Activating Leave Management Node in 4.7

Hi,
I want to activate the Leave Management subnodes in my 4.7 system.I've alreday activated the BC Set EA-HR.The main Node for LM is visible in SPRO,however the sub nodes are not available,this is because of support pack 1 for EA-HR that I have applied on my system.I can clearly see that this support pack has deleted the tables being accessed under the Leave Management Node.Hence I am unable to view the sub nodes.
Is there any way (maybe another support pack or some configuration) that can bring back my LM functionality??

take a look into the source and you will see, that the webpage has been inserted into a html-frame.
Managing the pages in frames is necessary releasing the connections to the server, since if you leaves the page b.e via link a JavaScript-Call is been processed.
If you want to omit these handling, but you want to use the functionality of the resource-release-management, copy the JavaScript-Function into yur source, switch off the "Active Session Management" and try calling the function by an onunload in the <body>-tag....
... or (more simple) switch off displaying the frames in the IE.

Calculation manager node not showing up in LCM

Hi Folks,
I am trying to export the Calc manager rules through LCM, I was able to do that in one of our environments, however when I try to perform
this activity in the higher environments, I am unable to find the "Calculation Manager Rules" node node in LCM.
(Shared services->Application groups->Planning-><App Name>-> Plantype-><App name>-> "Calculation Manager Rules" node is missing from here.
Could you guys let me know what do I check between both the environments (the one in which calc manager node is present and one with out) to get this working?

If you are trying to export calc manager rules, use Shared services->Calculation Manager node. If you are going against planning, it may be called just rules.

Need help to develop a leave management system

Hi All,
Can someone please guide me how to start with developing a leave management system? I know core java but nothing beyond that. I'd love to read J2EE and do this project.
I'd appreciate if someone can guide how to start doing this project.
For my LMS, requirement is this
Requirement : User login and after that he would get a homepage. In the homepage, we need to show the details of the leave taken along with option of leave application.
Similarly an admin shud have option to register the new user and also check his leave status (no of leaves). Shud be able to generate a report for the same.
A mail shud go to the manager for the leave application from the employee.

Error in Interfacing Project Invoices to AR - No Active Project Manager

I am getting an error while transferring a projects invoice to AR.
I am running concurrent program 'PRC: Interface Invoices to Receivables' program from a responsibility that was created as per the client project security requirements.
The output gives an error message - 'No Active Project Manager Found'.
Note:
- The project manager is active on the project.
- The person record of the project manager is active with an active HR assignment.
- The project manager role is not end dated.
When I run this same program from the standard Project Implementation Super User responsibility for the same project, the invoice gets interfaced to Receivables without any error.
Why does this happen ?
Is this concurrent program dependent on any menu / function / profile option ? If so, which one ?

Active Ingredient management error in valuation

Dear gurus,
We have a business process involving active ingredient management system, the process is as follows.
1, PO creation
2, GR against PO with automatic batch creation in Migo (with out entering characteristics)
3, Material After tested the characteristic values for the batch are updated in MSC2N.
4, MIRO for PO
Now my problem is lets say i have maintained in Proportion/Product Unit tab "Plan value " for a characteristic as 95.
We have batch wise split valuation and payment processed according to this batch. In PO we have maintained a OPU same as that of the characteristic.
Since we are not maintaining any characteristic value in GRN the Qty in PO price unit in MIgo doc is updated according to the Plan value in material master which makes MIRO value to calculate wrongly.
Please advice to solve this issue

The problem is if i enter the Characteristic value in migo then all the calculations are coming correct. But our business process requires to enter the characteristic value in MSC2N because of which calculations are incorrect.

Document Management Node Setup

Should Document Management Node setup be available in 11.5.7 as shown in the Workflow User Guide (pg. 2-31 to 2-33, 4-5 to 4-6, 10-32 to 10-35)? The example in the manual is too generic for my DBA's or Internet people to understand it fully.
If we are using embedded 11i workflows can we attach WORD documents or Excel spreadsheets to workflow notifications in an HP UNIX environment or do we have to be using a formal document image management system?
How do we specifically complete the Document Management Nodes screen for a Document Management system's images?
How do we specifically complete the Document Management Nodes screen for a document created by a PL/SQL procedure?
If we can attach Microsoft office documents to notifications, how do we complete the Document Management Node screen?
We are not using e-mail notifications or e-mail summaries. Users are accessing notification screens only.

Cash flow statement can be prepared using the report painter and linking the financial statement version to the same.
In this case we need not ativate the cash management.

Labview 2014 Excel Active X Property Nodes disabled - Why?

Hello,
I am using Labview 2014 and want to open, write to and close Excel by the use of Active X.
I am confronted with the problem, that, if connecting (Active X-) property nodes to the references (e.g. "Excel_Application"), right-clicking on the context menue doesn´t let me choose any properties, the item is disabled (one can read in German "Keine Eigenschaften" (no properties)).
How can I resolve this? What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same problem. When I left click to choose/change the property I do not get a list - instead I get the greyed No Properties popup - see screenshot.
If I drag and drop an existing property node from within an example subVI it connects to the reference and keeps showing the current property but I cannot change to a different one.
I am using LV 2012, Win7, Office 2013.
When I try with LV 2012, Win7, Office 2010, it works properly. So my guess is that is has to do with the version of office. But I would like to know the reason why as well.

