ACE 4710- Global Site load-balancing
Does the 4710 have a feature like global site load balancing like the CSS?
We have a site that will have 2 ISPs but we don't have our own block of IP addresses to advertise so we would need to use the ISPs IP blocks. We've had issues in the past advertising one ISPs IP block out another ISP so I was wondering if there was a way we could configure the ACE similar to the way the CSS did global site load balancing. Basically have the ACE act as a DNS server and respond back with the IP address of whichever ISP we wanted the end user to come in on and use a probe to ping the ISPs remote WAN IP to verify the circuit is passing traffic and resolve the correct IP if it's not.
Thanks
ACE does not have DNS server functionality.
And these methods are not supported on the CSS anymore.
The solution we offer is to install a Cisco GSS (Global Site Selector) which can interact with the ACE or CSS or CSM to determine which vip is up or down.

Using ACE for proxy server load balancing
Hello groups,
I wanted to know your experiences of using ACE for proxy server load balancing.
I want to load balance to a pool of proxy servers. Note: load-balancing should be based on the HTTP URL (i can't use source or dest. ip address) so that
a certain domain always gets "cached/forwarded" to the same proxy server. I don't really want to put matching
criteria in the configuration (such as /a* to S1, /b* to S2, /c* to S3,etc..), but have this hash calculated automatically.
Can the ACE compute its own hash based on the number of "online" proxy servers ? ie. when 4 servers are online, distribute domains between 1,2,3,4 evenly.
Should server 4 fail, recalculate hash so that the load of S4 gets distributed across the other 3 evenly. Also load-balancing domains of S1 ,S2 and S3 should not change if S4 fails.....
regards,
GeertThis is done with the following predictor command:
Scimitar1/Admin# conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Scimitar1/Admin(config)# serverfarm Proxy
Scimitar1/Admin(config-sfarm-host)# predictor hash ?
address Configure 'hash address' Predictor algorithms
content Configure 'hash http content' Predictor algorithms
cookie Configure 'hash cookie' Predictor algorithms
header Configure 'hash header' Predictor algorithm
layer4-payload Configure 'hash layer4-payload' Predictor algorithms
url Configure 'hash url' Predictor algorithm
Scimitar1/Admin(config-sfarm-host)# predictor hash url
It does hash the url and the result takes into account the number of active proxies dynamically.
This command has been designed for this kind of scenario that you describe.

CSS: BoxToBox and Global Server Load Balancing
Hi,
I'm going to setup a CSS based Global Load Balancing architecture in two different sites with 2xCSS11503 in each site.
I need DNS Sticky but I'm not going to configure a Global Sticky Database since I would like to configure the two CSS in each site in Box To Box redunancy.
Is it possible to configure on a CSS two app session, one for the Zone-based DNS with remote site and the other one for local Box-to-Box redund?
Thank you
Kind Regards
FulvioHi Fulvio,
Take a look at the NOTE on the below link

