Accessing Work Managers Using MBeans forum

hi all,
I am trying to write code using JMX that gives me all work manager that I've created on WLS 9.0 but when trying to retrieve it using getMBeansByType() shows me MBean size as zero and with getRuntimeMBean() it shows me instance not found in short it doesn't return MBeans so i am not able to get name of workmanager.
Intially problem seems with workmanager configuration but i am sure i have configured properly
waitting for your reply
thanx

Nevermind... It works but not with the old Jive SBS app. There is a newer one called Jive Mobile.

• How to access "Active Sessions" using MBeans

Hi all,
I have deployed an application at EM (Enterprise Manager).
when I logged into EM and click the application I can see the number of active sessions under "Servlets and JSPs" topic.
how can I access that parameter at application level..??
(I want to access that parameter *"x"* at my web application and display Logged in users : x )
EM shows that the number of active sessions. it updates too.. so there must be some bean or record for that parameter..
how can I access that....??
Regards,
Dinuka.

You can use something like the following:

• Connect Ps3 controller to mac book air with lion, USB or wireless, as neither working. Using previous forums

Hi
Have tried so many variations from google & other forums , & utube.
But does not seem to work.
Does configure. Does add as favourite but never paired.
Makes me think can not use controller with cod 4 on mac, but all forums saying yes you can.
Don't even mind if only connected by USB but can not even do that.
Please please help, don't know where to go next.
With lion do not need another game pad companion, all built in.

• Using work managers to process WorkItems in a message driven bean

Hi, I'm trying to get to grips with using a work manager (in 10.3) to process WorkItems concurrently, with the whole process being triggered by a JMS message. I've got everything working using the default work manager but I'm having problems switching over to using a work manager that I've created myself, using annotations to provide the resource ref.
My current setup, using the default work manager, is (roughly) this:
@MessageDriven(mappedName = "jms/tsrd.DependencyWorker", activationConfig = {
@ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "connectionFactoryJndiName", propertyValue = "jms/connectionFactory"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "ejbName", propertyValue = "tsrd.DependencyWorker"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationJndiName", propertyValue = "jms/tsrd.DependencyWorker"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationType", propertyValue = "javax.jms.Queue") })
@Interceptors(SpringBeanAutowiringInterceptor.class)
public class DependencyWorker implements MessageListener {
private WorkManager workManager;
@Required
@Resource(name = "taskExecutor")
public void setWorkManager(final WorkManager workManager) {
this.workManager = workManager;
public void doOperation(final WorkflowControlMessage msg) throws Exception {
Work myWork = new ...
workManager.schedule(myWork, listener);
}With my spring config including this bean:
<bean id="taskExecutor" class="org.springframework.scheduling.commonj.WorkManagerTaskExecutor">
<property name="workManagerName" value="wm/default"/>
<property name="resourceRef" value="true"/>
</bean>And this works fine: when the JMS message is received I send a load of WorkItems to the default work manager and they get processed.
Now what I'd like to do is change the spring config to this:
<bean id="taskExecutor" class="org.springframework.scheduling.commonj.WorkManagerTaskExecutor">
<property name="workManagerName" value="wm/MyWorkManager"/>
<property name="resourceRef" value="true"/>
</bean>Where I've already created MyWorkManager as a global work manager for the server, and it's visible on the admin server for the deployment.
From the examples I've seen I know I need to add a resource ref for the MDB so that it can lookup the work manager using JNDI. We mainly use annotations, so I'd like to just be able to add this line to the MDB:
@Resource(name = "MyWorkManager", type = commonj.work.WorkManager.class, authenticationType = Resource.AuthenticationType.CONTAINER, shareable = true)But when I try that my server refuses to start:
Unable to deploy EJB: DependencyWorker from tsrd-mdb.jar:
[EJB:011026]The EJB container failed while creating the java:/comp/env namespace for this EJB deployment.
weblogic.deployment.EnvironmentException: [EJB:010176]The resource-env-ref 'MyWorkManager' declared in the ejb-jar.xml descriptor or annotation has no JNDI name mapped to it. The resource-ref must be mapped to a JNDI name using the resource-description element of the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml descriptor or corresponding annotation.So is there a way to fully configure my work manager just using the @Resource annotation, or do I need to add a weblogic-ejb.jar.xml file and put some specific config in there? Presumably if I do need to add an xml file then I'd need to put something like this in it?
<wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
<wls:ejb-name>DependencyWorker</wls:ejb-name>
<wls:resource-description>
<wls:res-ref-name>MyWorkManager</wls:res-ref-name>
<wls:jndi-name>wm/MyWorkManager</wls:jndi-name>
</wls:resource-description>
</wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>Am I also right in thinking that I don't need to add a dispatch policy to the MDB specifying MyWorkManager, because I don't actually want to dispatch the MDB to that manager, I just want the manager to be available to the MDB.
Thanks.

Hi, so I've added a weblogic-ejb.jar.xml file with a reference to the JNDI name of the work manager:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<wls:weblogic-ejb-jar xmlns:wls="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/ejb-jar_3_0.xsd http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar/1.0/weblogic-ejb-jar.xsd">
<wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
<wls:ejb-name>DependencyWorker</wls:ejb-name>
<wls:resource-description>
<wls:res-ref-name>MyWorkManager</wls:res-ref-name>
<wls:jndi-name>wm/MyWorkManager</wls:jndi-name>
</wls:resource-description>
</wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
</wls:weblogic-ejb-jar>But I still get exactly the same error when I try to start my server. The example you referred to kind of cryptically suggests that adding a plan.xml suddenly fixed everything, but what am I missing here that actually hooks the work manager up to JNDI? am I getting these problems because I'm using annotations, or are people not supposed to access work managers in this way?
Thanks,

I am absoloutley 100% sure it's correct.Additional details:I was last using Kik messenger before it stopped working.I was sitting less than two foot away from the PS3 my brother was playing.I'm 14 but I'm not some spoilt kid who gets iPhones and iPads from his parents to mess around with, I have got important coursework and homeworks on there.Any help would be great Thanks.

