  • About dynamic  where clause

    hi
    on Jdev 11.1.2.3.0
    Imade dynamic search (where clause)
    It woks fine with me
    but I want to be sure from the best way to do that
    the ideia is to run search according to what is the user chose
    on (Hr) schema employees table
    the end user could search according to departmentID only
    or job id only or both of them or display all employees taable data if there are no seletion
    I used
    this.setWhereClause( );
    this.defineNamedWhereClauseParam();
    this.setNamedWhereClauseParam();
    methods in employeesImpl and I revale it to the client interface to display two text boxes and a button
    my full code is
    ================
    public void setwhereClause(String jobid ,String departmentId ) {
    if (jobid==null & departmentId ==null) {
    this.skipNamedWhereClauseParam ("P_DEPARTMENT_ID");
    this.skipNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid");
    this.setWhereClause("1=1");
    this.executeQuery();
    if (jobid==null & departmentId !=null) {
    this.setWhereClause("EmployeesEo.DEPARTMENT_ID =:P_DEPARTMENT_ID");
    this.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("P_DEPARTMENT_ID", null, null);
    this.setNamedWhereClauseParam("P_DEPARTMENT_ID",departmentId );
    this.skipNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid");
    this.executeQuery();
    if (jobid!=null & departmentId ==null) {
    this.setWhereClause("EmployeesEo.JOB_ID=:P_jobid ");
    this.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid", null, null);
    this.setNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid",jobid );
    this.skipNamedWhereClauseParam ("P_DEPARTMENT_ID");
    this.executeQuery();
    if (jobid!=null & departmentId !=null)
    this.setWhereClause( "EmployeesEo.JOB_ID=:P_jobid and EmployeesEo.DEPARTMENT_ID =:P_DEPARTMENT_ID " );
    this.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("P_DEPARTMENT_ID", null, null);
    this.setNamedWhereClauseParam("P_DEPARTMENT_ID",departmentId );
    this.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid", null, null);
    this.setNamedWhereClauseParam("P_jobid",jobid );
    this.executeQuery();
    ==========================================
    but Iwas geting error when I run the search For the First Time only without selecting any thing
    the error wase about ( attempt to define parameter which is not in the where clause)
    one time for both variable if there are no selection
    anothe for the P_DEPARTMENT_ID when I search for job
    and the oposet for P_jobid when I search for department
    so why this eror came despite of IF Statment existance
    and why when I run search for both parameter job and departemnt
    next time i search for all data or department only or job only
    the error dosnot come again
    Isuccesd to avoide this error by adding P_DEPARTMENT_ID and P_jobid
    as bind varable in the same names for the employeesVo
    note
    (Idont want to use view Criteria for a segnificant reason)
    and becasue Ineed to pass varaible to open a report_
    in the same way user search_
    and Ican't catch bindings for the view criteria_
    my qusetions
    1-Is what i Did is the correct way I mean adding the binde varable visicaly to SQL tab In the EmployeesVO
    2- why is the error of ( attempt to define paramter not iexist in the where clause mainwhile the If Statment condition dosnot succesd)
    3- how to add bindig variable programaticly without adding it phisicaly in the EmployeesVo SQL

    Duplicate to about dynamic  where clause
    User, please don't post the same question multiple times in this forum.

  • How to read an interal table with dynamic conditions

    Dear all,
       I have an internal table IN_TAB and I want to read a record of the table with dynamic condition as below.
    a) IN_TAB  structure : |      ColA     |      Col B     | Col C        | Col D        |
    b) Requirement: there are four condtions, and reading data from IN_TAB (not use loop) based on these conditions. If one condition is empty, it'll be ommited.
    Ex: |      ColA     |      Col B     |    Col C      |    ColD      |
    x1
    b
    c
    d
    x1
    x2
    x3
    x1
    x2
    x3
    x4
    y1
    y2
    y3
    y4
    The conditons consist of ColA = ' x1' , ColB = 'x2' , ColC = '', ColD = ''
    The result will be:
    x1
    x2
    x3
    x1
    x2
    x3
    x4
    Could you please help to solve this problem.
    Thanks and regards,
    Nguyen Huy.

