Activating and deactivating icons in the Standard toolbar

Hi expects,
I want to activate the printing icon on my standard toolbar cause it is greyed out. How can I achieve that?

Activating and deactivating expose switches the window

Hi,
I found that expose in Lion behaves weirdly.
The steps to repro:
Open 2-3 windows of Safari.
Move one window to another desktop (so there are windows of the same app on multiple desktops).
Activate Expose (with gesture).
Deactivate Expose (with gesture).
What I expected to see after these steps: the same desktop, application and window as it was originally at the step 1.
What I actually see: the screen slides to another desktop and activates the window on it. Doing it again does it again in the opposite direction.
Nobody at the Apple store could explain why it happens or provide any logical explantion.
So what's a deal with it?

How can i use text only instead of text plus the folder icon in the bookmarks toolbar; older firefox allowed this.

I prefer using text only instead of text plus a folder icon in the bookmarks toolbar because it used less space and I can display more bookmark folders in that toolbar. Is that possible in Firefox 4.0? It was possible in the earlier versions of Firefox. If it is possible in Firefox 4.0 how do I do that? Thank you.

Data Slice dynamic activation and deactivation for a set of users

Hi Experts,
                 We have requirement to manually enter the data into RTC using IP.
There are 2 sets of users --> Power Users and Normal Users.
We need to allow the normal users to enter the data only from 1st to 5 th working day of every month.
Power Users should have authorization to edit and enter the data at any time.
Can any one suggest how to set the dataslice using code.

Please note that update of RSPLS_DS table do not affects at RUNTIME.
If you want to create dataslice that activated and deactivated within sequence run you should do the next:
1. Create exit variable that return you all working days EXCEPT 1 to 5 of each month.
2. Create dataslice in modeler on this characteristic with restriction by this exit variable.
3. This dataslice should be based on ABAP class as described [here|https://www.box.net/shared/zhirrvk859].
4. In mydataslice method enter following code (I assume you have any DSO with definition whether user is power user or not. Lets say DSO has next structure:
USER   | Z_IS_POWER   |
aaaa    | NO
bbbb    | YES
Enter the next code in mydataslice method:
SELECT Z_IS_POWER FROM YOURDSO INTO lv_POWER WHERE USER=sy-uname.
IF sy-subrc = 0. *This is SUPER USER. Allow locked data edition
e_noinput = rs_c_false.
ELSE. *This is regular user. Do not allo locked data edition
e_noinput = rs_c_true.
5. Create in modeler 2 planning sequences for activating and deactivation dataslice as described in document.
6. Each time you want to do something with locked data run first sequence for deactivation of dataslice. If super user will run it so dataslice will be deactivated, but if regular user - dataslice will lock the data.

How can I add an icon in the firefox toolbar to access to I.E. outlook express?

I'd like to begin using Firefox as my default browser in place of O.E. 7. However, my Google mail account is programmed to feed e-mails to Outlook Express. I can find no way to add an icon to the Firefox toolbar to easily access Outlook Express.

In my limited knowledge there is no way for a user to add an application to this list. You might try one of these two options.
1. Use a utility like Cocktail or Onyx to reset the launch services database. This is the database that decides which applications get launched when a file is double clicked. It may be that the Endnote application didn't get recognized. However OS X decides what applications to add to the list based on files types.
2. The easier solution is to select one of the files you wish to open with Endnote. Right click on the file and select Get Info. Under the "Open with" menu select Other... and navigate to the Endnote application and select it. Now click the Change all button. From now on when you double click your citation file it will automatically open with the Endnote application.

Printing from the print icon on the Bookmarks toolbar produces gibberish. Printing from Firefox, print works fine

I am using the final release of firefox 4.0, and when I print using the print icon on the Bookmarks toolbar, all I get is gibberish....random letters scattered on the page. But if I click on the Firefox tab and Print from there, the page prints fine.

Same problem, could not print web page. Deleted HP Smart Web Print program. Print function worked after removal. Firefox 4 Beta 8

Download the corresponding .mmb files:

Then you can open them in the menu editor and apply the changes needed.

Hi,
When you choose Mass Activator a list of all objects in the system appears with their status. You can select the objects to be activated from this list and then activate them at one time.

Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :

I have updated and restored 5 times! When connected to itunes it only shows the summary page saying ipod in recovery mode.

Fixed it!
1. Made sure itunes software was up to date
2. Pressed and held 'home' button and 'on-off' button at the same time for about 10 seconds till ipod reset (I hadn't done this step previously)
3. Connected to itunes
4. Pressed restore and update ipod
Update successful and ipod taken out of recovery mode

I try to get as many items as I can in the bookmarks menu toolbar (typically using 3 letter names). F4 adds an icon next to each name - taking up valuable space. How, please, can I get rid of the icons in the bookmarks toolbar so I have space for more bookmark names? Thank you.

If you remove the names then you may have a problem with organizing or searching for bookmarks. 
If you do not want to use the extension then you can achieve the same effect with code in userChrome.css 
That is what I would do.

Is Apple going to restore a contacts icon in the mail toolbar? It is missing in Yosemiti !

Yosemiti does not include an address icon in the mail toolbar. I am unable to BCC a list of addresses when forwarding an e-mail ????

Sorry I didn't use very clear language - by green blob, I mean the maximise button in the traffic light system on the top left of an email - underneath mine is a dialogue box that lists various options, adding fields like cc or bcc, which was someone asked about.
Don't know why the contacts icon disappeared. Perhaps Apple will restore it in the next update.
