  • Please  send about the variant configuration

    Hi
please  send about the variant configuration

    Steps for SD Variant Configuration
Some light on Variant Configuration in Detail.
    The procedure is as follows:
Create a Material - KMAT type with Item category (002)
Create Charateristics in CT04 - Zbike, where in values mention the Color of the bile like Red, Blue etc
Create another characteristics in CT04 - ZPrice, where directly go the additional data tab and maintain the table SDCOM and field VKOND (ABAP Dictionary it will ask for)
Assign these two characteristics to a Class in CL01 - ZBikeclass ( Type 300) in characteristics tab page.
Then go to CU41 Configuration profile select the material and enter the description click on the class assignment ie assign Zbikclass.
Now go back to CT04 - enter Zbike -go to values- select Red- go to extras - Other Dependencies - Select Procedure enter in front 10 write - $self.ZPrice='Red' and save
Now go back go to extras - Other Dependencies - assignments and assign relationship ( by default it will come just save)
Now select Blue- go to extras - Other Dependencies - Editor - Select Procedure enter in front of 10 write - $self.ZPrice='Blue' and save
Now go back go to extras - Other Dependencies - assignments and assign relationship ( by default it will come just save)
Now go to VK11 - Enter VA00 (Condition)(For Std RVA001 Pricing Procedure) - enter variant Red and Blue give the rates accordingly and create the sales order.

  • Hi. About the Forms configuration formsweb.cfg file. Can someone help me ?

I have migrated 6i to 10g and need to start the application in new window. I have setup formsweb.cfg, in lookandfeel=Genric and separateframe=true. When i go to the start url, it opens new window but doesnt close the parent window. How can I close the first window?
    Thanks

You can't. As soon as you close this window, the forms-session will also close. What you could do is to move the window to some position outside the screen using java-script.

  • Why the benefit plan did not appear ?

    Hi.
I have configure in IMG the health plan and insurance plan , then flexible administration...But when i hire or adjust reason for a new employee ,and create IT 0717 , then in ENROLLMENT i still se " Default offer" or "New hire" but in that i see no plan.......Maybe i have configured in a wrong way ..Could you show me how to make these plans appear to be enrolled ?
Is there any document that describes step by step the Benefit configuration.. ?
    Thanks in advance ...

    Hi Qui,
The following are the table for Eligibility Group and Eligibility Variants, You can work around with these tables along with IT 378 adjustment reason. you can create adjustment reason as IMED.

  • G/L account configuration about GR of PO about the third purshase process

    Hi Guys,
I am not clear about the G/L account configuration when do the GR of PO. ( PO is converted from PR which is created automatically when the SO is saved). The account assignment category is 'E' (The acct modification is VAY,consumption posting is 'E', special stock is 'E', It is the same with the IDES system setup). But when I test the similiar case in our system and IDES syste, when I do the GR for the POs,I found that in our system, the Debit is posted to inventory account (The G/L setup in OBYC BSX),but in IDES,it is posted to consumption account (The G/L setup in OBYC GBB VAY). As I understand, If the PO is created with account assignment category, it should be posted to the G/L account which is setup in OBYC GBB,not the inventory account. Appreciate that anybody can tell me why they are different for the similiar cases?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Can you please refer to SAP note 458270, and check whether the material is valuated or non-valuated?
For account assignment E, with special stock E, you need to check EKPO-KZBWS to identify
whether it is valuated or not. If EKPO-KZBWS is initial, the posting will be non-valuated, thus GBB account will be used.
    Note  458270
The system response is correct. In the case of valuated customer sales
order stock, a material stock account is determined. Here, the data is
derived via transaction/event key BSX. In the case of unvaluated
customer sales order stock, on the other hand, a G/L account is
determined by means of transaction/event key GBB.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks and regards,
    Polly

  • What is the benefit of configuring the XSS Homepage Framework for ESS

What is the benefit of configuring the XSS Homepage Framework for ESS?
    Over using standard iViews.

It means you can disable (or enable) the exact functionality your customer needs rather than sticking with the default implementation.
Most customes do not use everything available from ESS or MSS.  Switching it off (making it unavailable) is WAY better than leaving potentially unconfigured content to be accessed by users.  SAP generally do not handle the error cases and you will get lots of nasty stack traces .....