    Hi Nabheet,
      Thanks for your solution, It solved my problem. I also suggest the another way to obtain this.
    - The internal table have to declare with header line, note that the internal table mustn't has x type in the structure.
    - Assign all conditions into header line wether condtion is empty or not.
    - Use statement READ TABLE IN_TAB.
    Ex:
       DATA: BEGIN OF RT OCCURS 0,
            MATNR(18) TYPE C,
            ERNAM(12) TYPE C,
            BISMT(18) TYPE C,
            LAEDA TYPE MARA-LAEDA,
          END OF RT .
    SELECT
      MATNR
      ERNAM
      BISMT
      LAEDA
      UP TO 10 ROWS
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE RT
      FROM MARA.
    RT-MATNR = '7F01113'.
    RT-LAEDA = '20111005'.
    READ TABLE RT.
    @ponvignesh : thanks for your reply, I thinks that the Nabheet's solution is the good way.
    Kindly regards,

  • Can anybody help about the conditions in CRM business transaction??

    Hi experts,
    I'm fresh on CRM and have several questions regarding the conditions in CRM business transactions.
    Can you please help?Thanks in advance.
    In prciing procedure,we can determin which condition should be involved in item level,
       then,how about the conditions in header level??How and where they can be determind?
       how the condition value can be calculated?I think they should be the collection of the conditions of the items.
    Am I right?
    Thanks.

    Hello Jerry
    Basically you are right,  at header level you should see the collection of the conditions of the items. However there are also conditions that can be entered at header level ( header conditions). You can see more information about these conditions in SD documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/dd/561760545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm
    See sections:
    Header and item conditions
    Distribution Between Header and Items
    In "Distribution Between Header and Items" you can see how HB00 and RB00 condition types work.  If you create your pricing procedure in CRM ( not downloaded from R3) then you can use 0HB0 and 0RB0, which are the CRM counterparts of HB00 and RB00

  • How to evaluate the dynamic condition string in PL/SQL ?

    Hello, I am solving the issue of checking and validating the event table.
    For Example, the event table namely "Contract_validated" contains some atts about a contract as follow:
    CONTRACT_VALIDATED (SEQ_ID, CO_ID, VALID_T, CHANGE_KEY, ATT1, ATT1_FROM, ATT2, ATT2_FROM, REASON, CHANGE_KEY_ORIG, ATT1_ORIG, ATT2_ORIG)
    In this table, the pairs (ATT1 and ATT1_FROM), (ATT2 and ATT2_FROM) must be compared to check whether the values are changed or not in the update event (change_key = U). If some records have change_key = U but the values does not change, I need to protocol and correct such records.
    The table name and attributes list could be dynamic, and will be provided as parameters. Therefore, I use Dynamic PL/SQL to generate the code to test the conditions between the values between the pairs columns for detecting the invalid event. However, I am stucking in testing the condition phrases because I can not evaluate the condition string in the SELECT statement. I can not use IF because parts of this condition string take the value from a record and collection type. Anyone has the idea how to evaluate the condition in such case, please give me instructions or recommendations (it could be other alternatives to solve the problems)
    Here is the code which generated from my Dynamic PL/SQL string, however, Oracle raise exception error at the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE v_sql command
    SELECT 'x' FROM DUAL WHERE (NVL(v_rec.ATT1, NULL) <> NVL(v_rec.ATT1_FROM , NULL) OR (NVL(v_rec.ATT2, NULL) <> NVL(v_rec.ATT2_FROM , NULL))
    E-0008: Unkown Exception raised in Loop. ORACLE:ORA-00904: "V_REC"."ATT2_FROM": invalid identifier
    vo_traced_list has type Table of VARCHAR2(2000), storing the atts list of table (CONTRACT_VALIDATED), it has value already from other procedure invocation.
    Here is the dynmic PL/SQL code generated dynamically depends on the table name, and attr list:
    DECLARE v_rec CONTRACT_VALIDATED%ROWTYPE;
    TYPE cv_type IS REF CURSOR;
    v_rec_cv CV_TYPE;
    v_cond VARCHAR2(4000);

    v_default VARCHAR2(10):= 'NULL';

    ||' , ' || v_default || '))';
    END;
    END LOOP;
    v_exec := 'SELECT ''x'' FROM DUAL WHERE '||v_cond;
    Add_Log('Event_Validating',v_user,v_event_validated,'INFO',v_exec);

