    Hi ,
Please check whether the  correct data  is coming from sender side .  and check the j2ee engine runtime parameters.

When I execute from SPROXY test tab, vendor is created in SAP.
But when i test end to end i.e by feeding the file adapter with the vendor file i don't see the vendor creating in SAP.
The message is successful in PI moni and in ABAP moni. Cant see any errors
Appreciate your inputs in this solving this please

    Hello Keerthi,
I was facing the same issue. I found that we can use SXMB_MONI and SMQ2 in the SAP side as well (Backend ABAP System where the Server Proxy is created). If you are able to see the messages in SXMB_MONI of the ERP system then your proxy is working fine however, have problems in ERP System. Follow through the error message it will be easy for you to perform error analysis.
You can ignore if you have already done it!

  • ABAP inbound proxy deep structure

    Hello Experts,
This is regarding ABAP inbound proxy structures.
I have a structure in XI which looks like this
    <Bill of Material> (0:unbounded)
       <Material>     (0:unbounded)
       </Material>
    </Bill of Material>
When I generate a proxy structure for this message, a similar structure will get generated in proxy with table types for 0:unbounded types.
Here, how can I loop through the structure and extract the materials associated with each Bill of materials? I have to call BAPI for creating material first if not exists and then BOM for each BOM in the structure.
Any help with sample coding is really appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ricky

    Hi Ricky !
    Try with something like this:
    LOOP AT your_bill_of_material_object.
        WRITE: your_bill_of_material_object-material_field.
    END-LOOP.
where the outer object is the bill of material and inside the loop make a reference to the current fields of the bill of material record. You may need another loop inside this one to recover each material record once your are pointing to the current bill of material.

    Matias.

  • Inbound Proxy Error in Target System

    Hi
My scenario ís MQ>XI>SAp R/3. I am successfully able to pick file from MQ and I see the success flag in SXMB_MONI(XI) and XI sends to SAP R/3 via Inbound proxy.
But on recieving system (R/3) via proxy the data is not recieved correctly.
I see Failure message with error in R/3 SXMB_MONI and the error is as follows.
I guess my Mapping is correct as it passes trhough XI successfully. Is something wrong with the Inbound proxy?
Kindly let me know your views on the same going through the error message I am unable to interpret anything. As the date format which I am recieving is correct.

    Best Regards
    Swetank

    Hi,
When u define ur Data type (Messageinterface) dataelement as xsd:Date it is of the format CCYY-MM-DD. (ex 2003-12-31). So yyyyMMdd is not compatable with the ABAP data type that has been generated at the proxy end.
Make sure dats-8 and xsd:Date use the same Date format. This might be the error that i can see.
    xsd:date format

  • SAP Inbound Proxy Error

    Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue when executing inbound proxy message. After the message completed, the message status end up with Error. The error says below details.
"Information about the method parameters is missing
    for the interface INTERFACE_NAME
(ABAP interface, request message MT_Fault, request
    message namespace....)"
I am also raising Fault messages from ABAP Proxy message programming. In SXMB_MONI while expanding all the messages I can able to see the application message but also i am seeing the above mention errors.
Any Idea why this error appears?
    Thank you
    Magesh.

Hi Diptendu - I don't think it's an issue with URL.
    Did  you register the service?

  • ABAP provider proxy error using Fault Message Type

    Hello experts,
I'm using a provider ABAP proxy with a fault message type in the inbound service interface.
In the ABAP code on the backend system, I need to fill a database table.
in case the record exist --> fault + message back to SAP PI to be alerted.
I do this with a RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE.
    I generated all necessary proxies.
The error I got on the backend system (SXMB_MONI) is this:
Application Error - Call Inbound Proxy
    SAP:Category>Application</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="ABAP">APPLICATION_ERROR</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="xxxxx">FMT_xxxxxx</SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage>
      <SAP:Stack>The application triggered an exception</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
Can it be that I need to use something else instead of the RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE. to get something back to SAP PI?
Now the error is logged in SXMB_MONI on the backend system.
    Please advice.
    Thanks a lot

