Activate control indicators during a year

Hello,
We want to activate the co control indicators for order and commitment managment.
At this moment we have activated only Cost centers.
Is it a problem if we do this during a running year?

Goto SPRO-> IMG-> Controlling-> General Controlling-> Organization-> Maintain Controlling area->
Select your controlling area & Click on Activate components/control indicators & Activate the compnnents
Cost Centers
Order Management
ProfitAnalysis
Acty-Based Costing
Select the Check boxes below them & Save the details
This should solve your issue

Go to OKKP Transaction code.
Select your controlling area and double click on activate componentes/control indicators (Left side).
Now, maintain Fiscal year... and Activate cost centers etc., and save the data.

I am getting the following error message "Control indicators for controlling area BP01 do not exist" while trying to upload employees HR Master data in PA40.

Go to OKKP -> controlling area BP01 -> "Activate component/control indicator"
Press new entry -> Insert Fiscal year for 2009.
You may wanna consult your CO guys.

1573 is my company code as well as my controlling area
This is happening in my sandbox server from to day morning only as it looks like somebody has tampered the settings which doesnot allowing me to create a sales order itself to do any testing
I am totally handicapped and without solving this error i will not be able to proceed at all
This error has come for the first time whilre creating the sales order

Please go to OKKP and see the validity period of controlling area FROM year to TO year.
OKKP
Select controlling area
Double click
Activate components/control indicators.
I believe somebody must have deleted the year.
You need to enter the control indicators FROM year to TO year.
Please let me know if you still have issues.

I am new in PTP process. While creating purchase requisition, I am getting following error(Detailed error message, diagnosis and procedure to resolve(given by SAP) is attached below). Can somebody please tell me how to resolve this problem step by step?

If you are practising your own , Please check the following settings
1. SPRO-> Controlling ->General controlling --> Organization -> Maintain controlling area
Please select Maintain controlling area in the pop up screen, and Select your company code controlling area, and click on Activate Components/Control indicators on left side.Or <b>simple type Tcode :OKKP</b>
Go to new entries and give the financial year 2007 and select Other control indicator as per requirement.

Please try the following.
T.code: OKKP, select controlling area 0002 and choose details. There in field "CCtr Std. Hierarchy", some input should be maintained. If that field is blank, then input the value as " STD-HIER" and save it.
Now select the same controlling area(0002) and double click on "Activate components/cost indicators" tab. Select " New entries" and input fiscal year 2007. In the same screen, under activatecomponents, select " 1 component activate" for "cost centers, order management, profit analysis and Acty-based costing".
Also tick the check boxes of " Profit center aactg, projects, sales orders, cost objects".
Under other indicators, tick the check box " All currencies" and save it.
Now try your requirement. I hope that error should not come this time.

Activate control

HELP. My original problem was that the LMS was
bookmarking my Captivate2 quiz. This problem was fixed by replacing
2 files in the program files for Captivate, SCORM.htm and
scorm_supprot.js. This stops the LMS from sending resume data to my
project, but the added effect is that these templates were
originally designed for Captivate1 and did not take into account
the new security in IE that has you activate an interactive control
before using. The original Captivate 2 files took care of this
problem. Adobe support says that these templates will work for
Captivat1 and 2 and as far as the activate problem is concerned
they refer me to the article on writing your own javascript to fix
it. Well I am having a tough time getting anything to work. I have
tried comparing files and there are changes in both the htm and js
files that I am unable to get to work Does someone know how to get
rid of that activate problem in those Captivatr 1 templates?

0KE5 - Control Indicators

Hi Gurus,
In 0ke5 (ZERO not O) there is a box called Control Indicators what does that actually do?
In that box there are fields called From Yr & Active indicator..if i go to OKKP i can see the existing yr internals match what is in 0KE5... but I am not sure how they relate can some please tell me.

Dear Malaika,
Control indicator
This flag activates Profit Center Accounting in the controlling area beginning with the specified fiscal year.
This flag lets other components easily see whether they need to perform activities for Profit Center Accounting. If the indicator is not set, no data is posted to Profit Center Accounting.
Actions
Maintain the desired control indicators for the current controlling area.
Then enter the control parameters for transferring actual data.
If you want to transfer plan data, you also need to create the desired plan versions.
Select the checkbox in the line with the correct fiscal year to activate Profit Center Accounting.
Note
In the view "Control Indicators for Profit Center Accounting", the system only displays those combinations of controlling area and fiscal year for which other control indicators in Controlling already exist. This means that other functions in CO must be active for the corresponding controlling area and fiscal year as well. These might include: Cost Center Accounting, Orders, Projects, Sales Orders, Profitability Analysis, etc. Since Profit Center Accounting takes its data primarily from these applications (the profit center is automatically posted in the background), it only makes sense to activate Profit Center Accounting if at least one of these other applications is also active.
If there are no entries for the control indicators then postings will not go through into PCA !!!!

GOTO t-code OKKP and check whether u have selected particular controller indicator like cost center accounting, activity,Profit center , Profitability analysis. Select from this indicator which you required.