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
If you ask this, you will not probably need it. X11 is a version of the popular X Window System, used by most UNIX operating systems (including OS X). Since OS X Lion (I think), it is no longer included, and you only need it to run some specific applications.

    Hi Divya,
    Thanks for your post.
If you only did the changes on fields/controls in work item type, usually you needn’t update the process configuration and category files.
If you want add your work item type display in team project Web Access
Backlog board or Task board, you need to update the process configuration and category files, please refer to the detailed information in this document:

  • Can anybody explain all the details about idoc like configuration settings etc..

Hi all can anybody explain the idoc configuration settings, communication channels sender and receiver settings

    Hi,
Common steps in both Sender and Receiver:
Create logical system and assign to client
    Create RFC Destinations in SM59
    Create RFC Ports in WE21
    Steps in Sender
Create table in SE11 and insert data
Create Segments in Tcode WE31.Define the table fields in segment
Create basic IDOC type in WE30.Specify the above created segment name, save and release the IDOC
    Create message type in WE81
Assign message type to IDOC type in WE82 and release
Create partner profile in BD64,add the message type ,specify sender, receiver, message type and  generate partner profile and execute.Distribute the model view
Check the partner profile in WE20
Develop a report in SE38 with code that transfers the data from source to destination
Execute the report and specify the fields to be transferred
Check the control records in WE02
    Steps in Receiver:
Create an update function module in SE37
Assign the function module to logical message
Define input method in Tcode BD51
    Create process code in WE42
    Generate partner profile in BD64
After executing the report in sender system check in the destination system table wheather the fields are transferred
In this case a custom table has been created in sender and receiver with same structure. We can even transfer the standard table fields by using idocs

  • THinking about the switch from PC to Mac Pro

I'm looking at a configuration of two 2.8 quad-core with 2 gb ram from Apple, 6 gb ram from 3rd party, a single 750 SATA drive and Final Cut 2 Studio, and running VMWare Fusion for running Windows apps, and software development tools (Windows world). I have been doing a fair amount of video editing/processing, and see that growing - between this increase, and Windows Vista, I think the Mac world may be my best choice - I would run the Windows apps under Windows XP.
The Apple Store recommended going with 2 x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB cards - I will be running with dual monitors, and the biggest demand will come from Final Cut 2. Is there a better choice to be made for the money?
Anybody see any flags raised by what I say I want to do, and the hardware I'm thinking about?
I debated the value in the second Quad core - whether the Final Cut 2 Studio software was written to take adavantage of multiple cores. I'm leaning toward the second quad core since the studio is most likely separate apps, and there might be some benefit provided the second quad core via the OS. Any thoughts on this?
The Ram and hard drives are too pricey from Apple - any suggestions on good third party supplier for the ram chips - I know they need to meet the Apple specs, but assume some mfgs have had a better production/quality history than others.
Any input on this is appreaciated.
    Michael

    Hatter,
The configuration is close - I like both of your suggestions on the graphics card and the boot drive - Apple won't add the Radeon 3870 card, nor the Velocity Raptor drive. So, if I buy the 3870 and Velocity Raptor from OWC, there is a decision I would have to make with regard to what I buy from Apple.
I'd like to continue the process, listing my thoughts, hoping to get more good feedback.
I'm leaning towards buying Apple's standard graphics card (Radeon 2600), and use it for lower demand activities - I figure I can always upgrade it at a later date if the performance is frustrating - I'll have a good comparison with the 3870, so the contrast should be apparent. I'm thinking about the standard 320 g drive, since the extra cost ($50 for 500g, or $150 for 750g) doesn't make sense with the Caviar Black priced at ~$150.
So, I would be getting a machine with the OS sitting on the 320g drive. *Is there a good strategy for adding the Velocity Raptor, making it my boot drive?*
I'm assuming I will get the OS on disc - is this true?
Lastly, I'm looking at the timing of purchasing. I debated on waiting to buy until after MacWorld 2009, but plan on buying prior to the event. My thought was to avoid any issues that come with new releases - adding another layer of issues without knowing what is "normal behavior" isn't worth the increased functionality. In the PC world, sales abound at the end of quarter, and prior to new release. *Is it worth waiting a little while hoping Apple will discount the Mac Pro? Or is this unlikely??*
Again, thanks for all of the great suggestions.

