Actions sent through OAM - how to receive in apache server?

Hi,
From OAM we want to send values through custom type called propertytype (instead of headervar and cookie). We configured that in OAM, but apache server and the custom TAI connector which we developed for websphere is not able to recognize it? Custom TAI connector is just for receivinig the data sent, and apache server we are using as a webgate.
Can you please help me out how to resolve this issue?
Thank you,
Regards,
Prashant

Hi Prashant,
The data is sent by the access server and interpreted by its clients as appropriate. The webgate, which is one such client, basically needs to work within the confines of HTTP and thus is not even looking for custom action types. In the custom TAI connector are you making ASDK calls? If so, look at the method "+java.util.Hashtable      getActions(java.lang.String actionType)+" in the class com.oblix.access.ObUserSession. That method, called after isAuthenticated/isAuthorized as the case may be, will retrieve the custom action sent back by the access server.

  • How to get my apache server running on my ip address?

I am new to apache server. I installed apache server as described in :
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LAMP
Firstly where do I store the files that I want to open using my apache server and how do I like map my public ip to apache server?
say my public ip is x.x.x.x
how do I get it work such that next time in browser instead of typing http://localhost/ if I type my public ip it shows the contents on my server.
    Thanks

    Read completely before trying.....
    1. Register an account at www.dyndns.org, its free, up to two domains.
    2. Login to dyndns and create a domain of your choice.
    3. This dyndns keeps track of your router IP addresses which is typically dynamic.
    4. Now we need to update the ip addresses of the domain when ever it changes. It generally changes every time we restart the router. In order to do it automatically we will setup the dyndns account on the router.
    5. On the router, login as admin to change/setup the settings. The router can be reached with the ip 192.168.1.1, this ip addresses changes with the manufacturer, like for belkin its 192.168.2.1
    6. On the router check for something which says DDNS, here you can setup the dyndns.
    7. Give the login details for your dyndns and the domain name.
    8. So, now you have linked your router to your dyndns and you can reach the router from anywhere in the world by type the domain name. The ip is not reliable since its dynamic and so it changes.
    9. No to use an application on a computer connected to the router. You need to use port forwarding.
    10. By using port forwarding, we can make the router redirect the requests to a computer on the network.
    11. Now again, your computer is typically connected to router using DHCP or dynamic ip. So need a static ip address for the computer as well so that it will remain constant all the times and the router can redirect the requests to this ip.
    12. Make the computer acquire a static ip. Configure your system for static ip. You just need to specify some ip address out of the dhcp range. So a static ip address can be 192.168.1.101 (as first 100 are for dhcp).
    13. Now on the router look for Port-Forwarding or Virtual Servers etc...
    14. You will be able to see a list of text boxes for ip and port.
    15. Now specify ip address of the static ip address computer and any port number like 8080. Make the private port or the internal port as the port number of your application. Application name can be anything. Type can be UDP or Choose Both, use TCP only if your are connected with a LAN cable.
    16. Here is an example...
If we are using a webserver on our computer which runs on port 8080, we use it by typing..
    http://localhost:8080
If someone on the same router whats to use our webserver they can type in:
    http://<ip-address>:8080 which can be http://192.168.1.5:8080
Here as you can see, the ip address is dynamic, so change it to 101 from 5. When you choose static, the OS will ask you to specify the ip address, then just specify the ip as 101.
Now you can access the web server by using the ip:
    http://192.168.1.101:8080
But this can be done only by the people connected to the same router. Now we need to make it accessible by anyone in the world. So we need to make people access your computer which is behind the router.
So first we need to make people access the router. But since the router's public IP is dynamic. We need something to keep track of the ever changing ip address of the router. Such kind of service is the dyndns.org
By specifying the login details and domain from dyndns inside the router, the router uploads the new IP everytime it changes to the dyndns servers. The dyndns keeps track of the ip address.
lets say our domain is registerd as: project.dyndns.org
we provide this domain and login details to our router, and the router updates the ip address in case of any changes.
We will now be able to reach the router by typing:
    http://project.dyndns.org
we dont have to worry about the ip address any more.
But still we need to get to the computer to access the web server.
So we have to link the router to the computer. As we know our computer is at IP 192.168.1.101
Now we will setup the port forwarding so that any request to a port A on the router will be redirected to a port B of the IP 192.168.1.101, which is the computer itself.
Here port B is 8080 on the computer with the IP 192.168.1.101
So we need to link a port say 8090 on the router to the 8080 on the computer.
So, configure your router for port forwarding so that the 8090 on the router will point to 8080 on 192.168.1.101
Now, anyone can access the router by typing:
    http://project.dyndns.org
But to reach the computer we need to type the port as well, so type:
    http://project.dyndns.org:8090
So any request to 8090 will be redirected to the 8080 on the computer which is handled by the webserver on the computer.
    EDIT:
Once everything is setup, you can use the domain for SSH and other remote access tools. Just do the port forwarding for the required tools separately.

  • How do I stop Apache Server On OSX 10.8.4

    Hi,
I'm actually trying to make ports 80 available for the localhost. I need to do so because most Web server software MAMP, AMPP, XAMPP, etc use Ports 80 as default. Normally I would just edit the Apache 2.conf file to use a different port on the server software that I am installing after it is up & running. I have had success with that method in the past, but I seem to be losing the battle this time. I thought it might be easier just to turn off the default Apache on OSX 10.8.4.
On it's face that might seem like an easy task, but everything I have tried, including Command Line, [apachectl-k stop] & [ sudo apacheclt stop] but it seems to give me less than satisfactory results.

