Accessing PI WSDL without authentication

Hi,
Is there a setting  / configuration that would allow access to a WSDL URL(obtained from Sender Agreement -> Display WSDL) and pull down the WSDL file without authentication?
Thanks & Regards,
Renjith John Andrews

Did you find any way to get SOAP wsdls without authenticaion? Now, I'm looking for the way how to get wsdl without authentication.
Thanks&Regards

  • Smartcard: Accessing public key without loading keystore

    I have been able to use pkcs11-tool (opensc) to access my public key from a smartcard without entering a pin. Is there an equivilant way to do this using sunpkcs11?

    If your smartcard's firmware permits accessing public objects without authentication (as most do), then you can access them with JCE too (though SunPKCS11). After you have configured the SunPKCS11 configuration file, all your Java program has to do is load the KeyStore, get an enumeration of the aliases, determine which one is a certificate, instantiate an X509Certificate and finally extract the PublicKey out of the certificate.

    Hi,
    if you don't have a binding the I am not sure the binding context is created. Anyway, try
    BindingContext.getCurrent().findDataControl("name here as ID in DataBindings.cpx") and see if it returns a valid instance

  • Document in KM not opened without authentication when SSO is enabled.

    Hi,
    I am trying to open the document (with full url of the document in new window) in new window but the popup is displaying for authentication.
    SSO is enabled and I am able to access the portal without giving credentials. But in new window if I try to open the document with full url then it is asking for authentication.
    Please let me know what cofigurations should I do to achieve this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Post the URL with which you are opening the document in new window.
    The key here is to set proper AuthScheme for the Iview.

    So if you are calling IView using path: http://<server>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/<pcd address>
    Then check the IView's AuthScheme property and choose appropriate one:

    I do not think, there is a version of Outlook right now, that can be used to mail from Aperture. Use "Mail.app" instead.

  • Web Services - This WSDL requires authentication credentials. Please supply

    I am trying to access a web service on our network. This is an open service and doesn't require you to log in. I can put the link into IE and the service homepage is shown however when I try to create a new service in APEX I get the error:
    This WSDL requires authentication credentials. Please supply the username and password below.
    I have tried entering my Windows Username and password (the web service is hosted on a windows VM on our network) however this didn't work.
    Anybody know what might be causing this?
    Thanks

    Hello,
    If you enter the name/location of that script in your browser, you'll see the contents (hopefully). Then you can see the name or IP address and port of your proxy. Try these ones first in the APEX setting.
    If that doesn't work, add your (windows) username/password also. The problem is (apart from the evident security issue) that you probably forced to change your windows password every now and then, and you'll forget to change that setting here. As far as I know you can't enter the URL to the script in the APEX proxy property - however...I never tried...

  • Creating/Mapping security roles without authentication

    Hello all, I am new to WebLogic 9.1, and I appreciate your help in advance.
    I have an HTTP header pre-populated with the roles a logged-in user has (these roles are defined outside websphere), and the user has already been authenticated.
    I want to map each role from my header to a URI configured in weblogic, so it can authorize/deny access to that page within the container, based on the role in the header.
    What would be a good approach to doing this? I have been looking through the security documentation, and I am a bit overwhelmed, I'm not sure where to begin.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1) as said, nothing prevents you from building a JAAS LoginModule that does what you need - e.g. authenticate a user against LDAP, then connect to the database and query for his/her user roles. You can't have container managed authorization without authentication though.
    There will be a change in API in JDeveloper 11 (and most likely in JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 - upcoming) that allows you to set a Subject into the OC4J context, in which case you don't need container managed autehntication. However, I don't have it tested yet and can't tell to what extend this would be useful
    3) Sure, you can build a JAAS LoginModule that doesn't care for authentication. However, this doesn't work with container managed security. As far as I am aware, the only option to not show a login dialog is to use certificates. And certificates are not yet to use with custom LoginModules. So the above mentioned API - that is available as a backported patch for 10.1.3.1 - might do the trick

  • An IOException was thrown trying to access the WSDL at the given URL.