  • Single dispatcher servlet? What's the benefit?

    Greetings,
Just out of curiosity: I've written the setup for a web application using
    several techniques:
    1) Using Spring, where a central dispatcher servlets invokes a bunch
of 'Controllers' to which the servlet functionality is delegated.
    2) Using just servlets (more than one) which take care of the incoming
    requests according to their mappings.
    3) My home-brew dispatcher servlet that dispatches to my home-brew
controllers (just an interface of course).
Just color me stupid, but I still can't see the benefit of one over the other.
    Anyone care to enlighten me?
    kind regards,
    Jos
ps. of course Spring takes care of a lot of other useful things but it's
just that single/multilple servlet mechanism that I'm wondering about.

Thank you very much for your answer. It fits my conclusion (so I like
your answer a lot ;-) that it simply doesn't matter.
I am just a beginner w.r.t. all those servlets/jsps etc. so I was just
wondering.Jos, are you injecting your controllers into your servlets? Yep, for my single 'main' servlet, the 'main-servlet.xml' file defines the
    url -> controller mappings.
Are you loading the Spring web context using the ContextListener?
You want the Spring contexts to be loaded before any of those servlets.I just checked: yes I did; just by accident though because I grabbed that
part from some examples I read in "Pro Spring" and "Spring in Action" ;-)
I can think of one advantage - multiple servlets are under the control
of the container lifecycle. If you have just one servlet and multiple
controllers, the controllers have their lifecycle handled by the GC.
Wait - if those controllers are Spring singletons, they won't be GC'd.
I'm killing my own argument.I'm not using my controllers as singletons because (nitpicky as I am)
I don't want these controllers around when they are not in use but take
    up 'precious' memory ;-)
iow: I delegate the real work from those controllers mentioned in that
xml file to my controllers again.
Don't you have to embed the individual servlet URL for the HTTP
POST into each page that way? A single servlet for all JSP POSTs
makes it easier to change navigation parameters.Well, sort of, because I do have to define several SimpleFormControllers
and keep track of them when those url -> controller mappings are
injected in the servlet. IMHO it just moves that little burden to some other
    place ;-)
Spring Web Flow has a state machine that allows more complex
page navigations. That might be useful.I haven't used it yet because I was under the impression that it wasn't
finished and released yet; hm, outdated documentation again. I'll check
    it out.
Personally, I like the single controller servlet. Before I learned about
Spring I wrote one for myself that used XML to control navigation. I
read it in using the init() method.Exactly what I did (see my OP). I think the mechanism is cute and given
the way Spring does its job, it's the way to go: you can't just stuff all this
injection stuff in web.xml so defining a single dispatcher servlet and its
single <servlet>-servlet.xml file is the cleanes way to go.
But when I look at my multiple servlet configuration it's just as clean, so
I couldn't (and still can't) see the benefits of one way over the other.
My next question would've been: what's all that 'notational benefit' all
about w.r.t to jsp 2.0, jstl and the expression language? (EL). I find it
a bit of a burden personally because it introduces just another
notation on top of nothing else. Maybe I haven't seen the light yet
I really like JSTL a lot. I like the "taggy" notation. I find that it keeps
scriptlets out of my pages and makes it harder to embed business
logic into pages. I find scriptlets very hard to read, worse to debug.
What's not to like?I think I'm in the other camp ;-) I do realize that those jsps are not for
complicated programming tasks; but then again, if they're not, I find that
scriptlet notation quite convenient: just Java all over the place and no
need to use all those different tags at all over the place. IMHO they hide
a bit to much for my personal taste, i.e. if something isn't present, (null),
it mufffles it away to an empty string. I find that a bit ...
PS - Stunning World Cup results. Wayne Rooney looked like a
hooligan. The only thing worse would have been kicking the referee
in the [email protected] I saw that; he was not being a good sportsman. IMHO it was a lousy
    match again.
And how did France beat Brazil? Ronaldino didn't do anything the
entire tournament. What happened?I guess the French were just a bit better: France - Brazil 1 - 0. Nothing
Brazil could do about it ;-)
All European final. Amazing. I thought that Argentina or Brazil or both
would be there.Even more: all Western Europe countries in the (semi) finals. I suspect
that Brazil was a bit too popular and that fact made the players a bit
    too self confident.
    kind regards,
    Jos