Hi Bob although I agree that nothing is running on port 80 I believe that this is because apache defaults to localhost prematurely because of the reason below.
"While you are in /etc/apache2, double-check to make sure you have a user config file. It should exist at the path: /etc/apache2/users/<your short user name>.conf. That file may not be created in Lion and if you upgrade to Mountain Lion, you still won't have it. It does appear to be created when you create a new user in Mountain Lion. If that file doesn't exist, you will need to create it with" and it goes on to explain how to do so. After that user conf file is created. I think that localhost then become a free agent again.
If you read my first post I'm more concerned with making localhost available for a new server stack than building my developement space with xcode at the moment.
    Thank you for your input.

Someone who receives my mail sent from Apple Mail cannot receive attachments or read my email even though they are on a Mac using Safari.  How could they be using Safari to receive or read my mail?

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.  This person receiving my email,  while on a Mac with Safari is reading their mail through Safari using Horde--our recent discovery.  Why they chose to do that in unclear. The last email we sent, however, was miraculously read and received and  the attachment was viewed with no problem after we told them our mail was coming from a Mac thriugh Apple Mail.  It seems that telling them that our emails were coming from a Mac and using Apple Mail was enough to make them think that perhaps THEY were doing something not quite right. Thank you both, Level 7 and Level 5.
But thank you especially for the meteorologists in the UK for putting forth the correct routes for Sandy these last days, you probably saved a lot of lives.

Hi newz10 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Because picture messages are sent via the MMS service, I would recommend contacting your wireless network provider to ensure they are not having any issues with MMS or your account in general.
    Thanks.

Sounds like your friend didn't disable iMessage on his/her iphone before switching.  Have your friend do the following:
    Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
    Click on "edit products"
Click on the "x" to the right of his/her old iPhone.
    Click "unregister"
This should unregister it with the iMessage server, which will allow you to send texts as normal SMS.
On your iPhone make sure you have Settings>Messages>Send As SMS set to ON.

    Dear,
For SCOT settings check with BASIS team..
    OR
Use SCOT, double-click the INT node.
Use the 'Set' button in the supported address types section.
In the 'address area' enter the pattern you want, like email@removed as per
your example. "*" is a wildcard.
Any email sent which does not match the pattern will fail with a "no
    route" error (seen in SOST).

All of my texts are now being sent through my email after the new update. How do I change this back to just sending with my phone number?

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address.  If so just check off your phone number and try that.

My pictures are saying delivered when sent through iMessage but the person isn't actually getting them. How do I fix this?
My pictures send through iMessage only to certain people. And others the message is saying " delivered" but the person on the other end isn't getting any of my picture messages and sometimes regular iMessages with no pictures.

I was sure this curse was an Android feature since I had it constantly with my Nexus phones for the last two years, but sure enough it affects iOS8 too. Turn off wireless and and your MMS will go out fine over cellular ever time (in my experience anyway). Ridiculous, right?

  • How to receive XML from Flex HTTP POST

    Hi,
We curreontly have a setup where we have a FLEX frontend send an XML through a HTTP POST and awaiting a response also in XML. On the backend this is handled relatively simply by a PHP script that basically does the following:
read data (in XML)from FlEX HTTP POST into a new temp XML file.
execute a c++ program with the XML file as one of the parameter.
    return the result to FLEX
We have decided to move to BlazeDS for various reasons.
Looking at the examples bundled with BlazeDS they have a jsp example that returns an XML result to FLEX so that part is fine. I am trying to find an example of JSP (or Servlet) that is able to read the XML data from FLEX and write it into a temp XML file. I would then try to use runtime.exec to invoke a local C++ program to process the XML file the result of which will be sent back to FLEX.
Any help will be very much appreciated!

  • How to receive an RFC message in PI ABAP stack from ECC

    Hi mates,
I am involved in a scenario in which we want to receive a message in PI (ABAP stack) from ECC (ABAP stack as well).
We created a RFC destination (3) in sender system (ECC) so both stacks could be linked. However, we do not know how to receive this message once we are in PI Abap stack.
In sender system code, a call destination takes place, an this destination stands for the one destination i noted before.
BUT, as this RFC does not exist in PI, i wonder what steps have to be done in PI in order to be able to get the message from ECC.
Hope you guys can guide me through this. Any help
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
    david

    Hi Anand,
No no, i do not want to create any sender RFC Comm Channel.
What i want is to receive (by means of no PI adapter) a message in PI (abap stack) from ECC (abap stack), just by a RFC connection (type 3) between both systems.
I will try to explain in more detail what i want to achieve:
    1) A standard SAP program is executed in ECC, at the end, a call destination is done.
    2) This destination call, calls an RFC destination that points to PI (RFC dest in SM59, type 3)
(Until now, nothing is done in PI, there is no sender adapter, we just linked both ABAP stacks)
    3) In ABAP stack of PI, we want to receive the message, make any transformations and send the target emssage to PI adapters
    4) From that moment on, a ordinary PI integration is done.
So my question is, what kind of stepd so i have to perform to get the message from ECC in PI without creating any object in PI (ESR, ID, i mean). Just as if we wanted to receive a RFC message, lets say, in BI (abap side) from ECC.
Hope you got me this time.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Best regards,