Want to know about ACE module in 6509 : load-balancing concept
Hi,
I am quite new in this field , where i need to configure and understand the concept of load-balancing through ACE.
In my existing network set-up , i have some application servers as well as some other servers where i am looking for load-balancing.
I have gone through some of the site and cisco site as well and i came across ACE module which can be installed in 6509 switch.
I have 6509 switch as well but before going for installing the ACE module I am keen to understand below things:
1) what is difference between CSM or any other product load-balancer and ACE module :
Gone through site as well , but not getting proper answer or comparison.
1) I have some of the server configured with clustering and getting one virtual IP, In this case , will ACE work ?
2) If suppose i go for configuring different IP address with all server IP :
How do i achieve it ?
3) what is Virtual IP concept in ACE because i do not have and other ACE module then why do i need virtual IP ?
4) will the load-balancing happens based on destination based or session based ?
Please share the knowledge. It would be great help for me to go ahead with ACE and configure it and understand all the application ?Hello,
1) what is difference between CSM or any other product load-balancer and ACE module :
There are several differences but to say simply, you get higher performance and more features with ACE module/appliance comparing others.
One big difference is that with ACE seriese, you can configure multiple contexts on one box (virtual load-balancers on one box) that makes us possible to provide a virtual load-balancer to a customer. In that way, the customer can access and makes changes on only the virtual box. You can split management domain for each customers. Also using contexts, you can assign certain resources available on the hardware for each contexts according to their service contract.
ACE serise has specific hardware chip for supporting SSL termination but some others do not.
For instance, you need a CSM-S, or a CSM and a SSL module to terminate SSL.
The other thing I should mention is that our most recent product is ACE serise that means it has longer product roadmap.
Let me try clarifying your other questions.
3) what is Virtual IP concept in ACE because i do not have and other ACE module then why do i need virtual IP ?
4) will the load-balancing happens based on destination based or session based ?
I think I'd better to put 3) and 4) first.
Virtual ip address (VIP) is the address to which client accesses.
VIP is tied with a serverfarm or serverfarms, in a serverfarm one or multiple rservers can be configured.
"serverfarm" is a group of "rservers".
"rserver" means real-server that has an ip address and processes transactions.
When a client accesses to the VIP, ACE picks up a rserver according to algorithm.
If you configure a VIP that is tied with a serverfarm where only one rsever is configured, client accesses to the virtual ip address are
all forwarded to the rserver.
If you configure a VIP that is tied with a serverfarm where multiple rsevers are configured, client accesses to the virtual ip address are
balanced among those rservers.
If you configure multiple VIPs, client accesses to those VIPs are forwareded to corresponding rservers according to configuration.
1) I have some of the server configured with clustering and getting one virtual IP, In this case , will ACE work ?
ACE load-balances connections to configured rservers.
If the clustered servers are sharing one virtual ip address and you configure the virtual ip address as a rserver, all connections are
sent to the virtual ip address. That is not "load-balancing" on ACE... You need multiple rservers to which ACE load-balances connections.
2) If suppose i go for configuring different IP address with all server IP :
How do i achieve it ?
You can configure those ip addresses as rserver ip address.
Multiple rservers are tied into a group, "serverfarm".
I'm not certain about your culstered servers but I guess you can configure each ip addresses in the culster as rservers.
Then put those rservers in a serverfarm.Client accesses to a virtual ip address configured on ACE for the serverfarm.
This way connections are load-balanced among those rservers depending on load-balancing algorithm you choose.
Above is just an overveiw. ACE gives you granular control not mentioned above.
I can provide more specific information if you tell me details of what you are trying to archive with ACE.

Could not retrieve Enterprise Global Template - Load balancer issue
Hi,
We have 4 Project Server 2010 servers. The 4 web servers are load balanced by networking team with sticky session configured.
When we try to connect to the Project Server using MPP 2007 SP2, it fails saying 'Could not retrieve Enterprise Global template'. It works perfect when we point to a specific server by specifying the IP address for server name in the 'hosts'
file.
Earlier we observed some errors in the event viewer related to the SharePoint's internal load balancer for which restarted the 'Project Server Application' on each web server and it got fixed.
Now, the only entries that we see related to load balancer are as mentioned below as Information (not errors).

Could the issue be due to network load balancer?
Could the issue be due to Sticky session configuration on the load balancer.?
How can we get to the root cause of the issue?
Which logging category should we set to 'Verbose' that can give us some hint.
Update: We tried to capture the requests through fiddler and observed that when fiddler is running on the client computer then the connection works perfectly fine even through the load balancer. Probably fiddler is reformatting the SOAP
envelop of the web service requests the way it should before sending the request to the server.
If we do not run fiddler and run some other similar tool (like Charles) then it again gives the issue and the request stucks at /PWA/_vti_bin/psi/winproj.asmx
We ran Wireshark on the servers and found the following for that web service call:
[TCP Previous segment not captured] Continuation or non-HTTP traffic.
Please let me know if someone could provide any hint what can be done next.
Regards, Amit GuptaThere are several ways to configure your load balancer. I would suggest that you work with the network engineer, the load balancer vendor and your project administrator to resolve this issue.
Basically you need URL to be resolved correctly. Also, I don't believe PS2007 did a good job handling load balancing, so you may need to bring someone in good with IIS and see they can tweek IIS to manage the cache better.
As I go back and look at your analysis, I think you should probably look at upgrading to Project Server 2013. They made some improvement in load balancing and the management of distributive cache.
I assume you have 4 WFE because you have thousands of project users. Roughly how many you have? Over 1000, over 5000
Have you tried to see if using two load balancing work? How about just one front end. I often see companies scaling SharePoint and Project server to extremes.