  • Please advise the benefit of XI

    Dear Sir,
Can you advise the benefit of XI ? I need to find the document
    Best regards,
    Vimol

    Hi
in the market there are lot of integration tools
like Tibco , Biztalk , Webmethods ..have a look on the following comparison XI vrs all.
We concluded with the following; BizTalk should be used as the main integration engine between the different system landscapes and ALL external communication, and XI should be used as the integration engine for all data to/from our SAP system landscape. Depending on the integration scenario, we may use both.
BizTalk will not see any SAP systems, only web services exposed by XI or using IBM MQ depending on an async/sync integration scenario.
    We believe that XI is better with integration from/to SAP, and;
    - In future SAP will deliver out of box integration for the XI system (XI content) for Enterprise Services Architecture
    - Several components in the NetWeaver stack are using XI for communication
We have a SAP system landscape with several 46C systems (IS/OIL, HR ...) and newer NetWeaver solutions.
    BizTalk ******
Overall communication between SAP systems and BizTalk depending on the integration scenario and who is the initiator:
    SAP 46C to BizTalk:
There are no good mechanisms available for sending data from 46C to BizTalk, we are using HTTP_POST with XML payload. Then you must use the iXML library on the SAP side, its ok, but you will spend, in my point of view, too many hours on XML programming that can be generated automatically.
BizTalk to SAP 46C - Which SAP adapter to use for BizTalk?
We started with SAP adapter from IWay, but that adapter gave us a lot of problems on the BizTalk server (pretty complex adapter with strange behaviour, and several integration scenarios stopped working for no reason at all (unstable)).
The SAP adapter from Microsoft is more stable than the previous,
    SAP 640 to/from BizTalk:
I assume you can use the web service functionality on the SAP side in order to send/receive data, but I don’t know whether 640 support asynchronous web service.
    XI *****
The communication mechanism between different SAP systems and XI are much better than with BizTalk:
    SAP 46C to XI:
Configure a sender communication channel with RFC adapter; basically the XI system will be RFC server so the only thing you have to do is to create a RFC port on the 46C system “pointing” to the XI system. In the Abap program, you can do normal function calls with destination (RFC port) AND the RFC call will automatically be translated to XML on the XI side.
Thus, you can forget all about the iXML library and XML rendering of the payload to HTTP.
Besides, you can choose to use sRFC, tRFC or even qRFC depending on the integration scenario and whether you want guaranteed delivery.
    XI to SAP 46C:
More or less same as BizTalk using a SAP adapter, but string and table types are supported.
    SAP 640 to/from XI:
This is a very nice situation, every 640 has a local integration engine, so the main integration engine (XI) can send/receive XML messages both async/sync. Another advantage is using the SPROXY transaction on the 640 system, generating automatically a proxy class being able to send/receive messages based on a message interface defined in XI (outside-in programming).
    Finally *****
BizTalk and XI are at a conceptual level identical, two integration engines with the purpose of send/receive, route and do message transformation (mapping) using adapters to different technical systems.
SAP came late with XI, best integration engine, good enough. And for sure, I think SAP will come with very nice XI content in time (interface mappings between message interfaces – business solutions) which is beyond BizTalk.

  • Mifi 4510L Mifi Hotspot...is it the network? and what about the firmware update?

