Active sync problems / syncing only first time

Hello!
I have a Xperia Z3 and everything works fine, except the Active Sync with my one.com account.
The syncronization only works the first time directy after setting up the account. I can be shure, there is no problem with password or server adress because it syncs (even if it only works once)...
The next time i try to get new e-Mails the mail app says something like "no connection to the server." (Thats not the original error message, but its translated from the german error message)
My first attempt was to change the sync interval and tried from push to 10 minutes everything. Did not work.
I then deleted the account and established it again. Did not work.
The little syncing symbol next to the selection box always stays grey and does not move.
Does anyone have the same problem and/or can help me?

Glad to hear that you got it working with another client 
Hard to say what's wrong here as i haven't seen the issue before. But as it says that their ActiveSync support is in beta and i haven't seen the issue before i would suspect there are issues with the server and that it will work also with our client in the future.

    When I move files to Trash only first time I can empty it. Second time it does not work.

    then logout/login

    Either add a credit card or maybe another payment method will work

    Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

  • Help syncing for first time please

    I have an iPod touch that has loads of apps installed. I want to sync it for the first time to a new itunes installation. I took the option to transfer purchases from the ipod, and can now see the apps in itunes. However, when I tick the option to sync applications, I get a warning that this will erase all applications AND DATA from the ipod. I obviously do not want to lose all the high score data etc. Will it really delete all apps and data and then copy all apps back to the ipod (thereby losing the data)? Or is this just a generic warning regarding syncing, and it will see that all apps match and to leave them alone?

    You'll need to back up your ipod manually before syncing it to your new iTunes. Here's how to:
    Make sure your still authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
    This will save data, pictures and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
    Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.
    The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.

    Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

  • How do I keep photos on iphone when syncing for first time

    I gave my iPhone 4 to my son as an 8th grade graduation gift.
    He now wants to sync it to his macbook, so I helped him set up an itunes account.
    When we go to sync it, it says it will wipe the phone clean.
    He has some music on there from my itunes acct, and alot of photos he has taken.
    How can he do an initial sync without losing his dat (mostly photos)

    I am not sure if you can do this if it is your first time on a new iTunes account, but I like to uncheck the box that says something like "Automatically manage your media". This means that iTunes does not care what apps and music etc. that I have on on my phone and if I want to add something I just click and drag a media file onto my phone's name and if I want to delete something I just view files on my phone via iTunes and delete it. I never need to check and uncheck songs in iTunes using this method. Itunes also never has to automatically delete and replace "outdated" media this way. If you can access this checkbox on the Device Summary page when you connect to your phone to iTunes, I highly recommend trying this.

  • I am using an airport express to stream from iTunes to my stereo.  My router is a net gear type G.  Setting up is no problem for the first time.  But, when I close iTunes then restart I have to reset (using the reset button)and reset up.  Wanna do it one?

Airport express to stream from iTunes.  My Router is a Netgear type G.  The express sets up fine and works the first time.  When I try to use it at a later date after closing then reopening iTunes I have to physically reset the express and then go through the process of finding it again.  Is this normal? 

    I have a 3rd generation (802.11n capable, 2.4Ghz only) airport express, my problem is that I've tried using it to extend my network and that brick wall, no matter how close I get the express to the room, the signal and throughput in that room becomes abysmal.
    As you might imagine, brick is a lot like cement, and it will not allow much of the wireless signal through.
    Regarding your Express, there is no such thing as a 3rd Generation model....yet. You likely have a 1st Generation AirPort Express. Check and confirm the Model No on the side of the Express. A 1st Gen model is A1264.
    Here's my problem, I don't think the express supports "extending" a network from a wired network jack.
    The Express can "extend" wirelessly, or using an Ethernet connection. The configuration for this is very simple, but post back if you need it.

    Have you temporarily turned off the wireless on a laptop and tried to connect it using an Ethernet cable to the wall jack as a "test"?
    If you can get a good Internet connection this way, then you know the Ethernet cabling and jack are working correctly.
    On the other hand, if you cannot get an Internet connection on the laptop during this "test", then this indicates that the Ethernet cable or jack is not functioning correctly and the wiring will need troubleshooting before you can proceed any further.
    I need to create a whole new wireless network in this room for this configuration to work?
    AirPort Setup will take care of this for you automatically during the configuration of the AirPort Express.
    If I have an apple TV connecting to the express and an AppleTV connecting to the extreme, will they both be visible when connected wirelessly to either network?

    Post back after you have confirmed that the Ethernet cable and Ethernet jack are functioning correctly in the temporary "test" mentioned above.  Then, we will continue.

  • Send email only first time check box is checked?

    I am trying to set up an article insert form with a checkbox for requesting a photographer. I have it set up to send a photographer request email when the form is submitted and the checkbox is checked. The only problem is that on the update transactions it detects the checkbox checked and sends the email AGAIN. I can't delete the trigger from the update form since it may be checked for the first time there. What I am really looking for is a way to only send the email only the FIRST time a box is checked. Is there a way I might be able to get this to work? Or an easy workaround? Hopefully I am explaining this well. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

    Hi Dan,
    well, the only workaround I can think of would be adding this checkbox
    (assumingly submitting a Y/N value) to the insert/update transaction, means, to save the checkbox value in an extra (char 1) field named e.g. "email_sent" -- on your update page you can retrieve the current field value from the query and use this "status" as "condition" for sending an email, means, if the field´s value currently equals N, the email will be sent, otherwise not.
    would that make sense ?

