Accidently Pressed the Restore Button

Please Help!! I accidently pressed the Restore button instead of the Update Button and although I didn't finish the process My phone now is frozen and every time I connect it to the computer it says it needs to finish restoring which I don't want to do cause I will probably lose all my contact info, pics, and notes...what do I do?? What can I do?? How can I turn on the phone and keep it as is...Please Help!!!!

Restore it, then once it's finished restore it again but this time use your last backup.
If you don't have a backup you can just sync the phone with iTunes and all your contacts etc. will be sync'd back to the phone.
Camera Roll photos will be lost if you didn't do a backup
Also app dat such as game scores and settings such as wi-fi and e-mail accounts will be lost without a backup

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Hi there,
Do you have icloud account? You need firstly turn off find my iphone (by go to icloud.com -->sign in --> go to "Find my iphone" and erase your iphone in it). And then you restore your iphone with DFU mode.
When you erase your Find my iphone and if you can not restore, your iphone has a problem with hardware.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I was updating to the current iso6 and forgot to click new phone in I-tunes when updating instead i clicked restore and now I have old info on my phone and all my current info is gone is there any way to get that info back.

Setting up as "new" will set the device as if it were just taken out of the box. This certainly would not restore any content that was on the device.
Sounds like what you want is to simply restore to a more recent backup. You did backup the device prior to updating correct? If you did not, it's unlikely that you can get the content back.

Music is not part of the back up. It should be in your iTunes library already. Contacts are meant to be synced to a compatible contact manager or address book. Photos should be extracted from the camera roll to your computer on a regular basis as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not do any of these things, then the information is gone.

What is the error number in the error message? To reset the phone you must press and HOLD both buttons for at least 10 seconds, and longer until an Apple logo appears.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

And here's the hick ups - i bought this to someone selling in a local online buy/sell site. I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.