    /* Exception raised from here

    -- update the REASON = 4 - not interested event

    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE v_exec;
    END IF;
    FETCH v_rec_cv INTO v_rec;
    EXIT WHEN v_rec_cv%NOTFOUND;
    END LOOP;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    Add_Log('SCD_VALIDATION',v_user,v_event_validated,'ERROR','E-0008: Unkown Exception raised in Loop. ORACLE:'||SQLERRM);
    RAISE ge_raise_error;
    END;
    END IF;
    CLOSE v_rec_cv;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    Add_Log('SCD_VALIDATION',v_user,v_event_validated,'ERROR','E-0008: Unkown Exception raised in Loop. ORACLE:'||SQLERRM);

    END;

    Dear Andrew,
    Thank you so much for your suggestions, however, I think it will be better to let me explain more about the situation.
    I am working at Data Warehousing and Analysis part. The event tables are provided by other applications such as Customer OTLP system, Sales Management, etc. We therefore just have the results stored in the event tables (which could be wrong or inconsistency) and no way to force them to be valid by constraints. Before further processing the events , their records should be checked and overridden if possible, and that is the point I am trying to solve now.
    The Event table names, their attributes list, data types, primary key, timestamp columns etc are dynamic and are provided via parameters. I would like to write a procedure which can check the invalid events (not only update, but also insert, delete), protocol them, and override them if possible before processing further. Because the table name, attribute lists, data type, etc are not known in advanced, to my best knowledge, the only choice is generating dynamic PL/SQL code although it could suck the performance. The code you have seen in my first question is the output from the follwoing procedure, where the i_att_list provides the atts list has been parsed from other procedure invocation, i_pk is the primary key, i_tk is the time key, i_table_name is the table name (which is Event_Validation in previous example). The stucking point I have met now is that I do not know how to test the condition to detect the different between column pairs (ATT1 and ATT1_FROM, ...). Using Select from dual is just a dummy select for testing the where condition which must be formed as a string by that way.
    Thank you very much for your answer and looking forward to seeing your further recommendations or suggestions.
    Regards,
    Tho.

  • About dynamic offline interactive form

    I have a request for working with pdfs in netweaver java, but the requisites are quite tight and I don't know if it will be possible to achieve with interactive forms.
    I need to:
    1- Generate a pdf file (many in fact) using preloaded data from backend for offline use.
    2- The pdf must be interactive so the user can introduce new data or modify the preloaded data.
    3- The user should be able to change dynamically the format of the pdf: add rows to tables, make visible/invisible parts of the document, fire different events...
    4- The user should be able to save his work in the file including the format (if he has added rows to a table or made invisible an object it should be saved).
    5- The user should be able to send the data to the server through a send button.
    In short, strange as it may sound, I need to simulate a web dynpro application using an offline pdf.
    I've been searching and I think 1 and 2 are not a problem. I would just need to use a template created in LiveCycle Designer and link the data source to Web Dynpro context. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
    I think 3 can be done using scripting and events set in LiveCycle Designer, though I have 0 experience with it.
    I don't know if I can achieve 4. From what I've read dynamic content can't be saved. That is, if the user changes dynamically the pdf format and saves it will be lost when opened again. Is it true?
    I don't know about 5 either. With online interactive form of course, but with offline? I've seen examples that use and upload control in a Web Dynpro application as an alternative but I'd like to avoid that if possible.
    I'd like to get some indications about if these points can be done or not, if possible with some references that illustrate it (links to blogs, sap help...)
    Some tips and references about how to implement the different parts of this scenario (specially from point 3 and beyond) would be really welcome.
    Thanks in advance.

    Almost all things you mentioned are quite possible with Adobe Forms.
    1- Generate a pdf file (many in fact) using preloaded data from backend for offline use.
    You can do this by creating a Interactive Form using ABAP or create an online form using WD ABAP and just save the required form when done to be used for offline use
    2- The pdf must be interactive so the user can introduce new data or modify the preloaded data.
    You need to have Adobe forms License in case you want your forms to be interactive. In ABAP I think in the driver program you need to set FILLABLE = X or something like that and for WD there is enabled property which needs to be set true.
    3- The user should be able to change dynamically the format of the pdf: add rows to tables, make visible/invisible parts of the document, fire different events...
    The user can add rows to table and depending upon conditions you can set the required fields as visible/invisble
    4- The user should be able to save his work in the file including the format (if he has added rows to a table or made invisible an object it should be saved).
    If your form is fillable and interactive the data can be saved by end user.
    5- The user should be able to send the data to the server through a send button.
    There are different types of Submit options available. You can use Submit by email so that the user can submit the form via email.
    Also I would strongly advise just try Search on forum and I am sure that you would get plenty of links/examples to work with.