ACE 4710 and mangled HTTP requests
After replacing a Cisco CSS/SSL Accelorator and PIX firewall with an ACE 4710 to do load balancing and SSL encryption behind an ASA firewall we started seeing mangled HTTP requests in the Apache access logs for the servers in the server farm. Here is one example:
XX.XX.XXX.XXX - - [21/Oct/2012:01:42:12 -0500] "heckoutFlag=true&verifyPassword=false&newsletter=false&emailaddress=&email2=&pass1=&pass2=&username=POST /register/LServlet HTTP/1.1" 501 3322 "https://www.ourwebsite.com/register/CServlet" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)"
Rather than appearing just after the timestamp, the "POST /register/LServlet" is tacked on to header information that shouldn't even appear in the log. Also the first letter in that header information is always missing (heckoutFlag instead of checkoutFlag in this example).
The mangled request always shows up as a 501 HTTP error and shows up late in the Apache access logs (timestamp is out of chronogical order) and always appears with several duplicate POSTs:
XX.XX.XXX.XXX - - [21/Oct/2012:01:42:23 -0500] "POST /register/LServlet HTTP/1.1" 200 8537 "https://www.ourwebsite/register/CServlet" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)"
XX.XX.XXX.XXX - - [21/Oct/2012:01:44:12 -0500] "POST /register/LServlet HTTP/1.1" 200 8537 "https://www.ourwebsite/register/CServlet" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)"
XX.XX.XX.XXX - - [21/Oct/2012:01:42:12 -0500] "heckoutFlag=true&verifyPassword=false&newsletter=false&emailaddress=&email2=&pass1=&pass2=&username=POST /register/LServlet HTTP/1.1" 501 3322 "https://www.ourwebsite.com/register/CServlet" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)"
XX.XX.XXX.XXX - - [21/Oct/2012:01:44:12 -0500] "POST /register/LServlet HTTP/1.1" 200 8537 "https://www.ourwebsite/register/CServlet" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)"
This is occurring for several different URLs and not just the one above and for multiple web browsers.
The ACE load balances to servers running Tomcat 7 with Apache HTTP server v. 2.2.14.
A recent ACE software upgrade to A5(2.1) has not fixed the problem.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks for any insight you can provide.
-KariHi Kari,
Do you have a sample of the configuration which you got with the CSS?
What is the current configuration which you got on the ACE?
Can you shows this output: # show stats http?

ACE 4710 client NAT (outgoing)
Hi Experts,
I have a ace 4710 set as load balancing http and https only, seems working fine.
Now I have another requirment to NAT all real servers IP (server side internal network 10.8.8.0) to VIP (192.168.1.20).
our configuration is as below,
two real server ip are 10.8.8.2 and 10.8.8.3 connected to VLAN interface v500 (ip is 10.8.8.254)
vlan v400 face to public, v400 interface ip 192.168.1.10, and one VIP 192.168.1.20, VIP is mapped to two real servers.
I need to config: all outgoing trafic from network 10.8.8.0 to public to NAT the source IP to 192.168.1.20 (VIP, not the interface real IP 192.168.1.10).
Thanks,
BQHere are a few things you could try
1. nat-pool 5 192.168.1.20 192.168.1.20 netmask 255.255.255.0 pat
changeto
nat-pool 5 192.168.1.20 192.168.1.20 netmask 255.255.255.255 (/32 host)
2.service-policy input remote-access
do you have a management Vlan interface defined if so add to that interface
3. The requirements are to LB http (80), and https (443). In this case you would need two seperate VIPS defined
VIP1:
class-map match-all slb-vip
2 match virtual-address 192.168.1.20 eq tcp 80
VIP2:
class-map match-all slb-vip
2 match virtual-address 192.168.1.20 eq tcp 443
Is there a requirement to redirect http traffic ? If so you would need to define another class-map to redirect http traffic to https

