Abap Query - Creation of Report

Hi guys,
I do have a question to ABAP Query:
I want to create a report that shows me all current active employees and all of their corresponding positions from Infotype 1.
I have got it to the part where the report gives me all employees (active and withdrawn).
The question is:
How can I show only active employees as of todays date?

but if I enter date 31.12.9999 and status of active. it gives me for some the latest record and for some two - though I could not find out why?!
I should say, I am using logical database PNP for this query

Your question is very broad based.
ABAP Query is a simple tool in the hands of the Functional consultants to extract information from the tables directly ( u can use complex logic as well ), Example - List all sales orders within a particular period.
But, BW reports are used not for Transactional analysis but for Strategic reporting. Depends upon the nature of data , users of data, availability of data, you should decide. It needs investment in BW module. Report the total sales by region, product etc with trends and graphs.

How to convert an ABAP Query into a report?

Hi ..
My requirement is that I need to replace an existing query with a new ABAP report.Is there any formal way to do the same?

Use Tcode SQ01.
Give the query name press Enter.
The query will be listed in the table below.
Select the Query => From the Main menu select QUERY => More Functions => Display Report Name.
You will get the program name, now go to Se38 and display the program...

ABAP Query: creation of local field (Subtraction between 2 dates)

Hi,
I want to create a local field which will calculate the number of days between 2 dates (for example, document date - posting date).
What I did:
1) Created the user group in SQ03
2) Created the infoset in SQ02
3) I'm stucked at the creation of the Query in SQ01. I'm at the «Create Query: Select field screen». I clicked on Edit --> Local Field --> Create. I selected the «calculation field» attribute. I clicked on the «Complex calculation button», but I don't know how to write my formulate DOCUMENT DATE - POSTING DATE.

ABAP Query for Asset Reporting - Error in generating Infoset

Hi friends,
While generating Infoset - for the SAP standad infoset (SAPQUERY/AM01 -FIAA - Inventory information)-I am getting an Error as
"The field "BERDATUM" is unknown, but there is a field with the similar name". I am unable to resolve the error.
It will be greate if this can be answered by someone.

ABAP QUERY Report : column number change

Hi friends,
I need to modify the existing ABAP QUERY REPORT.
I have added a new field in the selection screen.
When I execute the query, it(our new filed) is displaying at the end of the columns.
But I want it to be at 8th columns. please help me.
When I try to change the out position to "8"at "Basic list" -> select check box of our field and double clict it, I am getting the following error.
Warning: Overlapping fields
Those fields overlapped by other fields will not be displayed in their entirety.
So I could not display the new field at 8 th column.
Guys. Please help me.

You have to change the position of each field after 8th column
suppose you added your new field at the 8th column position
then all the subsequent fields positions you have to adjust as per their length
You have to do like this to adjust the columns

Excess Inventory/Scheduled Receipts Report using ABAP Query.

I want to create a ABAP query for Excess inventory & Scheduled receipts in a single report. I have identified tables, fields and some extra calculated fields in the report. Here are the following tables and fields.
EKPO-MATNR      ( Material number)
EKPO-WERKS     ( Plant)
MAKT-MAKTX       (Material Discription)
MARC-MAABC      ( ABC indicator)
LFA1-NAME1        ( Supplier name)
MBEW-STPRS      (Total value)
EKET-EINDT         ( Item delivery date)
RIBOF-AMOUNT
S939-SPWOC or S032-SPWOC
Calculation fields : Value execess this week.extend value, over or under this week, onhand inventory for last week and this week.
Here my question is, when i was creating a infoset, how do i maintain relationship or joins from one table to another table...Is there any sequence for the above tables? Pl suggest. When i was adding all the tables in a infoset and try join the tables...it says illegal join...
Pl suggest me.

What i need to display is the remainder of the transaction that was received... if it is zero (0), i don't want to display it.
i.e.
transact # 100 inqty = 5
transact # 200 outqty =1
I'd like to display
transact # 100     qty on hand = 4
right know the transaction # that i am displaying is transact # 200.
And also, it needs to be warehouse oriented. because i can have multiple warehose transactions.... and i am getting that wrong too.

Generating a report using ABAP query

Hi All,
I want to generate a anlytical report using ABAP query, There are 3 different transactions/steps have to be executed to get this data in an actionable form.
1. MB52 - Unrestricted Stock
2. ZCustomquery - Custom query in SAP R3
3. Combine above two in a single report.
Please suggest me how can i proceed,
1. Example i have created query name called Finalrepot
2. How can i call above zcustomquery and Transaction (MB52) in the Query.

ABAP Query to Report

Hi All,
There is a ABAP Query in production. I need to replicate the same as a report. How do I do it ? I am not aware of abap objects . Please help me .

Hello Amit,
The best option is go to SQ01 in production. In this Query->Display report name. Pick up the name and goto SE38. enter the name and open the program. Then goto menu UTILITIES->More Utilities->Download. This will download the program. Go to your development system and follow the second step but now do an upload into a new Z program. This will generate a report fro the same query which you can take to production using transport request.

Including MANDT field in ABAP Query Report as output field

Hi All,
I need to display the client(MANDT) field in the ABAP Query Report as an output field.
But in SQ01 where we select the fields to be displayed as output in query , this field is not visible.
I later checked in the Infoset. Even in the infoset the field MANDT is greyed out and all other fields are active.
Can someone tell me how to include the field MANDT in the output of the ABAP Query Report.