Document Management Nodes

Hi,
I have an Item Attribute of Type 'Document' in my WF. When I go to WF monitor to launch this workflow, I see an attachment icon next to this attribute, meaning I can attach a document before launching the wf. But when I click on this icon, it gives a message 'No Document Management Nodes have been defined. Please contact your system administrator.
What does this mean, what settings am I missing, I was going thru the documentation but didn't find anything.

Document Management Nodes is a feature reserved for future use.
However, you may wish to look at Integration of Oracle Internet File System with Oracle Workflow:

Active Directory Management Gateway Service installation error

Hey,
When I attempt to install the 32 bit Server 2008 package from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=2852 I get an error saying that it's not the correct version. Just in case I tried the 3 other versions, but as
expected they give the same error. Any ideas?

Multiplot XY graph : error when wiring 24 to active plot property node

I'm using LabVIEW 2009
When I wire 24 or higher to the active plot property node of a multiplot XY graph , I receive error message :

how many plots do you have currently plotted? ActPlot can only be as big as the current number of plots...

Runtime Error due to activating Fund Management

Hi,
I had activated Funds Management in SAP. I started getting Run Time Errors. I deactivated the Fund Management. But still the Run Time Error is there. I am attaching the file for your reference.
I enquired with the Basis consultant who is telling this is a Functional problem, hence I need to solve this. I checked all the configurations, but could not find the exact problem.
Can anybody tell me how this can be resolved.
Note: This error is showing in Quality Server. There was a copying from Production to Quality.

In the error I see the statement before the dump comes is PERFORM exit--entry_from_table | | 1039| IN PROGRAM (-callback_report)
That sounds like an user exit from a table that is not there.
You say you had a copy from production. It could be that a user exit which was not implemented yet in production and therefore not in the exit table. is now also not present anymore in your Q system after the copy. Were there any changes about to go to production ?
Also in the dump I read the comment:
| 1063|* version and guid are used by strategy -> further params for generated | | 1064|* routines. guid is only used for reference purposes and not returned at | | 1065|* the moment
That could possibly mean that this is a generated program. Maybe you need to regenerate it.
I also see: STEP--METHOD_DRULE
That could mean that these have something to do with rules that have not been maintained.
You could ask a programmer to debug the program and see where SAP tries to get the rules and exit information from (which table) .
Maybe that give you a clue what is going wrong.
If you have a table name start SM30 and click customizing. If it opens a customizing transaction then that is where you need to maintain entries.

Active Ingredient Management

Hi SAP experts.
We want to activate Active Ingredient Management.
But before moving further, would like to know:
1 What processes are affected after activation (Ingredient Managementis necessary only for some materials)? For, example
* there will be fields obligatory for filling
* it will be necessary to create additional objects or documents in system
* etc.
i.e. how strong the current business processes will be affected
2. The content of ingredient in each new delivery a miscellaneous, but receiption to do only in one batch. The amount of ingredient will be an average? Issue will be average amount of ingredient?
For example.
* 101 movement type:
2 pieces contain 200 grams of ingredient (1 = 100)
1 piece contains 130 grams of ingredient
therefore
in system 1 piece will contain 110 grams?
* 261 movement type
2 will contain 220grams of ingredient?

In Bom you are bom qty is 10 Kai that time system do not know what are the result for batches avalable.
If you keep 10 KG in BOM then if you determine material of 90.00 % then in that case avtual potency you will get it 9 KAI only..
So when you determine the batches in process order it will pick qty in KG by converting in result.
If you are same problem again then check again your MIC for which class charecteristic attached.also see in MIC reference charecteristic on.
Boss I am using this concept regularly in my project its running fine.
So please revert me back.

One more setting in QS61 select your materail & ente. .Where you can see all charecteristics assign in class which is used in your material.master.In this screen select all charecteristic line item except your potency.charecteristic ,delte all selected line item
Now with only your desire charecteristic potency save the screen.
Here actually you are assigning class charecteristic to material.

Implement Activity Based Management

I am currently working with a client that wants to implement Activity Based Management. I am looking for any information on how to approach this type of implementation within the Oracle eBusiness Suite. The client is currently running OTL, HRMS, Projects, GL, PO, AP, AR. I am currently researching the ability to do this with OTL and Projects. Has implemented the Activity Based Management Module?

Just wondering if you have got any info to share from your research. I have a similar predicament. I am trying to retrieve timesheet details of ex-employees from OTL. Tried to link hxc_time_building_blocks, hxc_time_attribute_usages, hxc_timecard_summay, hxc_time_attributes, pa_project_assignment, pa_resources_denorm, pa_project_subteams, pa_project_subteam_parties, per_people_f etc.
But in vain. Do you have inputs on how the self service timecard inquiry retrieves the timecard details of active current employees. I believe it is dynamically populated via some APIs. Any thoughts shared is highly appreciated.