  • Explain me briefly about Dynamic Actions in PA

    HI Experts kindly let me know about the Dynamics actions in Personnel Administration.Am just confusing about this concept.In real time scenario what will be the use of this concept.How it will work ?Why we have given the 0077 as target infotype.Kindly describe me in detail.Actually i heard like this concept will be an added advantage in interview point of view.

    Hi, Dynamic actions in real time is merely a event triggered processing that can be configured to do a required job in the back ground automatically. For example when you hire an employee (IT0000 gets created -> can be considered as a trigger). Now this creation of IT0000 can be configured to automatically create date specfications in the background or say can be used to create IT2006 -> all quota types which zero hrs.

  • Include dynamic conditions in the where clause

    Hi All,
    I have an requirement where i need to dynamically include the conditions in the where clause based on the bind variable.
    My condition is like this.
    SELECT f.scheduled_date, a.bld_id, a.room_id, a.cage_id, f.test_num
    FROM feeding_test_results f,
    v_onl_gf_anmls a
    WHERE f.sak_feeding_test_res > 5000000
    AND f.anml_id(+) = a.anml_id
    AND f.bld_id = 'A5'
    AND f.room_id > 0
    AND f.cage_id > '0'
    case when :check_value = 1 Then
    AND scheduled_date <= '16-Apr-2009'
    AND scheduled_date >= '06-Apr-2009'
    Else
    AND scheduled_date = '16-Apr-2009'
    End
    AND f.feeding_status <> 'X') f
    Kindly anyone help me how to acheive this.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hmmm, you may want some NVL's around those case statements such as..
           and scheduled_date <= NVL(case when :check_value = 1 then date '2009-04-16' end,scheduled_date)
           and scheduled_date >= NVL(case when :check_value = 1 then date '2009-04-06' end,scheduled_date)
           and scheduled_date = NVL(case when not :check_value = 1 then date '2009-04-16' end,,scheduled_date)or some such thing. Otherwise the comparisons with Null will just cause it all to fail.

  • Dynamic condition in UDO Matrix's Column

    Hi all,
    I have a user form with a matrix. The matrix's first column has a CFL linked to another UDO MasterData Code (lets call it UDOCode).
    And on this matrix, the same UDOCode cannot be chosen more then once.
    So, I've been trying to code a dynamic CFL that filters the UDOCode's already chosen in the Column.
    Based on this thread I've achived this code:
    Select Case pVal.ItemUID
                        Case "mtx_ACORDO" '// The Matrix
                            oConds = New SAPbouiCOM.Conditions
                            With oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item("@ADAT_ACORDOS1") '// The Matrix's DBDataSource
                                If .Size = 1 Then
                                    oCond = oConds.Add
                                    oCond.Alias = "Code"
                                    oCond.Operation = BoConditionOperation.co_NOT_NULL
                                Else
                                    For i As Integer = 0 To .Size - 1
                                        oCond = oConds.Add()
                                        oCond.BracketOpenNum = 1
                                        oCond.Alias = "Code"
                                        oCond.Operation = BoConditionOperation.co_NOT_EQUAL
                                        oCond.CondVal = .GetValue("U_EspPrcCd", i)
                                        oCond.BracketCloseNum = 1
                                        If i > 0 And i < .Size - 1 Then
                                            oCond.Relationship = BoConditionRelationship.cr_OR
                                        End If
                                    Next
                                End If
                            End With
                    End Select
    If Not oConds Is Nothing Then oCFL.SetConditions(oConds)
    In the matrix's first row I have no problem. All the values are there. But on the second row, no values are display in the DataTable.
    If I change the conditions from .Size -1 to .Size - 2, I get the correct values on the first and second rows, but on the third, again, no values are being display in the DataTable...
    Can anyone help me?

