ABAP query for PI

Hi all,
I created a ABAP query for physical inventory report.
I used the table ISEG and i got the relevant output like material, diff value, batch,PI doc number.
But i cant able to get the difference quantity posted.
How to proceed

Isn't the quantity found in MENGE (quantity in base unit) or ERFMG (quantity in issue unit)?

Use Table BSIK <Open Items of AP > & BSAK <AP Cleared items>......
For Query you can use SQ01.
USE BSID & BSAD for AR open/clear items...
LFA1, LFB1 are vendor master data tables

ABAP Query for Asset Reporting - Error in generating Infoset

Hi friends,
While generating Infoset - for the SAP standad infoset (SAPQUERY/AM01 -FIAA - Inventory information)-I am getting an Error as
"The field "BERDATUM" is unknown, but there is a field with the similar name". I am unable to resolve the error.
It will be greate if this can be answered by someone.

ABAP query for matching material in another table

Hi Experts,
I have to do auto GR through an interface by calling MB01 for that i have written a BDC and the application is calling that. but i have to put a restriction that it should only do it for few materials that are in ztable "Zbulkmaterial" it has only one field matnr. I need to match materials in this field with the matial in EKPO, but i cant match it directrly, i have to track that in such way :-
slip_no from "zval_wb" (this table dsnt have PO number), then slip_no1(diff than 1st slip no.) from "zallow_sl3"(this table has PO number) by that PO we can get material No from EKPO, and then i have to match it with zbulkmaterial-matnr
As i am new i dnt no what will be the code for this please tel me the query i have to write, is it involves 3 tables i m not able to do that matching of materials.

ABAP QUERY FOR THE VENDOR EMAIL ADRESS

I am asked to create a report that generates the vendor acct number,partner functions and email address of the vendor. Iam able to create a report for the vendor acct number and partner function by using a query on tables LFA1 and WYT3. Iam not able to include the vendor email address from table ADR6. Can any one tell me how I can also include the vendor email adress into the report. How I can link all the 3 tables LFA1,WYT3,ADR6??

Are you developing a report for this code?
Prepare a executable report in Se38 and go to the Tcode
SE93 and there create a Report Transaction (second radiobutton) by giving the Program name and screen number 1000. Save it, Come out and execute that transaction code.

Logical database of ABAP query

Hi,
Can anybody please let me know what is the Logical database for ETXDCI, ETXDCH & ETXDCJ (Tax tables) with any sales document tables? I need to develop one ABAP query for the users.
I am a Functional person so I would like to know Can anybody please let me know how I can find out the Logical database?

Try the BRF logical database.
I found it by searching in which programs the tables were used.
It show program SAPDBBRF which is the program for logical database BRF.

ABAP query to find delivery number of a sales document

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone help me how can i create an ABAP query to fetch the delivery number of a sales order. What are the tables to be joined.
Through tables I got the solution. From VBAP table I fetched the sales order numbers. I copied the sales order numbers and opened VBFA table. In the preceding documents field I had pasted those sales orders numbers. Then I've selected subsequent document category 'J' to get the deliveries.
But now how to write an ABAP query for this.

Issue in ABAP Query varient

I have created the varient name CUS& for attaching the abap query varient in tranport request. I have done this. but I am geting following error. please help me on this. thanks.
The varient is created as Protected by default. I can't able to create the varient unprotected. Can you tell me how to create unprotected varient for SAP Query? becuase other user can't able to change the varient it is giving the error message with my user name as " No authorization to change the varient <varient name> Protected by <my user name>".
Please could you help me how to fix it. this issue?

ABAP-query going in infinite loop

Hello all,
I have one on abap-query in which i am displaying data for delivery details that is table LIKP and LIPS.
In this query i also have some code to get the sale order details from the the delivery details.
I have also used one FM module in this query as well as select endselet stamt.
When i run my quey it i going in infinite loop. I am not getting any thing . Each time i have to exit the screen.
Can anyone please tell me wat is the problem, why it is going in infinite loop.

As i am new to the query i do not know how to display internal table data to report along with my data coming from ABAp-query.
for eg i have three field to display suppose A , B and C.
Field A and B are coming from query and i have to display field C from internal table.

ABAP Query Quantity totals wrongly - M.Type 101+, 102-

Hi Friends,
Could any one help me in this? I created an ABAP Query for the combination of T.codes MB51 & MB52. When I see the total qty for the item which has GR and Goods return document.........say first by 101 I rerceive 5 nos and using 122 returns 3 nos. Here Query shows total is 8nos instead of 2 nos.
The same way correnponding price also shows for 8nos instead 2 nos.

