprately and then later i uninstalled it before running the main setup??
laptop configuration
ram 1 gb, installing in e:,java version latest.

Exchange 2013 public folder can not create folder

hello,
we have migrate public folders to20102013.
we can not createfolders / files inpublic folders.Access Rights seems to be
ok on the control panel
in Outlook, we can not apply change permissions
what can i do to fix that ?
all the public folder have migrate on the secondary mailbox public folder like the technet KB

CUA - Users not created in Central System

Hi - Just put in CUA into a Solution Manager 4.0 client - and have the following issue.
After performing SCUG - the users are brought into the central system BUT not created into the central system.
For example:
Child system is CLNT100
Parent system is CLNT200
In CUA - if I search on the user - I can see it exists in CLNT100, but no entry is created in CLNT200.
This is an issue as I can't use SU10 in CUA - to do mass changes as the users don't exist in this client.
I am pretty experienced with CUA - but have not seen this before - is there some new settitng that I need to make to create the users in the CUA client when performing SCUG?

Hi - you only need to perform SCUG in the central system.
I have brought all the users accross from each child system.
I think I may have incorrectly analysed the error.
What I am trying to do is use SU10 in the Central system to make changes on users in the child systems. Issue is that none of the users that are in the child system only show up in SU10.
I therefore think that this is an issue with SU10 in CUA parent - as it is only picking up uses if they exist in this CUA parent client (i.e. not if they only exist in the child systems)
Is there any way to change the behaviour of SU10?

I am really tensed for the same...
Actually the error occurs in the following case:
1. I am creating a Parent folder in robohelp with the name ABC..
2. Next Under ABC i have created 2 separate folders say XYZ and EFG.
3. Under XYZ i have created various Topics say 2 or 3.
4. Under EFG i have created various Topics say 7 or 8.
5. Now, i have created a TOC with name for ABC (Parent Folder.)
6. Next i have dragged and dropped my two sub folders that i have created under ABC in Project Set up wizard that is XYZ and EFG, in order to generate the webhelp first and then the CHM file fo rthe same.
7. Webhelp is successfully getting generated.
8. But when i convert the Webhelp to CHM Converter, after few seconds the robohelp gets halt and it shuts up the robohelp, showing a message dialog box that the Adobe Robohelp 11 is Troubleshooting for the error, the Windows manager will get back to you..Someting like this, the .CHM file for the same gets generated on the described path, but when i click on it, it does not open and shows the error as "Cannot open file: mk:@MSITStore: C:\\Users\..\Desktop\filename.chm".
Please help me in sorting the above issue.

1. How to link all the topics with the parent folder.
2. How to Merge the projects.
Can you please provide me the link where i can get tutorial to create a TOC for multiple files in a same TOC and to generate a chm for them.
Actually for single project folder i have worked successfully. But, its first time i have to create a chm with lot many sub folders in it, as like one create a book.

Facing an Issue with Payables Open Interface Import

I am facing an issue with the Payables Open Interface Import...
My Requirement is:
1. Need to upload the PO, Supplier, Invoice #, Invoice Date details to custom table (through web ADi)
2. From custom table storing in the AP invoice interface tables.
3. From Interface table, calling API (Payables Open Interface Import) which wil create the invoive (PO matched)
Now, If user has given wrong data some reasons....Payables Open Interface Import has rejected that entry....user has checked this and corrected later and trying to create the same invoice with the correcte data....As there is a rejected a line exists on the Header interface, line interface...even though if he pass the correct data in the second time it is cosidering that rejected row and not processing the correct row...
Can any one suggest on this...

When processing a record, you can check if another ap_invoice_interface record exists for the same invoice number and
1) Delete the old record and then insert a new one
OR
2) Update the old record instead of creating a new one

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
The iPhone4 runs iOS7 without any issues or performance problems.
Apple does not provide a method to downgrade the iOS on any iDevice. Discussion of such matters in these forums is against the terms of use.

"The home folder could not be created because the network name cannot be found" error in AD users and computers

Our home folders are stored on a non-windows NAS device and with Windows XP and 2003 we've always got the above error when creating or modifying users home folders, even when the shares were al ready created and being used.
However this was never really a big issue as the error that popped up was really for information and finshed with a "we've modified the user properties anyway, please create the share manually" type message.
Unfortunately now we are moving to windows 7 and 2008R2, this last part of the the message is missing and it won't accept the correct value.
This issue may be in the way that the NAS device shares the folder, as only the username that matches the folder name can access the share. This behaviour can't be modified.
Is there a way to get Windows 7/2008R2 AD users and computers to behave the same way that Windows XP/2003 does , i.e. don't try and create the share just set the value in the user properties ?
The AD is still at 2003 level and we can still use Windows XP/2003 clients to make the changes but this is a bit of a limitation.