    Hello
    I deployed webservices on weblogic 8.1.5. I defined Security policy on webservices. The server is allowed to access from both inside and outside our domain. When I access with internal ip address, trying to test methods from Launch Test Page from Admin console. When I test a method, it prompts for user name and password. I enter username and password, the invocation is successful.
    After I access Launch Test Page with external ipaddress (from outside the domain), trying to test method, the server did not ask me username and password, I get following exception. The only port open to external world is 80. The apache is configured with wlplugin and divert all trafic to port 7001.
    I was wondering if any one has seen this and how did you fix. Please advise. I appriciate your help.
    Thank you,

    Hi Francois,
    The JAR file generated by the <clientgen> Ant task, has a static WSDL inside it.
    To get your JAX-RPC client to use it, write code that looks like this:
    MyService_Impl service = null;
    MyServicePort port = null;
    try
    // There are two constructors for every XXX_Impl class.
    // The one that accepts a wsdlURL (as a String) will
    // request the WSDL from the service provider. The
    // no-arg one will just use the statis WSDL in the
    // client.jar generated by the <clientgen> Ant task.
    service = new MyService_Impl();
    port = service.getMyServicePort();
    MyObject response = port.myServiceOperation();
    Again, this will cause the WLS client-side JAX-RPC classes, in the webserviceclient.jar,
    to use the static WSDL (in the client.jar generated by the <clientgen> Ant task)
    to invoke the target web service. It will not send a request to the target web
    service to retrieve it's WSDL, because it already has it.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to access some simple web services which are implemented using
    some Perl module (don't ask ....).
    After I've gotten their WSDL file, I can successfully generate stubs
    using
    the clientgen ant task.
    However, when I try to access the webservice from within my EJB's, I
    get the
    following error message:
    An IOException was thrown trying to access the WSDL at the given URL.
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: Response: '411: Length Required' for url:
    'http://petest01:8082/cgi-bin/WebStore.cgi'
    It seems as if the perl SOAP implementation doesn't allow me to check
    their
    WSDL file. Just sending the SOAP POST messages works fine.
    I explicitly specified the 'saveWSDL' option to the clientgen task, but
    it
    still tries to access the WSDL file at runtime. Any way to resolv this
    issue?

  • WSDL without SOAP Action (BTS.Operation?)

    Hi
    I got a WSDL without SOAP Action specified. I'm able to generate XSDs, set up a send port and  call an operation. Since I was calling a single web operation then I set up my Action at send port WCF config to be
    http://localhost/CarService/updateLocation, i.e. [service URL]/[operation name].
    My problem now is that I need to call two separate operations from that web service by using BTS.Operation property; one is still
    updateLocation and the other one is removeLocation. How can I specify Action in send port WCF config when SOAP Action is missing in WSDL? I tried specifying different values but none of them were successful.
    Ex.
    <BtsActionMapping>
       <Operation Name="updateLocation" Action=""/>
       <Operation Name="removeLocation" Action=""/>
    </BtsActionMapping>
    Kind regards
    A.H.

    Hi,
    How are going to call these web-methods. Are your going to call these two methods from the same Orchestration. Or are you going to call these methods from two different send ports by content-based routing (send port filter).
    In BizTalk, this instruction (SOAP Action) is set by assigning a value to WCF.Action context property. You can specify WCF.Action property in two ways:
    Single Action Format
    Action Mapping Format
    The way you have been calling before "http://localhost/CarService/updateLocation" is called Single Action Format. Now you have use the Action mapping format.
    In Action mapping format, you map the WCF.Action context is “mapped”/resolved from another context property BTS.Operation. So if you call from the Orchestration, set the BTS.Operation approirately to resolve the URL in the config. i.e if you have config
    like this:
    <BtsActionMapping>
    <Operation Name="updateLocation" Action="http://localhost/CarService/updateLocation"/>
    <Operation Name="removeLocation" Action="http://localhost/CarService/removeLocation"/>
    </BtsActionMapping>
    In your orchestration, if you set the WCF.Action to "removeLocation", WCF.Action would be resolved to "http://localhost/CarService/removeLocation". In orchestration, you set the
    WCF.Action  context, by setting the logical send port's operation name. Refer to this article for more info:http://www.fortuvis.com/blog/biztalk-and-wcf-soap-action/

    Are the DBA users members of the Administrators Group ?
    Do all 4 database share the same $ORACLE_HOME ?
    I suspect if either answer above is yes then this is not possible, but like I said I am not a Windows person.  I would just ask for two servers and the associated licensing to be acquired.  The requirement to spend money to do something management wants usually elimanates the request in my world.

I've read some tutorials and actually I'm able to send mail via smtp only with authentication, withouth i get this error: "530, Address requires authentication". How can i send mails without authentication?

    Normally the administrator of those forums is also the administrator of the SMTP server they use, so they configure the server to accept requests from the forum software without authentication.
    If you are running your own SMTP server you can do that too. If you are using somebody else's server you will have to follow their rules. You could always contact the administrator and ask whether you could be made exempt from authentication...