You can use MSEG-SHKZG field for +(plus)/-(minus) indicator where 'H' is -(minus) and 'S' is +(plus).

ABAP Query - Not showing the required changes through Z T.Code

I have a ABAP Query for OPEN DELIVERY QUANTITY (T.Code - ZABC). I change something in QUERY and activate. After that i execute it, and saw required changes.
But when i execute it with the T.Code - ZABC, it does not show the changes. Even i Save and Test with the SQ01 t.code.
Please tell me, what is the problem in it. Why not showing the required changes through T.Code - ZABC.

Dear, it seems that you have changed the query in SQ02 and then just save it and not generated.
or may be after generation again clicked on SAVE button.
So untill unless you will not generate the query, it won't work.
Secondly, by chanegs in the query, i don't think it changes the name of the main program.

Adding code in ABAP Query(ABAP HR)

I have created an ABAP Query for getting the Absence details of employee within a specified period.I am populating the fields
Employee number, Organization Unit,Absence start date,Absence hours, Absence enddate.
If an employee is in leave for 10 days, this information will be stored in PA2001 table,and this table is not Organization specific.
During the specified period(20 days), if an employee is under two Organization units(5 days in 1st Org Unit,15 days in 2nd Org Unit). The query is extracting two records for the same employee, because of two Organization units. And while populating the data, the query is getting the Absence information from PA2001 table, and this is causing overlapping of data. So it is showing the Absence details for that employee as 40 days(20 days in 1st Org Unit and 20 days in 2nd Org Unit,Instead of total 20 days). So i would like to add validation over here after extraction of data from the PA2001 table,before displaying the data.
I have tried adding the code in the infoset, at END OF SELECTION Event,but i am not able to change the list, as i am not able to access the tables used by the Query.
Can anybody suggest me where to add the code in the Query, so that i will be able to solve this issue, instead of changing the code in the Report program generated by the Query.

you can look at BAPI_PTIMEOVERVIEW_GET
this gives the output back for the selected period so you don't get alle the records back from you're pa2001 table. (only this overview doesn't take into considerationd the distiction the difference between leave and illness)
further on if you consider using the pa2001 table you can loop through the begda and endda and add 1 day for each record and programm the logic how you want to intrepet each day you'reself

Excess Inventory/Scheduled Receipts Report using ABAP Query.

I want to create a ABAP query for Excess inventory & Scheduled receipts in a single report. I have identified tables, fields and some extra calculated fields in the report. Here are the following tables and fields.
EKPO-MATNR      ( Material number)
EKPO-WERKS     ( Plant)
MAKT-MAKTX       (Material Discription)
MARC-MAABC      ( ABC indicator)
LFA1-NAME1        ( Supplier name)
MBEW-STPRS      (Total value)
EKET-EINDT         ( Item delivery date)
RIBOF-AMOUNT
S939-SPWOC or S032-SPWOC
Calculation fields : Value execess this week.extend value, over or under this week, onhand inventory for last week and this week.
Here my question is, when i was creating a infoset, how do i maintain relationship or joins from one table to another table...Is there any sequence for the above tables? Pl suggest. When i was adding all the tables in a infoset and try join the tables...it says illegal join...
Pl suggest me.

What i need to display is the remainder of the transaction that was received... if it is zero (0), i don't want to display it.
i.e.
transact # 100 inqty = 5
transact # 200 outqty =1
I'd like to display
transact # 100     qty on hand = 4
right know the transaction # that i am displaying is transact # 200.
And also, it needs to be warehouse oriented. because i can have multiple warehose transactions.... and i am getting that wrong too.

ABAP Query display variant problem

Hi,
We have three different SAP clients development DV1, Staging ST1 and production PC1. I have created an abap query for which I m trying to create a global display variant (not user specific). I m able to do so easily in DV1 and PC1 systems. But when I try to create a display variant on ST1 by first running the report and then going to menu Settings->Layout->Save . I find that by default the User-Specific checkbox is selected and disabled. Because of this I can create only user specific display variants for my queries.
Where can I change the settings so that when I go to the above menu the User-specific checkbox is enabled and I m able to create global display variants ?

I am confuse after reading your question , any way we can adding "default" variant in SQ01. You can also assign the same variant in SE93 , when you create T-code for the specific query !!.
Well if it doesnt solve your problem ..please explain your question with the help of tr. codes and what youre trying to do !!