I think the important bit is
The user account has sole access to a shared folder path that cannot be accessed by the administrator account.
We manually create the shares on our NAS and then just want to enter the path in the profile tab, I suppose the question is how to we stop it trying to create the shares ?

Password cotrol-cFolder-Collaborative Folder-Main Vendor & Sub-vendor

We are interacting with main vendor and sub-vendor for document submission and its approval through collaborative folder of cFolder tool.
In this respect, only main vendor's UID and its password is used for collaboration for the above process. The same UID and password is shared by sub-vendor also.Every 90 time elapse, system prompts user to change its password. If any user i.e. sub-vendor or main vendor changes the password, then other user are not able to login into system as all various user are logging into from country's different location.
Our objective is to control the password in such a way that only one user i.e. main vendor can change the password and other location's sub-vendor need not face the change of password for same collaborative folder
Exmple
At one location.
Main Vendors' UID=V_1000346
Password            =password123
Diferent location
Under Same UID   =V_1000346
Sub-vendor UID    =V_1000456
Password             =password456

Sub-vendor is performing action on behalf of main vendor under same UID=V_1000346 and same password assigned earlier.
Under Same UID =V_1000346
Each user logs into cfolder under collaborative scenario of cFolder.
System prompts user to change password for each user logs into the system after elaps of 90 days. In this caes any user of main vendor or sub-vendor who so ever first gets chance to log into the sytem is prompted for change of password.
Can you suggest that each individual user(having UID and password) will be able to log into Cfolder in same collaborative scenarion under same collaborative folder.

I am having the same issues--just got off phone with customer service rep--was told that my phone is in recoveyr mode and that I would have to restore it, however, the only things that would be restored would be from my last backup which was in November 2013! I was also told that apple users should not update as soon as the update is available (so why are they sending it to us if they're not sure that there will be any problems!!!). I can't restore now since I am in work--will do it when I go home tonight. In the meantime, I am without a working iphone for the day! This is horrible--I see I'm not the only one who has experienced this!

IPad camera (user-facing) horizontal lines...

I've had iPad 2 for a few months. All fine...
I just went to use the camera that faces the user (not something I use often but has always worked thus far) but is corrupt with horizontal lines. Forward camera is fine but user-facing one is unusable. Screen fine in all other instances.
I've protected this with my life so very unlikely it is damaged (does direct sun affect the camera?) so a bit unsure what this is

For nay issues with the camera on your iPad, refer to the article below to sort it out. Start with force closing the app as well as restarting your device. If it is still having issues then you may want to take your iPad to an Apple Retail Store or and Authorized Service Provider.

User and Group Issue

Hello All,
I am facing a issue in assigning users to groups in shared services. Version 11.1.1.3
Actually users are present in LDAP and groups i created in Native Directory. Now i am writing Maxl .. Alter user ... add to group.... but its throwing a error that user doesnot exist, though the user exists in LDAP. I tried assigning users in groups manually, it worked. Can any one tell me how to do it through MAXL or any other way as i dont want to do it manually because there are 100s of user.
2) Can any one please tell me the use of Updateuser and provisioning user utility. In what scenario we use them?

create or replace user 'essuser' type external;
alter user 'essuser' add to group essgroup;
or
create or replace user 'essuser@LDAPNAME' type external;
alter user 'essuser@LDAPNAME' add to group essgroup;

Wireless users facing frequent connection and disconnection

Hi,
I am running 5508 controller with version 7.0 and 1141 access points.. I am facing a problem on user connectivity.
Wireless Users are getting frequent connection and disconnection. These users are not getting connected to the access point nearby although this access point is up and running. I ahve tried reducing the power level, configured the AP after resetting it. But nothing helps.
Has anybosy faced this issue ? May i know what could be the reason for this??

If user have Read permission, they can copy it. So actually you cannot restrict user from copy your files if they could read/edit.
Some programs could help restrict users from edit/modify/copy the content of their files such as Office files, PDF files etc as Oscar said above.