I have spent several months trying to seek a solution on the repeated and frequent disconnects from the Verizon wireless network using my Mifi 4510 L.  No success.  I have conversed with Verizon Wireless "experts" on this matter and have basically been ignored, since they do not have a solution. It has cost me a pretty penny in wireless costs due to lost connections in downloads, etc...for which I do not get any credit from Verizon on my wireless bill...go figure.
I have even been accused by Verizon that the problem is my computer and hardware, even though I have ran several hardware, software, and "real-life" connection checks on other wireless networks with no issues at all.  I even have been getting better connectivity when I use my Verizon USB UML290...but I hate having to switch moving my SIM card from the USB Modem to the MIfi4510L...one of these days the SIM card will fail. Verizon has checked the signal strength at my home and work locations (which I already knew as good), but never heard back from them.
Anyway,  I have verified that my wireless network adapter works just fine on other wireless networks (no dropouts, etc).  I have even upgraded to another Windows Operating System - Windows 7...which is more superior than Vista in dealing with wireless communications.  I have implemented quite a number of the solutions provided by other great Verizon Wireless Community members, but the connectivity problems continue to occur.
When I did a review of my wireless hardware logs, I noticed that when I was encountering problems, the dynamically assigned address given to me on the Verizon Wireless network changed quite a bit, even when I was using the same web site. When my wireless connection worked fine, the dynamically assigned address was consistent.  This seemed to change when I encounter peak network load times.
I would appreciate a straight answer from Verizon Wireless on what is going on with the network.  I live in a solid 3G coverage area...but just far away from 4G to benefit for the increased throughput.  The closest 4G location footprint is about 40 miles away from me.
Finally, what about the Mifi 4510 L firmware update?  I have yet to see any notification about this firmware update, either through normal e-mail channels or even through my Mifi configuration site
    http://192.168.1.1/mifi.cgi
    What gives?
I realize that I am sounding a little perturbed about this matter, but it has been almost 4 months now...and Verizon is not living up to their part of the bargain on providing good tech support on the Mifi 4510L.  When they do not have an answer...they ignore the customer.   Not good business!!!

The firmware update was released a few weeks ago and there were multiple threads in this forum for it:
Software Update: Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi™ 4510L
The firmware update primarily addresses a problem with the MiFi switching from 3G to 4G and back.  I would not expect it to resolve a connection issue for anyone in a 3G only area.  Work through the firmware update instructions included in the link above and see if it helps.
There were no email notifications but the MiFi should have been redirecting you to the MiFi homepage every time you tried to browse the internet.  The firmware update is mandatory so if you have not already completed the update then there might be something wrong with your device.

  • About the pricing procedure of purchasing order

    Hello friends,
can anyone tell me about the pricing procedure, conditions & texation of Purchase order?
and hoew to maintain all those term in Customisation?

The Basic thing is Condition Technique. In which there are
    1. Access Sequence 2. Condition Record 3. Condition Type 4. Condition Table.
A Access Sequence access a Condition Record of a Condition Type in a Condition Table is a  Condition Technique. This is a simple logic
Here the Condition Type is very important like PB00, PBXX,RA01 etc.
In the background every Condition Type has its own defition means the purpose of the Condition Type  like, is it for Pricing or Percentage, Quntity base, Accrual Feilds etc is to be defined to work this functions.  Normally we use the existing ones without any risk. But some cases, we have to Create a New Condition Types as per the organisation requirement.
The Pricing Schema is useful to minimise condition types while mention prices for Vendor on the basis of Pricing Schema which we defined according to organisation requirement.
The Pricing Schema means the calculations procedure of Condition Type.
Ex.  RA01 - Discoount % is caclulated on PB00 - Gross Price  means
RA01 is based on PB00  like that we have to define in the Pricing Schema
which makes easy to use in real time.
Here PB00 has the Access Sequence - 0002.
But RA01 does not have the Access Sequence. Why because it is a dependent on PB00. But both are Condition Types.
In the system, by default some standard  Scheme will be there at Vendor Schema Group in the Vendor Master Screen means the standard one is assigned which is very lengthy which may fullfil our requirement. But some cases which may not fullfil our requirement, in such we have to define.
For the configuration, I may not able to explain properly through here but will give some idea.
Configuration: SPRO - IMG - Material Management - Purchasing - Conditions - Define Price Deternmination Process:
    1. Define Access Sequence
    2. Define Condition Type
    3. Defince Calculation Schema:- Here you have to define the Schema - Define Schema group
    1. Define Schema Group vendor
    2. Define Pricing Schema group
    3.  Schema group for Purchase Organisation
    4. Assign Schema group to Purchase Organisation - Define Schema determination
1.define calculation schema for Standard purchase organisation
After completion of the Schema Group, we have to assign it to Vendors.
Then whenever we use any transaction with this Vendor, the concerned  Schema will work as configured by us.
The Pricing in MM is vast because each Condition have its own importance and each Access Sequence have its own importance. So you need not bother about this. First you learn how to define the Calculation Schema through the above.
