About the FPGA utilization table

Hi all,
I would want to know how to interpret the unit in terms of which the usage of the resources of the FPGA is given in that table. I've read carefully the FPGA utilization tutorial, but I guess that nothing is said about that there. In few words: ¿What does it mean , for instance, that the Quotient & Remainder function takes "138,56" when placed outside a SCTL and using I8/U8 data types? ¿What is a 95% of the usage of that unit?

If you set an implicit fact column this column will be added to a query when it contains columns from two or more dimension tables and no measures. The column is not visible in the results. It is used to specify a default join path between dimension tables when there are several possible alternatives.

A question about the multiple source table for the logical table

your connections look good.
which is the result if you bring only the sales column at your report??is it the sum of the 2 datasources??
try to repass again all your bussiness model.or make an other one.
fisrt pass your fact with 2 sources and then your dimensions....
as i can see you have customer_dim,do both of your columns have the appropriate key to this dimension??try to make a physical connection from both fact sources to this dimension as well as for time...
if you do it in this way ,there is no possibility not to work

About the data of table control in tab strip control

hi experts:
I use screen 0001 include one tab strip control,and its include two subscreens,one of it is table control(subscreen is 0003).
I input data in the table control,when I click the button of tab strip control to change to another subscreen 0002.I found that the data I input into table control have not append to internal table.how can I solve this problem?

call subscreen sub. ---> here it calls the subscreen where the tablecontrol is placed
then call module user_command
In the subscreen where you have your table control
in PAI
Loop at itab.

append itab.

next you call the module user_command on the main screen

hi, friends, there are three tables which need some modifications, however thess tables are so important to the system that no access to them is intolerable.
how can i make them read only for others and at the same time which can be modified by and only by my session ?

If it is indeed "so important" (to quote you) then use Oracle's very handy, very reliable syntax of security suggested to you already. THEN connect to the database as a user who starts any/every session with the privileges you desire.

How can I set the timebase in the FPGA API for the NI 9853 CAN module?

is there anybody familiar with cRIO, especially the NI CAN 9853 Modul?
When starting communication with a CAN Bus you can get a receiving CAN Frames from the FPGA I/O Node with a timestamp.
How can I set this timebase in the CAN Controller, because the CAN communication starts every time with the same timebase.
Compared to the CAN API on a PC the timebase for the communication is set when the Open Frame API VI is used?
From that time the CAN Contoller assume the timebase from the PC.
Whats about the FPGA API?

question belongs to my intention, to get absolute Timestamps from the NI 9853
CAN interface. As you said it always starts from zero when starting the
application.
For my application
I would like to get a timestamp with the local time I start the CAN communication
and every CAN Frame should be logged with the Timestamp it is actually send on
the CAN BUS.
How can I achieve
it?
My first
thoughts were to add up the timestamp for every CAN Frame counted from zero to
an absolute Timestamp when starting communication. But I have got some wrong values.
Maybe I did something wrong using the high and low part of the Timestamps I got
from the CAN API.
Do you have
a suggestion for me?

How to download a table of data to the FPGA

I m using an PCI7813R FPGA board and I'm trying to download a table of data into the FPGA. How can I do this as fast as possible and so I can easily index each data row in the fpga. The length of the table can be variable from run to run. A block of memory where in I could write from the host would be the best solution I think, but I don't think this is possible.
Does anyone have some ideas about doing this?

As you probably noticed, it's not possible to use a table in LabVIEW FPGA. Therefore you will have to go through an array. Keep the following in mind however when using an array:

Now unlike you think, there is a block of memory available on the FPGA itself which you can address straight from your FPGA code, for examples see:

Question about the CSS behavior when using layer 3 sticky and sticky table

I have a question about the CSS behavior when using layer 3 sticky and sticky table is full.
If I configure layer 3 sticky and specify the inactivity timeout as below, how does the CSS
handle subsequent needed sticky requests ?

CSS document says that

If you use the sticky-inact-timeout command to specify the inactivity timeout
period on a sticky connection, when the sticky table becomes full and none of
the entries have expired from the sticky table, the CSS rejects subsequent

My question is what is the next reaction by doing the CSS if the CSS is in the
following condition:
when the sticky table becomes full and none of the entries have expired from
the sticky table, the CSS rejects subsequent needed sticky requests
Does CSS just rejects/drops subsequent needed sticky requests ?
or
Does CSS does not stick subsequence requests to particular service but CSS forward
subsequence requests with round-robin basis ? which means if the sticky table is full,
the CSS just works round-robin load balancing fashion for subsequence requests ?

It depends if the sticky-inact-timeout is used or not. If not, it's FIFO (the oldest entry in the sticky table is removed). If yes, the CSS will reject the next sticky request.

We have an issue where a line item amount was not selected invoice was out of balance but the agent selected accept and post. And invoice posted. but I am interested in knowing where the amount if keyed in because when I go to the RBKP table I see an amount entered in the MAKZN (manually accept net difference amount)

Oracle doesn't expose the metadata just like that but shows it in the various columns of various views based on the object type, for example like for tables, it would be in the user_tables and so on. If you are interested in knowing about the metadata of a specific object, you should use dbms_metadata package.

for backup and recovery, please follow the standard procedure of general database backup and recovery. you need to backup both the georaster table and all related RDT tables.

Why do you want to purge this table?
If you want to delete your personalization or pages just use functional Administrator responsibility or use jdr_utils.delete_document().

trace table is the one which keeps track of the records which are inserted on target by replicate process so that in bi-directional replication the same data is not transfered back to the source unless that data is changed in the target.
But when i have tested this, i could not see any data in the trace table GGS_TRACE (name given by default, if one is not specified when adding the trace table).
The data which has got inserted on the trarget did not however replicate back to the source which is what expected, but where this information is stored is something which i could not trace.
Hope someone would have gone through the same thing.
Any information shared on this would be helpful.

Hi CZ_Kevin,
When attaching a project, it might be best to zip the project folder, or attach your VIs, so that we can look at your code. As for the screenshot, it looks like you might be using too many resources on the FPGA but again it is hard to determine without looking at your code.
Since you are using a myRIO, you might get better responses by posting to the Academic Hardware Products forum as this handles many myRIO questions.
Also, there are many pre-built project templates and examples within LabVIEW that might be worth exploring as well as a project guide that includes many tuturials. You can find the latter here.