Using CSM to load-balance two sites
Hi there,
I currently use CSS11500's at two of my sites and I'm able to use source-groups to achieve site load-balancing behind a single VIP. So basically I have a VIP that has servers in both the local site and remote site. Is something like this possible with the CSM? I suppose there's the nat server or nat client commands, but I'd like to be able to maintain original client IP address if possible, or at least maintain the original client IP for connections that stay local to the site.
Thanks,
BrandonHello Brandon-
It is not directly possible to pick and choose what servers are natted on the CSM like the CSS and ACE can do.
In the CSM, you configure nat under the serverfarm specifically.
Ex.
serverfarm Client_Nat_Example
nat server
nat client REMOTENAT
real 10.10.10.1
inservice
natpool REMOTENAT 172.16.35.5 172.16.35.5 netmask 255.255.255.0
If you were to devide up the traffic prior to hitting a serverfarm (maybe use a policy that matches specific subnets for your clients), then you could nat to only certain servers.
Ex.
access-list 2 permit 5.5.0.0 0.0.255.255
serverfarm Client-Nat-Example
nat server
nat client REMOTENAT
real 10.10.10.1
inservice
serverfarm No_Nat
nat server
no nat client
real 20.20.20.1
inservice
natpool REMOTENAT 172.16.35.5 172.16.35.5 netmask 255.255.255.0
policy client_remote
serverfarm Client_Nat_Example
client-group 2
vserver HTTP
virtual 172.16.35.7 tcp www
slb-policy client_remote
serverfarm No_Nat
persistent rebalance
inservice
With this config, the CSM checks global access list 2, anything that matches a source of 5.5.x.x subnet would go to the serverfarm with the remote servers. Anything that does not match 5.5.x.x would use the default serverfarm under the vip (No_Nat serverfarm). This is not optimal, but there is no parity between CSM and CSS when it comes to per-server NAT. -
Lync 2010 and ACE load balancing
Hi there,
Has anyone deployed [or will be deploying] Lync 2010 utilising the ACE as a hardware load balancer. The ACE is not {yet] on the Microsoft list of supported devices for this product, but I am told this because of lack of documentation from Cisco.
The consensus from a few colleagues is that it should work as it did for OCS, which we have already deployed, so assuming that the set up and operation is similar, there shouldn't be much difference in the configurations.

At the weekend our F5 load balanced CAS array name was moved to our 3rd datacentre and all users lost access to Outlook. The databases were running on DAG2 listed below at the time.
We have 3 DAG servers configured as the following:
DAG SERVER ONE (DAG1) | Datacentre 1 | Primary AD Site | Multi role server MBX, CAS, HT
DAG SERVER TWO (DAG2) | Datacentre 2 | Primary AD Site | Multi role server MBX, CAS, HT
DAG SERVER THREE (DAG3) | Datacentre 3 | Secondary AD Site | Multi role server MBX, CAS, HT
We primarlily run from DAG1 or DAG2 - DAG3 is for real DR and loss of Datacentre 1 and 2. The CAS array "Outlook" is configured for the primary AD site load balanced across DAG1 and DAG2.
We use an F5 load balancer that balances the connections across DAG1 and DAG2, if both fail then DAG3 is used automatically. We have tested and it works fine simulating loosing DAG1 and DAG2 and bringing up as a 1 node cluster on DAG3 with a
FSW and the load balancer pointing at DAG3 for Outlook connections.
For some reason this stopped Outlook users connecting - can anyone advise me why as I have been asked to test this again and I was expecting it to work?Hi,
As far as I know, For Exchange 2010 before SP2 RU3,the Outlook clients with an existing Outlook profile would continue to use the old RPC endpoint rather than the new RPC endpoint (even though Autodiscover detected the change). Thus, except with Andy's suggestion,
I recommend you can also repair or recreate the Outlook profile to have a test.
For more information, you can refer to the following article:

Ask the Expert: Global Site Selector Configuration and Troubleshooting
Welcome to this Cisco Support Community Ask the Expert conversation. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions about configuring and troubleshooting the Global Site Selector (GSS) with expert Swati Chopra.
GSS devices represent the next generation of application switches and global server load balancing (GSLB) appliances. Working together with the Cisco ACE Module and Cisco ACE 4710 appliance, these devices form an application-fluent networking solution that improves availability, acceleration, and security for data center applications.
The primary role of Cisco GSS is to implement the business continuance and disaster recovery policies of a business by optimizing and securing the Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure of the data center. It does this by integrating with the DNS infrastructure and responding to the client DNS requests, thereby directing the client to the site that is best able to serve its needs.

Visit this forum often to view responses to your questions and the questions of other Cisco Support Community members.Hi Sarah,
The load balancing mechanism for GSS requests is done via different methods. We can use these methods to define how the load is shared for different balance clauses within the same rule. The 6 methods we use are:
–round-robin—The GSS cycles through the list of answers that are available as requests are received. Each resource within an answer group is tried in turn. The GSS cycles through the list of answers, selecting the next answer in line for each request. This is the default.
eg: if we have 2 answers in answer group then GSS will provide them alternatively.
–least-loaded—The GSS selects an answer based on the load reported by each VIP in the answer group. The answer reporting the lightest load is chosen to respond to the request. The least-loaded option is available only for VIP-type answer groups that use a KAL-AP or Scripted keepalive, as they provide the GSS with detailed information on the SLB load and availability.
eg: if one answer has higher load than the other, than first answer will not be provided until its load goes down the other answers
–ordered—The GSS selects an answer from the list based on precedence; answers with a lower order number are tried first, while answers further down the list are tried only if preceding answers are unavailable to respond to the request.
for eg: answer with ordered number 1 will be provided first till it becomes unavailable. Once it is unavailable then answer with ordered list number 2 will be provided
–weighted-round-robin—The GSS cycles through the list of answers that are available as the requests are received, but sends requests to favored answers in a ratio determined by the weight value assigned to that resource.
eg: if one answer has more weight(80%) than the other answer(20%), then it will be used 8 times out of 10.
–hashed— When the GSS uses the hashed balance method, elements of the client's DNS proxy IP address and the requesting client's domain are extracted to create a unique value, referred to as a hash value. The unique hash value is attached to and used to identify a VIP that is chosen to serve the DNS query.
The use of hash values makes it possible to "stick" traffic from a particular requesting client to a specific VIP, ensuring that future requests from that client are routed to the same VIP. This type of continuity can be used to facilitate features, such as online shopping baskets, in which client-specific data is expected to persist even when client connectivity to a site is terminated or interrupted.
The GSS supports the following two hashed balance methods. You can apply one or both hashed balance methods to the specified answer group.
• By Source Address—The GSS selects the answer based on a hash value created from the source address of the request.
• By Domain Name—The GSS selects the answer based on a hash value created from the requested domain name.
for eg: a user using same source ip will get the same answer from GSS if we do source address hashing.
-DNS Race (Boomerang) Method-The GSS supports the DNS race (boomerang) method of proximity routing, which is a type of DNS resolution initiated by the GSS to load balance 2 to 20 sites.
The boomerang method is based on the concept that instantaneous proximity can be determined if a CRA within each data center sends an A-record (IP address) at the exact same time to the client's D-proxy. The DNS race method of DNS resolution gives all CRAs (Cisco content engines or content services switches) a chance at resolving a client request and allows for proximity to be determined without probing the client's D-proxy. The first A-record received by the D-proxy is, by default, considered to be the most proximate.
Use case is mainly with CRA's.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert if you have follow-up questions.
Thanks,
Swati -

nat dynamic 1 vlan 57
Where is the nat pool on Vlan 57 ?
May be you can try to assign that and that should help.
Something like below:
Interface vlan 57
nat-pool 1 10.0.1.93 10.0.1.93 netmask 255.255.255.224 pat