Hello ConfusedLlama
If the password is not working to get into your iPad mini, you would need to follow the steps to restore it. If you have a back up through iCloud or through iTunes, you can restore from that back up and it would not bring back the passcode unless it is encrypted.
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode

1) WHAT if I juse JUST ONE Adobe program pretty often?
They have a single use subscription for $20/mo. Similar to upgrading extended version every 1.5 years.
2) WHAT if I created projects like 2 months ago and I didn't use Photoshop for a full month. Who assures us that with the CC series the projects are opened with the old CS ones?Or don't use it every day?
Same problem if you own it. If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month. You can choose not to update and version will be same as when you last used it.
3) WHAT if I don't use Adobe 24/7? and 5) Making an day-based subscription?? Same problem if you own it. If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month.
4) Adobe, do you think to be the only one making these softwares?
Competition is always a factor in market.
6) After all this mess, you discriminate Europeans, too?
Taxes charged by Governments and municipalities are not controlled by Adobe.

omain.Hi. There's probably nothing wrong with your code,
but the client probably doesn't have the WebLogic

• How to access the mysql using ordinary command line in Azure Website?

Hi
I deploying Django project on Azure. I created project and MySQL db according this method: https://pytools.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=PollsDjangoSql . I can create tables using django command "syncdb" in Visual Studio. I see
db structure in SQL Explorer. All works. But now I need to get access directly to mysql. For example with a view to set encoding of some column, or set permissions, change user password, etc.
I found about many different tools and methods in Microsoft portal. But the purpose of these tools, how to install it and how to use it is a very entangled (After several attempts to find out what's what two weeks later I found on my computer
three dozen programs with unknown purpose. I doubt that I need to install so many tools to just add the user in mysql).
How to access the mysql using ordinary command line (or the same simple tool) in my case?

Hi pvgdrk,
To get access directly to a mysql database, you can use the commandline tool(open a cmd window-->type mysql the commadline ) or the
GUI MySQL workbench.
Since this is a question about MySQL, I would suggest you post your question in a dedicated MySQL forum. You will get more prompt response.

• I haven't been able to access the internet using Firefox for over a week. What is causing this? Is there an issue with Firefox?

I can't access the internet using Firefox. My internet connection is working perfectly fine as I can access the internet using internet explorer. I don't feel safe using internet explorer and prefer Firefox. Please help!

See --> [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Cannot%20connect%20after%20upgrading%20Firefox Cannot connect after upgrading Firefox]
Your firewall may not recognize the new version of Firefox; it is just doing its job. You may need to remove references to Firefox from your firewall's allowed applications list, then try to go to any website, let your firewall detect the new version of Firefox, and give Firefox the permissions needed by your firewall to access the internet.

• Reply to my work email using my blackberry email?

Hello, new to BB here and somewhat technologically challenged... For whatever reason my Pearl 8130 will recieve emails from my work acct. but when I reply or try to send an email it gives me a failed delivery notice. So I got a blackberry email and was wondering if it is possible to reply to my work emails using the bb email but without people replying to the bb email? Did that question make any sense at all?
Also, was wondering how to make my Outlook and my organizer on my bb sync? When I loaded the software and tried to configure that, Outlook was not an option? Again, technologically challenged here....

Little question. I also had the option "Reply-to" at my previous telecom provider. Since our change to a new provider and upgrade of new BIS software... the new provider say that they don't have rights on the Reply-to anymore... So, this cannot be changed anymore. Is this actualy true, or is it policy of my new provider?
Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Interesting! I've not heard of anyone restricting access to the Reply-To field in BIS. So, just to be sure, are you logging into, via a PC and web browser, the BIS site of the new provider? And, on the "General Settings" tab of the configured account, there is no "Reply to:" field at all? Or is the field visible but just grayed out and inaccessible? And, via your BB BIS interface, you get the same result?
And, when you switched providers, did they switch your BIS conduits over? Or were they deleted on the old providers BIS site and you had to then create them brand new on the new providers BIS site?
This is curious indeed!

Sorry mate, but YOU have to know what you want here.
I gave you an easy to follow set of steps.
As you don't seam to mind the outcome, just might just use them...

Yes, you do have the SAPR3 user.
But you don't seem to like to read documentation or learn about how the tools work or anything like that.
Therefore I gave you s simple way to reach your goal.
Of course it's possible to reuse the user.
But then you would have to deal with already existing tables, already existing data etc.
You don't seem to be able to do that. So, the easy steps might be better suited for your needs.
regards,
Lars

I am unable to connect to my Wi-Fi at home, but am able to connect at work. Using my new iPad 4G with cellular and a Motorola SBG6580. My iPad 3G Wi-Fi only connects just fine; the 4G just "spins the gear."

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
•    Launch Settings app
•    Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

That's the code that you need to execute but you should
probably encapsulate that code in Custom Action.
Orion has a EJB Tag Library that is free to distribute that
does all that stuff you just set some attributes.
Go to their site and look at their Tag Libraries.
Also look for other Tag Libraries Freely Available for EJB Access.