  • Call transaction in ABAP Inbound proxy

    Hi All,
I am processing transaction KKPAN in inbound proxy. As per my knowledge, there is no BAPI or other way of processing this transaction. I have recorded a BDC, and I am calling this BDC using Call Transaction in my Inbound proxy.
The problem is, control never returns back to the proxy after I call this BDC using Call Transaction.  However, interestingly, If there is an error in BDC, the control comes back to the proxy. Any ideas, why it does not successfully update data using BDC in inbound proxy?
    Your inputs are appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Navdeep

Thanks for you response Akshay !
However, It didn't solve my problem. In my case, the inbound proxy class is being called successfully. The problem comes, when I use Call Transaction in the class. The call transaction works and returns error message, if there is some error in the processing; however, for when there is no error in the BDC data, the control never comes back after call transaction.
However, if I use SPROXY to test this interface, by copying the payload of the message and using the same user (As in Comm Channel), I am able to call Call Transaction without any problem. The data gets created successfully.
Now this is getting really tricky.
    Still looking for ideas

    Navdeep

  • Upload data from abap program to abap inbound proxy

    Hi,
I have requirement to upload flat file data to an internal table and call Inbound proxy abap class and pass all the internal table data to tha proxy clas method structure.
So could any one help me how to send/pass data to class, Please give some e.g.
    thanks
    bobby
Edited by: Bobby G on Nov 18, 2009 4:35 AM

    hi;
you may follow the following ways
    1. create a report and by using GUI_upload, give the path as default , you can convert the flat file's data into internal table.
    2. call that report in proxy method by returning parameter as a table, this table can use further in the proxy.
    Another way, you have
    1.  Create a transparent table and by using the GUI_Upload in report,  you may  store the data.
    2.  from step 1, you may use data in the proxy.

  • ABAP Consumer Proxy error after upgraded from 7.0 SP14 to 7.01 SP3

The ABAP consumer proxy was created in ECC6 with Netweaver 7.0 SP14.  After the system was upgraded to Netweaver 7.01 SP3 the proxy call started to get error back.
The first error message from the service provider said "SoapException: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction".  This error was resolved by manually putting the correct action in the SOAManager configuration.
Ran the same test again and then the service provider complained about the To field in the SOAP Header.  The error message said "SoapHeaderException: SOAP header To was not understood".
Below is the To field in the Requesting XML message from the 7.0 SP14 system that worked fine:
    <n3:To soap-env:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns:n3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing"
    xmlns:soap-env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope">

Below is the To field in the Requesting XML message from the 7.01 SP3 system that did not work:

It looks like the issue is with the xmlns:soap-env element that has different values in these two systems.  Searched in SDN but could not find any related information.  Please help if anyone has experienced similar issue or knows how to fix it.
    Thanks,

Got solution from SAP through an OSS message.  Below is SAP's solution:
Either the Message ID protocol should be switched off on the SAP
consumer side or turn on this protocol support on the .NET provider.
To switch off the Message ID protocol:
    1. start the soa manager
    2. find the consumer proxy
    3. find the corresponding logical port
    4. jump to the 'Messaging' tab
    5. choose the 'Suppress ID Transfer' from the dropdown list of the Message ID Protocol field
Besides this setting I also have to specify the operation in the Operation specific tab of the logical port configuration.

Can some one provide/giude  a sample code on how to call a BAPI from generated Method (Inbound Proxy) and how are the table parameters passed from Proxy to BAPI.
    Thanks
    Ravi/

    Hello Ravi,
In the proxy before calling the BAPI, construct the table, fill it with the appropiate values by lopping over the proxy request object. Now use this table for calling BAPI
    Cheers,
    Naveen

  • ABAP Inbound Proxy Problem

    Hello -
I have an Legacy DB2 to R/3 interface and am using a JDBC Sedner adapter and inbound ABAP proxy in R/3.
Since this is an intial load i am trying to Insert all the records.
Though i don't get any errors the table that i am trying to update is not getting updated through the ABAP Proxy though there are 1000 records in the legacy DB2 table.
I have a COMMIT WORK in the proxy.
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Hi,
Please can you check in the SXMB_MONI if the data is going to ABAP Proxy in Payload.
If yes then there is some problem with the code. Try debugging the code by putting a break point.
Also, check in the SXMB_MONI of the application system if the data has come.
    Regards
    Vijaya