ACE 4710 blocking FTP WLSD directory listing
Hello
I have a ACE 4710 setup in a test environment(and context) with 2 filezilla FTP servers on the back end and a Win7 laptop on the front end with a FTP client(s). The ACE is setup to load balance by source(the requirement for our project).
When the laptop tries to FTP to the Filezilla FTP servers it connects, enters passive mode, and sends a WLSD command to get a directory listing, but never gets it. If the Win7 laptop is put on the same vlan as the Filezilla FTP servers, behind the ACE, everything works fine.
As far as I can tell the ACE configs doesn’t have any sort of deny acl acting on this traffic. *attached* The FTP client always connects, its just the directory listing that doesn't seem to work.. and we need it to work for the app this is targeting.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
e-Yeah me too!
So after much packet capturing and hair pulling and general dismay, we(me, another admin, and a local var ccie) think this is a app layer issue. We added the inspect command but it wouldnt take without a nat pool in place, so we added that.
We found a packet in the FTP client that tells the server the real IP of client to the server. This is the only oddity that we can locate. Of course I admit we arent using a ACE in the normal way an ACE would be used, we LB by source not destination.
I put telnet servers on my targets and they also communicate directly to the clients IP, but they layer 2 back to the ace first, whereas the FTP server doesnt. We are still working on it to try and find a way to make FTP happy.

Configuring ACE 4710 for Load Balancing Speech servers
Hello, I'm configuring ACE 4710's for the first time and I want to load balance my Nuance speech servers on port 554. Here's my configuration on ACE01:
hostname ace471001
interface gigabitEthernet 1/1
switchport access vlan 1000
no shutdown
interface gigabitEthernet 1/2
shutdown
interface gigabitEthernet 1/3
shutdown
interface gigabitEthernet 1/4
shutdown
access-list ALL line 8 extended permit ip any any
rserver host nss01
class-map type management match-any remote_access
2 match protocol xml-https any
3 match protocol icmp any
4 match protocol telnet any
5 match protocol ssh any
6 match protocol http any
7 match protocol https any
8 match protocol snmp any
policy-map type management first-match remote_mgmt_allow_policy
class remote_access
permit
interface vlan 1000
ip address 10.20.17.21 255.255.248.0
access-group input ALL
service-policy input remote_mgmt_allow_policy
no shutdown
How would I configure my speech server to isten on 554?
Thanks in advanceHello Reginald
Currently you have only basic network configuration, there is no loadbalancing config
I'm not sure what exactly you're asking about , but basically you need to have
- real servers configured on ACE (
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/rsfarms.html#wp999495)
- serverfarm configured on ACE (
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/rsfarms.html#wp1014522)
- L7 policy map (
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/classlb.html#wp1171109 ,
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/classlb.html#wp1027248 )
- L4 policy map , class-map (
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/classlb.html#wp1027819)
And then apply it on necessary interface.
This is a general configuration, in your specific case you may need to configure some additinal features (e.g. I think you will need to have stickiness enabled
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/slb/guide/sticky.html but it depends on your application)
links are for old config guids , but basic is pretty much the same for all versions.
Please check them and try to narrow down your question a bit. -

I have a Cisco ace 4710 with vesion Version A4(2.2). i configued simple SIP load balancing first without stickiness. without stikeiness we are having a problem because bye packet at the was not going to the same server all the time that left our port in used even though user hang up the phone. its happen randmly. i have a total 20 licenced ports and its fill out very quickly. so i dicided to use the stickiness with call-ID but still same issue. below is the config

could you please help me on this...
thanks
Rakesh PatelI mean there should be one more statement-
class-map type sip loadbalance match-any CIN_VOX_LB_SIP_POLICY
match sip header Call_ID header-value sip:
and that will be called under-
policy-map multi-match GLOBAL_DMZ_POLICY
class CIN_VOX_SIP_L4_CLASS
loadbalance vip inservice
loadbalance policy CIN_VOX_LB_SIP_POLICY
loadbalance vip icmp-reply
is that missing in your config ?