  • Triggering Invoice Output only first time

    Hi,
    I want to trigger an Invoice output(Email : External Send medium)  only when it is created for the first time.
    The reason for doing this :  The document generated is a contract invoice  and some additional warranty info needs to be in body of the email for the partner types maintained in the contract.
    Also is there a way we can get the Bold Text in the email. I am using some standard texts to build email body and then calling
    SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1u2032 .
    e.g. Contract Number:  12345
    Appreciate if anyone has worked on such scenario.  I am considering  using routines.

    To Issue output only once, do the following setting
    Go to Transaction code NACE -> Select the Application (V3-for Billing -> Click on Output types -> Select the required output type -> Click on View Button -> Remove the Tick mark from the option "Multiple Issuing".

  • SPM 2.1 datasource background activity when running report for first time

    Hi All,
    When I log into SPM and click New -> Report, the cursor changes to the timer icon before i drag in a dimension or run a report.
    In SM66 there is an SQL read statement that appears to coincide with this front end behaviour.
    Often this process times out in the front end with a timeout error and "time dimension value help failed".
    Then if i go to create a new report again, a new tab opens, and it opens instantly and there is no SQL read statement.
    Why is an SQL read statement occurring at this point before any data is selected?
    Why does it take so long?

    Hello,
    We initialize the time dimension when the reporting console is opened for the first time. Sometimes depending on the load on your server , this could take a long time thus timing out. I would suggest you to look at the load on your java server. Also , check if there are any background processes running on the ABAP side. Also take a look at the timeout limit in Application Properties and see if you can increase this limit.This might help initially.
    As mentioned , the time dimension is only initialized when the reporting console is opened for the fist time in a given session. This explains why you don't see such a behavior subsequently.

  • ThinkPad Edge (Type: 0301GXG) WOL works only first time after connect power

    I´m trying to Wake On Lan, and after some days thinking that don’t work, it works only 1 time. So start all process over again and don’t work. After repeat all steps, I realized that only works the first time you try to WOL after plug the power. If just shutdown from Windows 7 but not Unplug and re plug the power it will not WOL. If shutdown W7, unplug the power, plug the power and use any WOL, it works perfect every time.
    ¿Any idea to WOL without unplug and re plug the power?

    Yes, the display is only supposed to power on if a DVI signal is present. This has led to many customers believing their new displays were dead, until they were told to connect the DVI cable first.

  • Facetime problems registering for first time

    I have a new MacBook Pro, I am trying to use Facetime for the first time and I can't even register in the app.  The user id is verified properly but after that I get a message indicating that the server is not avaiallbe and try later,  this has been happening for weeks now, Apple support tried everyhting and no luck,  I also have an iPAd 2 and I can use Facetime from the same network location without a problem.
    Anyone has had the same problem that can help?????

  • Frozen Macbook. (Only first time)

    Today for the first time my Macbook Pro 13" froze up completely. I never thought it would happen and it was quite a shock given the fact that in the month I have had this computer I have not had any issues at all. Being a former Windows user, I dealt with freezes a lot.
    Anyway. It happened while watching a video on YouTube. I had paused the video in full screen to do something else and when I returned I was not able to do anything with my Macbook. I tried pressing the keys and clicked the mouse and nothing happened. So using my old tried and true Windows PC trick of holding down the power button, I did so, and restarted. No problems so far, although the first problem with my good ol' Mac was quite a shock.
    Could the problem have been caused by Flash Player? That is if there is even a Flash Player on here. I know Steve Jobs and Adobe aren't the best of friends and all his bad mouthing as of late has "sort of" made me understand why he won't allow flash on the mobile devices. Just curious as to why this little freeze up happened since I thought I would never see it on a Mac.
    This old Mac has been far better to me than any Windows PC has ever been. But I guess there's a first time for everything. Never thought it would happen though.

  • TS2776 Iphone library syncing only first song per album

    Help, My Iphone was wiped after multiple failed password entry attempts, the phone was protected by NSA level security software, and after adding a Survivor protective case, I was mistyping one of the didgets.I was able to restore my purchased apps from my iTunes purchase history, but all of my music, short of a few songs were imported from my hundreds of CD's. My husband has the same music on his phone, yet not quite as much, as his phone is a 32, while mine is a 64. Rather than take the hours of Homesharing the music to my iTunes, since we both use backup drives for out computers, I thought it much simpler to simply plug his Back up into my PC, and copy the Music file to my iTuned folder.Yeas... This was quite abit faster, and all of the music is avaiable to listen to on my PC via iTunes.   
    Ok, here is my issue, When I sinc my phone all of the artists, as well as albums show up on my phone, however only the first song per album is available to play via the phone, all other songs have a square within a circle to the right of the song title, as if it is in download mode.
    I turned on automatic download over wifi, and even tried clicking on the links showing, they change to a circle, and then teturn to cntaining a square, Is there a way to fix this issue, or do I have to go CD by CD and manually import the music all over again, as it will be several days work.
      I normally consider myself to be very good at solving computer issues, but this has me baffled, has anyone got an idea ?

    I've been having the same problem after I restored my iPhone. It's been nearly 8 months since vaporwave first posted this question and, so far, it hasn't been addressed by Apple in an update. It's sad that we have to find a workaround for this issue, especially because it's not the ideal solution (checking each artist probably means I'll end up with all of their songs, including some that I don't want in my iPhone).

    Check the servers used in your account settings on your computer. If your incoming mail server is pop.whatever.com, for example, it's a POP account. Some (e.g. gmail) can be set up either way.