    Hi, Erwine Sukardy
    Maybe it will be helpful if you have a specific task.
    All of items on a Form have it's own DBDataSources.
    For example, to get a table name and field name, that are Datasources to the ItemCode field in a Matrix in a  Purchase Order document, you can use this code:
    SAPbouiCOM.Matrix        tblSNs;
    SAPbouiCOM.Column      oColumnItems;
    tblSNs = (SAPbouiCOM.Matrix)oPurDNForm.Items.Item("38").Specific;
    oColumnItems = (SAPbouiCOM.Column)tblSNs.Columns.Item("1");
    string tableName = oColumnItems.DataBind.TableName;
    string fieldName = oColumnItems.DataBind.Alias;
    HTH!

  • Dynamic insertion of elements based on dynamic condition

    I need to achieve the following:
    Input:
    <Customer>
         <name>Name1</name>
         <email>Email1</email>
         <phone>Phone1</phone>
         <Number>Num1</Number>
    <Customer>
    Output:
    <Customer>
         <name>Name1</name>
         <email>Email1</email>
         <phone>Phone1</phone>
         <Number>Num1</Number>
         <Addresses>
              <Address>add1</Address>
              <Address>add1</Address>
              <Address>add1</Address>
         </Addresses>
    <Customer>
    Based on the number of Addresses that exist for the customer, multiple <Address> elements should be added.
    I can't determine number of Addresses at the beginning. It is deterrmined dynamically based on certain condition.
    So each time when the condition is met, I need to get the count of <Address> elements that exist and insert the new one last.
    My logic:
         Switch (case)     ==> Add <Address> only if condition is met
              count ==> count(bpws:getVariableData('outputVariable','payload','/ns1:Customer/ns1:Addresses')) ==> 0 first time
              <Addresses>
                   <Address>add1</Address> ===> Now I need to insert this.
              </Addresses>
    I have the following in my bpel:
    <assign name="AssignInsertAfterExisting">
    <copy>
    <from expression="count(bpws:getVariableData('outputVariable','payload','/ns1:Customer/ns1:Addresses'))"/>
    <to variable="NumberOfAds"/>
    </copy>
    <copy>
    <from expression="'123 street'"/>
    <to variable="nextAddress"/>
    </copy>
    <bpelx:insertAfter>
    <bpelx:from variable="nextAddress"/>
    <bpelx:to variable="outputVariable" part="payload"
    query="/ns1:Customer/ns1:Addresses/ns1:Address squareBrakets NumberOfAds squareBrakets"/>
    </bpelx:insertAfter>
    </assign>
    But with the above I am receiving the folllowing error:
         Assign Operation Misuse.
         The to-spec does not yield any data; insertAfter operation cannot be performed.
    Please check the BPEL source at line number ..
    I can I insert dynamically insert elements into array. I have seen the example provided in samples, but my problem is little different than that.
    Edited by: user10367892 on Aug 4, 2009 3:16 AM

    append is appending value of variable to existing element, instead of creating a new element in the array:
    For Eg:
    Input:
    <bpelx:append>
    <bpelx:from variable="nextAddress"/>
    <bpelx:to variable="outputVariable" part="payload" query="/ns1:Customer/ns1:Addresses/ns1:Address"/>
    </bpelx:append>
    Output if nextAddress = Address2 and if <Address>Address1</Address> already exists
    <Customer>
         <Addresses>
              <Address>Address1Address2</Address>
         </Addresses>
    </Customer>

  • AFS-Retail interface about price condition

    Hi gurus,
    I am configuring the AFS-Retail interface. Everything is fine except the price on Retail side is not updated. The scenario is: when value of sales price condition say PR00 on AFS side is changed from 120 to 130, the value of the purchase condition say PB00 on retail side should be updated by ALE and IDocs. There is a customizing table about PR00->PB00 MAPPING in AFS side. The problem is I can tigger the IDoc sending by change PR00 via VK12, but the outbound IDoc is still about PR00 not the PB00 I expected. I search all the notes and related SAP help docs, there are only general info about this price distribution scenario but not the step by step configuration. Also we successed in other ALE/IDoc scenario, so there is no problem about the configuration on them. We are on AFS 5.0. Anyone familar with AFS-Retail please give me some clues.
    Thanks,
    Tony

    Hi, Dennis:
    I am working on a similar situaltion and I came across this post.
    If I need to use SAP table A004 and KONP on R3 to get list price to BW.
    Do you think there is any standard SAP extractors offered?
    I am not sure if all "Axxx" related tables does not contain any SAP related built in extractors.
    thank you!!
